Sports have been part of almost my entire life. And because of the nature of the sports I've been doing (in competition, or physically very demanding), and because I moved a lot, I've been training in a lot of gyms: in different places in France, in Vancouver, in Montreal. SPAR Training is APART from all the gyms I've been. 1- The mindset. This is something very specific to SPAR Training. You will train hard. Like, really hard. But, unlike over gyms where you feel like you have given everything during a session and can give no more, two things will happen when you train at SPAR. 1: the coach will be here, like literally pushing you. 2: you will look around you and see the other people training, your partners. Like you, they have given everything. But they keep going and pushing. And no one quits. This creates an environment that will give you this extra push, this extra motivation that you didn't know was existing inside you, and that will keep you pushing beyond your own limits. And what happens when you train like that, being motivated in actually pushing your limits? Your mental get stronger. 2- No ego. It's not unusual to see people just showing off in gyms. Because the way you train and the way people train at SPAR, pushing hard and beyond your limits, it will make you think twice about your attitude. You will forget about your ego. And don't get me wrong: all of this, like training hard, pushing your limits, may sound like a boy's gym thing. It's not! Boys and girls are training here. And make no mistake. Every girl training here can beat your a** any time, given how hard everyone trains at SPAR. 3- The programs. One thing really hard when training is consistency. Let's be honest, it sometimes gets boring, when you do the same thing, or there is not enough variety in the exercises. This is the other thing very specific about SPAR. There are different sessions being offered, depending on what you want to train: upper body training, lower body, full body, HIIT, athletic conditioning, metabolic conditioning to test and train your cardio beyond what you can imagine... Here's the thing: each session is different. It changes every day. There is never the same circuit. It's always different. And that makes a big difference when it comes to consistency in training because you are training differently every single time. So, is it worth it? You can find other gyms cheaper than SPAR Training. But from my experience, the way you train here, the mindset here, the true dedication of every coach and the owner, Kevin, the variety of equipment, the cleanliness, everything you get here, actually make each class worth 10 times what you get in other gyms. You will train hard, you will enjoy it, you will s*ck it up beyond your limits, and become a better version of yourself, both physically and mentally.

I’ve tried my fair share of gyms and circuit trainings. SPAR is by far my top choice. At SPAR, the workouts are really well planned by a group of athletes and professional trainers who are skilled and passionate about fitness. Its hard to pick your favorite cause they’re all so good. They really focus on helping you adopt proper technique while challenging you to push past your limits. Besides the intense training that you get, the aesthetics and the raw feels of the gym is what continuously draws me back. Its fully equipped and super clean!! One of the very few gyms, if not the only one that offers a FULL 1 week free trial. I’ve only been there for less than a year, and I continuously see changes and improvements that elevate the experience!

Ce gym est un secret bien gardé à Montréal. C’est un gym focus sur les entraînements de groupe. La qualité des équipements est vraiment ce qui le démarque le plus. Le propriétaire Kevin prend vraiment soin de la propreté du site et investi continuellement dans de nouveaux appareils. J’ai fait plusieurs gym dans ma vie (orange theory, crossfit, musculation) et le cours de groupe ici est fun pour la variété et absence de blessures. Ouvert à tous les niveaux.

SPAR is by far the greatest gym Montreal has to offer. If you are looking for a welcoming and encouraging gym that motivates you, SPAR has all the above. Even on the days that I really don't want to workout, I still push myself to go because the gym's vibes encourage me to show up for myself. Not only does this gym have all the necessary equipment to perform a solid workout on your own, it has the best group workout classes you’ll find! The atmosphere is great! The trainers and members are always pushing you to do your best. Would recommend to anyone looking for a chance to take control of their body and health. I owe my fitness commitment to Spar.

Great upper body strength and conditioning class. The circuits at spar are very challenging and extremely organised . Kevin is very knowledgeable and always sets up the best workouts. Lots of equipment and the facilities are super clean.
