TL;DR: Overpriced, Overcooked, Overrrated Was looking forward to trying a Vili's burger, after being hyped up by a mate. With Vili's reputation as an institution in SA, it should be good, right? Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectation and we left disappointed. Drinks were expensive - we weren't expecting a bargain, but your local petrol station was better priced. The burger was beyond disappointing. The bun was dry and already breaking apart upon serving. The "signature beef patty" was overcooked, bland and tasteless; we even questioned if this was real meat or imitation beef. Beetroot and mayonnaise were also missing from our burgers, even though they are advertised as included. Chips were fine, though portion size was not consistent. I believe my mates did not get enough. Gravy was extra, and apparently has risen in prices heaps. Service was fine overall. I'm sure the waitresses are doing their best. Based on other recent reviews, Vili's has been going downhill lately In summary, unless you have nowhere else to go, look elsewhere. Such a sad fall from grace. As for the mate who recommended me this place? We are no longer friends.

Today we had three pie and chips deal. We could not eat the chips. The chips were old, cold and bitter in taste. When we approached the staffs, they said that it was fresh, but they will give us a fresh bowl of chips.they gave it, for this gesture we are giving them 2 star but they shouldn’t have served this old chips in the first place. Also people in our next table could not have chips, they did not ask for change, they just left. Another thing, we have faced discrimination and condescending behaviour from some particular staffs couple of time. May be we should not come here anymore.

Worst food I ever tasted, I arrived and the customer service was awful, they treated me with a rude attitude and looked upset when I asked any questions. My coffee tasted like cheap coffee and my food was frozen inside. It looked like they didn’t heat it up correctly. Also the place was dirty, there were insects all over the place. I could see small roaches in the corners. There was a fly inside the food that was displayed, it all looked very gross. The worst part was the customer service. The staff attitude seemed snob and entitled. Worst experience there. Do not recommend. Hopefully they train the staff to be more friendly and to clean better the space.

A very casual eatery where you can stop - if in a hurry to grab a quick pie to go or stay and order a meal. Breakfast lunch or tea, whatever time of day. Seating is inside and outside and courtyard style blinds wind up to feel the breeze in summer and keep cold out in winter. The price is average, the food variety is good, the huge menu options caters for all. Staff are always friendly and quick to serve at counter, but it’s always busy the many occasions we’ve stopped here, and sometimes the meals can take a while. The pies are great & hot but meals come with cold fries/chips.

Hmmm. What should I say. Too slow service. Had to wait 25 mins for an egg. Taste in food was ok ok.nothing I would say wow I want to return. It's good place for a hungry traveller in the middle of the night. I must say the portions are too big not. I my view not very economical. Can do better with smaller portion. I see a few plates around the restaurant with lots of uneaten food. So maybe we can stop the food waste and send some food to salvation army for poor people. N8ce place though.clean and neat.

I have remind myself and my family not to come again. -poor customer service from all staff ( not even a smile to greet and there is no improvise if you have food intolerance - to be able to eat there with the family) -schnitzel with nothing inside just dry oily crumbs - steak hard and dry -not a place for a family to enjoy a snack or lunch that satisfying . -only Good for tradies driving by, truck stop vibe.

When my partner said on our way into Adelaide let's check out the Cafe De Vili's I thought a pie well. What a surprise I got from pie's and pastries to a menu fit for any hungry traveller, breakfast and main menu's and don't forget the Sweets great customer service fast and being in SA iced coffee reins supreme, the selection has something for everyone who loves iced coffee. ☕ Open 24 hours a day you will have no excuse for not pulling in. Food for any time day and night.

The food was excellent! Hot, fresh, served quickly. The customer service was surprisingly friendly and helpful. Vilis always has delicious food but the experience was great on top of that, so will be back again to try some other items off the very large menu. The premises is extremely clean, well distanced for covid reasons, bright and friendly. This business is family friendly and also offers take away as well as dine in.

Ordered a AB Yiro, I was definitely expecting something different. I would not call this a Yiro at all. The chips were fatty, the meat was well over cooked and in huge chunks, and for some reason they thought a good sauce combo was tzatziki and tomato sauce. I expect alot better from such a simple meal to make. Won't come back

I've always enjoyed coming to this nice local cafe, which is not only is 24/7, but also offers a good range of foods, drinks and pastries. I've tried most of the menu and the quality of the food is pretty good. Portions are big, and the price is fare. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Great place to stop and eat . Taking a photo of the ceiling you can see how clean it is.. Visited the CAFE for the first time....everything was great, except the staff need a bit more training on been nice to customers and serve with a smile and willingness to work at the CAFE. Update: Amazing team member brought our pup some water on a hot spring day. You guys are amazing Thankyou! Don't underestimate your hunger at 3am this 24 hour cafe has more than just pastry. It's a terrific place for a quick and easy / cheap price to eat. Really popular and often busy. This makes it tricky to keep the tables clear / clean. The staff do their best but it's hard to keep up. Cheap and cheerful place for the whole family.

For the first time my dad let me order Uber Eats tonight. When I picked up the bag after it had been delivered I was soooo excited. They had put such an effort into this delivery. They gave my dad and I an extra donut as well as added fun little designs onto the bag. I'm keeping this bag, no way I'm throwing it in the bin

This mess is supposed to be a baked potato with sour cream and cheese. It took 50 mins to come out and was wrong twice. This is the second time we’ve had a meal here and it’s taken over 45 mins to come out, considering there was less than 12 people seated.

I guess $11 for pie and chips was prettt decent however the chips were soggy and the pie tasted like it’s been reheated multiple times. It also lacked flavour and was looked uninspiring.
