**My response to the owners response is below my initial review.** We had my partner's birthday here on July 30th and unfortunately had an awful experience. The manager on duty was incredibly rude and pushy, no music played the entire time and even though there were no reservations after us we were not allowed to finish the 2 frames left in our games. The large group (I believe there were about 18 of us of all ages ranging from 1 - 70) were all buying food and drinks and spending a lot of money at this establishment. We were all well behaved and there was absolutely zero reason for us to have been treated so poorly by most of the staff. We would have loved to have stayed and played more games and bought more food and drinks but the attitude of the staff, mostly the manager, made us never even want to come back let alone stay another hour. Very unfortunate and disappointing experience. I also see that a review done by another person in our party has either been deleted or hidden, which is incredibly sketchy and unprofessional. Bad business all around. **Response to owner: Very interesting response. The music was not playing at a reasonable volume until the very end when one of the guests from our group asked for it to be turned up. This is a very minor issue and I find it hilarious that it's the main one you've chosen to stand up to. We had 15 bowlers. We were told by your staff that each lane was a maximum of 6 bowlers so with that logic we had to have 3 lanes. We paid for 3 full lanes, whether we had 18 bowlers or not. Ontop of the 15 bowlers we had another 5 guests not bowling who bought full meals and beverages. We had a total of 20 guests. You must be looking at a different group. There were actually a multitude of things you could have done to rectify this situation and you have chosen not to. Even a sincere apology would have sufficed. This tell me everything I need to know about how you run a business and why your staff is so horrendous. In this day when businesses are struggling due to covid I am shocked at how this situation has been handled and definitely wish we had spent our money somewhere that has proper business practice and where they are kind.

I booked a birthday party for my child here. My booking got messed up (I’m unsure if it was my fault or theirs) and it turned out I had only booked two lanes for bowling and not the birthday party package which should include some pop, pizza and a party room. I discovered this 4 days before the party so no big deal right? I spoke with a manager there to try and straighten it out and she was miserable to deal with. I asked if I could just add the pop, pizza and room and of course I’d pay the difference. At first she said they couldn’t add the pizzas without 5 days notice. I said “really? You can’t get pizza together in 4 days? Can I bring my own?” She said no outside food allowed but she would try to organize the pizza but it would be an extra $28 each and fountain pop is $8.50/jug. I’m like ok I need to have it. I asked how much for the room. She said the room was under renovation and unavailable so we could eat at the lanes. Ok fine. One guest to the party unexpectedly brought their brother. They wouldn’t let me rent shoes for him without renting a whole extra lane we didn’t need. Another $78. All in all I paid about $565 dollars for two hours with 11 kids. The manager was surly at every turn. Also the pizza was foul. The cheapest possible frozen pizzas. I feel ripped off and mistreated. Lanes were fine though. Edit: I did write an email to them as suggested in their reply. A month later they have not responded.

Very nice facility, great atmosphere and it feels like you’re stepping back in time as you descend the stairs into the alley. Unfortunately same can’t be said of the staff. Me and my friend waited an hour and 30 mins (from 7:00 to 8:30 pm) on a ‘waiting list’ for one of the lanes. We were assured the wait would be only around 45 mins, and based on that we decided to stay and wait it out. If we knew otherwise we would have gladly spent the limited free time we have in our week somewhere else. At no point while we were waiting within sight of the counter were we approached by staff or given any updates. I had to approach twice, and wasn’t even offered an apology or explanation for the wait. Customer service goes a long way in my book, and sadly this place fell incredibly short of expectations. I understand that some nights are busier than others, that’s the nature of an entertainment venue. All I was expecting was a simple update midway, or an explanation/apology for the wait. Edit: I forgot to post this update earlier, but I was contacted by the manager shortly after posting this review and he offered a full refund for the evening. I really appreciated his openness and the gesture and I have returned to bowl since.

I had a wonderful experience with my family at Mountain View Bowl. We've been apprehensive to take our toddler out many places due to the Pandemic, but we opted to go bowling and found it to be incredibly safe feeling. When we were greeted, the staff told where our lane was located and that we could take off our masks once we sat down and started to bowl. There was plenty of distance between ourselves and the families next to us. While we were there, we witnessed the staff thoroughly clean the lanes and every surface/seat next to us in preparation for the next bowlers. We also witnessed them cleaning the stairway banisters and the desk front surfaces. To order food, we were told to simply press the service button and a masked waiter came right to our lanes to take our order. Bowling here felt like a very safe, fun, family activity and we will certainly be back again as the weather gets colder. Make sure to pre-book your lane to so you can ensure there is a spot saved for you.

I would book your bowling trips elsewhere. I went a couple days ago with a group of four at around 9PM and the man at the counter had told us that we were allowed only one game, due to the place closing early because of "lack of business". Their store hours had stated they were set to close at 11PM. The other staff members were trying to make an exception but ultimately, he had the final say. He requested that we were able to buy more games if we split our group of four into pairs, but that doesn't make any sense at all. How does being in pairs make it any different if we were in a group? They reject service to customers WILLING to pay for more games, which is ridiculous. Maybe the reason why you aren't getting good business is because you're rejecting customers service during store hours so you can head out early for the day. Would not recommend.

I would give zero out of five if I haven't loved this place in the past. Unprofessional experience. We came to mountain view bowling because we could not establish a reservation at national. We were made to feel unwelcome from the beginning. Once we were half way through our bowling game we were told we were no longer welcome and no longer welcome to order from the bar. Not once were we able to order from the bar and the manager, Brett, did not allow us to order whatsoever from the establishment. He was a complete dillhole on a total power trip. The 4 of us had shared ONE bottle of wine at dinner previously and he assumed we were intoxicated when we walked in. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be back until the owner replaces the management.

  • Hareem Shahnawaz (Diya Khurram)

Staff is extremely rude and unfriendly. LOIS is the worst who has courage to insult and embarce a kid directly in front of everyone instead of talking to parents. Lois made our supposed be fun time full of uncomfortable conversations and full of embarrassment. I hope they learned some better customer service skills and try to be kind atleast to kids. As their rude behavior can effect someone this much that they write a review in midnight as person can't believe someone can be this much ignorant and embarce children in front of everyone and laugh with other colleagues to show off. Remember children have self respect too Lois. Your behavior can cause loss of confidence in a kids which a parent has build after lots of hardwork. Good luck in your life ahead.

Update: Usually i am very easy to be pleased. The management replied to my review and indicated of upcoming improvements. I really like someone at least acknowledging and letting us know of good things and bad things. Not that a single review will make a difference but it's a 4 star for management's acknowledgment . Original review: We usually enjoy our trips to this local place which is like 5 min drive from our home. Original reciew: Customer service is not superior but ok. Balls are not well maintained....lots of scratches. Food choice is a usual....pizza, nachos, fries, etc. For a night out of decent fun with family, this is an ok place.

  • Nathalie Babineau

Meh. I would not recommend booking this place for a group event unless you have full commitment from everyone. It was also quite expensive. (Worked out to just $50 a person for a group of 10. Bowling shouldn't be that expensive!!) Our group had a good enough time, but checking in was painful (they wanted the names of everyone who wasn't there yet?) And having people pay for shoes as they arrived seemed to be a monumental request. They wanted me to pay for them when I checked in...after I'd already told them I didn't know how many people were going to show up.

Aaahhh i was so excited to come here. The retro 90's bowling aesthetic was everythinggg. Although we gave a big fat juicy tip, from the moment me and the gang pulled up over here it was just giving bad vibez. These bombastic staff log had the audacity to side eye us, roll their eyes and overall make us feel unwelcome with their lack of basic decency. Lowkey tho it was bc of our race. Us brownies in this flour ppl area was NOT it. Anyways you guys need to babarahmatullah and skidaddle away from this place. Their customer service is flabbergastingly atrocious.

Owner/manager needs to work on customer service and train his staff members. There is a way to talk to people gently. If we’re doing something wrong no need to threaten to kick us out. You can ask “please if you don’t mind.” Place is run down old never been renovated same place from 20 years ago. If your going to charge $200 for an hour for two lanes Atleast work on your customer service and place. We enjoyed ourselves since we went out for family time. Just didn’t feel welcome. Grumpy staff members. Save your dollar and go to let’s bowl where the price is cheaper better ambience and atleast the staff smile and are polite

  • Sam Huang

Came here on a Sunday because my son had a birthday party that he was invited to that was here. Him and his friends had a couple of lanes booked on the 5 pin side. Since there were some parents there some of us decided to go on the 10 pin side and bowl a few games. I used to come here as a little kid and it was very nostalgic coming back. It was very retro and they had lights dimmed. Place while old was very clean. Kids enjoyed bowling and the party room. The concession side was very diner like which I love. Everyone enjoyed their time. Lanes and balls were well maintained. Will definitely have to come back.

  • Haley Dawn Marie

Absolutely terrible experience with cruel staff. It was requested given that one of us had a medical exemption that we could be seated at our lane, while the other completes payment, etc. This was rejected, and they insisted upon us purchasing one of their masks. As a healthcare worker, I told them that they are NOT PERMITTED TO ASK FOR ANYONE'S MEDICAL INFORMATION and that by indicating a medical exemption and showing a letter, it should be honoured. Unbelievably cruel and disturbing- get educated. This incident completely ruined our evening and we will NEVER return. Do not go here.

  • Jenessa Quong

This is usually my go to bowling place but the last few times ive gone, the staff had told us that we can only do one or two games because they decided to leave early because there were no customers. My most recent visit, upon entering the manager behind the desk did not greet us and seemed annoyed that we came in, and refused to give us more than one game even though we showed up 2 hours before close and was he very rude about it. No wonder theres no customers, theyre turning them all away. Unfortunately we will be looking for a new bowling place as we’re obviously unwelcomed here.

  • James Duncan Johnson

Loved it!!!! Great atmosphere, nice folks, good food. One thing: the sign indicating where the lanes are located is impossible to see from the parking lot and surrounding streets. Unless you’ve been there before, there’s no way to tell there’s a bowling alley there. It’s like it’s a speakeasy or something... I had to go to a convenience store to ask where the lanes are. The girl laughed because she gets asked this all the time. Where’s the advertising for the lanes so that people can see from the streets and parking lot that there’s actually a bowling alley under the strip mall?!

  • Roman Schuster

Cool spot with retro grotto vibe, lanes are old but look well maintained (10 pin at least). Person behind the counter was nice and saved me some cash by recommending I pay by game and not by hour. -1 star because they decided to close a half hour early the day I went so I could only get in 1 game (3 people) despite showing up more than an hour before the posted closing time. They also wouldn't sell me a bottle of beer more than one hour before posted close because the "kitchen was closed" lol. To be fair they say hours are subject to change on the sign, but still disappointing.

  • Kris Tanaka

Terrible business. Our friend booked a reservation for his birthday months in advance. He put a $500 deposit for four lanes and when our group of 20 people showed up, they not only didn’t have any of the lanes, the assistant manager suggested to him that he booked at the wrong bowling alley. It wasn’t until our friend showed him a receipt that he apologized, but then said there was nothing he could do. Shrugged his shoulders and just offered to refund the deposit. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Really great atmosphere! It’s a themed bowling alley, perfect to take Instagram photos! I’ve only ever been here once, during the pandemic and they clean everything from the seats to the bowling balls! They let your party play on every other lane for social distancing. Staff seems nice, but we weren’t able to interact with them much aside from check in (you can reserve). There’s also a little eating area. The scoreboard/tv interface is really outdated though, the graphics are probably circa early 2000s… but if you have good company, you’ll still have a lot of fun here!

  • A Pie

I love the actual bowling lanes here and it's my first pick in Calgary. HOWEVER, the service is questionable and sometimes snarky, the food is okay, and it's expensive. I love that they have 5 and 10 pin lanes and I generally have a blast with my friends. The less you have to interact with the staff the better. Most of them are not kind or helpful and my whole friend group is from the service industry and go out of their way to be very nice to other service people. It's clearly a culture thing at this establishment because it's been the same for over a decade.

  • Annelie Miazga

I would like to give this place no stars. We came on family day probably the busiest day of the year. We were lucky and got a lane right away. We ordered food immediately and ended up waiting for over a hour. The table next to us received a gift card from the manager for their next visit. I intercepted the manager and shared our experience. He said “oh the kitchen is still backed up, good you got your food”. I asked if we’d be compensated like the table next to us. He said no. I replied I’m glad to see you treat all Your customers fairly and the same.

  • Daniel Bell

Must of caught the lady at the front desk on a bad day as she was very rude! Had to get both our lanes reset at beginning of game, some points were not added correctly. Then when we had 5 minutes left I asked for 5 more minutes to finish the last round to finish the game. She was completely rude and told me sorry nothing she can do. I went there for family fun and left leaving bitter because of the poor customer service!

Super fun place to go bowling! The prices are really quite good and it's so much fun. The 5 pin is awesome and the 10 pin looked really professional. They seem like they have alot of teams that play there so it can get quite busy, but don't let it intimidate you because there are tonnes of people there to just have fun. The food however was questionable and I would skip it and just go to the Richmond's pub across the parking lot. Food was below average and I would just stick with pop and drinks.

  • Sara Postle

The bowling itself was great - well maintained and retro. However the staff was very rude, my family had just opened the door and when the lady working yelled at us to take our boots off. She didn’t say hello, rushed us though to pay and write our names down. My 5 year old daughter asked why she was mad at us. From the reviews I can see that this must have been a one off. However with paying $160 for one lane of bowling and to be treated very poorly - I will be going elsewhere next time.

  • carm mw

First time here for a bday party, with little kids who most is there first time bowling. Guy comes up aggressively saying he had complaints about the kids. So angry towards me for little kids all under 5!. So the so Called Adults could of came up to us and let us know the kids were in their lane instead of going to the Angry Boy! Do Not recommend this place at all. So angry towards me a Woman of color, but yet to my husband he was so polite and not yelling

  • Ichiban Noodles

Nice and quaint place to bowl 5 or 10 pin. The bookings can all be done online. Quick and painless, and the customer service is pretty good so far. We use to go to YYC bowling, and the guys there aren't the friendliest in town. Also they don't take same day bookings like MVB does. Hopefully MVB will be our new weekly bowling home. They can also print out your scores at the end. This is very helpful, as we have a friendly competition amongst us 7 bowlers.

  • Dan Miller

This is a good bowling alley with a 5-pin alley on one side and a Ten Pin Alley on the other side. They have a bar in a small restaurant in the middle. The rental shoes are clean and new and the alleys are clean. The lanes are oiled and it was a fun atmosphere. Friday nights they turn off the lights and use the black lights for glow in the dark. I'm not a pro bowler but I had fun. I had to take off one star because it was so expensive

  • Sam Grace

Super fun place. Retro style, has a 'drive-in' style restaurant (food is actually pretty good, mostly fried) and bar (even has some local beers to cho0se from), lots of different size bowling balls, and being able to chose between 5-pin and 10-pin is great. It's usually not very busy, however you can call ahead and reserve a lane too. Staff are friendly and funny. It's a good old bowling alley, and you can't really ask for much more.

  • Vanja Cingel

Nice place, friendly staff, makes for a great night of fun for couples, families, friends, or whatever your mood. Most importantly, feels clean, although it is not new. Can host birthday parties as well. Food quality is as expected for a place like this - about the same as any fast food joint, but that's quite ok. Price of bowling per person is about $10 per person per game, so it's not terrible. All in all, will visit again.

  • Kathy Chiu

It’s great for a kid’s birthday party if you get one of their birthday party packages. If not, the glow bowling is still fun enough for younger kids who are 5 and under. The music might be too loud for some people but it’s clean overall. They also have delivery service from their restaurant area with a decent /affordable menu. We paid $22 ( group rate) for a family of four which included shoe rentals and had 3 hours of fun!

  • Pikiniki B

Went Saturday afternoon at 1ish in July. 30 degree outside. No one bowling but us. Felt completely ripped off. Told us it was higher $ because the lights were off and it was glow bowling. Which isn't suppposed to even be during the day. Website said evening only. Don't give you receipt or good explanation. Not sure we would go back! Could have bought the Groupon for 8 and paid less than for us 2 adults and 1 kid.

  • Mitchell Aitken

Super fun place to go bowling for not a bad price! I've been going here for a while on my own as well as my Phys Ed class and it's always a good time. As far as the bowling goes, it's well kept and tidy. The pins take a little longer to set up comparing the other bowling alleys but not brutally slow. Their food is pretty standard for what you'd expect, nothing extraordinary but still very good. Highly recommend!

  • Davinium Customs

2.5 stars. 5-pin was fun; we paid for an hour and got two solid games in. We made a reservation for 10-pin and paid for half an hour. Paying by the game wasn’t an option. On the ten pin, the shot animations and pin setup was sluggish, and we didn’t have time to finish one game due to the slow in-between. Drinks were accessible but expensive. Overall not a bad time, but I really wish the ten pin was better.

  • Nick Fraser

I arrived at bowling alley and was greeted by a very un friendly lady. She was not helpful at all in helping our family. I had to make suggestions to allow us to bowl. When spending this kind of money for bowling you should receive decent service. Maybe she had a bad sleep. If you’re not happy where you work change it!!

The smaller basement bowling alleys are always the best, it has that comfy cozy atmosphere to it, and it is clearly a family run business. Calgarians.should support family run businesses more, Instead of going to all those chains. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I am bringing my kids here! And having a blast everytime. I Hope this bowling alley stays here for a long time!

  • dom rose

awesome place to bowl, been here a couple times and theres always been great staff. the lanes are good and the prices aren’t bad. the whole place has a cool vibe to it, sometimes they turn off the main lights and just use the coloured ones and it makes the place look really cool. theres also a restaurant inside the building, so if you get hungry while bowling you can grab a bite to eat.

  • 3nitï 6lïnkz

Good bowling alley, gives off early 90s vibes other than the modern tunes being played to mask it a little bit. I personally think the food and drinks were overpriced compared to other bowling alleys. Also not wheelchair accessible so be prepared to use the stairs. All round good experience.

Glitchy lanes! Poor customer service! We had lane 15, it was glitchy. The electronic score keeping misrecorded my scores about 4 or 5 times in the 2 games we played. The pin set up machine also set up the wrong number of pins several times. The second time I complained I was told that there was "only 21 minutes left anyway", the insinuation being that I should just put up with it.

  • Alex Horne

They have a really nice bowling alley. Been going there to bowl since I was a kid. 1 side is 10 pin and the other is 5 pin. They both have the option for dark disco vibe and bumpers for the kids. Went recently for a Christmas party and got to try their food for the first time. Staff was super friendly but the pizza was very sub par. Would've rather had a frozen Delissio pizza...

  • Erica Mack

A bit more than just an average bowling alley. Retro style, which is cool! A little overpriced, but the equipment is in great condition. It's clean and there's also great food for a low price. They even serve it to you! The staff are nice; they let my friend do his homework in their alley. It's a nice, peaceful little retro-styled alley that I certainly recommend.

  • Carmello B

Great bowling alley, lots of fun to go to. 5 pin and 10 pin available. Can usually always get a lane right away unless there is a birthday party. Staff have been there a long time, some of the staff are not the most customer orientated. They are mean or rude by any means. But who cares, most the time you are bowling. My favorite bowling alley in the city by far.

  • David Williams

I booked four lanes for a party of 20 approximately one month before my bowling date on November 18th, 2023. When I showed up the lanes I had booked where given to someone else and no suitable explanation was provided. Unacceptable customer service and I would not recommend booking large groups here.

5 and 10 pin bowling, plus cash-only diner-style concession ( you can use cards to pay for bowling), beer available (thank goodness). Fun place to take your kids, if you like bowling. Fairly expensive...2 games for four people will be over 65 bucks, not including concession....It's a bowling alley, OK? I rolled a 162 last time i visited, just FYI

Highly don't recommend this place for whoever is planning to come here. I wish i could give this place no stars. The place has a disgusting smell as soon as you walk into it. The owner/ manager and his employees are completely unprofessional and on top of that they were giving us dirty looks the entire time that my group and I were there.

  • Nick Pearce

Have been going here for the last couple months now, would not recommend if you are looking for a good night out. Staff aren't very friendly or helpful whatsoever. Lately, they have been closing about an hour or two early claiming that the alleys weren't busy enough when they clearly were all full. Would not recommend.

  • Tori

It's a very big cool underground place. Decent prices, smells like bowling alley. Not usually busy but if you go on Friday or Saturday night you might be waiting a while. A little out of date, needs renovations but what can you expect from a bowling alley. I don't believe there is glow in the dark but I could be wrong

  • Olga Courtnage

The bowling part was great. Kids enjoyed it a lot. We were there for a team event with a out 6-8 kids. The staff lady made the experience less enjoyable...like not letting go us have a pitcher of water because it's "dangerous". True story. One of us had a bad day. Other than that it's a fun place for group activity.

  • Tea S.

Not sure why there’s a tipping option for buying a game ? Feels like a cash grab and the food was stupid overpriced. Spent $70 for two games and some fries and chicken strips( they come separately). The staff wasn’t very kind and overall it felt like an overpriced experience for very subpar service, food and drinks.

  • Samad Rahmatullah

A blast from the past. Food is seriously over priced and bowling can also be a bit expensive if you go on a weekend during the day. They have a night or two a week where the price comes down quite a bit. Service is good and the I've never had a problem with the lanes or the equipment. You can play 5 or 10 pin here.

  • grant I

Had a great time played 2 games of ten pin? 5 pin is also avalible. We called ahead for a reservation, as it is a busy place and also has league play on some nights. Good smaller rooms that can be booked for private events birthdays ect. Bar and grill are cash only, there is a bank machine on site.

  • Jake

Good place , like the oldies feel to it sad to hear they sold there jukebox , that's a huge part of retro . Need to get another one , prices were a little higher than expected especially for shoe rentals ... food was tasty though . Also was clean and tidy . Overall we quite enjoyed our time there.

  • Tyler Rowe

Outside looks like a dive but once you get downstairs the alleys are well kept. Was not overly busy but obviously busy enough to keep maintained. They had 5 pin and 10 pin. Concession was a little expensive for what you got. Beer was cold and a decent price. Would definitely come back here again.

  • Chelsey Patrick

My friends and I had a great time here! The food and drink offerings were diverse for a bowling alley, and even though we had a large booking the staff was very organized. The place was clean and had a retro feel to it. We did the ten pin bowling and we all had a blast- I can't wait to go back!

  • Adam J

I had quite the bizarre experience here. Showed up for some drop in bowling during the day and the guy at the counter was like "lanes are only available at 9pm". It was 4pm on a Sunday when I showed up and it was quite evident that there were empty lanes so not really sure what the deal was.

  • Jay Raii

Went to this place on the weekend, thought we would drop in. Really bad mistake very unfriendly staff rude very unfriendly. Ordered over priced Nachos and found hair in the cheese. Over priced games, debit machine asked to tip for a 1 hour bowling game. I’ll give you a tip avoid this place.

  • Anna Doubinets

Celebrated our daughter's birthday today. Big thanks to Maddie, we were unorganized, a lot of people were late so had to do and redo the list of names. She was so patient and helpful ! Everyone was nice and understanding with our rowdy bunch of kids definitely recommend!! …

  • Lubo Plaskon

Overpriced food - $28 for small frozen pizza, $30 for terribly over salted chicken wings. The machines kept jamming on both lanes we booked, even the one they moved us to. The girls behind the bar were nice and friendly, that's the only positive experience.

Every time I go it is busy. That’s usually a sign that a place has a good handle on supply and demand. It’s suitably retro without feeling kitchy, with old fashioned soda bottles and so on. The nearby deli and bakery are almost as important to visit as the lounge or the restrooms.

  • Kyle Mahadeo

A great date spot! My girlfriend and I were going to check out a movie but we had some time to kill before our showtime. Located conveniently close to the movie theatre this was an excellent spot to start our date night. We ended up having more fun bowling then at the movie.

  • Carina Kwok

We came for five pin bowling early on a weekday. It was quiet, with only two lanes taken up on the ten pin side. The staff member was nice, welcoming us and getting us set up. The snack bar has a good amount of choices. There are a few party rooms and a couple arcade games.

  • Brad R

We had a great time bowling at Mountain View. The facility is spotless clean, well organized and accommodates all ages and skill levels. We had a great time with our three year old. Definitely a safe and fun family venue!

This is a great bowling alley! Maybe the best one in Calgary?! I mean, they have 10 pin and 5 Pin bowling! They serve all kinds of food and drink. They have a full kitchen and a full bar. This is in all right place for the family and an excellent place for the adults!

  • Christina P

This place is super fun. Great for the whole family. We did 5-pin on a Friday evening and there was room for us. The staff was so nice. Food is standard diner food - what's nice is they deliver it right to your line after you order. We will definitely come again.

  • Shakeel Awan

Staff was rude specially ladies at the counter don't know anything about customer service. To yell at customer is something that is way too much. We were a big group with kids didn't want to ruin our fun by arguing with staff. Never coming back here again.

  • Rod Agatep

Had a ton of fun here. Took my niece and nephew. The staff after super friendly and had a great time with my family. Felt really safe here as they used every second lane and cleaned each area and the balls when groups were done. Great covid protocols.

  • Michael Ireton

Always good fun. They offer 5 and 10 pin bowling. The staff are friendly and cheerful. It's bowling, so it's pretty loud, but that's just fine. Beer is available, so yay! They even have size 14 bowling shoes for people like me with Sideshow Bob feet.

  • Kristine

The place got a really cool retro vibes to it. Customer service is a hit and miss. Some days they’re friendly and accommodating but most, they’re rude and grumpy. Price is decent though. CON: it’s not wheelchair accessible, steep flight of stairs.

  • Mark Griffith

Terrible customer service. Worker with the orange Broncos hat was very rude and should probably find another career path because we could tell he didn’t want to be there and he took that out on us. Fun bowling but everything is pretty overpriced

  • Fifi

By far one of the worst bowling experiences ever. Don’t go here, although the aesthetic is half decent, the staff is very unfriendly and will ruin your experience. There are many other places that will give you a better and cheaper experience.

  • Geeta Marie

Worst bowling alley I have ever been to. Staff were extremely disrespectful and rude regarding masking policy; ruined the whole experience for my family. They were not interested in providing appropriate customer service. Very disappointing.

  • Kaela Caron

Love coming here! Weekdays it's pretty quiet so we got the corner to ourselves. The food was really great and there is always a friendly face at the front door. Looking forward to coming back with my family and friends again for 10 pin.

  • Daniel Sander

Honestly. I had a great time. It's what you would expect from a bowling alley aesthetically. Service was prompt and prices were reasonable. Whole place is licensed which makes it great for a night out with friends. Highly recommended!

  • Ethan Phillips

Bowling is obviously good can't really review that. But the staff have gotta be the grumpiest group of people I have ever met. They seem to be inconvinced by there costumers and give you simple one word answers to your questions.

  • Patrisha Bergeron

This place is great! Awesome stuff! Love that you can play 5 pin or 10... Food was good as well. We'll be going back for sure

Love this place! The new prices are awesome too! We miss the music. Please bring back Sirius XM - we like Road trip radio #301 as it is a fun mix to sing along to and helps with our bowling score! Wednesday 5 pin league!!

  • Jesse van Blokland

Great place to bowl has that retro feel with furniture and how the space is set up. There's plenty of seating around. They offer 5 pin and 10 pin bowling. It's a great place to host a party or have a family night out!

5 of us bowled at Mountain View Bowl for ONE HOUR on March 9th. Including bowling shoes rental the total price was $93.90. In my opinion this is an insane price for bowling and we won't return until the price drops.

  • Maira Sadaf

The staff at the counter were really rude and unfriendly. Tbh gave racist vibes - we will not be returning to this place ever again. Staff were also really harsh to first time players that didn't know any better.

  • Jonathan Brown

Mountain View Bowling took really good care of my son's soccer team. The owner provided a tailor made package for our group and once there the staff were empowered and accommodating. The kids had a great time.

  • Victor Law

This is an old school bowling alley (but they all probably are, eh?) located in the basement of the plaza. There's no wheelchair-friendly anything option, ie. elevators, automatic doors, and washrooms.

  • Kevin Johnson (Kevbo)

Had a birthday there. They were super helpful .made it great for our group . It was a great time for all of us

David was awesome, he got us our drinks promptly, helped reset our lane, and took photos for my girlfriend and I at the end! Overall the place itself is amazing as well as the rest of the staff!

  • Taylor Crossley

Terrible. Called in advance to make a reservation and they told us it wasn't needed - showed up they refused to let us bowl. Absolutely brutal, drive anywhere else to go bowl besides here.

  • Paul Jacobs

The lanes were 'retro' which is fine. A couple of craft beers in bottles. Friendly staff. Could do with some gluten-free food options apart from nachos. Overall a pleasurable experience.

  • Ralph Meyer

It was excellent. It was our first visit to Bowling in a year. Covid 19 preps were in place and followed. We were allowed to remove masks while bowling. Thank you for an excellent time.

  • zubia shakeel

Really bad experience. Employers were racist and they were yelling at us. We will not be returning.

Pretty decent place to spend an hour w there with the family. Only reason I gave it a 3 star instead of a 5 star is the friendliness is not there with 100% of the staff it’s a 50/50.

  • Chris Davis

Bowling never gets old. Mountain View has the perfect classic Bowling atmosphere. It's one of the few things my teenager will agree to do (with no attitude). Always a great time.

  • Roezell Riggs

I absolutely love mountain view bowling. I always have a great experience. My last one, my group of 14 people were running late and they were OK with it. Great service and price!

  • Jordyn Smith

Standard bowling alley. Both ten and five are fun. A bit more expensive than I was expecting so we go on the cheap nights now. Stairs are difficult and steep downwards to get in.

  • Zachary “bizzieBoi” Webster

Very fun for friends and family, for get togethers or parties. Also great friendly staff and not to expensive. They offer 5 pin or 10 pin and also glow in the dark bowling.

  • Alexia Hamilton

Lots of fun! The energy is amazing and absolutely will pump you up! I haven't had a chance to try their food but it smells good. They also play some really good music too!

  • Thomas Clarke

One of the staff members accused us of throwing a ball while he was fixing our pins. We were confused because we didn’t do anything and he was especially rude about it.

  • Jordan Hodgins

The price is pretty good, both 5 and 10 pin bowling, kind staff, my only problem was how it was a little busy, however the do serve beer so that makes up for it :)

  • Kammryn Dancy

Fun place to bowl, feels very classic. Not the most expensive place but it can be a little pricey. $44 for two people to play 2 games of ten pin with shoe rental.

  • Chinedu Ezekwe

Friendly staff. Chilled place. Not aesthetically the best but you've come to bowl and it has that nicely. Steep steps to get in though, watch your steps.

  • SUP DOCTOR

This is a good alley. Expensive rates, but it is clean and the balls/shoes are in really good condition. Fun on Friday nights for glow in the dark bowl.

  • Rajdeep Kaur

Today Went with family for bowling, staff very rude, don't know how to talk with customers. We felt unwelcome as well as don't want to visit again

  • Ian Humphreys

Make sure they book you on the day you asked for. Otherwise they would gladly refuse a refund. Overpriced either way.
