I am autistic and very pH specific. My order was taken correctly by the customer service officer. The order was cooked incorrectly with an item I needed removed put on the order. I removed the half cooked item and had 3 bites. I have vomited several times. I rang the store initially about the order, when, after being questioned by the store assistant, and the order being checked, I was told my meal would be refunded. After vomiting again, I rang the store back and said to the customer service operator that I did not want the make up meal and that I would not be returning. The customer service operator kept saying that she would get her manager. I repeatedly answered that I did not wish to go any further. Instead of listening to me, the CSO still got her manager. I hung up. if I was anaphylaxic, I would be at best in hospital now.

I havent gone here in a few years but was at the Drs so thought I'd grab some chips and a Burger, the Portions were huge alot of chips compared to alot of places maybe not the best quality meat and chips but the size makes up for that , I grabbed the fusion burger and it was huge alot bigger than I thought it maybe I thought it was pricey till I saw the size when I got home. The chips were seasoned well , the customer service was good the guy in there had a but of a chat to me as I asked questions about the burger and he seemed like a nice bloke, and the female came in and we spoke briefly as well. Used to be our local shop but after the last couple visits have been utterly disappointed. Even though we asked for chicken salt the chips were unsalted (something which I've never actually experienced from a chip shop before). The chicken was way overcooked, resulting in super dry meat, very tough, dry skin. The staff were incredibly rude!! Their chickens were advertised everywhere throughout the store as $10 so I asked for a chicken, and paid $16 for a "jumbo chicken". When I realised they wouldn't swap the chicken over as I'd already ordered the jumbo, even though I couldn't actually see price tag for the jumbo anywhere. Thanks but no thanks, we'll be heading to one of the other two shops in the area from now on

If you live in or near Surrey Downs do yourself a favour and give these guys a try! Simply the best chicken / fish & chip shop by a country mile. Not only is the shop impeccably clean and well presented, but the quality of the food is OUSTANDING! I have no idea what secret ingredients Yanni uses for his Steak Sandwiches but OMG to say they are addictive is the understatement of the century! Not only is the food beyond reproach, but the service is just as good! Family run, local business, that understands the meaning of good old fashioned customer service. I love this fish and chip shop! The food is delicious. Chips are perfect, chicken and fish is amazing and the salads are the best! My kids say the hotdogs are the best they've ever had too The portion sizes and prices are also great. Not only is the food great, the service is fast and all of the staff are kind and polite. They make you feel welcome and are so friendly. You can also tell they all enjoy working there together. Definitely our families go to take away place for a quick and satisfying dinner!

We are locals and regular customers to this shop as the food is good. But when I visited to get dinner on the 10th November 23 I was disgusted to see a father and 3 young boys come in the shop and the boys started playing soccer inside the shop. An older lady was hit by the ball, nothing was said by father or shop owners. I will now on principle go to another nearby fish and chips. Their food is just as good.

NEVER AGAIN!!! So obviously this place DOES NOT read restaurant notes about food allergies - ordered a YIROS for my daughter and specifically wrote to PLEASE NOT ADD ANY TOMATO OR ONION DUE TO FOOD ALLERGIES and still got a YIROS filled with tomatoes & onions! It’s a good thing I always check or else my daughters allergic reaction could have ended with her in hospital or even worse!!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS!!! The "new" (been there for a while now) owner(s)/chef/staff are really friendly and the food is excellent! I keep going back because the chips are perfectly cooked with great flavour and the salads are fresh, tasty, and have variety. The staff members even go to the trouble of sifting out capsicum for my wife who is allergic! Burgers and yiros are very tasty and not soggy or oily. I often place phone orders and they are always ready on time. I can thoroughly recommend this establishment! ❤️

This store has turned quite the slump ever since the new management and it seems the business is plummeting. The old manager (John and Dez) were very nice and i wish they didn't hand it over to the new guy. the new boss is quite rude and honestly, quite hurt my feelings. The one thing good about the place is the night time service. That is the only reason i am giving this place a star. If it wasn't for them i would give it a zero!

We have had takeaway from Surrey's twice this week. Yes, twice. I had a fish and chip pack Wednesday, it was so delicious, loved the chips, really good chips and the fish was perfectly cooked. It was so good I got the same order again tonight and it was just as good. 10/10 for consistency. We will definitely be back.

Food is always fresh and never had any problems. Staff are friendly, polite and honest. Huge menu of take out on offer - always something for the whole family on take out night :-) Store is always clean and tidy. We always phone ahead then just collect and reduce waiting time in the shop as it gets crowded quickly. Would recommend this local business. Well done everyone.

Waited 25 minutes for small chips and still not received with staff standing around while baskets of chips sit there not being cooked. No urgency. Walked out. Maybe get multiple people working the chips station if it’s difficult to keep up with the demand. Disappointing.

Whilst waiting on my order, I noticed a Staff member not on shift mind you, go behind counter, help herself to the cooked chips one by one. This is unacceptable as the new cooked chips put into of those she was helping herself too and dishes up into customers bags. Bad Hygiene in my book.

Just ordered chicken yiros and when we got home found it was roast chicken in pita bread. Rang to discuss to be told if it is in pita bread then it's a yiros! Wondered what we would have got if we ordered lamb? Rubbish.

Not my nearest local, but worth the extra drive. Ask for 'well done' if you like a crunchy chip. Great value compared to local cost vs quantity. No experience with burgers or other menu bar there chips.

Very dissapointed. We got 6 peices of fish and all were burnt and the hot dog with extra butter we ordered hardly had any butter on it and didn't even taste like butter. Won't return.

I have never seen a worse display of a roast chicken thrown in a bag. Looked liked it had been skinned and jumped on. Terrible with salads to match. Just get the chips
