We stopped by recently. New owners, new everything in there, including the menu and certainly much improved. The wife had fish and chips, nothing special, she said. I had a Mexican style meal but can't remember the name, but it is a wow from me. So tasty with many flavours in the dish. My only complaint would be I expected more on the plate for the $30 price. We will be back for sure, though. With the new name came a new date and I think the new owner's are being a little cheeky with their est. 1880 when this building is from 1928. The original Railway pub was about 1880, but it was at the station. Just me liking accurate history is all. Cheers and hope they do something interesting with the top floor.

There's a ramp to go in, no auto doors, though, so hopefully, you'll have someone with you to open the big doors. Same entrance as before, but now you're entering through the new bar, which we thought was odd. Still lots of room for anyone with a disability in the main bar.

Had the parma and wife had the calamari, which we were both happy with. Went for a birthday and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. We happened to go on a Tuesday night, and the meals were discounted to $22 or thereabouts, which included a drink. I got a coke and it tasted pretty flat. The urinal at the back of the dining area (not sure if they have just the one male toilet area) reeked. It looked clean but I had to try and hold my breath it was that bad. Overall, it was a nice night. Staff were friendly, and we will happily go back.

Went for dinner last night (04/11/23) and started with the arancini balls and they were absolutely delicious but when it came to mains (pumpkin ravioli and mexican parma) we were beyond disappointed……the ravioli was 5 pieces of pasta and served just edible as it was barely even warm, the Parma was a standard Parma with “Mexican” toppings on the side (jalapeños, sour cream, avocado chunks) and topped with nearly half a bag of corn chips, minimal salad and hot chips. The service was average (you’d assume the waitress would ask how the meals were before clearing the table since there was a fair bit left, but all she said was “do you mind if I clear the table?”

Wish there was more stars I could rate them, but I guess 5 will have to do. Amazing outdoor section, with private ",booths" with the ability to control heating in each individually. I predict that all the regulars will welcome Francis and his team with open arms. Heard that the Head Chef Colin, is pretty good too. Just from a few people.

Loved the Drake and Pervies before the drake. Was so excited for reopen especially being the same people who own the Central in Beaconsfield. 9 of us went there for drinks on Saturday staff was lovely place looked great happy with drinks but there was no atmosphere or vibe for Saturday night. Damon was a great musician for sunday sips not Saturday. Dj or band would of been more suited and brought in a bigger crowd which we were happy to stay untill close but venue closed early. We will for sure be back when there is a dj on.

Renovations look great and the seating was quite comfy... The food was a bit of a let down for the pricing but the absolute kicker of the night was standing in line to pay watching a server go and check outside for someone that had done a "runner" on there bill, only to have her come back in check the tablet screen, look straight at me and my sister and go ohhh those are the people. Seriously, couldn't check the line before assuming someone left without paying?

We had a lovely night out here tonight. I've been here a few times before and never been disappointed, tonight was no exception. The food came out promptly and was nice and hot. It tasted amazing, we had the Korean rice bowl, the Char Sui rice bowl and the seafood hot pot. Meals were all very generous and well priced too! Cannot speak highly enough of this place!

We had our second visit last night since the re-opening. Same as our first visit, we weren't disappointed. entree of popcorn chicken and cob loaf shared between us was spot on. Beautifully renovated pub with it's old school charm, and new sports bar. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Menu was not as extensive as hoped, but the food was cooked beautifully. Meals were quite large, but the price reflects this. Overall a great family night out, and we are looking forward to some nice weather to get back into the beer garden!

Thought we'd go for dinner since the rebranding. I had a parma, husband had an Aussie Parmalat and kids had nuggets and chips. Food came out super quick and service was great, lovely staff. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is because it would be great to see a cheeseburger on the kids menu.

Went out for mothers day and the service was actually really nice and good, though they forgot to mention where to order. I had ordered the Spaghetti Pescatore which was amazing, plenty of flavour and plenty of seafood varieties. Would go back again without a doubt. Everyone else's meals were great too.
