I was referred to Paws at Prospect through my regular vet. I'm so pleased that I went here instead of the other eye specialist clinic, as my old boy is quite sensitive and needs a gentle touch. Dr Gavin is so warm and had a real calming affect on my dog. Obviously no surgery is inexpensive but Dr Gavin took the time to explain the different costs involved and I felt as though I was offered a highly valuable service. The ophthalmology surgery was a great success and I know where to go if my doggo has eye problems again in future. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Gavin and Paws at Prospect.

Wow, our new Vet is brilliant. Gavin was superb and took so much time with us. Truly outstanding compassion and service, and we are truly grateful. Paws at Prospect is an excellent vet practice we have been clients of both Gavin and Sara both very caring vets. Recently our old guy Coco (16.5 years old) was very ill and had to be euthanised, we saw Sara and she was a wonderful combination of compassion and concern. The vet was very thorough, gave me practical instructions for home care of my elderly dog, with kidney failure. After two consultations experimenting with various medicines, he gave the option to pick up repeat medications without always needing more consultations. This is what i believe is a really practical approach, as my dog needs to be comfortable at this end of life stage with his incurable condition.

I have such gratitude and respect for Dr Gavin who literally saved my dog's eye. Dr Gavin is so patient and genuinely caring. I've also appreciated his willingness to communicate and share information and ideas to come up with an effective treatment plan for my boy. Paws at Prospect Vet is such a great vet. The Vet, Vet Nurses, All Staff are so wonderful and friendly. They are not our regular Vet, but my girl had to have eye surgery and this is one of their specialities, I highly recommend them for all your pet needs. Their level of care and compassion is so wonderful and everything was explained so clearly.

We were referred to Gavin by our regular vet for a non-healing ulcer in our girl's eye. He is super knowledgeable and we had full confidence going into surgery. Highly recommended!!! So good to find a vet who inspires confidence after some bad previous experiences with other canine specialists.

I came in at closing time after my dog and I were attacked by 2 other dogs. The love compassion understanding and care they showed was outstanding. While I was in with my dog my daughter was kept entertained by staff in the waiting room. My dog was definitely in capable trusting hands.

So caring! My mum's cat needed to be put down and they were very caring, and took Blue (mum's cat) to my car for me. They were very respectful of her body, and carefully placed her in my car wrapped in a towel. She is now in my garden. Thankyou ladies.

Dr Gavin is one of the most experienced and best vets in Adelaide. I would absolutely recommend him, especially for eye problems. I have brought 3 dogs to him for different serious eye problems and every time have had the best outcome possible.
