Went there whilst on holiday with my two children and Mum. The kids pancakes were great but when the two adult meals arrived, both with scrambled eggs, our meals were stone cold. When I raised with the waitress she politely took them both away but returned very quickly with the exact same meals, evident by toast I had eaten one bite out of. They had obviously microwaved the whole plate. Both plates of scrambled eggs and bacon were still cold, the eggs tough and rubbery. Even when the plates were first given to us the scrambled eggs looked dry so I suspect they had been Pre-made. When paying we were not asked how our meals were so I politely again raised what had happened. There was no apology or offer of discount/refund with the waitress thanking me for the feedback. We will not be back nor will my parents who live not too far away. Bad service and two out of four bad meals.

After reading the other reviews it sounds like i'm not reviewing the same place. But here goes we were just passing through and looking for somewhere to have breakfast and saw there was no one in this place so i said to my partner lets stop here we will be served quick.Hugh mistake 2 cappuccino's where was the coffee it looked like dirty milk. They have no idea how to make a coffee and at $4.50 a cup what a rip off.i had the farmers breakfast over cooked eggs burnt bacon overcooked mushroom the only thing that was nice was the toast and the Sausage. my partner had a vegetarian Really where did you learn too cook over cooked eggs baked beans from a can Really we could have done that at home.We both felt sick all day.

This little gem is the best kept secret in the Fleurieu! Sondrine and Tarek are from France and the authenticity shows. This lovely young couple took over at La Terre early this year (2015) and have continued the fabulous coffee tradition with the most beautiful, true to type simple french cuisine. You can sit and enjoy hearing French being spoken too as Sondrine chats with various customers trying out their varying skills in the language. The flavours are wonderful, the food fresh and the preparation first class. Honestly you will think you have died and gone to cafe heaven! My favourites: truffled eggs, the cocotte, and fish of the day, whatever that happens to be!

have often dropped in for their coffee and usually take away large mugs of strong steaming cappuccinos. However always promising myself I would return for their authentic French Onion Soup. Magnifique! They also have a fairly small French cafe restaurant, great small cakes, biscuits and croissants. Imported teas that can also be bought and WONDERFUL coffee. I have also tried their affogato, citrus tarts and biscuits - beautiful. And lastly the ambience is an old shop with similar furnishings and wood fire. So easy to sit there and sip coffee all day. Wine list is limited but very pleasant. Jen Hanna has achieved a wonderful little hopefully authentic French cafe.

Friendly staff, nice cafe & location. Full menu list for gluten-free food - an absoloute delight to someone who is gluten-free it definetly makes the experience easier and quicker. Good prices. Food was nice portion and well done. Salad wasn't over done with dressing. A great little cafe.

They were helpful and accomodating. Checked sauces to ensure they met my dietry needs and were overall super helpful and nothing seemed too hard for them. :)

What a find!!!! My wife and I stumbled on this little gem whilst on holidays. We both commemted afterwards that the coffee was amazing. I think it would be some of the best coffee we've ever had. Flavour was remarkably good. Large generous mugs, made piping hot as I'd asked. Unfortunately we didnt have time for a meal but saw some delicious looking meals coming out of the kitchen. In closing, the atmosphere is cosy and so much character, and charm, only matched by the remarkably warm and engaging manner of the two owners who should be very proud of what they've created. It really is a special place.

I really, really wanted to love this cafe… the details just didn’t deliver. My gluten free bun was sickly sweet for some reason? The pot of tea was just a single tea bag inside a teapot, not loose leaf or anything quality. My partners eggs Benedict had a single slice of what looked like cheap pre packaged deli ham. The ambience is so lovely… I wanted to love it but just couldn’t.

The gluten free substitutions were poor, unfortunately.

Friendly staff, and meals came out fairly quickly. I wasn't happy with my coffee though. Here's what I got when I googled "how to make a long black": 1 Grab a medium sized cup. 2 Pour in hot water from the tea spout on your espresso machine. ... 3 Pour a double shot of espresso directly onto the water. 4 If appearance is important serve immediately to maintain the crema. I would add to that: • Not too much water. You don't need to fill it to overflowing, that just dilutes the double shot. • Yes, a _double_ shot.

Had a lovely experience at Terre Cafe. I was absolutely stoked that they had a comprehensive gluten free menu! So exciting! Husband had the beef burger and i had the GF brekky burger. Both were delish. Coffee was great and the lady who served us was very friendly. Will visit again when we are next in th area. Thank you!

After a delightful stroll and shop around Willunga markets it was time for brunch. Terre Cafe offered a range of meals and drinks to choose from; I very much enjoyed the mouth-watering Breakfast Bruschetta and Cappuccino.

This Cafe has a lovely outdoor seating area down the side for people and pooches. Last time we came this was a French Cafe so was surprised to see the menu when we walked in (although we hardly come down this way). We all tried the burgers and one person had the schnitzel. I enjoyed my beef burger with fries, only complaint was that it took the food a while to arrive but wasn't too fussed because it was such a nice day

  • sally van Leuven

We really enjoyed our lunch at Terre Cafe today. We shared a platter of crumbed prawns, salt & pepper squid (very tender), crumbed camembert and grilled chicken with sauces. This was of high quality and we finished with 2 of the delicious desserts of the day. The place was not frantic busy, so very enjoyable for us. They also have paintings for sale and a free book exchange. I am sure we will be back, thank you!

We went there to celebrate my sons birthday and do it on a budget and as close as possible to Aldinga Beach. It's not remarkable in any way but its in a lovely location. I'm very jealous of the people who live there it's a lovely place and I can imagine going to the Cafe regularly if I did live there.

Dropped into this gorgeous little cafe over the weekend before their grand opening and had the best coffee and most divine scones I've ever had. The service was fantastic and the surroundings just beautiful. I thoroughly recommend anybody to drop in and experience what this place has on offer I can't wait to check them out for breakfast and lunch!!!!!

Absolutely love going here. We've been here numerous times now. The food is delicious and a wide variety to choose from. I know they had vegetarian and pretty sure they had vegan dishes. They are very accommodating though, so just ask and they will do what they can.

Second time visiting, was impressed the first time so brought a group of friends with me this time. Lovely bright and clean atmosphere, friendly staff could sit there all day chatting and drinking their lovely coffees and their eggs bendicts will be back to try the tapas plate over a glass of local wine!! …

  • Sharon Hanlon

Lovely little cafe located at the top of the main street, serving great coffee and an all day breakfast menu that offers some different selections from the typical 'run of the mill'. Seating outside for when the sun is shining, or a wood burner inside when there's a need to seek out a warm spot!

  • Steve Reynolds

Ideal rustic spot to grab a nice coffee or a glass of locally grown wine. Great variety in the food menu and the free WiFi is excellent. Love the Farmers breakfast - simply sensational. Thoroughly recommended and a relaxed option to break the journey on your way to or from Victor Harbor.

  • Janice Anderson

Dropped in by chance this morning whilst driving through Willunga. Ordered coffee and an egg and bacon roll to takeaway. Got to say not only was the service friendly and with a smile, but the coffee was exceptionally smooth and the food was beautiful. Great find, will be back!

Both dishes we had were delicious. The beef and Guinness pie however was quite small and the filo pastry on the top was more like a biscuit than pastry. Overall though the rest of the meal was good enough to overcome these small issues.

One of our regular haunts. The staff are friendly and the food is priced well for a lunch time meal. They have a good selection. The coffee is nice and they have a good selection of munchies to have with your coffee. Recommend.

Rocked up at 2:30 and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. Very pleasant sitting outside watching the world go by. Our three meals were all beautifully presented and tasted great. Would recommend and will be back ;)

Gorgeous homestyle cafe, making a real variety of delicious things. Definitely try the arrancini balls and the breakfast bruschetta. Oh and if the roasted cauliflower soup happens to appear on the specials boar, snap it up.

  • Georgina Burns

Platters were beautiful but the zucchini fritters were doughy, the only thing that made them edible was the large amount of sour cream and chilli sauce. They were on the specials board but definitely not very special.
