I used this specs to buy liquor in bulk for an open bar for my wedding and they were fantastic. The guy in the store was very nice and helped us find the best deals possible as well as giving us suggestions on what he sees done in other weddings since we had no idea how much to buy. He was very helpful and made providing an open bar easy and affordable. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is since the day before our wedding when we were suppose to pick up the liquor, the man my husband had worked with wasn't there that day and no one had gotten the liquor prepared for us. The staff was very apologetic though and quickly packed up all the beer, wine, and liquor we had ordered. I would highly recommend this specs if other couples plan on doing their own open bar or for a place to go that has a good selection of drinks at a great price

They never know about any Black owned liquors. SMH I went on East Chase in Fort Worth and asked about the McBride's sister's they referred me to 7-11 I guess they thought it was a low budget liquor. End up getting it from Total Wine on Hulen. I went on Hulen in Fort Worth Yesterday and asked about Jay-Z's liquor Cognac D'usse. They told me he use to have a liquor out but it had been marked down to 50 cent But they didn't know anything about D'usse. Insult after insult! With this being said I will never peak my toe in specs! SMDH ***Retraction Y'all I did find the Specs on Bryant Irving in Fort Worth very helpful and knowledgeable of all liquors. They had Earl Stevens Wine which is E-40's the rapper from Oakland CA. So I will go back to that location I can't hold them responsible for a few Unwoke employees at another store.

Terrible worker! Someone needs to teach this woman a lesson about customer service. My wife came in yesterday 11/11/23 (on Veterans Day no less) around 3 pm. When she was checking out she ask if they had a military discount. Instead of just fixing it. The worker has to make the comment “Yeah but you need to tell me that before I ring it up, now I have to get a manager.” Very rudely. What’s wrong with people? Why do you feel the need to make snide comments to YOUR CUSTOMERS? You know the reason you actually have a job! I’m sorry my wife did ask you. Just because you’re in a hurry doesn’t mean she’s on your time schedule when she needs to inform you. And as a VETERAN this ticks me off she was buying it for me on VETERANS DAY! We won’t be back because of this worker. You’ve lost our business.

I attempted to place an online order through Drizzly which was subsequently fulfilled by this location. Upon realizing the wrong address was entered for the delivery, I attempted to call the store to have it rectified. Not only was the employee who answered the phone rude, but I could over hear her conversation with her manager who was also rude. Due to their incompetence and poor customer service, I asked them to cancel the order which they claimed they could not do. They couldn’t even completely fill the order due to lack of stock. Needless to say, after jumping through a few hoops with the app, I was able to cancel the order. I then purchased the same products from Total Wine for a much less expensive price and much more pleasant experience. I do not recommend this location at all.

After very loyally shopping at a different Spec's location for 5 years and becoming frustrated with the customer service, I decided to visit the Hulen location. Billie completely changed my mind about this company. Billie took the time to talk to me, explore the in-house options and even help me locate a few rare bourbons I was looking for. He helped to educate me on a few different lines offered by the same distiller and even showed me a few alternative options for what I was looking for. Even if supply isn't available for the limited editions I am looking for Billie has some good suggestions for alternatives, which is reassuring and helpful. "Top-Shelf" Customer Service Billie, I appreciate the help. I will now be a loyal customer to this location.

I have managed two bars in the ft worth area. And at both locations I have used specs. For our liqour/beer delivers and supplies. Like every delivery company once in a while they may miss an item or two or get one mixed up with the wrong item but it's rare and they are always quick to fix the issue, they are also always willing to trade out if you order the wrong thing by mistake or order to much of something. They have a delivery guy named Ken ( i believe he has been there roughly 15 years, so they seem to take care of their personal as well ) he is one of the friendliest and helpful delivery person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and I hope the company finds many more like him......keep it up

Good selection of wines, some by region, others by type, so I was a little confused. Many 'cheap' wines were in a separate area that we wouldn't have known about if we hadn't asked for a specific wine. The sales person laughed about the wine we bought. But when we asked for an Opus One Ovation ($124/bottle) he said it was overpriced and not that good. He tried to talk us out of it. Well, we happen to enjoy Opus One, so we bought it anyway. Also, a gift card for $100 rang up as $90. We were told that there was a service fee due to its age. Thought that was illegal. Overall, we might go back, but will likely go to Total Wine.

We spent $588 in here for a work event and the staff was super helpful and boxing up our purchases. As we walk out the door our box fell completely apart, miraculously only one bottle broke. The helpful staff came out and saw what happened and and offered to replace it. The security guard told me I had to come in as the card holder with my receipt and they would do an exchange. Once back inside the monster of a manager proceeded to verbally assault me and tell me since it wasn’t on our property(I was literally 5 ft from the door) it was not her responsibility. 10/10 would not want to work for this unpleasant human being.

I shop there a lot. Foolishly. The staff are hostile to customers if you ever have to ask a question and they have been out of an item that I use for some time, Saint Germain elderflower. I went to discuss with a manager and he told me we're not out of it, they don't have it in the warehouse. There was not on the Shelf 3 weeks ago and none on the Shelf today. When I talk to the manager, he said that everybody would be out of it. I went to goody goody 3 weeks ago and they had plenty of it and I want again today and they had plenty of it again.

Felt like I got bullied out of the store from who'd I'd assume to be their loss prevention associate. I was doing nothing but buying 2 half gallons of vodka. He followed my every step around the store even up to the registers. When i made it to there, he just stared at the wall of pints of alcohol until a cashier came and rang up my vodka. Either this place is getting robbed of 10 dollar vodka like crazy or their LP associate is letting his power go to his head. I'll happily drive down the road to get alcohol somewhere else from now on.

We just walked in, I had my ID and my friend had a picture of hers. They denied us alcohol because my friend only had a picture of her ID, not her actual ID on her which we were a little irritated by but overall fine. So we asked if she could leave because the alcohol was for me anyway, not for her, and they said that still wouldn’t work. We decided to leave and as we left they kept yelling “Bring your ID next time” at us while we tried to open the door and leave. Rudest staff ever.

I came here with my son a week before his 27th birthday and I told him he could get whatever he wanted. It was the most unwelcome, unfriendly what are you doing on this side of town store I have ever been in a while. The only positive were the two checkout ladies who helped us and I think they were the "token" employees. We should have just left left but my son was having fun picking out his liquor bottles! Total Wine from now on!!

I used Specs to stock the open bar at my wedding. Travis Evans assisted us and he was so nice and very helpful, especially considering we knew nothing about stocking a large bar for 150 people, and had a million tweaks and questions about our order. Overall it was one of the easiest and most fun aspects of wedding planning. Also the store in general has a pretty easy-to-understand layout and we may have been there a time or two.

So, they post one price and ring you up for a higher price. I asked what the deal is and they say it is higher since I used a credit card. I thought that was deceptive, but said fine here is my cash. But, even with managers help, they could cancel, re-credit or return the sale. So, they bated and switched me with no remedy. Bad deceptive or incompetent business that won't get my return business even though I know their tricks.

The moment me and my friend walked in it felt really weird all the employees just kept looking at us like we were going to steal something every section a random employee would walk by looking at us. I did not feel welcome at all even my friend noticed this so we just gone out and left and went to a different store. I will not go to this Specs after how I felt I am just better off going to a different one or to Total Wine.

great selection. I have been purchasing here for a couple of years and at this point have spent thousands....in all that time I have been trying to get a bottle of Blantons. I have been repeatedly fed excuses as to why they couldn't get me any, so decided to shop elsewhere. I found a little mom and pop liquor store locally that would source for me. That's service and they are more appreciative of my patronage.

Service is first rate. Bathrooms are clean and placed in a visible area. This place is easily navigated in a wheelchair. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There would most likely be someone nearby to help with getting merchandise from high shelves. The selection seems to be never ending. There was even taste testing when we were there.

We needed pineapple syrup, we looked for it in a variety of stores, after not finding it in a couple of stores we started calling. We called Specs and they told us they had this product. We drove from far away, and when we got to the store they didn't have the product. Whoever answered the Phone didn't even care to check for its existance

They have a great selection and some of the best prices. You get a discount for paying in cash which helps too. This is a great little store but it's tiny compared to the specs on Bryant Irving. They definitely have all the essentials; though. If you're in the area and need to pick up something quick this is the place to go.

Spec's ism very affordable an affordable great people working there for them I don't like to go anywhere else but specs just dumb good people I'm to get on the key thing for discounting prices you can earn points for free or discounts for your bottles of wine or whiskey or whatever you're buying but definitely join the club

Had never been there and glad my co worker and I stopped on the way home. It is a very nice store, good size and layout. The best part was the price of my favorite, Jim Beam Apple. The big bottle I think a gallon, was lower priced than where I normally buy it. I thought they would be higher priced because of the location.

Decided to give this joint a try on my way home one night. They have a good selection of liquor but I wouldn’t rely on them having any Coke. Its hard to believe that a place like this would not have such a popular mixer….. employees were ok and the security guard seemed much more helpful than the actual employees.

Vast selection of spirits, wine and alcohol. They also have a condiment/snack section that is fun to browse through. They have great seasonal items and a good selection of 'airport' size liquor. Although it's fun to shop around in their store, 90% of the time they have been out of more popular bottles of liquor.

Lots of products, none of the employees went out of their way to say hello or anything but they made sure to ask for my I.D. even though I was across the store not buying anything, my buddy was for himself. Guess they thought they were doing something by catching a 25 year old poc in the store …

We've had several bad experiences at this particular location with the available product. Every time, we've had to exchange a product due to quality and freshness. On certain items, they go out of their way to hide any type of "sell by" or "bottled on" date. Will not be shopping here in the future.

Lots of alcohol, which is a must for a liquor store, but the building is old, not a great selection of craft beer. Don't buy cigars from this location, they are dried out and will fall apart. Go to the other Specs off Bryant Irvin, much larger, cleaner and humidor is much better maintained.

Jean-Paul was super helpful with getting our wedding liquor put together. He was able to get us set up with wines, champagnes, liquors, and beers within our budget and with good taste. Thank you sir and if you ever need any recommendations when it comes to wine ask for him by name.

It was a great place. They have a large selection of all types of alcohol and food. The workers there were very friendly and helpful. I have never been to a store where the workers open and hold the door for you. Thank you, SPEC'S for a great experience. I definitely will be back.

They are not requiring masks. I did not feel safe while in the store and I will definitely not be back. There are several other stores in town that are requiring that customers mask up. I'm surprised Spec's isn't. I would expect more from a family owned business during a pandemic.

Holy macaroni penguin batman. I walked into the place and be all like Dizzanm. The largest selection of beers, wine and spirits I've ever seen this side of the Mississippi. The store was clean and the service was friendly. I gotta tell ya bub, I'll be headin back soon.

This store is neither too big or too small for a pleasant experience. I find big box liquor stores overwhelming and others too small to carry a good selection. My only complaint is that it's hard to get help locating items sometimes.
