DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THERE Went with my girlfriend planning to study there for a while at around 3 pm. The woman at the counter was very nice and we felt welcome in the coffee shop. The tables at the shop are made pretty small, and can only fit a laptop and a small book. One table per person is barely enough to study comfortably. We decided to bring two tables together so that each of us could use one table to be comfortable while studying.My girlfriend and I both had our laptops and she also had a note pad on which she was writing. Other people were also using two tables for two in order to study. The shop was almost full, and suddenly the manager (or owner) started to go at every two table used by two people and asked them to free one table for other customers!! He came to us and asked us to do the same, and we explained to him that it was almost impossible to study on one table. He told us that he would lose money if we took one table per person. We were shocked and found absurd what he told us, but we didn't free the table because we had bought drinks and we had the right to sit there. It was absurd to us because if my girlfriend and I didn't know eachother it would have been okay for two tables to be used, but because we did it wasn't. Just at our right, two people were studying and the girl told the manager (owner) that he would lose more customers (thus money) by asking them to start freeing tables, than for customers to see that the place is full and turning around and leave. They decided to leave the coffee shop because they didn't feel welcome anymore. We talked with them about how weird and unique what just happened was, and that it had never happened to be asked something like that. We decided to stay with the two tables taken. However, the owner was staring at us the whole time we stayed there. I heard him speak on the phone in arabic, where he was talking about us (I am of lebanese origin) and how we were taking a lot of space... When we decided to leave, as we were putting our coats on, the owner rushed to our table and he separated both tables and the chairs in front of our eyes, as if he has been waiting for 3 hours to do it. I was a regular customer, and while the renovations are nice, the new owner completely broke the comfort I felt when I used to go there. The productivity of our studying session went down immensely because of the shock it did to us after what he told us to do. I do not recommend anyone going there unless you want to go alone. Never going there again, and my family will do the same.

I do not leave comments very often but I simply have to share. Love Love Love It!!! New Owners are amazing! Kind | Friendly - I have already told people to go here for great coffee and atmosphere & of course wonderful conversation. I must also address some of the reviews that were not so great because from my experience when one doesn't get what they want they are very deliberate in saying terrible things. There are many students who choose to study there and I am unclear why? Many coffee houses have a similar problem, I think that students should study in a Library or at home or in a dorm it is unnecessary for them to study in a coffee house often they buy one thing if that and sit there for hours taking up necessary space for paying customers. Further, I have seen in this Second Cup students who have purchased food from other stores and brought it in to eat. Students spend a tremendous amount of money on computers cell phones and the like and they clearly forget that this is a business and not the Quad. I think it is unnecessary for certain reviews to be published given the fact that they are written out of anger because they did not get their own way. My experience is that many students are inconsiderate of other people who frequent this locale and believe that they have somehow more importance which is simply not the case. I did not know the other owner well but I don't believe that they are somehow better because they allowed students to lounge all day. The current owners go out of their way to ensure that everyone is well taken care of and they work extremely hard perhaps if those who comment so negatively worked even one day in this locale I believe they would change their review very quickly.

Do not go if you plan on studying with a friend. I got there at around 2:30pm. The woman at the counter was very sweet. My friend and I ordered drinks (around 8$) and went to sit down. It was two tables put together with four chairs. However, each table is made small (has only space for one laptop and a book) just like any other Cafe. Therefore we each had our own small table (as did everyone else that were two friends studying). At around 4:15 (what I believe is) the owner comes to my friend to tell him that we can only use one table for the both of us. There is clearly no space for two people to be on one table. We tell him that. He answers that he is loosing money if we are each using a table. I try to reason with him by showing how everyone else is doing the same because the tables are small. He says he warned everyone too. Its either we both are on one small table or we leave. I told him that what will really make him lose money is saying that to his paying customer for potential other customers. He didn't want to hear it. We left 10 mins after that (he starred at us until we left). If my friend and I walked in separately and each got a small table what would he have done? We were there for not even 2 hrs. I have studied at many different coffee spot and have NEVER experienced this. Really disappointed- before the renovations (and apparently new owners) I really enjoyed studying there but now I wont go back.

What a rude and disappointing experience!! My husband and I went for coffees and a little treat. I ordered a scone and it was incredibly stale. I told the young man behind the counter that the scone was inedible and his immediate reaction was to tell me I was being disrespectful and that everyone "loves" their scones. I work in the food industry and if a customer tells me something is inedible I thank them for the input and do my utmost to apologize and rectify the situation. I certainly don't criticize the customer for their opinion. I told the young man my intention was not to be disrespectful but to advise him that the product he gave me was terrible. He told me I was yelling and telling all the customers that his food was bad and that I came into his store all "riled up". The whole thing was very rude and quite frankly ridiculous. After all the insults he tried to give me my money back or exchange the product. We left our coffees and treats and the money behind. I'm never going back here. Don't get into the food business if you can't handle a critique about the products you sell.

My wife and I have been frequenting this Second Cup for 10 years now and sadly, the time has come for us to move away from the West Island and say a fond farewell to our favourite place to grab a hot beverage and just stop and chill. The current owner and his staff have made the place a welcoming and friendly place to grab a quick hot beverage and stop and chat, or hang out to read or study while finishing your drink. Once you see the number of regulars that come and go on a daily basis, you'll be able to quickly see the proof of how we feel about this location. Even through the challenges, both economically and environmentally, and with constantly shifting government regulations, the ownership kept a smile on their face, a hot coffee brewing and a kind word or joke readily available. It was nice to be able to have a constant lode stone through those troubling times. Thank you Second Cup Centennial Plaza team for all that you have meant to my wife and I. You can rest assured we will be back whenever we can get back to the West Island. Keep the coffee hot for us!

I went to study for the first time in this second cup. I took an Uber with my boyfriend to go there as I’m operated on my foot (I CAN’T WALK LONG DISTANCES). When I got there we wanted to use the bathroom but it was closed. My boyfriend went to Winners to use the bathroom and I waited. After few hours, I needed to use the bathroom urgently and asked the manager if she can make an exception. She said it’s a company policy and she can’t do anything, I felt I was talking to a wall. She was not understanding at all. I had to take an Uber to leave. Second of all, how come the place is open for ONLY Vaccinated people to eat and drink and you’re talking about not using the bathrooms for safety! I always study in cafés, if they open their dining room, they automatically open their bathroom too. So don’t blame on Covid for you nonsense.

Good place that I would have given 5 stars for if it wasn't for one unpleasent experience. As per usual, I go to study there with my friend. Normally we always order a drink and a little snack because we are not free loaders. However, just as me and my friend were getting ready to sit down the owner comes in and rudely asks us if we are gonna order something. We said that we will once we take off our jackets and settle down but the owner wasn't having it and kept repeating to us that people use the cafe "like a library". After what felt like 15 min, he finally left us alone, however the pressure he was putting on us to order was very insulting so we decided to leave and go somewhere else. I'm not gonna pay 5$ for coffee to somebody who doesn't even give us time to decide what we want from the menu in the first place.

Decent location, with the same selection as most Second Cups. However, they don't honour the Second Cup rewards system here. They'll gladly scan your card, and provide you with points in purchases, but if you attempt to redeem a reward (for which you have to spend $50, I believe), they'll tell you that they will only honour the rewards towards the most inexpensive drinks on their menu (which is not what the contract states). In short, they use the rewards program when it benefits them, and insist you go to other stores when it doesn't. I would recommend spending money at another Second Cup that actually abides by their own rules, and isn't attempting to drain the rest of the company or resources to their own advantage.

Me and my husband used to go to this coffee house way before the new owners took over. Now we go there much more often because of how great the new owners are. They are so welcoming and friendly. You can see that they are happy to see you just by the look on their faces. The beverages are so delicious and the food is fresh as well. The service is amazing and we just feel at home. Every time the owner is there he gives us free pinkberry samples and it’s such a welcoming treat. I try as much as possible to avoid using public washrooms but at this location I have never thought twice. They are so clean and proper. I highly recommend this coffee house

J'ai toujours eu de l'excellent service à ces endroit mais aujourd'hui, il y a eu une erreur de transmission de données entre ma commande mobile et ce que eux ont reçu comme commande. Malgré le fait que j'ai pu leur montrer ma commande en ligne pour prouver ma commande, ils ont refusé de changer mon breuvage (celui que j'avais commandé n'avait pas de caféine) et m'ont dit que si je voulais avoir le breuvage que j'avais commandé, je devais en repayer un autre. De plus, puisque j'avais déjà payé en ligne, je ne pouvais pas refuser la commande! Nous allions à ce Second Cup assez régulièrement mais je n'y retourne plus!

This Second Cup location is my favorite. The owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I have been going there for a couple of years now and it is great that they will remember your name and your favorite order down to the details. I always enjoy their conversations with me and they are always ready to go over and above the service that you would normally receive at a typical coffee shop. The coffee is great and I am obsessed with the almond croissants. If you are looking for a quiet place to study, and enjoy some time alone or with a couple of friends I would highly recommend this place.

So grateful that this family worked so hard during COVID to be a safe and reliable place to be open. The level of customer service is unmatched, I highly recommend this location. Thank you Milad & family!

Endroit achalandé et avec raison. Le café est si bon. Parcontre, e ne sais pas pourquoi ils collent leurs prix sur Starbucks. Second Cup doit resté elle même et ne pas tenter de se coller sur ses concurrents. Excellent service malgré l'achalandage des lieux. Que pour apporter ici seulement. Il y a un espace à la sortie dans le centre d'achat où vous pourrez déguster votre achat. J'aime bien leur nouvelle image de gobelet jaune.

Always a great experience at this coffee shop! The owner is friendly, he was able to tell me different options for a cold coffee drink. I took a iced caramel correto and it was delicious. I also got a chocolatine that he warmed up for me, which I thought was really nice of him. My husband comes there more often than me and he always tells me he loves to get his coffee there. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a coffee date!

I adore this particular second cup. The staff was lovely and really attentive to my order even suggested stuff. They were very friendly and whenever i asked for a refill they would bring it to me while i was studying or just plain on relaxing. The place itself is kinda small but the setting is perfect for a cup of coffee or anything you desire. It is a great place to hangout and catch up with people you haven't seen in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place to others who like a calm place to relax.

This is my go-to at least 3 times a week.. for many reasons. The owner is kind, friendly and very professional. He works hard on maintaining the place cleaned and it's very apparent. He's consistent in the beverage and food he prepares. With all that combined, he created a great atmosphere within the coffee shop with recurrent and pleasant customers. Totally incompetent workers. The two girls behind the the counter care more about chatting about life and boys. Unable to take more than 1 order at a time and seem to have issues working a simple point of sale system. They get the drinks wrong. Overall a painful 10 minutes of total incompetence. Sorry second cup ive dropped your loyalty app and wont set foot in this shop again. Please get better workers. Not just for me but for anyone else who still sadly goes there.

I really enjoy this place! I’ve never had a bad experience and the owners are really nice! Of all the people that said the owner gave them a hard time I think they were just misunderstood, and people should sometimes try to look at things from a business owners point of view. And if anyone actually spoke to the owners they would see they area actually very nice! And kind and generous! Also the coffee at second cup is much better than other coffee places around!

Be sure you do not need the washroom before you order because its only for clients who make an order, then you can use their washroom. A 2nd cup appears same as all their other same places for that retailer. This outlet in Centennial Plaza in Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, West Island Qc. Is somewhat small to my liking but a smart use in square footage and resulting in lower rent. Has all the same supplies and goodies that a 2nd cup venue gives, go visit.

This is absolutely my favourite place to study and hangout with friends. The owners are so friendly, every time I walk in, I am welcomed with a big smile! The employees really do go above and beyond to ensure that customers are receiving the best possible service and that each customer feels appreciated. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for great coffee, excellent service and a calm, welcoming place to study or relax with friend.

been coming here for over a decade now and even though i recently moved and i have another second cup near my house, i still chose the second cup on sources, especially now, with the new owners! they are warm and friendly and offer a great service! their vanilla latte is still unbeatable and it always tastes the same no matter who prepares it unlike the other coffee places. its great for working and studying and even meeting up with some friends!

☕This location has always been my go to place! I recently met the new owners and saw the renovations! I'm stunned with how they have improved the experience! New seats, new tables (marble!!!) , and towards the back they have a huge table with plugs so ideal for students and business meetings. Wow! The renovations undergone at this location are just fantastic: Everything looks fresher, more energetic and above all roomier! I had stopped coming to this location prior to the renovations and, to be honest, was happy to see the "Closed for renovations" sign in the window. Now, I love it all. I wil definitely come back in the future. Congrats to the owners and team here!

This coffee shop has be my to-do spot for the last 2 years. It's the perfect place to study, its quiet, the wifi always works and it's open until 8pm. The owner is always friendly and professional. Always love coming here! Rita is so friendly There is also an Asian girl who works there regularly (I'm ashamed to say I don't know her name); she is very thoughtful. They also try their best to memorize your order and have pleasant small talk at each visit. A huge difference from old ownership. Good place for study also; many plugs! ☕

An atmospheric and pleasant little corner to study or to spend a couple hours leisurely reading a book. Their house brew is to die for and their seating area is comfortable and cultivates a sense of well-kept and well-maintained cleanliness! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place to come back to.

The owners are the kindest and most hard working family I know. They’ll always remember you even if you don’t show up for a long time and they’ve never gotten my drink wrong! I always go back when I’m in the West Island and it never misses :)

One of the cleanest coffee shops in the West Island. Moreover they have delicious Pinkberry frozen yogurts. I definitely recommend this place.

It's a coffeehouse. A great one. Excellent coffee, lovely/friendly staff and owners, super clean washrooms. Fantastic place to study. A great place to take a load off and have a refreshment. Studying for finals, planning a vacation or catching up with a friend this is your place.

Coffee is really good, well prepared and served in real cups. You can take it to go, but it's a nice place to relax, comfortable seats and the service was simply great - friendly staff that did more than one would expect from such place, also great dessert options to choose from.

Rita is very welcoming and serves you with a smile. The cappuccino with cinnamon and chocolate powders was a good choice. I recommend Second Cup Coffee at Boul Dès sources and ask for Rita.

I've been frequenting this branch for finals' week and it's the best place to study and relax for a sleep deprived student :p. Everyone is super friendly and the menu is delightful and varied. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to chill with friends and family.

i never have coffee or tea at this place. my favorite frozen beverage is in Second Cup. A friend made me try a "frozen hot chocolate".yes you heard it right. got hooked on it ever since. It especially divine on a hot day after a long hard day of work.

This is our favorite Second cup, the owners are friendly ( always greated with a "hello") and the service is above and beyond any other cafe we visited. The coffee is always perfect, the washrooms are clean and the food is good. I highly recommend it.

One of the best SC I've ever been at. It's very clean and has very tasty drinks and quality snacks. Tune sandwich is amazing. Also I never liked frozen yogurt until I tasted it there so MUST TRY IT !

Every morning I have to come and grab my cinnamon latte before going to work! It gives me energy to continue my day. They have the loveliest staff. They are very friendly!

One of the best second cups I have been to. Great ambiance, very clean, the staff and owner and very pleasant and accommodating. And let’s not forget the amazing coffee!

Service ordinaire, café bien servi, le choix pour manger est très pauvre, plutôt cher (café moyen + biscuit = 5.50$). Je ne vais sûrement pas y retourner.

Pas de service si vous ne faites pas de commande avec l'application. 20 minutes d'attente à 10h du matin pour un café et un laté ! C'est insupportable!

We had a lovely experience, staff were friendly and we hung out for a bit. They have frozen yogurt now too and the inside has been redesigned.

C'est un très beau café situé sur la promenade des Sources. C'est un restaurant très chaleureux avec un personnel vraiment dynamique.

Bon service à la clientèle. Personnels bilingues et n'ont pas de difficulté à te servir en français. Bonne ambiance et bonne musique.
