We are very disappointed with Sedunia Travel as they handled our 2-days staycation package that we won (F&N contest) so badly! We arrived at the hotel (Lost Paradise Resort Batu Feringhi) in Penang on 28th August 2023 at around 5.00 pm but we were informed by the hotel staff that room booked by Sedunia Travel’s staff Vivien for our 2 nights stay worth RM1,000 was cancelled! There were no room for us! I planned to celebrate my wife’s and daughter’s birthdays that night at that hotel, can you imagine how disappointed I felt?? How my wife and daughter felt? What made it worse was that we were told by the hotel staff the cancellation was made by Expedia even before the day we last spoke to Vivien on Friday 25th August 2023 about our trip to Penang and Thailand! Why didn’t she inform us earlier about the cancellation by Expedia beforehand and on that Friday itself when we last spoke to her? Did she has much too many emails to read but she didn’t read or ignored our matter or was it simply negligence on her part? We were informed by the 2 hotel staff at the hotel counter that the booking was made by Sedunia Travel via Expedia instead of directly with the hotel, and they were also surprised by that as it was not the right way to do it whereby Sedunia Travel should have called/e-mailed/be in contact directly with the hotel and book directly with the hotel so that the hotel can issue a confirmation letter/chit to that effect to Sedunia Travel (they showed us documents as prove of how it was done before by Sedunia Travel itself for the previous bookings made by Sedunia Travel at the hotel). We were also told by those staff that Sedunia Travel should have received e-mail notification from Expedia regarding the cancellation and should have acted upon it and informed us earliest and do what needs to be done pronto instead of sleeping on it. Don’t ask us how did the staff managed to find evidences and conveyed to us their findings, of course we were adamant to know what actually happened with our room and they assisted us nicely. Ruben, you knew what happened as my wife had spoken to you about this during our stay at a small hotel that we could find that night, and you realised that it was school holidays and it was very difficult for us even to get a night stay anywhere in Penang that we searched high and low until midnight, but what have you done until todate? Nothing. We demand reimbursement of our stay for those 2 nights as you promised (receipts of which had been sent to Vivien via email but she didn’t even reply to that email even until todate, no response at all!) and voucher replacement worth RM1,000 that we won for F&N contest.

In fact I would like to write this review last month. Due to some circumstances, it dragged until today. First and foremost my husband and I would like to congratulate and thanks Sedunia Travel. We would say Sedunia Travel is one of the best travel agencies in Malaysia as you have excellent, dedicated and efficient staffs. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Miss Yap Fei Lee (Penang Office). We signed up our trip and intended to visit Spain, Portugal and Morocco by COSMOS tour last October. Unfortunately, due to some challenges (flight delayed, missed the connecting flight, missed the hotel transferred) and emergency, we had to cancel the trip and rush back to Malaysia on the fourth day. We regretted on the cancellation and the financial losses; however, we would like to express our sincere admiration for Miss Yap's outstanding efforts when we needed help and assistance during our most challenging time in Madrid. Miss Yap answered all my calls and messages without any delay when we need her assistance and help. We really grateful and will always remember her contributions. We have never come across such a supportive and dedicated staff (in travel agencies) in my life as Miss Yap Fei Lee. We appreciated everything that she has done, the time she has spent in assisting and helping us, and the professionalism she has shown. We will never forget her assistance and dedication. Hi, my wife and me are in our late sixties and we wanted to explore the scenic train journeys in Switzerland for a long time. We last went to Europe in 2005 and did some travelling in Europe, including Switzerland, through a London based tour bus company. We started our planning in March 2023 and researched all the information on the different train journeys in Switzerland. We then contacted Sedunia Travels for some guidance. Luckily, I was attended to by a very competent tour agent and her colleague later on. With all the information, we decided on the suitable locations and towns and specific scenic train journeys like the GoldenPass Express from Interlaken and Montreux and Glacier Express from Zermatt and Chur. We asked for Sedunia through their agents in Switzerland to book the flights, hotels, and train tickets for the 10 days tours. By middle of March 2023, Sedunia booked all the flights, hotels and train tickets. In September, we embarked on our dream journey, with all the documents and special guidance booklet from Sedunia. We just followed the instructions in the booklet and used the recommended App for the train schedules. We were delighted that everything went like clockwork, all the hotels were good and relatively close and within walking distance from the train stations. The hotels in Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Montreux, and Zermatt were good and train journeys were very efficient and a joy. Thanks to excellent work from the Sedunia agents everything went smooth. Our group of 9, did a two-week tour of Egypt from the 4th to the 17th of February 2023. Kirueben from Sedunia helped us plan this customised trip. It was very well managed for us from the flight tickets to the ground tour in Egypt. Kirueben did a great job, and patiently answered and helped us in our never ending questions and requests for the trip. It was a most wonderful, awe inspiring and fun-filled trip. Everything ran smoothly and whatever little issues that cropped up was handled very well by the team in Egypt. Our guide, Satro, had a vast and comprehensive knowledge of Egypt. We really learnt a lot and he has now awakened this yearning in us to learn more about Egypt. Satro had a good sense of humour too and the flexibility to arrange things according to our wishes. Sedunia’s agents in Egypt did a great job. The hotels were really good and the Nile Cruise was amazing. We will book with Kirueben and Sedunia again anytime. Thank you.

We had a private tour for eight organised by Kirueben to Argentina, Peru and Brazil and were totally happy with the service and attention to details given by Kirueben. Everything went like clock work with picking up and dropping off at airports and hotels. No mean feat with five internal flights and numerous hotels. It was easy to communicate with him via phone call and emails. Messages and emails were returned promptly. The itinerary was superb though hectic but we enjoyed the trip thoroughly. We were charged excess luggage in one of our internal flights by mistake. Kirueben arranged for a refund when we arrived at our next stop. He even arranged a birthday cake at my request for one of the group in a restaurant where we had lunch. The efficiency! I will definitely recommend Sedunia to anyone.

many thanks to Kelly of Sedunia for packaging my family tour to Greece over the Lunar New Year week. The airport pick-up and drop-off was punctual, and all travel arrangements from one location to another was arranged seamlessly, really we only had to wait at the hotel lobby every morning and someone will come to fetch us. The location of our hotel in Athens, the Athenian Carrilhoe Hotel, was right in the heart of historical Athens. almost all the Athens attractions, the Acropolis, all the Agoras, the museums, Plaka district food and pedestrian street shopping is within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. We had a great time without the usual stress of having to catch public transport or Uber! Many thanks again to Sedunia and especially to Kelly!

This was my first attempt using Sedunia Travels for my holiday to Greece. I was connected with Freda, who was my advisor from Sedunia Travels. She was soooo helpful and very efficient in answering all Qs about my vacation. The coordination, and the planning for each and everyday on our tour was perfect. I was very happy with Sedunia. They also shared me the contact of a local agent in Greece where in if I did have any issues during the tour, I may contact them. My husband and I had a holiday in Canada planned and organised for us by Sedunia Travels. Kirueben and Vivian were very receptive to our requests and input. We had requested for train journeys for our intercity trips and that was so seamless. All hotels were good/excellent and strategically located. All internal tours were amazing. I just came from my trip to Japan. My husband and I are extremely pleased with their service. I first contacted ms Jane less than 1 mth before my trip. I am very impressed with their precise details and instructions. Even when we went to Disney, they brought us to the faster entrance via hotel Mira. The only suggestion is during the Nara and Kyoto ground tour,they can have a smaller group. We had 42 members for that and it would be better if we were given headsets to hear our tour guides in big group and loud place. Overall, we are happy that we approached sedunia.

Booked flight tickets with them at a MATTA fair in 2015 for a trip later that year. Experience was all right but the agent on duty lacked patience and was irritable at the end. As we wanted to book a private trip, was asked to go to their office in Jalan Bukit Bintang. Went to the wrong department of this company and was laughed at by staff. Managed to get to the right floor and met a Malay girl staff and asked if she could arrange for a private tour. Never came back to us. So we never went back to them.

We had a private tour for 4 organised by Kirueben to Spain and were very satisfied with the service and attention to details by Kirueben. His prepared itinerary was meticulously done. He never failed to reply messages and emails promptly. He even arranged for a local contact who messaged me the day I arrived and was on call 24/7. Travelled to Club Med Bali with 2 days of guided tour for my family of 5, all arranged by Sedunia Travel including the flight tickets. Entire trip was really well-organized by the agency, tour guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended, will get their service again next time. A 4 star travel with excellent personnel service. Well organised staff and helpful - the travel consultant and even the Finance Department. Situated within walking distance from lot 10 and Sg Wang plaza after Bkt Bintang plaza. Enter through Menara Genesis building.The parking inside is expensive. However you can park your car at the open air private lot for RM4 per entry.

We were in Iceland in November 2022 with assistance from Ms Adnielia of Sedunia travel. Details of instructions given were very helpful . We enjoyed the short trip except that we could not see much of the northern lights. It was there but not as what we expected as on YouTube ! Dunking in the blue lagoon was nice, so ware the icebergs around the diamond beach.

They used to be good before the pandemic, and I used them on 4 different travels including Avalon cruise.. but now its like they dont need my biz anymore.. two attempts at booking Finland and Turkey trips has been ignored after asking them some basic questions. It looks like you can only contact them for firm rigid booking and not ask any other questions...

Used them to organise a tour for 5 people to Egypt . The tour was very well organised and their counterparts in Egypt were very professional and helpful . Sedunia also accommodated our requests as to some modification of the tour. They did a good job and I highly recommend them if you are looking for an agent to organised your holidays/tours

Wonderful and well organised package tour to Bali. Our driver/guide was very confident and patient on those busy and narrow roads. We were not all that happy with the choice of restaurants except for last day there. Our 4-star hotel did not even have basic toiletries for us. On the whole, a pretty good value package holiday.

10 of us in a private group tour to Danang, Hoi An, Hue and Bana Hills had a very good and enjoyable trip last week through Sedunia . This is not the first time we have travelled with them as we once did a very enjoyable trip to Greece with Sedunia as well. They tie up with good local agents of the destinations we visited.

spoke to two different agents and both did not seem to want to help find a good deal. asked for a week package around 15k, instead kept pushing 25k package for 1 person. maybe they get commission from this, but its the wrong way to do business.
