The track is showing a few signs of its age but I probably wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't been a rainy evening because it is still exceptionally well maintained. Being able to train under the lights is kinda magical, especially in summer, and it's a bargain at $6. Even when the track is quite busy, the users seem to respect each other's space and their right to train, and I haven't found it disruptive even though I'm normally so easily distracted. It's in a lovely spot up on the hill with views of the surrounding forest. There are ample toilet, shower and change facilities and I've never had a problem parking close by. The staff are friendly and I appreciated that they announced the storm warnings so promptly and even let us know how far away the lightning strikes were occurring.
Fantastic athletics training facility. Have watched some awesome athletic competitions here. Also there have been some great music concerts. Awesome new throws facility being built at the moment to cater for javelin, discus, shot put, hammer. Update- National Throws Centre now open. Lots of renovations going on inside the main office building. All new signage outside and painting works going on. FIFA - womens is here - July 2023 Matilda's will be training here. This is a fantastic venue. One of many for Stadiums Queensland.
They have many events on here. I was working on a construction site just next to the stadium. There was a big event on and being one of the best locations for large events in the south side. I liked the walk up to the stadium. It was a good days work had a ham and cheese toasty from the cafe on the hill. There was a business expo on down the way. And the stadium was huge. I recommend it to any large events.
The best facilities in the state, worthy of being called the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre. Truly state of the art and worthy of being our state's premier facility. Great outdoor tracks and field for multiple sports, pool facilities and excellent indoor facilities including high performance gym and meeting rooms and offices.
Everything was beautiful and deserving a 5 star rating other than one inconvenience. After spending a small fortune on the VIP rap god party experience I was a bit annoyed to have to stand in line in the sun for an hour to get in. It was a bloody hot day after all. Saying that it was very enjoyable.
First visit there very impressed. But for me the steps were very steep and inside the stadium no rails to hold on to. Had to ask for help to get down to seats and was rather difficult going back up them. Cafe shop 5/10. . Luckily we found a car space in parking area not too far away.
Probably needs better signage, and the benches, while standard were hell on my back. As a stadium it was mostly fine. Person with me found taking those steps with bad knees and nothing to grab not only difficult, but terrifying however.
The synthetic track and grass are impeccable. More facilities and better parking would be a bonus, but the place was built a long time ago and revamped. Top notch surfaces. Well done 4.5.
QSAC this place is the best stadium I have been in Brisbane everyone is friendly & Welcoming to QSAC Stadium. it's $5 entry fee for how ever long you want to Train. ( Good luck )
Great Venue, utilised the boardroom facilities. Cafe inside ideal for a large show, making it very convenient. Ample parking, and easily located. Well see you next year
A wonderful resource for the city. Great for schools to run carnials in a well resourced and set up area. Well done to the staff who organised the carnival.
Good venue but it needs more food outlets & the metal grandstand needs updating to prevent people from burning themselves on seats & handrails on hot days.
Great venue for athletes to train in. For a small fee of $5 per athlete, it is great value for money. Staff are also very friendly. Check it out sometime!
Great athletics track and field facilities. We participated in the main stadium which had plenty of seats. Warm up was at the adjacent, smaller stadium.
Went here for Monster Jam 2017 and it was fantastic. Highly recommend it. Other than that the running track and athletics area also looks amazing.
If your an Athlete great place to train with your peers : Your children , Friends , Families Etc etc $5.00 entry Fee Monday to Fridays
