Following our car accident in August 2022, my mother and I were assessed by our family doctor, who determined that we were showing symptoms of minor injuries (whiplash, neck and back strains, etc.). As a result, she referred us immediately to a rehab clinic (PhysioCare & Rehab, Grand Park Plaza, 719 Central Parkway West, #205, Mississauga), specifically to Chiropractor Dr. Laila Merchant, for assessment and treatment. At that time, Dr. Laila Merchant was off, so the other on-duty Chiropractor, Dr. Kanchan Bhimani, took the time to see and assess us and start our first therapy session right away. Since then and over the course of over 4 months now, Dr. Bhimani was our primary Chiropractor. On one occasion, Dr. Merchant treated my mother. Overall, both Chiropractors did a wonderful job in helping us with our recovery, using various techniques/treatments as they saw fit. They were very friendly, caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and answered any questions that we had. We also recognize the hard work of their assistants, namely Kajol, Payal, Dishee, Irene, Aditi, Nidhi; we apologize if we have missed listing any other assistant. We also thank the Manager, Monica, and the front desk staff (mainly Firoza and Suveen; Shrey, whom we never met but only spoke with over the phone; and Heather who checked us in on one occasion) for their assistance and appointment scheduling. We apologize if we have not spelled anyone’s name correctly. There were a few instances where we had to follow-up with the clinic to correct paperwork info, but this was resolved to our satisfaction. Thank you once again Dr. Bhimani, Dr. Merchant and all your staff for everything. We will definitely follow your instructions/advice and continue doing our exercises at home in order to remain healthy and pain-free. We would recommend anyone to your clinic who has similar (MVA) injuries or needs any kind of chiropractic or other therapy/treatment. We wish you continued success for years to come. I've been coming to PhysioCare & Rehab for over 12 years now. Dr Laila Merchant is by far the best Chiropractor in the GTA and arguably the best in the province. I've had back problems and she has fixed them, I've had bad neck paid, and she's fixed it. The best part about Dr Laila Merchant is that she doesn't lie to you and make you come back every day to take all your insurance money in one shot. If she's given me an adjustment, the majority of the time she tells me to make an appt in a week if I'm not feeling better. This is why she is so amazing. Every year I get orthodics and orthopedic shoes after Dr Laila has recommended them to me and she has never made a mistake in her assessment of my feet and it's always the best day of the year when I get a call from the office advising that my new orthodics and orthopedic shoes are in for me to pick up!! The staff at PhysioCare & Rehab have been there for as long as I have been going and staff like Monika, know her stuff and are always there to make everything easy from making an appt, making insurance claims, to knowing what your insurance will cover you for. So thanks to Dr Laila Merchant for being such a caring, mindful, respectful, and professional Doctor, your the best!! I have been doing all treatments for years at this clinic and always am pleasantly surprised the relief from my pain is amazing. The sessions are private and very satisfying with no uncomfortable moments and the staff is very polite and welcoming and extremely helpful. Dr. Laila in particular, is simply the best. I appreciate that I can explain my particular issue, and she will customize a treatment to alleviate whatever is causing me problems. She uses a variety of techniques to make certain the problem improves. I travel frequently for business and the hours of sitting on the plane, carrying my bags through airports makes me stiff, sore and miserable. Dr. Laila is able to restore my body to the right alignment and range of motion. I can't recommend them high enough. Dr. Laila is my favorite, if she's not available I can explain what I need and the staff will pair me with the person best suited to address my issue; they don't just put you with who ever is open. Their whole staff will listen to your concerns and issues if you are vocal about sharing them; they'll do what they can to make sure you feel fabulous when you leave. I feel these adjustments have made a huge difference in my recovery, training and over all well being and hope to be a member for many more years to come! I strongly recommend this clinic to the General public.

The quality of care provided here is absolutely amazing, especially amidst this covid-19 pandemic. The staff are diligent with cleaning, temperature checks and social distancing that I feel not only safe but reassured that every surface has been disinfected that I can keep my sole focus on recovering. In terms of the physio care this is the best experience I've had to date, every level of staff from reception to Dr. Laila have a vested interest in my recovery. I've had negative experiences in the past with different physio therapy locations where it felt like I was on an assembly line being treated by a different person each time who would be unfamiliar with my condition and ultimately provided the bare minimum in treatment. Therefore it is such a great feeling when I am treated by the same people who not only have and in depth understanding of my condition they also continually ask before every session what is improving or what is hurting so they can adjust the treatments for that day. Furthermore if someone else needs to switch in for my treatments they make sure to consult my file and the doctor on how to proceed. I first came in limping with stabbing pain in my heels and a limited range of motion, now I'm walking normally, pain free with a smile on my face!

I met with an accident and was referred to Physiocare by my family physician, which turned out to be the best ever. Right from the front desk staff to the assistants to the doctors..everyone is incredible. I have been under the treatment of Dr. Alekya, Dr. Harpreet and Dr. Laila. All three of them are amazing at their job. My neck and headaches were very well taken care of by Alekya and so is the back being taken care of by Harpreet and Laila. Everyone in the clinic goes beyond and above to make you feel comfortable and help in your recovery. All three doctors were empathetic and even put in extra efforts during my worse days to help reduce the pain. The clinic accommodated me into their busy schedules and even for last minute visits. Infact, they handled all the hassle I faced from WSIB. Getting appointments are so difficult with any other clinics but not them. The place is clean and organized. They took extra precautions to clean everything before I or anyone of their patients entered for treatment. I recommended them to all my family and friends in need. Keep up the good work all of you! I am pretty sure I’ll visit even after my recovery!

Recently my wife got excellent service and treatment at Physiocare & Rehab after her car accident; however we have been going there for many years; Dr. Laila Merchant is very experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate as well as courteous, caring and personable. Her main strength is diagnostic and assessment of the discomfort and pain. Initially I went for chronic pain in my lower back, she did the treatment by employing stretching and strengthening exercises together with Therapy equipment and hands on treatments which minimized the back pain, but she recommended me to use Orthotics which really helped me in fully recovering from the back pain. She has a very energetic, professional and dedicated team of physiotherapists and support staff. Front desk is proactive, organized and helpful in documentation and paperwork. Patient rooms are properly sterilized after every visit. I have recommended friends and family and everyone appreciated the services they received at this clinic. I must applaud Dr. Laila and her team for maintaining professionalism and high standards of service over the years.

Not sure what happen with this place, I was treated here 6 years ago by a physiotherapist and received shockwave therapy during few months, and my problem was gone, they did a very good job then. This year I asked my family doctor to refer me again but the experience was totally different, I have been treated for few months by different people, some of them were very knowledgeable unfortunately no one followed up with my treatment, every time I went, I was treated by someone different and sometimes they did not even know where my pain was, at some point I felt that making sure they used up all my benefits and selling me some stuff was more important than taking care of my health issue. After few months of treatment my pain is almost the same and my benefits run out. Not sure what happen with the place maybe it changed owners, or administration? or they are short of physiotherapists? the service is just not the same, I cant recommend this place, and I will also share my experience with my Family Doctor so he is aware that the quality of service is not as it used to be.

I have been coming to this place for over 10 years, Dr. Laila Merchant is the best chiropractor I have ever come across. she has always accommodated me base don my university or work schedule. my entire family including my parents get their treatment from here. She submit the claim to insurance companies and makes it super easy to book the sessions required. they provide physio, massage RMT, chiro, and other services as well. They advise you of your sessions eligibility from your insurance and the amount covered, so everything is clarified before booking and paying for the sessions. She has always been so amazing. She is very sweet. She personalizes ever single visit of mine. She makes me feel very comfortable and to such see diversed community of working in this rehab Centre is amazing. If you are looking for a chiro with the knowledge, experience, and comfort level, Dr. Laila Merchant at physio care and rehab is the right one to go to. They have an amazing admin and management system who will take care of you and all your queries.

I had knee surgery on July 9th and it was a patellofemoral reconstruction. After two weeks of bed rest, I’ve been going to PhysioCare and they’ve helped me so much, that now I’m up and walking and bending my knee. The front desk is super friendly and the physiotherapy assistants are very helpful and kind. They make sure you are comfortable and feel relaxed and they call you “Dear” so it made me feel like I was at my grandmas house. It made me comfortable. Some people might not like being called “dear” but that doesn’t take away from them doing their job. And then the physiotherapist is really nice too. She sparks up conversations and is interested in talking about what’s been going on in your life, while she works on treating you. For me, it was like a second home and I couldn’t thank them enough for helping me get back on my feet. My knee is still a work in progress but I wouldn’t be where I’m at right now, if it wasn’t for them. Thanks for everything you guys did for me!!!

Dr. Laila is an extremely kind soul with magic hands and tremendous knowledge of how to fix a human body. I have had some really complicated epicondylitis stuff along with numbing and back issues that was all inter related like one thing gets worse if the other is left over. She really knows chiro and physio stuff so well that within seconds she can diagnose the problem and fix it without a doubt. Hands down eyes closed I trust her completely and feel blessed to have a person like her help me relieve my pains and make me feel like a totally new person. All of their other physiotherapists are extremely skilled and trustworthy as well. The assistants are courteous and helpful too. They will know what you need. There are no conflicts whatsoever and the bookings and all are very well managed. Very clean place with lots of facilities. Whoever is unsure about their chiro, please get over there and relax. They will fix you well........

I have been receiving treatment from PysioCare $ Rehab for an ankle injury since March 2020.Initially I was rather apprehensive about going in for treatment at a health care facility amidst the pandemic. The protocol at PhysioCare and Rehab is stellar! Dr Leila and her staff are extremely courteous, professional , efficient and dedicated. They have treatment that is customized to fit the needs of the patient as opposed to a one treatment fits all approach. I really need to mention Parmanjeet, my physiotherapist, she is truly amazing. The team at PhysioCare & Rehab are great. They are very efficient and there is virtually no wait time. They stayed open throughout the pandemic to serve their clients. They deal directly with insurance which saves a lot of hassle. The staff always know what's going on, their organizational strategy is perfect. They truly do care and it shows. I went there for physio treatments for my shoulder, wrist, and left knee, all of which were battered and bruised from tennis. My knee and wrist have fully recovered through exercise, treatment, and the braces that they custom ordered for me. I still get treatments for my shoulder and I look forward to it. I also get my orthotics here. They have yet to disappoint me! Highly recommend.

I visited the clinic over a 2-month period for multiple therapy sessions (physio, acupuncture, massage) to address the pain in my arm due to working conditions. The support staff was warm, helpful and supportive throughout and the doctors (Dr. Anuja, Dr. Laila and Ali) diligently tracked the progress and tailored the procedures to help me recover from the pain. Was never left waiting for care at the clinic. I went from days where the pain started about 10-15 mins into my workday at the desk to being able to breeze through my workday without any pain in about 3 weeks. Needless to say, they recommended effective exercises throughout the process to ensure that the benefits of therapy were sustained.

Recommended at every level. Dr. Laila looks and studies your case in detail and tailors the treatment according to all your needs, gives you time, explains things, answers all your questions. Each time I've left the clinic very satisfied and although its a 20 minute drive from my place, I plan on sticking here. The other physiotherapists I've worked with are just as great and so is the staff at the reception. Really efficient plus every one is really friendly and it makes the whole atmosphere of the clinic pretty comforting itself. It's important to feel comfortable during physio and chiro work being done on you. Plus of course the treatment is working really really well for me. 5+ stars!

Dr. Laila is a gifted Chiropractor. I have had back pain for quite a long time which used to occur more while doing the gym specially the back exercise. She did the hip alignment and Just after the first session with her I could see tremendous improvement in my lower back pain. Her second session was even better and I feel very light and comfortable. I highly recommend her. Not only she’s the best in her profession but also the gem of a person. She’s very compassionate and caring. Her clinic is well kept with an amazing staff. You never feel rushed during your appointment and they all offer a little extra care. Dr Layla is great. She works with you down to the minute details of your concerns. I have received some acupuncture treatments from her and they truly help elevate pain. I have had lingering sports related injuries from rugby and basketball and she has helped get rid of some of the issues. Dr. Harpreet is equally as good. Her massages and chiropractic treatments got rid of years of pain and misalignment. Now my body feels great. At 23, it is better to deal with these problems now rather than later. In all, I strongly suggest you consult with Dr. Layla and Dr. Harpreet for your needs.

I've been coming to Physiocare & Rehab for almost four years now, seeking treatment for TMJ and neck pain. Dr. Laila has consistently provided stellar treatment and excellent advice for my pain and healing progress, and she's helped me regain full jaw movement over time. Dr. Laila and all the stuff in PhysioCare & Rehab are amazing! I have TMJ and was desperate to find the right care. Dr. Laila is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in this matter. She uses a breath of treatments including physio, acupuncture, TMJ massage and has specialized stuff that further complements her work. My jaw opening went from only 28mm to 42mm in just 1 month of treatment and has continued to improve since. Being able to speak, eat and yawn normally, without pain or joint cracking, seemed unattainable but now feels normal and real!

This establishment is extremely efficient and cognisant of the patient's health and well-being. The staff listens to your concerns and are diligent in finding solutions. I was referred to Dr. Laila by my family doctor after a diagnosis of lower lumbar compression, which was the cause of debilitating pain. I was having difficulty walking, sitting and even sleeping comfortably. Dr Laila and her staff have been caring and have been able to treat my condition with much success. As a result, I have minimal pain and now able to enjoy many everyday activities that most people take for granted. I am very grateful for their attentiveness and care. I had bad experience coming to this place. Staff was unprofessional. When I came around 2-3 afternoon not a single person in front desk. I speak to a woman that came out from massage room and I ask what's the earliest available appointment they have, and replied to me that ("SORRY WE ARE CLOSE, IT'S LUNCH TIME.") I was Not even accommodated. NOT EVEN ASKING HOW CAN I HELP YOU SIR. 2pm -3pm was close due to a lunch break? How unprofessionals staffs are. (I was a patient here before)

Physio Care & Rehab(Grand Park) does phenomenal work. I have been seeing Dr. Laila Merchant for multiple years now for chiropractic treatment on my back. Being a healthcare worker myself my back and body takes on a lot of stress. Dr. Merchant has save my back countless times. I have been going to Physiocare and Rehab for the past 3 months. And since then I can’t stop talking about Dr Layla. Finally, there is someone who really cares about her patients. Dr Layla is very compassionate and genuinely caring. Her staff is amazing as well. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait to see her but it is so so worth it. Dr Laila Merchant has been an exceptional Chiropractor /Acupuncturist in helping with my recovery. I had a concussion and got referred to her by my family doctor. Her knowledge and professionalism has helped me recover from my symptoms during the initial period when I was not able to get appointments at the concussion clinic. Ongoing treatments with her have also helped me with the whiplash. The assistants and receptionists are also very welcoming and pleasant.

I have been going to this place since 2019.My GP referred me to Dr.Laila Merchant as I had tremendous pain on my neck and right hand. She diagnosed the cause of pain and treated me meticulously with her expertise. This is the best place to get cure. As I had ankle issue and was not able to walk, run or do my Gym and saw 3 chiropracors but no solution.Dr . Laila diagnosed and in 20 days. I was able to do my Gym regularly with no issues and honestly this is the best place. Thank you Dr. Laila and your team Also recently I have rotator cuff issue and in 15 days of treatment, it's 65% relived and again able to perform my gym routine. Awesome and best place to get pain free.

I was in extreme pain in my right thigh. My GP and 4 Orthopedic surgeons had given me 3 cortisone injections and a rheumatologist had also done her bit but I ended up being taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Then I was recommended to Laila who did her magic. She got me walking within two weeks and the pain was almost gone in a month. I have been going to her for maintenance ever since. Amazing, helpful, friendly and empathetic team.!!!!!!

What a team they have! Amazing. Dr Annette and Dr laila have magical hands and they target the exact muscles which need the treatment. I had Supraspinatus muscle tear and severe pain in my collar muscles and i feel alot better now. I got the reports after continuous treatment and the muscles recovered well. I walked into this office with a big back pain 10 days ago and I got checked by Dr Laila. Too many staff taking care of me I felt like I'm being passed around . Front lady is rude . Ladies in there are running patients in and out quickly . It is small place with curtain covers very thight . Dr Laila tells her patients to give good reviews nit sure if a Doctor should be doing this it's not appropriate. Place is garbage and is not well managed. There are few good places near by I would highly recommend.

I have been experiencing excruciating pain for my Plantar Fasciitis issue from Jan 2020 and was recommended to see Dr Laila. Dr Laila is a miracle worker. She has the ability to pin point and problem within an instant and more often then not just requires a single session to set you right on on the path to recovery. This is the type of rehab facility that double/triple-books clients and you only see the actual specialist for 5 minutes. I spent a ton of time waiting in a room alone during my first appointment and for all of these reasons, I won't be booking a second appointment, returning or recommending this business to others.

It was comforting to know that my frozen shoulder would be looked after.My range of motion was less than 10% when I first arrived there. Very knowledgeable staff. Answered all my questions. My shoulder quickly had a 90% range of motion back with in 4 visits. I would highly recommend PhysioCare. They truly do care!

I hurt my back and found that taking a deep breath would cause my back to spasm painfully. Dr. Laila Merchant was able to quickly diagnose the cause of the pain and within two sessions of therapy I was able to function normally. She is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.
