Products you have on sale + availability of those products. In particular to the Alamo Heights store, your staff are extremely helpful when I am having trouble locating a product, checking out or when I purchase something to pick up in store (speed of picking out for me). Firstly, the receipt I used to log into your survey was not the one I intended to use from my most recent visit, when visiting to purchase my baby girl some new toys (I believe the 09.25.19). So to start with the bad... I am pretty used to this by now, but I feel that I shouldn't have to keep looking at the Target App to check on prices of products to make sure they match! I bought 4 different toys for my baby girl the other day and only ONE toy was price matched both on the app and shelf. The other 3 toys had to be price changed at the check out to match the price showing through your app/online. I had met another mother whilst looking at toys who had picked up one of the same toys I had and it made me feel guilty that I hadn't mentioned the price thing to her as she probably paid the extra $8 shown on the shelf. That is NOT small change! It is, in my opinion very dishonest and if these prices are shown online they should also reflect in store on your systems and shelves! Now to the good... I had the pleasure of dealing with Alexis that day when checking out the toys I had chosen to buy. She went through all price checking with me, thoroughly and apologised for the inconvenience of having to take more time to correct all the pricing errors. She was extremely patient, pleasant and POLITE! This is one of the things I have always been impressed with when visiting any Target store and is a great reflection of your training/store standards. Once confirmed, she made the corrections and assisted me with payment as I was paying by cash that day. She took extra time to help me load the toys back into my cart, as I was also juggling a little monster and made cooey faces at my little girl whilst I sorted my change. She left me feeling extremely happy and satisfied with my shopping trip. I would very much also appreciate that these comments reach her. I know how it is in supermarket/store environments but I feel that passing comments on to the staff members is an extremely positive thing to let them know they ARE APPRECIATED! In case there is more than one Alexis in your Alamo Heights store, she was a tall black girl in target uniform working Self Check out I believe I might have been there in the morning time, around 10:30 am!

First and last time shopping here. Cashier KIANA had a terrible attitude. Today, as I approached the register I greeted her with a "Hi, how are you" , Kiana rolled her eyes and gave a very unpleasant look. When Kiana noticed I was using some coupons, she was handling the items with a very poor and rough attitude and when asked what the total was rolled her eyes again. Kiana proceeded to tell me one of the coupons did not match because it had to be the one on the picture. I asked her to please read the description of the coupon and tell me why. Kiana began to raise her voice shaking her head saying ITS NOT, I AM RIGHT and laughing with a very condescending tone of voice while looking at the other customer in line. I have been using coupons to donate for many years. I would have paid in full for the items the coupons wouldn't work but I was humiliated and was willing to give me a hard time from the first try. I utilize coupons at a different location because I donate hundreds of dollars in hygiene items to teens shelters. This cashier does not know the reasons why someone uses coupons which are provided to use and counted as cash (makes no difference and I am not stealing), it could be me stretching the remainder of my paycheck for my family of 6. I felt very disrespected, humiliated with my 2 and 7 year old with me. I left all of the items because it was already overwhelming with my 2yo crying. These items I was picking up were much needed like the deodorant, body wash, hand soap and hand sanitizer. Perhaps employees need further training on customer service, proper way to greet customers and a little bit of empathy. I was treated by this cashier as if I was stealing. Very sad to drive half hour, spend an hour gathering items... for this.

I LOVE TARGET . I shop at Target ALL THE TIME. Spoke to Jenn at 9pm on 08/21/22 at customer service at the Target in Alamo Heights on Austin HWY because I returned a game and I got a store credit. I had the receipt HOWEVER I stated they could give me whichever easier because I was buying another game anyway. We bought the wrong one card game . It was unopen and unused. They didn't have the game I needed it in stock . I asked well can you order it and ship it to my home or the store . Spoke to Amber in customer service who said YES, However she was clearly new and need assistance and Jenn came to help. She was RUDE condescending and short. Told me I couldn't use my merchandise card to buy the game and get it ship the the store nor my home. I then asked to be refund back to my card .. She stated well since I choose the merchandise card I could no longer have that option. I said well please have the game ship to the store and I will buy it with the card when it arrive. She said that ALSO couldn't be done. I stated the item isn't in stock at this point it HOWEVER it is an item that is sold in store online it is there was 3....so please have the item restocked so I can buy the game with the card since I cant get a refund now that I got a merchandise card. I had no option to have it ship to my house nor the store. Please just have the item restocked so I can come buy it off the shelf. Jenn was rude and refuse to do either accommodation

I am not able to walk due to surgery on my foot so I am very very thankful for the delivery service. I ordered liquid laundry products. To whoever pack this order, I say, I love you. They took such care in packing it. They taped the lids on the bottles, wrapped the bottles in very good plastic bags, and securely zip tied them. I am so so grateful because one of the bottles did leak. There was not one issue with the boxes of dryer sheets ( all in the same box) getting damaged because of the smart packing. It was so simple to cut a hole in the bag and pour it back in the bottle. No damage, no loss, no problems at all. Great job Target or maybe a Shipt employee did it. Either way, I thank all of you. Always a pleasure to shop there. I also totally missed entering the tip for the delivery. I wasn’t familiar with the tip area on the checkout and must of missed it but again you guys are amazing & smart. Y’all made it easy to correct by even having the option to go back to my account and add it which I am happy to do & will do. Just wanted to do this review first. Thanks a million! ♥️

I was not very impressed with my experience at Target today, it has been the only poor experience I have ever had at a target. I was second in line at the register for 20-25 minutes behind a lady who didn't seem to have a very difficult issue, I believe she was just paying with a red card and had a coupon. No effort was made to move me to another line, it took five associates to solve the issue, the lady was quite clearly flustered and I was there the entire time behind this lady. When the problem was solved, the associate that fixed it stated that she took off ten dollars for the inconvenience, when I was inconvenienced just as much and did not even receive an apology, which made it seem like the lady's time was more valuable than mine. To top it off, I was mischarged for an item but couldn't even be bothered to have them correct it because I just wanted to get out of there. Will not be coming to this location in the future. The only reason they get two stars is because the greeter and the lady directing people to the registers were quite pleasant.

I wish the employees at Target in this location would be more concerned about regulating the safety guidelines for COVID-19. I went to a necessary trip to Target this evening for some essential things wearing my mask and maintaining my social distance. As soon as I walked into the store I saw a group of 5 people without a mask walking through the store and not maintaining social distance; I later saw several employees walk in front of them and not say anything. I trust Target and I’ve always provided my business; but how can I recommend Target to my family and friends and keep trusting this location if I find out the employees cannot reinforce guidelines and will stand idly when they see customers refusing to wear masks. How is Target allowing the violation of simple guidelines to keep everyone safe? HEB/Walmart and Costco are doing a better job at staying on top of the situation. I will not be shopping at Target for some time. I’m very frustrated. Please Target care more and don’t fall behind on the company name you have created.

Be aware that their Self-check out registers do not handle cash transactions like at HEB or Walmart. For example if you are paying cash for a $16.50 total purchase and you want to pay with 20 bill, the machine automatically give you a message on the screen that “a Target associate is on the way ” to help you with your transaction, so if the associate is busy helping other customers you have to wait for her to assist you. Assist you with what? You just want to put the money in the machine, like at many other “self-check out” registers that take cash. Well, no, you have to wait for a Target employee to open the register’s drawer, take your money and give you change. What a waste of time! What in the world, Target! You are just creating unnecessary steps on a simple cask transaction. Get the true “self check out” registers that are able to take and dispense cash.

My cashier at customer service was very polite. I wanted to price match one item, so I checked out at customer service. My cashier quickly found the item on her target device and even looked up the other items I was purchasing, which was not necessary. I do appreciate her trying to help me get the best deal, especially this time of the year. I frequent this target multiple times a week and my experience at customer service is usually not great. And that is also from watching their interactions with other customers. It was refreshing to see a smiling face at customer service and a nice person behind the genuine smile. A team member also brought me a shopping cart while I was walking around the store, I didn't even ask for a cart. So that was helpful and much appreciated. They pay attention to detail at this store.

For me to take the time to write a review in regards to a shopping experience it has to be either exceptionally good or extremely poor. In this case it was absolutely exceptional. I don’t feel that Target is really known for their customer service, to be honest, it’s usually not all that great. However, Ruben in electronics was so very helpful & kind today during my search for a Nintendo game for my 7 year old nephew. This Target location is truly fortunate to have employees like Ruben who go out of their way to assist customers. Although I don’t spend a lot of time in the electronics department, should the need arise, I will definitely be back to see Ruben vs going to a big box store who specializes in this area.

I was in this store the other day and there was a mess in the women’s restroom. From what I overheard the bathroom cleaner wasn’t in yet since it was pretty early in the morning. One of the managers asked the girl at customer service to clean it and got upset when she said she wasn’t trained. Then while I was printing my pictures out I saw that they got a barista in Starbucks to clean the bathrooms because the lazy managers didn’t want to do it!!! I think her name was Josselyn or something, I couldn’t read her name tag clearly. call me crazy but I don’t want the person making my drinks and touching my food also being the one who cleans the bathrooms!

Bought a tv online. Was given a “CRC” which is a salvage if some sort. I didn’t understand what was given to me, Drove 40 minutes home to discover it was the biggest piece of junk. Went to closest target to return and they couldn’t because it “wasn’t in the system.” Drove again to purchasing target to refund and they seemed disinterested in my situation. I chose target as it’s customer service is typically light years above Walmart. Not in this case. When asked if they could compensate me for fuel, time, and disappointment they essentially told me to take a hike. 0 of 5 Jalapeños do not recommend.

I went in because I notice a item had gone on clearance, but he item rang up full price. The manager told me there was no way they would price match. Eventhough the item was supposed to be marked down. It just had not been marked down in there system yet. This she admitted to, but said I could come back in the morning after they mark it down. Well I checked the inventory later that same day and it was sold out. I am fairly confident the employees did not honor the price so they could buy it when they got off the clock. The integrity of these employees is poor. Disappointed with Target.

Ordered an item that was supposed to be a size small, I recieved a size medium because it was on wrong hanger that said small. Just got a refund and ordered online again, when I picked it up I was given the exact same item on wrong hanger. I told them the issue and they asked me to wait and they went and looked for correct item and couldn't find it. Just got another refund and went and checked myself and found a entire rack of said item. When I got home and it was put side by side with same shirt I got in extra small from another Target it looked faded and cheaply made.

This review is about the Starbucks’s inside… earlier this month I went and ordered a Frappuccino. Half way through the drink I thought I was eating the caramel crunch but it turned out to be plastic. PLASTIC!!!!! I went back and they looked at the bender to discover the top parts had chipped off into my drink. They asked if I wanted another one and acted shocked when I asked for my money back. I really am in disbelief they acted like that. Im starting to believe this is a prOblem with the management and employees at this location.

WARNING! WARNING! SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK! We loved this store. Shopped there often for years. But be forwarned. They Do NOT take the health of their customers seriously. They require wearing masks, but do not follow their own guidelines. All business should take the wearing of protection seriously. We spotted people in the store with no mask, and one employee named Alex was seen in three different locations without a mask on. This store is not taking Covid-19 seriously. We were shocked and gravely disapponted.

This is already the third time i've visited this target to see this product is still on the shelf and expired. I came Jan 16th i let someone know and she even took them off the shelf i went again Jan 17 i let someone know again they said they will let the person in charge of that department know and today again they are still expired and on the shelf. Some say expired 2021 and 2022 Obviously no one is doing anything about it so maybe this will get their attention and no one will buy expired condiments

This is a really nice Target. They have some amazing things! The lay out of the store is nice and the cleanliness is perfect. My drop in stars was the customer service which appeared to be lacking that day. I was not terribly happy with the way the registers only had 1 person working and the majority of the checking out was done by us the customers. I felt this was a Walmart move. Come on Target, take better care of your shoppers. The faster I can get in and out the better.

Would leave 0 stars if I could! The rudest employees I've ever come across in all my years of coming to Target. They were rude to my autistic child for not wearing shoes when we were already on our way out because the store was closing. Extremely unprofessional, rolling his eyes and complaining when my mom needed assistance with an item. He seemed to be the manager, the rudest manager at that. The cashier wasn't great either. Will not be coming back this location.

Went to eat something and i ask for a pizza there were 2 already there and i ask the cashier if i can have a fresh pizza and she just look at me and told me there 2 there with the worse attitude and i reply i dont mine waiting and she just say well is the one we have really what kind of customers service Then i see her having to much fun with her friends eating next to.me. Very unprofessional no wonder she didn't want to make the pizza VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought an Altec Lansing from target. $149. One of those approx. 16x30x14 ones. It was ok for the volume on 1/3 of an acre and the 10 Hr rechargeable battery. But it only lasted 4 months. The pre programmed voice started saying:" the battery is low, pls recharge." Well I plugged it in over a few times, left plugged in 1-3 hrs, sometimes overnight and still it gave me the same message. So it'll be going to the curb for Bulk trash pick up.

Went there last night and shopped for about 45 minutes and when I got up to the check out I realized I left my wallet in car so I told the check out lady to please hold my cart that I would be back in seconds with my wallet so I ran out and back in inside of a minute and my cart was already gone!! After asking 4 different people that were not going to help me find my cart I got mad and left. I won't be back!!! Nobody cares!!

As i arrived to pick up my items that were ordered online at the Guest Service area, there was no one available to help the other customers and myself, but one staff member returning from outside bringing in a large cart , he acknowledged us and said "i am sorry no one is available but a staff member will there to help as soon as they return " i thanked him for the acknowledgement and then someone did show up.

The Target Austin Highway store has an outstanding employee in Mathew. On a recent Target Run I dropped my mask in the parking lot- I was unaware until I entered the store. Mathew was cleaning carts at the entrance and noticed my concern. He gave me a mask- and when I tried to give him a mask from those I had just purchased, he declined. I will remember Mathew and his kindness for a very long time.

I don't shop here often, but when I do it's the open, well-lit and clean feel of the store that always makes a good impression. 5 stars usually means perfect or very nearly perfect, but truly, I had no reason to take away a star. The shelves have almost always been neatly stocked, I usually find what I am looking for, the people are friendly and helpful. Bottom line, this Target is a great store.

Easy as could possibly be! I needed to also pick up other target run stuff but this blender on sale I needed to be there and get quickly. Great experience. I rarely go to brick&mortar stores. Prefer having everything drop shipped to me. But this blender I needed by 6am Monday. Staying at Airbnb and they did not have a blender for my stay. Done. Now Monday will get started on the right foot.

I love the Target on Austin Hwy. The employees are always knowledgeable and very friendly. I recently went to purchase some lotion. The price at Target was $6.49. I looked it up online and saw that a competitors price was $5.19. Target did a price match and gave me the lower price. I really appreciated it. It's because of things like this that I will continue to choose to shop at Target.

I’ve worked in retail before and there are ways to handle suspicions of theft. Having your associates stalk your repeat customers without offering any assistance shows how mis-managed this store has been for YEARS. Yes it’s sad when a customer can notice the revolving door of employees and management. I know I’m not the demographic of this brand, but I used to enjoy shopping here.

I placed my first online order for this store only to have it cancelled. Spoke to the manager to fix it and she still wanted to charge me even though I told her I did not receive the refund on my card and would just like my items. This store has friendly employees and is clean but management is very little help. Won't be returning to this location nor Target again.

The agent was a cute as bug in a rug! The temperature had dropped to 45 degrees and child it was cold. I didn’t wait more than one minute before the agent came to bring my product. Although after he left i tried to start my car and it got stuck in neutral and waited for AAA. That agent flipped my shift lock and I was out of there!!! All in all a great experience.

Typical Target shopping experience, the parking lot is always full however it doesn't feel crowded while shopping. Grocery items are priced higher than at a grocery only store and there clothes are slightly higher than you would expect but are good quality. I would think if Target more as a department store than a discount store.

The employees are very honest and helpful. We lost our wallet here and Demarius saved it! And guest services took the wallet, locked it up and were very kind when we called to find it. On Black Friday nonetheless! Anyone could have easily pocketed this even with cameras. God bless this store and it’s honest employees!!! …

I tried to buy a Lego storage case and they didn't have a price for it. There were several on the shelf without prices. So another associate carries all of my items to the service desk to be rung up there because they're able to "look up" my item that did not have a barcode. I had to wait in line all over again. No thank you!

Very biased store . When you look good people working in store will greet you but otherwise these people just want to say hi or how are you mam/sir or have a good day to few peeps . These kiddos really judge people by color /race but don’t know even brown skin people are worthy . Grow up people pleaseeeee .

I come by on my lunch break sometimes, it’s pretty slow around then. Usually always have what I need, but I wish there were more ready made lunch options in the produce area. Everything in the store is clean and squared away, could use a few more cashiers sometimes. Overall good location.

Everyone here is helpful and nice and they always have stock that matches what it says they have online. Most Target stores don't. They carry the organic diapers wipes and hair products that my daughter needs and items that I order for pickup are always ready very quickly!

I purchased two iPads and two Allstate warranties from Target. I changed my mind and returned the iPads but they would not refund my money for the warranties. They said I’d have to TRY to go through Allstate. Seems sketchy at best. Wish I could give no stars for this.

My phone was stolen, and I went to Target to buy a cheap phone. I walked in and the staff was dressed unprofessionally. Colored hair like a circus I waited about 15 minutes fo get a phone because the clerk was eating lunch. A teen tried to help but didnt have a key.

I love shopping at the Target on Austin Highway. They always carry the best stuff. It's a little pricier than Walmart but worth it because they are never out of stock and there's always more cashiers. And if you like board games like me, thier selection is HUGE.

Your options to pay are one checkout lane or one self checkout register. Takes you 3 minutes to grab your one item and 15 minutes to pay for said item. Manager standing chatting with an employee while looking over her domain saw no issues with this.

The Target in my neighborhood is easy in and out. Always enough checkers and the self scan area is always well managed. Products are better than average and foods in grocery are including more healthy choices (organic) all the time. Great Place

The bathrooms here smell like a porta-potty on a hot summer day. The place needs to be hosed down with bleach, it’s disgusting. The store itself is relatively clean but jesus, I don’t understand how they could let the bathroom get that bad.

Love the cartwheel app. The employees are great and the parking isn't bad. The inventory control seems a bit lacking in certain areas. I wish that this location was open 24 hours.

Went to Target on Austin Hwy today. All of lanes were opened and they moved fast. There were a lot of sales and of course the popcorn was fresh.
