La propriétaire Paula a réussi là ou d’autres ont échoué. J’avoue qu’après une couleur morne (des balayages ratés foncés cendrés au lieu de doré), j’ai maintenant une coloration chaude en harmonie avec mon teint. Je n’y croyais plus beaucoup, et là, le résultat bluffant a dépassé mes attentes, bravo Paula! Paula est très professionnelle, rien ne lui échappe et on voit qu’elle est passionnée par son métier. Elle est très gentille et patiente, le résultat est garanti. C’est une excellente coiffeuse. Elle a vraiment pris le temps de me conseiller de A à Z, ce qui est de plus en plus rare lorsqu’on va chez un coiffeur. Là, c’est véritablement la propriétaire du salon qui prend soin de nous. Comme j’ai les cheveux abimés, Paula a évité de me faire les mèches, et j’ai opté pour le traitement Tanino, une vraie merveille : cheveux lisses, très hydratés, plus aucun frisottis, brillants. Après les avoir lavés, ils redeviennent lisses en passant moins de temps au séchoir. Je suis vraiment ravie de la prestation (couleur, Tanino et coupe), que du bonheur. J’ai pris des soins sans silicones ni sulfates, moins chers que Kerastase. Le salon est très propre, cosy et Paula nous gâte avec son original plateau de breuvages et de chocolats raffinés, quelle générosité! Merci infiniment Paula d’avoir répondu à mes attentes! Toute femme devrait connaître ce salon, je vous le recommande les yeux fermés!

I went there to get a curly perm. I had a really good feeling at first, sent pictures of my hair to Paula and pictures of what I would like. She assured that she could do what was on the pictures, so I was happy. Although when I got there, she started saying we should downsize on the curls, don't know if it will hold, etc etc... Started saying that my bangs were too short and "poor her" that she has to work with that. Anyways, I felt super uncomfortable, nothing was going according to plan. After the appointment, she showed me how to care for my hair with the perm. I did everything she asked and oh boy! I'm gonna need to cut at least 10-15 cm of my hair because it looks terrible. It's super frizzy, the curls don't hold, it looks like a mess. I wish she would have been more upfront about the risks of getting a perm? Not get my hopes up maybe? I don't know, I feel pretty let down, and for 350$, I leggit feel ripped off.

I usually never write reviews, but Paula is so amazing that I had to write one. My experience was amazing since day one, I had a hair colouring as well as Tanino Protein Treatment. The hair colour was exquisite, did not have amoniac so it was super gentle on my hair and my skin (I am extremely sensitive). The Tanino Hair Straightening treatment IS probably the best choice that I have ever done for my hair (I have done colouring, other keratin treatments, bleaching). My hair was super damaged but Paula came to rescue. She was very accomodating when I told her that I had a very busy schedule, she tried to find a good time for me. She is extremely talented, patient and experienced. Her prices are absolutely worth it. Merci Paula, j’aime mes cheveux il sont très beaux!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️ vous êtes la meilleure coiffeuse que j’ai eu!!! Very precise and versatile cuts that last a long time and are adapted to your facial shape. I have been to Paula 3 times since July 2020 and I swear I have not had any bad hair days since then, even though I was growing out an undercut during that time! She's also way more affordable than snootier salons that start with A, plus I find the service is calmer and more personal here. During these infectious times I also appreciate Paula's attention to hygiene and cleanliness. She will take your temp and ask you to clean your shoes and hands, and she also wears a mask and face shield. The vibe is comforting and under control, not germ-freakish paranoia. Handy tip: she offers free parking behind the building, via the alley from Lincoln just before Saint Mathieu, or turn right from de Maisonneuve just after the Presse Café.

Absolutely horrible service and does not consider any respect when contacting customers. She used rude tone and disrespectful words in English /Arabic /French to state we have wasted her time. Simply by leaving a message to inquire for future service. Furthermore, no phones were picked up for numerous phone calls through out the day. We had a bridal party and set up for 7-10 females willing to bring the business such salon we had hope for. Absolutely not considering this for any future. Especially being the disrespectful tone and treatment was for a bride who is short on time and was truly hopeful.

Paula is simply amazing! I made an appointment on very short notice after seeing all the wonderful reviews here from past clients and I was certainly not disappointed. She is very accommodating, kind and professional, and most importantly I love the way she cut and styled my hair. She took the time to look over pictures with me and discuss styles. She provided an excellent consultation from her years of experience while also being very attentive to the look and style that I was going for. I absolutely love the result and I will definitely be returning to see her!

I did a curly perm with her. Before starting I showed her picture of what type of curl I wanted and she told me she could do it and the result would be similar. I really wanted tight curl and it turn out more like a wavy look. Even if it was not what I had asked for, the result was pretty so I didn’t ask for a refund. I have no doubt that Paula is an excellent hairdresser. The health of your hair is her priority. I could go back for a color or a cut but not for a curly perm.

I just came here today to get a haircut. Appointment is quick and can be placed online or by telephone. Paula is very nice and accommodating. I showed her a photo of the haircut I wanted, she provided suggestions and it turned out really great! I'm glad I trusted her suggestion. Place is very clean and spacious. Covid precautions are well observed here. Price point for haircut is great because I am happy with the service. I highly recommend this place.

Very good experience. Easy to make an appointment online and she called with a reminder the day before. Was in and out in under an hour. Currently, only one person at a time can enter. Paula was very nice and efficient and, aside from length, trusted her to do her thing. Was very happy with final result. There is a $10% student discount so total came to $35 flat.

Went for a haircut to change my look Booked a free consultation first , it was done in 5 minutes then even though she was fully booked, she adjusted me in her schedule on saturday and did a beautiful haircut, quick service. It was nice talking to her. Good place. Only point I felt was that it was $35 on her site but she charged me $40. Other than that all good.

Je recommande totalement ce salon. Il est facile de prendre rendez-vous par internet et il est quand même possible de l’appeler pour voir s’il y a d’autres dispo avant. Paula est très à l’écoute de ce que nous voulons. Le prix est seulement de 30$ avec taxes pour une bonne coupe et bon service (elle offre café et petit chocolat).

I'm so thankful to have discovered Paula. Her haircuts have helped me look fantastic every day even though my hair is naturally wild and frizzy. It's so easy to style and never feels like I am overdue for a cut even after months between appointments. I don't know how she does it. She has legit gotten me through this pandemic.

I paid 300 for nothing!. My wife went there to get a curl hair perm and no results at all. First consultation was told her hair was perfect for curls, then at the appointment she was told that the final results was going to be less than my wife expected and at the end that was the result after 48 hrs. disappointed
