The service and facilities are great but was disappointed with not being offered a refund for the portion of time I didn't use. I booked for a month to start with, letting the customer service person know I would only be using the unit for 2 weeks, which I did. She said the minimum to begin with is 1 month but could look at a refund if used less. I returned the key exactly 2 weeks after I signed up. Walked in to hand back the key, told the staff I am done, and was told a pro rate refund is not available. Yet, the staff got excited when they found out the unit was a 3x3 and they had a waiting list for units, so not only was I paying for a unit I wasn't using, they rented it out to someone else for the 2 weeks I had already paid for. I read their terms and conditions and it does not state that there is a minimum 1 month charge. They were not willing to help me or refund the portion I didn't use. So that's how they make their money. Be careful of these big storage companies. They rip you off and double charge when people finish using their units. Never using them again!

In response to u-store-its reply i actually didn't give this rating in the first place. My 5yr old son got into my phone and has given several reviews that i was unaware of. U-store-it have been extremely helpful to me and during what has been an incredibly hard time of My life have been very understanding. The storage facility has no faults that i can say. The security is outstanding. The staff are friendly and helpful always. Management are understanding. And whilst the person who replied to me was upset about the star rating saying i had excuses - these were not just excuses to me. This has been exactly my life for longer than a year. It has been one bad thing after another for me and doesn't stop. After a lifetime of Good luck i have had major health problems, extreme money issues and a relationship breakdown so to me these are not excuses they are my life. Having said that the storage facility has been exceptional during this time which is the reason why I'm writing this and putting my star rating to the maximum as it should have been.

Absolutely 5 Star Service! Rachel, Mandy & Michael at U-Store it Para Hills provided us with the best service we could have ever expected, they went above and beyond to help us secure two driveway units in quite a short & stressful time frame. They were able to answer every single question we had (there was lots) and were efficient at keeping us updated and arranging everything. The facility it’s self is very clean and secure, and quite cool even in the summer months. Also the pricing was highly competitive and much cheaper than all other storage facilities we looked into. Our stuff came out of storage as good as it went in, with barely a speck of dust on the boxes. Would absolutely use again and would highly recommend if you are looking for storage.

I could not speak more highly of Karen from U-Store-It at Para Hills - she is absolutely amazing and such a credit to the company. During a pretty stressful time of an upcoming end of lease and needing a storage unit fairly quickly, Karen made the process as seamless as possible and I was instantly at ease. The facilities are amazing; so safe, secure and incredibly clean, they even have toilets and a kitchen for customer use. I have recommended Karen and U-Store-It at Para Hills to my family if they ever need storage.

Staff are friendly and helpful, they really know their stuff in terms of what size storage unit is required. The building is immaculate and easy to navigate and the height means a removalist truck (4 metres high) can easily enter to decant or collect. The price doesn’t reflects the state of the facility, I expected it to be higher, but it’s incredibly reasonable. Even better, they offered my brother a rebate for recommending I use U-store-it. One of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had during a very stressful time.

I have been with U Store Storage for nearly three years. I never have any issues or problems with them.My things were in a very safe and secured place. And in the same condition as when the time I've stored it there. I'm very happy with all the Staff. They were very friendly and professional in all manners whenever I have queries. U-Store Para Hills West were amazing in supporting me in my move. I had to move very quickly - they were so accommodating and helped me with the resources and suggested contacts to move. They provided me with a secure and safe place for my belonging. If it was not for them I would not of been able to move a whole house in 6 hours. I have had 2 separate experiences using U-Store storage units.The facility is of the highest quality and I was always confident that my goods were secure. The person I dealt with more often ie Karen was very professional and pleasant to deal with.Karen and the other staff did their best to assist me acquire the storage units I needed. Unfortunately the law of supply and demand led to significant increases in the cost of hiring the units.

The ladies at the front were very helpful in accommodating my needs for storage and other supplies I needed. I originally enquired 2 weeks before and so when I attempted to book in the space they were in near full capacity although the ladies in front office quickly arranged an appreciated alternative. I was in a bit of a hurry and they were very time efficient. So a big thumbs up from me.

After the initial confusion on how to enter and get to the office I was greeted with very welcoming staff who what I feel bent over backwards to help without being asked. Having never rented a storage unit before I was given all the information needed and was shown the unit prior to signing the contract. Recently joined the many that need to store their possessions My daughter recommended them as they have one there ,Staff super friendly and helpful place always clean . I needed to use the truck which was easy to organise and very reasonable price,made things so much easier. Can also have use of the bins on-site, plus found out they can organise a shredder for you .

Karen at the Para Hills West location was absolutely brilliant in her assistance We have used U-Store before and always found the staff and facilities excellent. Our only concern was that due to the current supply&demand situation we could not get the larger size unit we were after.However Karen found us the next size down and that will meet our need at this time.

Can not any more from the Staff at the desk. Really lovely. Feel my caravan is safe and secure. Just renovated the car park and made the sites a lot thinner. At this point I can get in my van but the neighbours can’t because they are to thin. Hopefully this will be changed and made wider. Spoken to the staff and hope rectified.

Some units have lights, some don't. Some hall areas around the units are easily lit, others, bring a torch. Also if you plan to store a car here, when they want you to move out (within rental period) they'll just undertake work around your car, in our case leading to bonnet damage on a rare, low km car.

Absolutely satisfied with the service. It was prompt and hassle free. Mandy and karen helped at each step as it was my first self storage experience, the storage unit was clean, fumigated before hand over, went all smooth and would recommend Ustoreit (para hills west) over any other storage facility.
