It was a great idea using a storage shed for a transition between moving out of our rental and getting the keys for our new home. I was able to pack and sort without being time pressured. Initially I gave a 5 star review, as we paid for the first month and the second was free, and the friendly staff member made the process quick and simple. However, it soon became apparent there were mice in our storage unit. As we were moving house I had cardboard moving boxes sealed shut with tape containing kitchen, bathroom items. When I saw the evidence of mice I removed all the food. A hole had been nibbled in the boxes and the tins of food were covered in mouse droppings and all the pasta and noodle packets had been eaten through. I removed these boxes but the next time I went the amount of mouse droppings over all of my belongings and all over the floor was ridiculous. Memorabilia from my children's younger days had been eaten to pieces and pooped over, my two bean bags, linen stored in boxes and bags of sewing material were covered in mouse filth. When speaking to a staff member on the phone she was defensive, telling me I must have stored food (I was not told to not store food), that only one other person had complained of mice, and that there are baits set up everywhere. They survived long after I removed the food. I was upset with myself that I had not purchased insurance. My thought process was: "It's nothing of great value, just household stuff. What could possibly go wrong?" Well, now I know.

I used to rate storage boss 5 stars, but since they got bought out by storeLocal they have no onsite workers to discuss your storage needs (including purchase of storage equipment like mattress protectors etc) and then not even 3 months after taking over the company (and 5 months after signing up) StoreLocal bump up the price an extra $18 a month. They did not send an invoice my first month after StoreLocal took over and I had to ask for it.

Used these guys when we were renovating our place and had to store our furniture. Was impressed with the facility and service, the staff were really friendly and nice to deal with. Prices were also really reasonable which helped! We’ve since moved back into our house, but I’m still storing a few items there which is freeing up some space in the garage (and getting the Mrs off my back). Would definitely recommend this place.

The staff at Storage Boss are fantastic, always easy to deal with, and always happy to help. Even down to the little things, like contacting you the next day if you have accidentally left something outside your locker when loading/unloading. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for an affordable storage solution in the southern suburbs.

My overall experience with Storage Boss was fantastic. From the staff to the highly secure building, I felt comfortable to come and go whenever I needed to access my unit. This is a very clean and well designed storage facility. I would recommend this location to anyone in the Hackham or Morphett Vale area needing to store goods or vehicles.

I was referred to Storage Boss through a friend. I have been storing my stuff for almost a month now. This is by far the cleanest and safest storage facility I have come across in south of Adelaide. The prices are affordable and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend them highly.
