As a previous retail worker and even previous employee of accent group I can tell you the service I received at this store tonight made me feel really uncomfortable. Unfortunately due to the staff member that “served” me I wasn’t willing to spend the $250 I was going to on a pair of DM’s. Not only was I spoken down to when asking if there was womens sizing available due to a size 12 being on display “well they’re a womens shoe so obviously”. After asking if there was a 38 in stock I was then asked what a 38 was in US sizing because you don’t go by the euro size that’s on the box (fair enough your system doesn’t but with docs that are unisex it’s easier to read the Euro sizing and I was just trying to help). Again, spoken down to like I’m an inconvenience. I was then clicked at to get my attention once the shoes had been brought out, handed the box and wasn’t attended to until I went up to the counter 10 minutes later. I then asked if it was possible to put the shoes on hold for an hour as it was a large box and I still had some shopping to do. He responded “we close in an hour” and rolled his eyes… I have worked in footwear and don’t need a lot of help when it comes to trying and buying things in store. But I actually felt so uncomfortable and I really didn’t want my sale to go to someone who was really rude and didn’t put in any effort. If you want proof watch your cameras from about 7:50pm 07/07/22. Purple jumper blonde hair. Won’t be coming here again after that.. absolutely horrific experience. P. S. I’ve never written a review of anything, it was THAT bad.

Great customer service. Good range of sneakers of various brands and they seem to hold some large shoe size stock too. The had more of a range for larger sizes and had not sold out as quickly as other stores at each visit. The also host a collection of classic and limited edition Doc Martins which is great for those who love their docs. I will try to take better photos another day because it’s a fab store and my photos were a bit limited as it was closing time when I popped past. Enjoy the visit and hope the staff treat you well :-)

Huge disappointment! The staff tricks with prices. It's promising at the entrance 50% discount (at $99,99 - see the photos), when attempt to buy, staff can't find proper sizes and offer the same model, but in other colour and DO NOT tell you that it's in double($200) cost UNTIL you come to cashier to pay. My wife was so upset! I'm not stupid, I don't play such games. Never again to buy from Platypus - there're plenty of honest sellers around. BTW: The same shoes were always available at $150 on Amazon.

The store assistant, Chelsea, was amazing and super helpful. I’m going on holidays and I wanted to try on quite a few different pairs of shoes for my trip. Chelsea was so patient and grabbed all the different sizes and styles I needed and gave great advice.

Had the best service from a lovely girl in the Platypus Chermside store, (Zhina/Zina) very helpful, professional and went the extra mile for excellent customer service which many stores these days lack. Definitely an asset to the store. Thank you

Good customer service and good prices too! On the other hand i bought one of their shoe cleaner starter kits with a brush and spray and i don’t think it works as good as they claim it does. I rather spend those $15 in a burrito or something else.
