Absolutely a waste of time and money there was not a single staff member on the main floor, no directions to the bowling and when you get to the bowling, again no staff in site. There was a bday party that was finishing and noticed parents just getting their food and the party was over. We were there more than 20 mins trying to check in for our time slot and no one. Eventually three staff finally surfaced around the bar and not one person asked if we needed anything. I asked for assistance for our lane and was told they would find someone, poorly staffed and the staff had an I don't care attitude all of them. We ordered double shots in a short not tall glass and pathetic is was seved in a child's cup no way did you put two shots of rum, ice and pop in that. It was straight rum what are you thinking? The glass the horrible pineapple sour came in is the size the doubles should have been in the belini was small and foamy. The the amount you charged us just for drinks was unbelievable and over priced. Management isn't any better I called the next day to talk to someone and was told they were in a meeting. Not sure how long meetings generally go for but I am still waiting to hear back from them and I called Sept 24. The temperature was extremely hot in the bowling area and we might have stayed for another hour but due to the many issues, heat and the lack of staff pretty much made it easy to tell other people not to go. The service was non existent and the table beside us was finished bowling before their food came out and not for a lack of them asking. Server had to be found to order other drinks and still got it wrong. You might considering hiring mature staff that are to work not socialize. Make an effort as we were looking forward to checking out your establishment. But way over priced and if I'm gonna spend that kind of money I would appreciate service not excuses. Plenty of other establishments that treat you better and more reasonably priced. All the hype for nothing.

We went on a Friday and took advantage of the rewards app to get a free pizza. Service was excellent and timely, and our drinks were good. We had trash can nachos, which were not exactly exceptional (and were a fairly small serving), followed by a Big Smoke pizza and some buttermilk fried chicken. The pizza was fine, but I'd recommend going a different route than Big Smoke as it was rather dull. The fried chicken was also very so-so, and the kettle chips that came with them tasted burnt. We didn't try the entertainment side of things, so I can't speak to how fun the bowling and arcade portions are, but other people did seem to have a good time with it. For my part, the best I can say is the food was mostly inoffensive, and for the price you're paying that feels underwhelming. We might come back again, but we won't be in any hurry. Edit - We made a second visit on July 7th at the request of the restaurant manager for a complimentary meal. We were seated on the second floor, and Jay was gracious and made time for us. Our server was prompt regarding our concerns, though there was frequent confusion and uncertainty about the menu (and a mix-up regarding the bill). Still great service, same as last time. We had Mac and cheese and a steak sandwich this time, and there was a marked improvement in flavor. The steak sandwich in particular was a standout. The Caesar side salad was also very well done. That will add another star to the place. One noticeable downer on the second floor was the music, which was a collection of remixes of well-known songs. It was, in our opinion, utterly bizarre, and mostly just made us laugh at how silly some of the remixes were. A very odd choice that added little to our experience. However, overall this was a good visit. My thanks to Jay for inviting us back.

Food was "okay". I believe they describe themselves as upscale dive bar, or something similar. That's accurate. Dive bar food. The service was absolutely atrocious. I came in on a sweltering hot day and asked for a water while I thought about my alcohol order. 20 minutes later I still hadn't received my water, hadn't been asked for my adult drink, and I was absolutely parched. I asked the server for my water. I waited another 15 minutes before I flagged down another server to ask if I could grab a jug of water off another table. It was extremely hot out, and by then I'd been waiting for about 40 minutes without being given water. This other server said she'd give me water, and eventually came back and slammed it on the table with a little extra attitude. The food came out in dribbles. Honestly, probably 20-30 minutes apart from each other. And it was mediocre at best. The QUINOA salad had at best 2 tbsp of quinoa in it. It was mostly lettuce, and lacked real flavour. My daughter ordered a 7 Up, which never came. Her friend ended up giving her her 7-Up, thinking she'd get her bottomless refill, but the server never came to offer the refill. Same friend's meal was also forgotten when everyone else's food was delivered. (Note - kids were at a separate table, and their food came out mostly at once, and in a timely manner. Adult table came out very slowly.) By the time my food arrived my fries felt stale and lukewarm at best. Friend's drink arrived warm, and she had to ask twice for ice cubes The whole thing was a hot mess, and not something I feel I need to repeat. I resented having to tip, since the server couldn't get the orders right, nothing was delivered in a timely manner, and she didn't even come back to check on us. I think the fun bowling may be this venues only saving grace.

Walked in around lunch and it wasn't very busy. Was hard finding a table that was actually clean and wiped down, so this wasn't a great start. Finally found a booth that was free and was the cleanest one available (table was definitely not wiped down though). After I had wiped down the table myself with some wet wipes I keep on hand, it took a while for our server to come to our table with waters and menus. To our shock, one of the glasses we were given for our waters had lipstick from where someone had drank from it previously. Another dig to the cleanliness so far and we havent even been in the establishment 30 minutes. The whole time we were there (about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours), the tables across and behind us were never cleaned and a couple of them never bussed. I'm not sure what the staff were up to today, but they were by no means busy to the point where they didn't have the time wipe a table down. I like Banquet and have been to this location several times, but this time was by far a massive let down. The bare minimum of clean tables and glassware is all I would reasonably expect as a customer, but it seemed like this was not a point of importance for today and for those working. Concerned for future visits and will definitely be paying more attention to the cleanliness of the place moving forward.

Husband and I went here for a birthday. Service was super slow. Food was over priced. $17 for fried cheese curds that could fit in the palm of my hand. $9 Caesar salad that is the size of a small soup bowl. $20 for 5 frozen chicken strips and fries. I had concerns about the food itself - quality wasn’t great considering how pricey it was for “pub food” and the tuna and salmon in sushi tacos came to the table warm (sushi grade should be cold, so there was concern that either the fish was served warm or waited under a heat lamp for so long that the fish went warm). Nobody actually came to ask if the food was good and since the server was too busy, we didn’t bother to complain about the food. We paid $130 for our bill and went across the street to get better food because we were starving. Came back for bowling. Drinks were $15. I am a light weight, I usually start to feel drunk after 1-2 drinks. I had 4 doubles and felt nothing. Drinks were all watered down. It wasn’t until I started ordering beer that I started feeling a bit “tipsy”. Atmosphere was great after hours. Music was good and upbeat. Servers were worst at night but I really think it is understaffed for how busy it is. Overall, we spent over $200 there all night, left hungry and sober somehow. Wouldn’t come back unfortunately.

We went to sit on the patio yesterday afternoon (a Saturday around 4pm) intending to celebrate our anniversary. The patio is gorgeous and we thought it would be fun to be able to play some games and have some drinks. However, when we first sat down a server brought us some water and told us someone would be with us shortly. Well, we sat there for half an hour and not a single one of the 7 (SEVEN!) staff that we saw came over to our table. It was by no means busy (mostly empty), they were just standing by the bar in a group, talking, laughing and eating. Many of the staff walked right by us without making eye contact or saying a word. We ended up leaving and walking to brewhouse where we had a great experience. This is now the second time we’ve been there and the second time we sat on the patio and were not served. The first time was a Friday night and it was packed so we didn’t think much of it, just went to the bar to get our own drinks. I’ve been a server and totally get how tables can get missed when you’re swamped, but yesterday it was just ridiculous. It’s unfortunate because the venue is awesome and we would have loved to have spent a lot of evenings there, but the staff is horrible. Takes away the fun of the atmosphere when you can’t even get a drink. We don’t plan to return.

Was part of a group event, and I felt like no proper care was given to us. This place has all the pieces that could make an amazing experience but they lack the care and touches that could create repeat customers. We were not given space in the bowling alley despite booking in advance, the person our party head dealt with was not there and no instructions were given to their staff in regards to the menu etc. Once food did come, the sides discussed with our party lead came out late, and some parts only came out because our party lead chatted with them, and was told "They didn't serve the sides discussed for group parties". Not only that, we had to put our own burgers together, and the patties were super dry due to the way they were kept warm. When the sides did come most the party had private ordered other things not knowing there was more. All in all, quite disappointed and will not be booking parties here, nor would I recommend you do. The food is decent, but overpriced, and the service was extremely laking. We were never checked on unless we asked, our toppings, and cutlery were constantly running out. Please improve these things!

Not good…. Went here for a birthday party on a Wednesday. The server was awful… I hope she was new cause she had no idea what she was talking about. She was incapable of taking 1 drink order by memory (we were the only table there) I would tell her my name and my drink order and she would come right back to me with the iPad to repeat my order, and in the end she still had it wrong anyways. Three of my friends were charged with too many drinks (we had 2-3 each over 3 hours so we weren’t intoxicated my any means) and the server argued with us about the mix up, we also ordered a side of guacamole and 3 of us were charged an extra $2 for the tiniest side guacamole I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure she got so defensive cause we caught her moving food around and putting extra drinks on to get higher bills so more tips. My salmon poke bowl was gross, I ate half and threw the rest away, I was sick and throwing up the morning after, and am steak dealing with stomach issues 24 hours later. I will not be back. Edit: 2 days later I asked a friend who had the same meal as me, she is also sick… DO NOT ORDER THE SALMON POKE BOWL

Absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant. We came to celebrate a birthday and from the start it was bad. We ordered a bottle of wine that was opened at the bar and then brought in glasses to the table to which we complained and the waitress blamed the bar manager saying that the bar manager insisted on preserving it before it got it the table. Then we ordered 6 meals and 5/6 were wrong. The kitchen ran out of rice (how does that even happen!?) so 3 meals weren’t able to be completed, which they didn’t mention until bringing out other meals to the table. So none of us could eat together at the same time. The steaks that we ordered were burnt to a crisp as well as the salmon that was ordered. We asked to speak to the manager on duty to which he made excuses for all the wrong doings and didn’t offer an apology of any sorts. He did offer to have the meals redone but again we had to wait for the meals to be made yet again. We ended up leaving and having the bill only slightly discounted. We will NEVER be coming back here again. Absolute disgrace of a restaurant and service.

Was served food with nuts in it after explicitly stating my anaphylactic allergy multiple times. Had to leave in a rush because I ate a nut and thought I was going to need medical attention. No one helped, no one apologized. I took time out of my day to email them privately to discuss how allergy protocols are incredibly important for the safety of their patrons and to my shock, no one cared to respond. It’s now almost a week and a half later, and though I rarely leave reviews anywhere (especially negative ones) my experience there was absolutely disgusting, and I feel that it is my duty to warn anyone with allergies, especially children, to stay away from this restaurant that clearly does not care about you, your feedback, or most importantly, your safety. Consider yourselves warned.

DANGEROUS IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. No protocols in place. They put nuts on my nut free dish. Twice. I ate some by accident the second time.

My review is basically on par with the previous bad reviews. Service was horrible, food was incredibly slow and arrived cold. I had to ask for someone to come serve our table a couple of times in which they weren’t super pleasant when they did come by. We had kids in our party and with the food arriving sporadically, half of our party was done eating by the time the rest of the food arrived and some of the kids were beyond starving waiting for their meals. While the concept of this place is neat, and the kids love the games, I don’t think we will be back. Interestingly, when I read the reviews, the management is mostly replying only to positive ones and does not seem to be addressing the negative ones and trying to improve! To me, that says a lot about an establishment when there appears to be a trend ( ie bad service) and it isn’t addressed. I understand how hard it is right now to get staff, but these reviews highlight areas of improvement and training needs that should addressed.

Invited my friends to the new place and booked a table in advance on the upper terrace. There are no questions about hostesses, food and drinks! But the service of the waitress was careless and indifferent. I fully admit that this is not an experienced new employee, but still (sorry, don't remember her name!). Constantly forgot about us: either they carried the ordered beer for a long time or didn't bring plates and cutlery when the hot snacks were already cooling down. After paying the bill, we decided to look at other places in the restaurant. I was surprised when our server caught up with us and brought another glass of beer. We did not ask why (decided that this was a forgotten order). We no longer wanted to drink and eat, and we were ready to leave when the server caught up with us and asked to pay for the beer. An unpleasant surprise! Of course, we paid, but the sediment remained.

My group had a horrible experience here. Our server, Angela Blak, had the worst attitude from the start. Firstly she spilled my drink onto me and unsympathetically said “oh, sorry” and i had to be the one to ASK for napkins because she didn’t offer. Secondly, she ignored our table for long periods of time. Overall she did a bad service. My boyfriend tipped her 5% and rightfully so. Then she had the audacity to go up to me and my friend and say that our boyfriends HAD TO TIP their server because if they don’t SHE has to pay the establishment. As well insulted our boyfriends because they “laughed like little boys” after they paid. She was lucky to even receive 5%. And lastly, she swapped me and my friends bill and made her pay $64, when her bill was supposed to be $14. I don’t know what kind of people this place is hiring, but please train your servers better and tell them tips are EARNED.

I’m new to this area and was looking forward to checking out the rooftop patio. It is very nice, did not disappoint. However we waited about 7 minutes before anyone came to our table. It wasn’t busy. She took our order for drinks and then had to come back with the food menu, another 2-3 minutes. We didn’t wait too long to order. However when the time came that we wanted our bill our server was nowhere to be found. After waiting 10 minutes we went to the bar to get our bill from another server. Ours eventually came. I paid with cash and she didn’t have the correct amount of change, which is not a complaint. She asked her coworkers for change and they were annoyed with her and rude. Young server that just needed guidance I think and not seeing teamwork from the other girls. I recommend ownership/management checking in and correcting the team. Customer service doesn’t seem to exist anywhere anymore.

Good atmosphere, can't wait to try the bowling. KFC slider appetizer was great. Kimchi fried rice brunch item was great. Mushroom burger was fantastic. Prices were okay, seemed typical. Parking lot was very full, not sure why. Will definitely be returning. **Update April 11: have returned two more times. Service remains great. Have now tried the Vietnamese chicken burger. Unfortunately it was bland and fell apart on me. So I will not likely do a repeat. Have now tried wing night. Service was great and prompt. Wing flavors are kind of weird. There is no standard hot wing or teriyaki wing or salt and pepper wing which seem to be the usual offenders, the substitute flavors are similar but didn't satisfy the wing night experience. The first order of wings came out overcooked and felt like I was eating beef jerky. The boneless wings were flawless and tasted great. The last order of traditional bone in wings came out good.

Was just in Aug 27, during the evening. My husband and I came here after supper to have a couple of drinks and to play a game. He ordered a ceaser, and I ordered a pint of beer. Anyway, we paid for the bill using her tablet. After it went through, I see that it was $27 and that was with an 18% tip. Thinking that was very expensive for 2 drinks, I went back and asked to see the bill. She charged him for a DOUBLE ceaser, which was not what my husband ordered. Drink orders need to be taken more seriously. Most people need to drive after they leave. What if I were pregnant or for religious reasons, couldnt have alcohol. Whether it was a mistake or a slimy way to get a larger tip, this wasn't ok. I honestly can't even think of a good reason for her to mess it up... it wasn't loud where we were sitting, my husband isn't a quiet person, it wasn't busy. Don't know if I would come back... this was a frustrating experience.

Great place to have fun in a safe neighbourhood. 4 star rating is because the food quality is mediocre. Wings are cooked dry, salads are often not the freshest (likely due to poor storage/handling protocols) and the pizzas unimpressive. I recommend you go eat at restaurants outside like Big T BBQ, Panago Pizza or Denny’s. Having said that, the atmosphere is really great with the 70s throwback theme and dimmed light on the open rooftop patio. Bowling alleys are accessible to everyone including young children so that’s a big plus for families. Beer selection is decent; mostly craft beer and popular domestic items with limited European beers. I’d really like some polish or Czech lager or Bavarian selections. Overall, I highly recommend this fantastic venue for adults with kids spirit who want to have a little fun with friends.

The Banquet is an upscale Canadian Brewhouse and they do quite a bit better. The food...it is a major step up from the Brewhouse. The wings are amazing, the beet salad might be the best one either of us has ever had. The dressing is light, the beets are firm and taste fresh and the Mesquite bacon is made in-house and very perfectly done. The lettuce wraps have enough sauce with the lemongrass chicken adding a nice flavor. Our server Lisa R was very attentive and was on the ball, not letting us sit empty and made small talk to make us feel welcome. Great job Lisa!!! The atmosphere has something for everyone. Great patio, bowling, games...so fun. However the glitchy TVs were super annoying trying to watch a ball game. Needs fixing. We'll be back!

We happened upon the restuarant after my late MRI appointment. It is often difficult to go out for dinner as I am Celiac and allergic to gluten. My husband was told that "The Banquet" had option for gf however we really didn't know what to expect. To our surprise our waitress was highly educated about gf. We did knot need to ask questions regarding separate fryers and such. It was wing night, and she gave us a couple Menu choices as we wanted fried chicken. She even caught the ranch dip that made it on to my plate by mistake. We intend to make "The Banquet" a monthly visit as I felt so safe. Knowing the kitchen staff understood and respect my allergy means so much

This was my first time in this location. I have been to the one in University District. Arriving inside it said please sear yourself. So we did but we had babies and clearly needed high chairs. It was probably a good 5 minutes of us standing around a table holding a baby and one in the car seat for one of the servers to approach is, before this they were all huddled up by the bar chatting, they also clearly looked at us a few times. Eventually she came over acting like she never saw us then was short and not very nice while taking our drink orders. I felt like we were bothering her and like we intrupted an important conversation with her and her work friends. Food was great though. But avoid this location, go to University District. The service is amazing and I'm never treated like we aren't welcome.

It’s a lot of fun and a great night out. Nice to go to go to something where it feels like you’re downtown….However the service was awful. I’ve been here once before and it was fine but The bar turns into a free for all after 10pm. If you want good service I don’t remember going on a weekend night. Didn’t matter where you went (upstairs or downstairs) you would wait 20 mins for drinks and bills or you wouldn’t get served at all. Granted it was super busy and they were likely at capacity..they should have had more servers. They were all overwhelmed. They weren’t supported and there was no organization. Bathrooms are also awful. For a Friday & Saturday night with single occupant bathrooms (2 guys, 2 girls, 1 family washroom) leads for long lines in a tight space. Definitely not enough bathrooms for a busy bar with 3 floors

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, came here last night with a bunch of friends for some drinks. We sat on the patio and we’re very unfortunate to be served by ANGELA, very rude to us, took 20-30 mins between every round to come back to us, my friend got a shot glass with broken glass in it and literally had glass in her mouth because she didn’t notice it till after, when we told her about it she got upset and told us it would take 20 mins to bring a manager over, that the stairs would take too long to up and down. I manage a restaurant and if one of my servers was to give service like the absolute garbage Angela gave us they would be fired on the spot no question. I would be embarrassed to have such a person work for me. NEVER COME HERE!! And be very wary of people like her.

My husband and I decided to check out the Banquet for Sunday Brunch. We walked through the front door....no staff. Nobody said hi or informed us we could only sit upstairs but we managed to figure it out with zero visible signs. Atmosphere was nice. Great patio! Perfect for a nice warm day. Looked like a fun place with a few games to play and many tables to choose from. Too many babies and kids running around for our liking but some people like that. Our waitress was new and couldn't answer any of our questions about the menu. She had no idea if bowling was 5 pin or 10. But she was new so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. Food was below average. It arrived cold with zero flavor and nothing looked like it was made with care. We likely won't be back.

I have been here 6 times and today was my final time trying this location ,and of all the times it was Father’s Day with my son and partner. Three out of these times there had been very little service or none whatsoever where I’ve had to leave as we have been completely ignored or not helped. Today we waited almost two hours with no food but many offers of drinks. We played the games to try to kill time but our 7 year old couldn’t wait anymore to eat and we couldn’t be late for another commitment for the day. It would have been good if the staff had been transparent that they had no kitchen staff or how long the wait there would be to respect people’s time on Father’s Day. I hope you and your team have more training in such a prime location.

Super fun little place with decent food. The trash can nachos were good - the homemade hot sauce was a little mild, and the queso was good. Our server was Kate the Great and she was super fun, friendly, efficient, and overall, we had a fantastic time. My husband had the fish and chips, and the fish was HUGE. It isn't over battered either so it was a very delicious treat. From, Kate's favourite birthday girlfriend, B!

I was here 2 weeks ago for a party of 15. The food is mediocre. Honestly not great and that's about 5ppl in our party who all ordered something different. I had the KFC sliders which are quite spicy and less crunchy. The deep fried cheese curds were good but presentation lame as looked like someone already ate half of the plate (should put on a smaller plate) The peach ice tea drink I had was supposed to come with peach slices and we got lime and lemon. The pizza was just O.K. The bowling was very unorganized and organized on paper under the wrong name. We waited an hour after our booked time (but we just drank more)However, the DJ played great music and the ambiance was great as well. Our waitress was super friendly and quick. I will be back BUT may eat before I go

Loved the amount of space there is available for seating and the patio looks fantastic although when our group came it was raining and we didn't get to try it out. We came with a work group and although our service was great and the staff were friendly, the food was a-okay. The items that were fried tasted only like fried oil and not much else. I also got a poke bowl which had no flower at all and I've had many poke bowls but this wasn't the best tasting. Also got the banquet burger which tasted like any plain burger, not too unique about it. We also tried bowling which was so much fun! We will definitely come back again for bowling.

Cherry on top our server was sick, she had a runny nose which she cleared with her bare hands and left me thinking “did she washed her hands?” - not only you can get all your staff sick but of course your paying customers. Not sure why food took so long, it wasn’t that busy and the patio was the only floor open, also a million servers… small kitchen? Game selection is slim, specially for the littles (yes I know little ones are not your #1 customer, or perhaps families either? ‍♀️) Would I go back? Nah! Pricey ok food and drinks and not so crazy game selection

Had an amazing experience! Love the vibe and the venue is absolutely beautiful. The staff are nice and friendly. I Was served by Alisha and she went above and beyond to ensure that my experience at the bar was exceptional. She was attentive, quick, and efficient in preparing my drinks, and she made sure that I had everything I needed. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was truly impressive. I highly recommend Alisha as a bartender. Her passion for her craft and her exceptional service make her a true asset to any establishment. I will definitely be returning to the bar where she works, as she has made me a loyal customer. Thank you, Alisha, for an outstanding experience! Five stars all the way!

Hosted a 15+ person dinner here on a weekday night, and the Banquet team was incredibly accommodating and helpful in advance during the booking process. They offered to section off some tables for us, which was really appreciated. The overall atmosphere was a delight. Agatha (I believe that was her name..), our waitress, was super attentive throughout the night along with all the other friendly staff. Food was pretty solid and came out relatively quick considering our table size. Note: this location on Google maps is currently directing people to the McDonald's building nearby. A couple folks got lost on the way ... luckily the building's hard to miss.

This post is for TAKEOUT only. Haven’t experienced dinning in. This was our First time ordering from this new place I was SOO excited. The menu looked great. The poutine sounded amazing. Quebec cheese curds and topped with Boursin cheese YUM…. But what I received was beyond disappointing. I paid 20 dollars plus tip for a box of soggy cold fries. There was next to no cheese and the Boursin was missing completely. On top of that there was not nearly enough gravy. I got maybe an ounce of gravy for that big box. I’ve included a picture of what I received. I’m hoping this was just a one off but none the less… this was very underwhelming and didn’t hype me up to head over there for a dine in experience.

My company had a large event of about 150 people. We rented the basement part and had the burger buffet and drink fountains as well as deep fried mars bars for desert. We got full access to the bowling alleys down there and then moved to the third floor later in the evening for games and appies. The Banquet team was incredible!! They accommodated all our needs and last minute changes. They worked tirelessly to ensure we had everything we needed. Huge thanks to Helen who walked us through the booking and was also on site helping us anyway she could. The food was good, I especially liked the appies. I would definitely book an event here again!

For a new place looking to keep customers they don't seem to care. The staff are nice but have a I don't give a s--t attitude. The wait for food, drinks or any kind of service was non existent. I ordered a double in a short glass and it literally came in a Dixie glass and the prices were higher than I expected but that's a different story. Anyway I don't see myself returning or the group I was with either. Even the people beside and around were all disappointed . Get you act together or you'll be outta business within a year. Good luck on improving your business and your reputation in this community.

We hosted our Staff Appreciation Night here. Helen was amazing to work with! We were about 125 people and she suggested that we rent the basement for the first 3 hours and then move to the top floor for the next 3 hours so people could play games and continue the fun. Everything from the Burger Bar to the Appy Bar and the deep fried Mars bar dessert was fantastic. The servers were fast, efficient and friendly and all of the allergies and food preferences were handled expertly. If you want to give your hard working staff a night they will talk about for a long time (for the right reasons) - you have to go to The Banquet Mahogany.

Family birthday partyn(3 adults on 12 year old) bowling was fun. Ordered chicken wings, poutine, salad rolls and chicken fingers. The food came cold and there was not much taste, The salad roll was good but the chicken came in large pieces too big for the wraps with a small amount of noodles. Usually when you order this dish you ask for more lettuce for the dish but this time there wasn't enough filling to fill what came with the serving. Over priced, sub par food (the whole bar was empty so the chef should have time to prepare properly). Not a place I would spend 150.00 again

The food, server, and environment was great! The place is kid friendly until 9 pm the food was fresh. Our server Sierra was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care . It was a busy Friday night she followed up on our order and didn't just forget about us. She was also able to get us a round of drinking because we had to wait a little longer for our food. Instead of us sitting there wondering oh when our food was coming Sierra went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and taken care of.

Went here for lunch after hearing mixed reviews. I had the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich and my friend had the lettuce wraps. Both meals were a decent portion for the price. They came fast and tasted fresh. I needed more coleslaw for my burger which was not a problem to have it all. Waitress was very attentive and checked back in a few times to make sure we didn't need anything. The patio is quite large and a nice atmosphere. I also love the app and that you get points. I'm still waiting for the free pizza for when you sign up but hopefully it will come soon.

The service is always incredibly slow and the food is sub par. They have been out of the bag of dills for months!! I was also there on Mother’s Day with my kids and not only did the server have any product knowledge but when our food came the kids pizza was burnt. My aus jus was spilt all over my beef dip so I couldn’t even lift it because the bun was so soggy. When I complained the server said she would take care of it but only took $3 off my meal. This place could have so much potential and yet we keep going back because we live in the area but it’s a constant revolving door of poorly trained staff.

Good service and food was amazing. Went for Wing Night and the price was reasonable. The various wings were either a hit or miss with our friends. We pretty much got to all of them minus the All-dressed. Creamy Dill was the best one I found. The upstairs patio looks spacious and very fun to be in. We were short on time and couldn't hang out with their games area, would've tried them out. Only a star off for how windy the evening was. They decided to have the main floor closed but the patio be open.

We went with our family - grandparents and kids. Bowled & ate dinner. The atmosphere was really fun. Loved the lights on the bowling lanes, & there were a lot of tables close by. The lanes were a little close together, but that's my only real complaint. The adults all had the fish & chips - fantastic! 2 large pieces of fish, crispy, not too much breading. I loved the dill tarter sauce. Not everyone in our party felt the same about the tarter sauce, but I loved it. Kids had chicken fingers & fries. Neither one had any complaints

Servers are overloaded and not the best - prepare for half hour waits between service and when we asked our waitress to come back in two minutes she chuckled and said "that's not going to happen". We left after she said that and they missed out on an 8-top having dinner and more beverages. I heard not so great reviews from multiple people and that's exactly what they delivered. Cool concept, but a lack of service won't have me coming back anytime soon. Note: I gave the atmosphere a 3/5 because there were a lot of kids running around at 700pm on a Saturday.

Well that was an awful experience. The whole family went there to enjoy a meal. Slow service, slow drinks, no refills, slow food and worst of all was the drunken couple swearing 75 times a minute around tables of kids. Dirty washrooms, no paper towel, not enough utensils. I have worked in the restaurant business so am very slack when it comes to service. I would avoid this place and head to other pubs in surrounding areas. If simple tasks can't be completed makes you wonder what the kitchen and food preparation is like. Will not ever be back.

Pretty cool spot, there's tons to do here! From the price is right wheel to live entertainment to pinball to bowling and even some tabletop games. I've been a couple times now and tried a few of the menu items and they've all been amazing. Made a reservation for a table and bowling. Food took 40-50 mins when place was maybe half full. One of us ordered fish and chips ended up getting chicken? No quality check done on food. Even though we had a bowling reservation we still had to wait 30 mins for a lane to open. Once a lane opened we were told a server would be with us shortly. 15mins goes by and nothing. So we just walked up to the bar and ordered drinks. Pretty underwhelming and over priced in my opinion. Food was subpar, service was subpar, probably won't go back.

We have been here twice now and both times the food was good but the service isn’t the best. The patio is really nice and the whole theme is pretty cool. The bowling is a nice idea but they have made it a bit too expensive in our opinion. The drinks are good. They could have a better happy hour food menu with a good 4-5$ pint like some of the competitors. We haven’t tried the brunch yet but once we have we will update the review and let you all know what we thought. Overall Banquet is a great addition to the Mahogany community.

Really great experience overall. It did start off a little rocky, Terri didn't see us when we came in, we were sitting a bit hidden away, so we did wait a little while. Once she knew we were there she was delightful and attentive but not annoying. Super cute, bubbly personality and will definitely request her as a waitress next time. Food was phenomenal, I didn't care for how greasy the hash browns were however my husband loved them so ‍♀️. All in all we'll be back.

So we like to go upstairs for the pool, the service up there while the patio is closed is....well...lacking but the beer is cold and normally poured well. The food is often great sometimes less so though. Different cooks is my guess. The staff are friendly but sometimes a bit unresponsive. But even with that we have been here number of times and plan to return because the pool tables upstairs. I don't know of many places in South east with pool that close to us.

First time visiting. Service was a little slow but as we were with friends, it didn't impact us that much. The pizzas are quite small and need more pepperoni, but very good. Banquet is conveniently located in Mahogany. Parking isn’t that great on the weekends. If you’re looking for a more intimate ambiance this isn’t it. It can be extremely loud on the more busier days (of course this could just be based off our preference). However the service is exceptional and staff is very hospitable. On our first visit the food wasn’t the greatest, despite that we will give it another try to get a more reliable assessment of the cuisine.

I'm only harping on the service as the upstairs didn't have servers or a bartender. With all the games up there it would make sense to have someone on staff who didn't mind running up and down the stairs all night... Oh well, i still ended up getting absolutely wasted even without a waitress's help. Food was good judging based on how much time I spent in the bathroom the following day...

Went on a Friday at 5pm. Service was slow. Seemed like there was not enough staff and no management around to help. Food was terrible, steak was rubber. They brought two peoples meals at a time (we had a group of 9). By the time I had gotten my food everyone else finished their meals. Do not recommend unless you are going to have a pint. Also had the deep fried pickles they were good but could have use 10 seconds less cook time but still good. Beer on tap was had good choices. I came on a Tuesday to bowl with some friends and family. It's really busy on Tuesdays. The servers work really hard to get everything out to your table. We were really disappointed in the food, unfortunately. One order of kettle chips was great, the next one, soggy. The wings lack any flavor, and the mushroom caps were bland. The food was mid, that bbq boneless wings flavour was not bussin. If you’re lookin for some bussin food and service, this isn’t the place for it. We paid $80 for a tower of Marguerita and it was over after 4 small glasses (with ice). Definitely not worth it. $20 for a small glass of margarita. Went here for lunch recently and really enjoyed it. I had the Bahn Mi burger and it has a really good portion of chicken, I would definitely order again. I had an issue with my order and initially they didn't do anything but once I spoke to them again, I was really happy with how they handled it. I'll definitely be back

First time there. Great patio on the roof, good selection on tap. Enjoyed a beer on the patio and then went downstairs for bowling with a great group of people. All round fun place with good food and great service.

Came with a group of 35. Food was prompt, drinks were out in a reasonable time, and our server was really attentive. I’d stick to cans instead of mixed drinks there. Food was really good.

WOW! The food was absolutely delicious - I will definitely be making the drive from Cochrane again. The waitress we had was funny and provided great service. There is a great vibe, without it being too noisy.

They don't have enough staff to cover. So, it is very slow service. I've eaten there once, but just like The Brewhouse...I eat elsewhere. Bowling is very fun. Shorter lanes but great little games.

Went to a 50th birthday party. Our party was big. Our server was Cassie in the basement/bowling alley. She was excellent. Very attentive and personable. The food was also great. I had the sushi tacos and the Mars Bar dessert.

Absolutely amazing service from Cherise! She was so sweet, super knowledgeable about the menu (especially the gluten free side- my friend is a celiac) and just a fantastic server. Will be back!

We have gone a few times now and the service has been amazing, the food and drinks have also been delicious! Our last time in we had a large group and Angie was on everything for everyone with great recommendations! The atmosphere makes it feel like a community local!
