Update: thats a pretty generic response. You didnt even answer my question! Went into your store Saturday morning with my daughter to buy an anklet. The store was empty but we recieved no service. Not even a look, let alone a hello. When we asked to look at some items, we were treated like we were putting the staff member out even though she was just standing at the computer. The dark haired lady with glasses (no name badge on) was extremely rude. I have never ever been to a jewlery store where you are not allowed to look at items except through the glass. Is this actually Shiels policy??? We left and spent our money at another jewlers where received great service from the second we walked in. Looks like the feedback you have been receiving from this store hasn’t made any difference to their customer service yet.

It appeared that the staff tried their best to help customers but were completely let down by the store environment! The store fitout is totally unsatisfactory when it's busy!! The point of sale terminal is located next to the small gate/door the staff use to access behind counter. My partner and I were making a very expensive purchase, and had to constantly move aside so staff could go in and out. To make it worse, the centre air conditioning (Garden City) was barely working!!! So staff and customers both had a dreadful experience in those unacceptable conditions! (Big plus however... Love the ring!)

Went into the store today. One staff member was busy with a customer. One was looking at the computer. We were not even acknowledged let alone asked if they could help us. Another staff member came from the rear of the store as the other customer left. I found what I wanted but still had not been acknowledged by any staff member even after we been in the store for several minutes. Had to ask to get the item I wanted. The staff member seem very reluctant to have to serve us. She did not even speak to us other than telling us the price when it came time to pay.

First time had bad experience at Shiels Garden city..went their this morning both ladies were unfriendly and seemed bit reluctant to help...looked for one diamond ring and didn't get much help..then looked for bracelet and they said they don't know how to resize it.. basically couldn't buy anything at end due to lack of staff assistance. Will appreciate if staff is bit enthusiastic towards their job and attend the customers properly.. suprisingly it wasn't even busy as we were the only ones but still didn't get attended well.

Came in for 1 ring left after ordering 3 Have been back multiple times within 2months have got 2 Bracelets, 1 Necklace, 4 Rings and looking at earrings now. No pressure have been extremely helpful attempted to get ring at Goldmark and they just had no care they acted like income only. Shiels is my only place from now on.

Customer service is always bad at this store. I usually walk in with the intention to buy something I saw in the window but I always get put off when I walk into the store and no one looks happy or ready to assist. I also don't like the manner in which I was spoken to many times at this store.

I had Tahlia look after me for my visit. She was wonderful, helpful, kind and very willing to help. Thank you for helping with my shopping experience. Please look after this employee she was awesome!!! The rest of the store not so much.

Amazing staff,couldn't have been happier with service,the ladies in this store are a credit to the business owner. Will only ever shop here for jewellery again

Please don’t waste your money assuming you are buying gold, all SHIELS jewellery are gold plated, however they are sold higher than actual gold price
