Unfortunately I cannot say I had a good experience. I bought a hair package FULL head of foils, cut blow dry etc. The foils are very uneven and only the top of my head and sides were done, the bottom was not done! They use recycled foil that is lumpy and bulky you cannot achieve even foils like this. Foil is so inexpensive why do this!! My cut.... what can I say this was SHOCKING, one side was about 2 inches longer than the other side and the layers were uneven. I took photos, its appalling to say the least. I have curly hair and it was cut wet, it should have been cut dry and straight to achieve an even cut. When it was wet and curly the debacle was not evident until I straightened it that night!! I had to go to another hairdresser the next day on Sunday to have my hair fixed and restyled. Oh and before I forget I walked in and was not even greeted, no one introduced themselves at all. I was just told as I stepped into the door "come sit down". I CANNOT recommend this salon.

Nice lady doing my hair. However, the foils were uneven and you can see clear lines between my dyed hair and my natural hair. Only noticed this when I got home. Looked fine from the front but she never showed me the back with a mirror like what most stylist would do ( I just trusted it to look good). So my balayage looks amateur. I guess that's what you get when you use a Groupon voucher. The haircut and blow dry itself was fine. Even though I did get a half head foil package from Groupon as a gift and not a balayage service it was suggested by the hairdresser that she can just touch up my balayage rather than do the half head foil. So the expectations should be the same regardless of the package. Half head foils or balayage should still look nice. Edit 2023 This colour application damaged my hair. Took my new stylist two sessions to "repair" it. Over a year for it to regrow. Will never ever recommend this hairdresser again.

To make this short, my partner went to this salon to get her hair coloured and asked for A and got B, something completely different. The hairdresser cutting her hair was nice but did what she wanted not want my partner asked for, as the hairdresser thought it would look better her way. My partner was in tears when she got home, understandably as hair is a special thing for women. She is very disappointed of the outcome, she recommends for any young female’s looking to get their hair coloured/foils here, this is not the place to go. She does not recommend.

I have had my hair coloured, cut and a smoothing treatment done so far over several visits and I can’t recommend both Sandy & Rachel highly enough. They are both so friendly and do a great job with my hair. They are so reasonably priced as well and I couldn’t be happier with all services I have had. After 8 years with my last hairdresser who moved away I have found my perfect fit hairdressing salon - thanks Sandy & Rachel

Have just moved to the area and Rachel got me in quickly, had me in and out in a flash with a colour and foils that looked great, was super knowledgeable and nice, and so competitive on price I couldn't believe it. The next day she fit my 3 year old daughter in for an haircut and was so gentle and lovely that she didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be a regular that’s for sure!

My first time at this studio and I was very VERY impressed! Great little salon find. One on one attention all the time! Normally I am wasting 3 hours for my hair and today I was in and out in 1.5 hours which was awesome! And the price - fantastic! I will be back. First time attending this salon. The ladies were absolutely lovely, and matched my hair to my picture perfectly. They gave great knowledge and advice for my hair. The end result is spectacular. Also very affordable, especially for the work they provide. Thank you ladies; I’ll definitely be coming to you all the time.

The staff members were so lovely but I did not get what I expected. I went to get some highlights (12 foils) and I can not even see any color on my hair. I said that it is my first time so I believe its there responsibility to explain me properly. I just paid for a cut and a blow dry. kinda disappointed.

Great service, great prices. Rachel looks after her customers & is a very good hairdresser. This is a quaint hairdressing salon with no frills, which I prefer, as I don't believe in paying for the fancy chairs, glass of wine etc, but I am happy to pay for a good hair cut & I enjoy the conversations.

Rachael is an amazing cutter of strong wirey hair with a strong curl..... This is no mean fete I assure you. Also when the colour wasn't quite weekday I was looking for, Rachael was happy to make changes without any issues at all. A genuinely lovely lady. Thankyou.

Rachel is amazing, I've been going to her for years and I always get an incredible result for an affordable price. Location is great especially being next to the IGA and bakery, making Saturday shopping very easy. There is always plenty of parking available.

I have been going to RJ's for a few years. Rachel is always polite and does a great cut. No problem asking for more off if needed and is quick. Listens and cuts as requested, good prices. Would highly recommend.
