I've been a patron of beauty quest for over 2 years now ever since they first opened at this location. I use beauty quest mostly for my waxing, manis and pedis. I am very skeptical about my hair but decided to go ahead with a haircut and color and see what happens. I requested for the senior stylist Chamo - I walked out a very happy girl. Chamo did a beautiful haircut that perfectly suits my face shape. Really enhanced my features. 2 days later. I came to him for a hair color. Unlike most stylists, it wasn't about doing the crazy colors but about protecting and caring for your hair long term - all I wanted was a change and to walk out new and different. My hair was in perfect Happily gave you a review for the first time and disheartened to have to mention that I will never use the services of beauty quest again. They do not value paying customers and quiet disheartened by the way my need to speak to the owner was handled by the manager. All for 600 rupees. Its sad when you trust a place and you show your support by continuing to patronise the place and when the need arises for them to show you the same level of support and respect and they fail because they just don't care. That's saddening. I will however praise the kind staff who have done my nails, hair and face for few years and wish them the best.

Poor service. I have made an appointment for a keratin treatment with Mr.Chamoth. But when I go there he just talked with me about the price ranges and he assisted other apprentices to do the whole work. When we are putting an appointment we don't expect to do it by apprentices. We pay for the expertise person with that kind of high cost. If we want to do it by apprentices why do we pay that much of money. At the end the only thing Mr.Chamoth was done is haircut. He didn't came even a single time to see during the treatment by those trainee people.Now I am experiencing that law quality work. Within 1week my hair is changing as a normal hair though I have used the shampoo and conditioner they asked me to use.I am not telling that apprentices are not good at work. But what I want to tell is WE PAY FOR THE EXPERIENCED PEOPLE .IF WE WANT TO DO poor quality work with high cost WE DON'T WANT TO COME FOR YOU. These people only giving priority for the so cold celebrities and their personal favorite customers as I noticed.

I had a really unpleasant experience with them recently. After a prior discussion with their chief hairdresser I got an appointment on 3 pm on the friday of the following week with an estimated price for the service. I was there exactly on 2.55 pm and talked to the person in charge as I was on a tight schedule. Everyone was busy taking photos of a client so I was not called in until 4.30. Inside, there were way too many clients than they can handle.The hairdresser only did the colour and left me with a careless assistant with zero supervision. His assistants were very rude and hastily did a bad job on my hair while hurting me because they had to make up the time wasted taking pictures. In the end I ended up late to my appointment later that evening with a half done hair and with an invoice CHARGING ME WAY MORE than discussed earlier. So girls please be careful. Don't get mistreated by these people for a premium. There are places that gives a better service for half the price.

Decided to go with BQ for highlights as a few people seemed to have had positive experiences + their prices seemed relatively alright! I was asked to come for a consultation prior to my appointment where Tharanga quoted 10k for highlights. However on the day of my appointment, although I got there on time I wasn’t attended to until more than an hour after the given time. They could’ve just let me know if they were too busy so I could’ve picked another date. Additionally, when I was done and went up to the counter they said 13k had to be paid? After saying this wasn’t the amount I was quoted, they checked with Tharanga who then said I had to pay 12k. As I fortunately had additional cash on me, I was able to do so but I don’t understand the point of a prior consultation if the price is being changed later? This situation would be super inconvenient for any customer that isn’t able to pay their increased rate at the end. Would not recommend.

DON'T GO HERE!!!they have a really bad service they overcharged us first they say a lower cost and after they overcharge you,and unless you book a real professional there they put you up with an unexperienced person and they constantly kept BURNING MY HAIR! and didn't even apologize and only prioritize their special customers and celebrities. dont go here because they just don't care and do whatever they want on your hair and dont consider what you want.it's the worst customer service I've experienced because after washing the hair all my colour and hair treatment is gone.DON'T GO HERE THEY ONLY ATTARCT CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR MARKETING STRATEGIES I WAS FOOLED TOO WITH IT.its not really worth for the price and they are extremely pricey too and charge you for no reason by doing this and that.IM NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN WASTE OF MY MONEY!!!

Just finished a Keratin treatment with The Beauty Quest and I must say, my entire experience with them was decent until it came to the payment. Be warned. They publicise one price for their promotion (rs22,000), and when you arrive, they'll up the price (rs26,000) cos of hair length even tho promotion said all hair lengths, and later when you're asked to return to do a wash off for the keratin, there's a separate price (rs3,500) which wasn't communicated before. What a shame because I liked the work of their stylist Vijitha. His massage was very good and I could tell he was very dedicated to his job. The keratin work itself was good too. Just make sure you ask them to share the full cost in advance so you don't end up leaving feeling like you just got cheated.

Heard about Beaty Quest from friends. Found the staff to be extremely friendly. Been to many salons with big names who overpromise and Underdeliver. BQ is different as they are simple to work with. Their pricing is reasonable although not cheap but gives value for money. What matters most was the customer centric attitude of staff. Used google maps to find the place as the road is a one way when teaching through Gall road. Took the marine drive and got to BQ. There was ample parking in front of the premises. Priyantha is talented and creative in his work and well focused on customer needs. Booked BQ for my wife to attend a friends wedding. Visiting the salon again for the homecoming with my wife and daughter. Good job Priyantha, Thank you and all the best.

Really happy with the service! Booked Tharanga for a Hair cut & Colour at Movenpick and he did exactly the colour I requested in a much better way. Appreciate his comments on what suited me and do the necessary changes accordingly based on the pictures I showed. Overall, the staff is friendly and I felt so comfortable on getting my hair done. Eventhough there are lot of clients coming in, you will receive the attention tha you paid for and I really appreciate the fact that Tharanga himself attend to the clients rather than giving the work to some assistant ( Which I encountered in some other places). Received lot of compliments on the hair and he did a really good job. Price is reasonable and as expected considering the service they provided.

Me and my friend went to a saree drapping session which was done by sanjeewa very beautifully. He is really nice and very helpful. My friend wanted to get her hair washed as well and she's experiencing severe hair fall and wanted him to be really gentle with the hair. He is the only person we ever found in a salon who treated her hair as his own wife care because in other salons no matter what you say they end up being so rough with the hair and pulling it so hard it's really depressing when that happens because they leave you speechless because they literally hv control over the hair at that time but sanjeewa was very friendly and understood it the way we wanted thank you so much found the best one to give our hair appointments to

Amazing work.. specially went there as “Don Tharanga” was in charge of the hair dos.. experienced his excellent work in the Maldives. And Priyantha who is one of the best MUAs in Sri Lanka also represent Beauty Quest. Got my hair done within the stipulated time. My hair is so damaged and I am well aware of it. Tharanga recommended the Keratin and the change is amazing. Your hair just becomes so smooth. It’s like the weight just lifted off. Recommend the place highly. Thanks to all the friendly amazing staff Fathima, Shehan and of course Tharanga and Priyantha (don’t remember the skin specialists name, she was lovely too).

The best place to go to for all your hair needs. Rohan is my go to stylist and he never gets my crazy colour requests wrong. He is very attentive and takes care of your needs without causing extreme damage to your hair. The make up and styling done for me the other day by Naznin was amazing, she was very accommodating to all my silly needs (I'm not that used to someone doing my make up) and it was perfect. Very simple and got many good feedback on how I looked that day. Try them out you won't regret it! I'veheard their facials are good - can't wait to try it out.

Hi, Yesterday I came to do the Keratin treatment for my hair and my hair beautician Chamothk has done his majic and it was super good Also while I was in process of the treatment the staff treated me so well and they all were so friendly... not only the beaticians but all the stuff ❤❤ One of the best place I visited is this and I will look forward to get the service with Beauty Quest in future too Highly recommended this place for anyone Thank you soo much ❤❤❤

My girlfriend and I came without an appointment for manicure and pedicure. Super friendly we were greeted and with a tea we also gladly waited a little. It was worth it. Pleasant massage for feet and hands, wonderful exfoliation and cleaning and a very neatly applied nail polish in our desired color (which, by the way, still holds wonderfully today, almost 2 weeks later). Omg so happy! I did a keratin and color root touch up with Thilini and Dulan. First Thilini did an amazing job covering my greys and helping with hard task of lightening my hair (I have brown but someone did a root touch up in tulum and make the root black!) she color matches soooo good and did my eyebrows , then they went to work on the keratin it was a diff process than I’m used to in US but it’s day four now and I’m SO happy! Thank you so much you two!!!

Likitha at Beauty Quest does an amazing job on facials. I've been to her a couple of times and she's so friendly and makes you feel at ease. The place is also hygienic. At one of my visits she pointed out that they do skin tag/wart removal services as well and so I got mine removed from her yesterday and did a good job and also recommended what after care products to use.Highly recommend.

The best salon, I did many treatments here, basic facial (cleanup) was good, and my friend did keratin treatment also done by Chamoth, that was amazing, pedicure also best, professional experience and work, customer service also good, reasonable price, the perfect and best salon in Colombo, i highly recommended this salon for anyone and any treatment, cheer up guys, best of luck

I visited the salon in March 2022 and had a wax and pedicure, which were both great. I have just had my hair coloured and blow dried by Ruwan, which was amazing. He listened to what I wanted and made my hair looking so natural, after sun and sea damage. I also had an amazing head massage when they washed my hair. Highly recommend! Thank you all so much! :-)

Hi yesterday I came with my foreign friend and we both did facial and she did manicure N pedicure too. It’s not worthy for the price to be honest and disappointed. Her nail was damaged too. This is not good especially for a foreigner as it damages image or SL too. Facial is not a real and it’s just as a cleanup worth 4000LKR.

It was not even in a satisfactory level. They did the nails very ignorantly where it was not polished on the edges at all. The hair they did was also bad from the top although it was a bit fine from the ends. The makeup was average and eyebrow threading was fine. And also this place is so costly and not even worth the price!

Thilini dewage is very talented and pleasant on my very first day at The Beauty Quest saloon! I'm really satisfied about my hair and I'm really happy when I leave the saloon. She was very professional and friendly in every aspect. Thank you again for the amazing job and it was beyond my expectations.

Terrible Service! They were unable to do a simple keratin treatment and a cut n color on my wife’s hair. They literally ruined her hair. The keratin treatment didn’t last after washing her hair. The way they handled that situation was very disappointing. Very rude management!

This is me sharing a review for the very first time as Im really disappointed. I got my hair colored from here and requested ash blonde (I even showed them a reference). But this turned out to be golden and looks really bad. I won't recommend this to anyone.

I booked my hair appointment with Thilini ! She was very friendly and did a great job with my haircut and styling, she was also kind enough to give some tips on handling my damaged hair. Highly recommend her for haircuts ❤️

Consistent with their services. Chamoth did a great job with my haircut, just as I wanted. Really appreciate his work and mostly because he is of no unwanted chatter like how most of the beauticians do and make us feel low.

I went for manicure and pedicure, it was not worth the price at all!! Both together was done less than half an hour! Tools were not sanitized, massage was not even for a minute. For manicure massage was not even given.

Their pedicure wasn't up to my satisfaction. Nail polish was more lathered, than painted, on to my nails. There were a few missed spots that were not coloured as well. Although, I got a decent manicure.

I had the best haircut ever. The staff was super friendly. They knew exactly what needed to be done. Everybody said I look so much better with the new haircut. I highly recommend this place.
