So it's directly on the public bus line, the staff are amazing, the rooms spacious and clean. Genuinely lucked out hardcore with this spot. We saved tons of money by staying just a bus ride away from city central, the staff were super awesome when I messed up the reservation and the rooms were 4 star quality with all the general complimentry stuff. Recommend for a traveling businessmen, tourists, and drivers in general. I'm genuinely impressed and will come by here again for my next business trip. The hidden secret spot.

I must say what has happened to the Salisbury Hotel ? Christmas lunch was disappointing to say the least. Hot food was cold no crackling on the roast pork little cheese burgers were rock hard and king prawns that were thawed out and flavourless. Staff were great and their service was great 1 star rating not fair for the staff so I will rate the staff 5 stars. Unfortunately we were told at the start of lunch that we need to keep our plate and reuse it but there is fresh plates for desert, luck he said that because I was thinking do I use the same plate for desert. They had chicken nuggets, cold meats and cold baked ham, salads also a noodle dish with king prawns in it that had more flavour than the fresh prawns. Not a lot of desert and no ice cream. Their was 6 in our party and all were disappointed with lunch. I would never go back for a Christmas lunch.

I have ordered from your restaurant weekly for months, generally the gnocchi, but also steak and other dishes. I've stayed there and work nearby. I cannot fault the service on every level of this establishment. Everything about here, especially the food and customer service quality has been stellar. The first time I booked to stay I picked the wrong month, it was no drama solving my mistake . I I selected this place for its proximity to a work meeting. The neighborhood is decent but somewhat quiet. There's a commercial center with a grocery store not far and a gym across the street. various food places around as well, from a BBQ place (very good) to sushi. The hotel, with its restaurant, slot machines, patio, and bar, is quite popular, though it gets loud at night. The rooms lack insulation, and the door could use a weather strip, possibly allowing a cockroach to enter. Despite this, the place is generally clean, offering instant coffee/tea and snacks. Note that the hotel reception is inside the bar; look in the left corner of the room.

We visited the Salisbury Hotel for a quiet Birthday dinner. we were greeted with friendly and very hospitable staff. From entering, ordering and receiving our food was a delight. The atmosphere was perfect, with all types of people, from couples, groups and families. the entrees were spot on, delivered and very enjoyable (Herb bread and Sweet potato wedges). our 2 year old, had the children's beef burgers, which were the perfect size for a little one. the mains ordered were the BBQ pork ribs, that fell of the bone and was delicious, the vegetable side was fresh and cooked with flavor. The rumps and rib eye were cooked perfect to everyone's request and the chips were crisp and nicely seasoned. We live a bit far away to make this our regular, but we will be back.

Just so disappointing. Been going to the Salisbury for about 30 years. Today was a special occasion, I thought it would be a good place for a reunion. The beer was extortion. $9.70 for a stubby I know you can buy a carton of for $50 at their bottlo. The young man serving us was embarrassed and actually apologised. Then the waiter tried to clear my half-drunk stubby from the table!!! The food was expensive and ordinary. I had caesar salad. I had to bring my own anchovies, because keeping a jar of anchovies in the fridge for caesar salads is apparently out of the question. It was inedible! No one at our table finished their (over-priced) pub meals. I was embarrassed that i recommended the place. Ordinary, at best.

I'm a pro chef and as I've worked in many pubs and hotels around the country and it's the best place I've ever had stayed and as the staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very trendy and very tidy and it's worthwhile I'm paying for and easy access to many shops around the area and the pub is well mannered and thanks for your hospitality and cheers mate

I have come to Salisbury hotel heaps of times and it has always been great. But tonight I really wanted to make a note of the staff. Tess, the new bistro manager, was so lovely and kind. She was very thoughtful and frequently did small things that others might not notice but I noticed, and it was super appreciated. From turning on the claw machine my nephew's were trying to play on, to bringing out colouring books, to topping up a wine glass because the bottle was nearly empty. The food is always great too and fast service. Love coming here

Unfortunately this was a terrible birthday dinner for our friend. Table was booked in advance. Ordered 9 meals, took over an hour for the meals to be served. Salad meal come out 40mins earlier than other meals. When the meat meals come out x 5 , rumps, lamb rumps, eye fillet unfortunately all meats serviced cold. 1 x Lamb rump was refunded as all items on the plate cold, meat, sweet potato purée & broccoli. When you paid $34 for a meal you do except a warm meal. All guests were very disappointed and we would suggest to try other venues. Moorooka, Acacia Ridge or even Rocklea Hotel.

Overpriced for the quality and service. Entrees wings and calamari were nice but was served after a 40 minute wait. 2 minutes later the steak arrived which felt like it had sat on the counter for 15 minutes as meat was lukewarm and gravy side was stone cold. I asked for no salad and the response was "they come with salad". I know - I asked for it not to because the dressing gets all over everything around it and makes it soggy. Only rating 2 stars for the entrees but everything else was extremely subpar. I know places half the cost that blow this place out of the water. Highly recommend avoiding.

We came for Sunday lunch with my MIL and it was such a pleasant experience. The air conditioned dining room was such a lovely reprieve from the heat of the day and the soft guitar strumming from a gentleman playing, no screaming loud music, just a truly lovely ambiance. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, my husband had the wagyu beef burger and my MIL had the Christmas Turkey special. All were excellent. The parmi was so tender and well cooked, perfect. This is a great, family friendly pub to grab dinner at. There's a playground and indoor / outdoor dining options. They provide colouring packs on request and can offer the kids meal with mixed veggies instead of chips (which we love as an option!) Food is delicious and reasonably priced - we're a big fan of the Wednesday night special $20 for the Chicken Parmi and a schooner. The staff are amazing - and I'd love to give a particular shout out to Martina who patiently allows my three year old to order her own meal, and always greets us with a smile.

This is a small, intimate hotel which is always a reliable pleasant place to eat a quiet meal or hold events. I booked a Birthday lunch for 25 people. The restaurant manager & staff went out of their way to make our event special. The service was fantastic & every guest loved the food. Several family members & friends have intolerances &/or allergies & there is a wonderful range of menu items to choose from that cater for these needs. I reserved a table for 8 last week, what a disaster. The dining room was very short on staff and as much as the staff tried to satisfy everyone they could not. A number of tables were complaining, even asking for money back.. One meal especially was no where near satisfactory and not enjoyable. I wrote to Management the next day identifying the problems and asked for a reply to explain the reason. This has been adorned, which does not say much for the Management.

Not too far from city, loads of shopping and eating options around it. Beds are comfy. Shower wasn’t brilliant - water pressure a little underwhelming and temperature would vary whoever someone else flushed a toilet or turned a tap on. Still, overall a nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

Good choice of beers. Good sports bar. Free pool on Sunday. Leaving a review because I’ve been down twice this week and both times the food was absolutely excellent. Came here for dinner at the pub and had a lovely meal shared with friends. The restaurant is quite large with both indoor and outside dining, clean, relaxed vibe, and a few tv screens showing sport. Food and drinks are ordered at the bar, prices were moderate, my rump steak was $32 but it was a beautiful, large cut of meat that was cooked well with a generous side salad and chips.

Came for dinner this evening,it was really a great experience overall.Not usually go to Pubs for dinner but this was really a worth trying experience.Service was very attentive and flawless.. Lovely was so great with service and checking every small detail for us. 10/10

We went for dinner for my birthday. It was the first time and therefore a bit of a risk not knowing what to expect. We had a table of 8 and all meals were awesome. Staff were super pleasant, helpful and efficient. All our meals were delicious and arrived together. Super happy with the value, portions, service and flavour. Ambience was lovely too.. :) we'll be back! :)
