"Food is ok, expensive"
"Losing their quality"
"I have been going to this chain for several years"
"Really tasty and authentic curries"
"food is okay, but when asked for tap water they don’t provide it and say we don’t serve tap water, which is against the law as a licensed restaurant, and then proceeded to give bottle water on the table without requesting for it, giving the impression that its free but then charging for it at the end"
Food is ok, expensive. Manager needs public relations training. Staff member did not serve me, staff member did see me.i waited at table approx 5 mins, i was then overlooked by the same staff member, who served other customers who came in to the restaurant shortly after me. So i got up and walked out of the restaurant, and took my money to a pizza shop. I called back a few days later to taste of lahore ( i gave this place a second chance by the way ). the manager asked me why i left. I tried to explain, the manager would`nt let me explain as he was arguing with me. i did gave the manager his 60 seconds on the floor. But the manager did not give me my 60 seconds on the floor, as the manager was still arguing with me. how and why did the same staff member overlook me, was it incompetence, or was it a racial thing ? If it was a racial thing. i wont go to that taste of lahore again.... here is my 60 seconds on the floor.
Losing their quality. Purchased 2 large chicken tikka rolls and and a large kebab roll and a large chips. I paid £24. Transaction date 19/11/2016. The naans were cold and the chips were horrible and oily. As a regular customer, I called them to complain - the attitude I received was overwhelmingly negative. The person on the phone said that if you come back and get a new portion of chips they will still be the same. So my response was to explain my dissatisfaction and post this review. How to improve? 1) Apologise to customers if they are not satisfied with the food. 2) Show some empathy with their concern. 3) Ask them what you can do to make things right. The quality of Taste of Lahore Cricklewood has declined over the last 18 months and this is disappointing. I shall be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
I have been going to this chain for several years. I like the new look of the restaurant. We got served with a fresh minty salad which looks and tastes appetising. I've never been disappointed with the rotary chicken which is then grilled and served. Usually I get a 1/2 chicken, salad & chips which in taste and quality has always been the same, and I love. My wife ordered a chicken tikka biryani for the first time which she loved the taste and the spice! We will definitely be visiting again, and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, quality has improved a lot!
Really tasty and authentic curries. This is an update to my earlier review from a few years back. ToL in Cricklewood is simply the best authentic tasting Pakistani cuisine in London, at reasonable prices.

Other branches e.g west ealing taste of lahore, same company i have been going to for 10 years always serve tap water with no issues, this was my first visit to this branch and i will not be coming back.
Its a shame the aesthetics of the sit in are not better because this place would be much more appealing for others if it was. Friendly staff with good old school cooking, classic dishes are bargain prices. £6 for a veg curry, around £8 for a meat curry and £9 for an inhouse special you can't really beat. The curries are really good here even though their briyanis seemed very popular as everyone around us was ordering it. If your local or passing and looking for a takenaway this is a no brainer!
Chicken karahi with hot nan & the lamb biryani is fabulously good, nearly gave me tears of joy. Haha. Large portion for even 2 sharing ( asian size bellies). Even had the leftover for breakfast and it is still deliciously superb. Just be careful if asking for spicy biryani. It is very spicy. Otherwise ask for regular version if you have sensitive belly. Kudos to the waitress who’s working so hard that she forgot to smile. Forgot to tip her. Worth the 15 min walk from Kilburn station.
Fantastic meal as always. The mixed grill is really tender and flavoursome. You cannot go wrong with any curry, and the breads are straight out the tandoor - you seriously can’t do better than this!

We been to this place with family. We had to wait 55 minutes for our Food.during this time nobody bothered To explain the delay. When asked They said chef is doing namaz. While 3-4 workers on the counter Chatting and laughing. NOBODY BOTHER TO GREET ANY CUSTOMER. Very unfriendly-no manners- Very very poor FOOD-TASTELESS Like the owner and staff. Went there first and Last Time. Looks Like all their REVIEWS Are FAKE. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I've been here twice, both times i've ordered the chicken tikka biryani dish with 2 tikka Naans. I have loved both of those visits! The lady on the cash till was very nice and helpful, so the service for me was a 5 star itself. The restaurant is very clean and has nice designs of Pakistan (which is a country i love andwant to visit). The food itself is delicious for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this place!
I've been going to taste of Lahore since it opponed I've seen a dip in quality and a lack of costumer care. Asked for garlic sauce three times but ended up with mayo , and on top of that they lie to me about a deal I've been ordering for two years. It's a shame but if you're looking for food that's going to hit the spot visit taste of Lahore cricklewood sometimes you have to sacrifice coustemer service for good food!
Had a lovely experience here. My husband and I were running late for prayers, the brother kindly gave us a space to pray before we ordered our food. The food was absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying out food from Taste of Lahore, and I must say I was very impressed! Will definitely be going back for more! Lovely service and amazing food! Great job! May Allah grant you barakah in your sustenance ameen!
We had dinner there.. the taste was good as compared to other similar restaurants but they really need to improve the service. We had to wait for long and repeatedly had to remind the waiter for the different items in our order. Also had to remind him 2 times for paying the bill. Seemed a little unprofessional approach towards the customers. Hope they will improve the service side of their business. Thanks
Terrible food - Led to food poisoning!! We went here as a group of 10 people and went here to break our fast. Food was not fresh, the grilled chicken was extremely dry and over cooked or seemed like old and reheated with sauces topped up. Seating arrangement was not good and won’t recommend to dine here with family and friends!

Popped in before we headed home on the M1. We had chicken tikka rolls with salad and they were really tasty, fresh and filling. A good size and price too. Will definitely recommend and will be stopping again next time we go to London.

Very bad service , charge us more and when we asked for bills he doesn't want to give us bill , telling us we need to calaim 50% from government. Bad attitude till last serve late even didn't think about kids . I visited lots of times harrow in Harrow Branch they are very nice . Here even I have to bring things in my table by myself . Please if you want to go taste of Lahore then go to Harrow branch.
I have tried this restaurant numerous times and every single time i am left highly disappointed, I bought two kebab rolls last night, Paid £10, the shopkeeper assured me the price was due to the quality of the food. All I could test was garlic sauce and naan bread the kebab was bland with no flavour. I will be avoiding this restaurant they are nothing like the other branches of taste of lahore.
Phenomenal experience, tastes awesome, freshly cooked mouthwatering grilled meats, tikka, wings, chops, and seekh kebabs, and i love the soft naan, would definitely re-visit soon, just wish that the staff would listen to my order more carefully to avoid any mistakes which could avoid unintentional mistakes, but guess what, this restaurant is a 5 STARS!!!!! i'd definitely recommend this place
How is it possible that a restaurant provides uncooked meat? it is the second times i noticed the seekh kebabs are uncooked and pink. PINK MEAT , UNCOOKED MEAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe im having to write this. This branch needs to review the way the food is being cooked, its quite a big deal and can be dangerous as well. couldnt eat had to throw the meat away. just a waste of money
The food quality was subpar, as the Seekh Kebabs emitted an unpleasant odor and the chicken tikka serving resembled a topping for chicken pizza. The rating of one star is primarily due to an erroneous invoice, which charged for the unsatisfactory Seekh Kebabs, though the mistake was corrected upon my notice. It is worth noting that such an error may go unnoticed by most patrons.
This branch is by far the best among Taste of Lahore restaurants. Their food quality is consistent, I stayed in cricklewood for a week and had the pleasure of dining in daily in this branch. Today, I ate in their Wembley branch but the food quality was rubbish. The branch owner in Cricklewood is also a pleasant person and I thoroughly enjoyed eating there. Highly recommended
Staff is very polite and helpful. Food is very good apart from thing that I wasn't impressed is keema naan which was dry and oily and has very little meat. Had biryani, curry, and mango lassi, and all was really good and full of flavour.

The food is amazing, no doubt about that. The only thing these guys need to work on is their Customer Service especially the owner who seems to be a grumpy man! (If you are reading this, please smile and be hospitable to your customers instead of being grumpy) more and more people will return when your customer service is top notch.
Very nice lamb kebab roll... On second visit, Tried the lamb chops (perfectly cooked) with just the right amount of seasoning, the chicken shish was a bit dry and size a bit small for my taste. The lamb baryani had a nice fragrance flavour to it and with decent chunk of meat. The mango lassi was also very good.
At first we visited Taste of Lahore harrow, and we really loved their food. They suggested us that they have another branch at CRICKLEWOOD. This branch was very close to our house. So we visited and this obe is also very good as Harrow branch one. Today was our 2nd visit . Very delicious and fresh food.
I was there on Sunday with my family of 5. We had biryani, lamb, some grilled chicken and for the kids, chips and chicken. The food was superb. The service was good, polite staff and very helpful with choosing menus. I will recommend this eatry, psst and some freshly baked nam bread. I will visit again.
Taste and service was great. I always enjoy visiting this place. It is recommended for all those who love Pakistani food.

Chicken Tikka Biryani
I had one of the worse & tasteless chicken biryani from this place rice looked 5 days not much chicken inside when I complained to the worker on the till he didn't know what to say because he probably knew biryani was not fresh also grill chicken was dried avoid eating from this taste of BAKWAS!!!!!
Even though taste is ok , the customer services is very poor, even boss when he get busy, he doesn’t care about customer, the cashier and waiter who is there boss is not there , he hardly smiles and he does not like children, that’s reason , I try not to go. Both are very poor and chefs are good.
Suprisingly really good food, we went for the Nihari which is a slow cook curry, paneer and saag (veg curry),kebabs And nan. Quick friendly service from the young guy at the till. Will definetly return with family. If your looking for great food and not pricy this place is worth trying!
I actually love the food and atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty.

Food is always tasty, fresh and service is fantastic. We even order this in on nights we can't be bothered to cook! Their chilli sauce is one of the best I've tasted and the seekh kebabs are moist and flavoursome. Love the rolly polly and kebab rolls in naan. 10/10
Misunderstanding occurred through a language barrier over the phone with member of staff. Management arranged a visit to the house, very polite, super A+ customer service, explained the problem and food has been replaced with extra free of charge rice pudding.
£5.00 for a quarter chicken, chips and drink. Chicken very tasty, slightly spicy, salad included, chips were nice with optional chili or garlic sauce. Nice portions. Helpful staff. In the window and inside there are lunch offers but not clear what they cost.
10/10 GIVE THIS RESTAURANT A TRY, TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My time was brilliant, I went with 2 friends and we got chicken curry, biryani and chicken with chips. Honestly the best chicken curry and biryani I have ever had, they do it differently!!!!!!
Food is not the best quality or tastiest, but okay for its price. Main issue is that owners are surly, which doesn't change whenever you go. So best option is ordering online

Basic take away that offers some quite good grilled meat and nice freshly baked breads. The curries an even the birianys are quite oily though. If you choose your food carefully you can have quite a good meal here at very reasonable prices.

What have you done to your chicken biryani?? From absolutely delicious to absolutely tasteless. I had it on take away last week - huge disappointment as it had no flavor and was very poor in general. Please bring the previous recipe back!
Every time I come here the food just gets better and better. I have recommended this place to so many people because the food is absolute perfection. Great vibes and wonderful customer service. The best part are the tandoori lamb chops

Favourite branch, flavourful and consistent. Good value for money, half chicken with chips good value for money. Decent portion but tastes gorgeous with sauces and spices. Parking can be a issue but bays not far for restaurant.
Lemme start the review with talking about there wings the best I’ve had so far in London the juicy succulent taste dripping from the tandoor in your mouth make you enjoy every mouthwatering bite . So far I’ve only tried that.
Food is nice and tasty but the price is keep going up. I stopped ordering as there're many other options where I can get my regular order with cheaper price and better quality.

Poor service, food was cold and dry. Staff were confused and unhelpful. Other branches much better. Asked to reheat the food staff took the food away and brought it back cold. Avoid!

Kind of generic food, certainly not the Lahore food that I am aware of. Nothing to blow you away but if you're hungry and there's nothing else around, it will do, kind of place.
Taste of Lahore is my favourite place for a curry in cricklewood. The curry's are really tasty, mango lassi is great and everything is great value for money. Highly recommend
very nice and tasty food specially seekh kebab mix grill and i love the biryani and the service also was brilliant and friendly staff. good as always highly recommended
