My experience here yesterday night described in one word would be "meh". The bread bar was an interesting idea, but the grill was super dirty, over smoking and the bread was toast lol. I had a moscow mule as a drink and for the price, I was really not impressed. Firstly, my cup was only 2/3 filled, most of it cubed (and not crushed) ice. You could barely taste the alcohol, the ginger and lime were nowhere to be found. Super watery and unpleasant experience. The service was uber slow, it took over half an hour to get our drinks, including my husband's- which was beer. The meals were really, really basic and way overpriced. I make much better lasagna at home and paying 22$ + tax + tip for a tiny portion with barely any meat and cheese made me feel cheated. The flavors weren't even memorable, no spices or herbs. My husband paid over 40$ for the veal that was super thin and way overcooked. We waited well over 1h15 to be served our meals and were disappointed. We were there for a friend's birthday, but will no be returning. At these prices and waits, the food and drinks needs to exceptional and they were a far cry from that. *EDIT * p.s. following up to say that I was asked to e-mail them about my experience and never even received a response!

I recently dined at Pacini and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and welcoming service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a great ambiance that made me feel right at home. The food was outstanding, with authentic Italian flavors and fresh ingredients that really shone through in every dish. I particularly loved the pasta, which was perfectly cooked and had a rich and flavorful sauce. The drinks were also top-notch, with a great selection of wines and cocktails that perfectly complemented the food. I highly recommend trying the house special cocktail, it was delicious! The only slight hiccup during my visit was the number of kids screaming and running around. Although the restaurant is family-friendly, the noise level was a bit high at times. However, the staff did their best to keep things under control, and it didn't detract too much from the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend Pacini for anyone looking for an amazing Italian meal. The food, drinks, and service were all outstanding, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious menu items!

We were a group of 10 people in the afternoon. The wait time was long, but there was only 1 server for the whole floor and the restaurant was less than halfway full. Nonetheless, we were understanding of the slow service. The food was okay. We had calamari that was cooked well, but the breading had a slight bitter taste and the Mille Feuille Lasagna was over cooked, but the flavours were decent. Dessert was a simple coffee and a Strawberry Dolci which was nice. It was nice to have tried this place once, but I wouldn’t go back if I was looking for authentic Italian food.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Portion sizes are fantastic. Decent service although it wouldn't hurt for waiters to come by more often to check in. I love the bread station where you can toast your own (unlimited) bread; really nice feature. But everything on the menu is really expensive, like pasta dishes of upwards of $30. There also isn't much outside of pasta dishes on the menu which is a bit of a disappointment. I get that it's an Italian restaurant, but more variety would be appreciated. I also don't like how close together the tables are as it becomes difficult to navigate between the tables and it can get very noisy. Other than that, it's a great restaurant for a family dinner or gathering with friends.
It wasn't the first time we go to this restaurant, but it will be the last time. The food was hot but we waited close to 1hr to received our food. they had a groupe but never told us anything until we complained that it was long, when you a 5 year old child with you it long. Now let go back to the foodb I had the lasagna, hot plate but no taste to it but my child lasagna had more taste, my wife had the luiginie sea food, also no taste and bearly no sauce, at the end the waitress comes over says we offer you dessert for the wait, so we says ok, get the bill and it was charge, she told us it was only for my wife and she couldn't do anything. This is what we call customer satisfaction.
Really great place! I have passing by this restaurant for years avoding it, thinking it's some low key cheap place. I was wrong! Beautiful inside interior. Great food selection. Friendly and courteous staff. Tasty meals. I had Carbonara which I try in every Italian restaurant I go to, I found was a bit too much bacon(usually done with pancetta) but tasted really great! Prices are fair for the quality of food. They even have free bread bar to toast and to put different kinds of butter. Place a must to try!

Delicious italian food, friendly service and comfortable outdoor seating created a fabulous Pacini experience. It was my first time visiting Montreal, and I had never been to this restaurant chain before. Looking for a quick, yet healthy filling lunch option, we stopped at Pacini and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and the lunch specials were well-priced and inviting. I had the cod over linguine and my husband had the lasagne both of which were delicious. To compliment the food, there was an open bread bar inside was unexpected, but greatly appreciated.
The service was polite and helpful and though by no fault if our waitress, the food took a very long time to arrive.....over 40 minutes. The food tasted good and I highly recommend the breaded cod pasta dish. The entrée was not so tasty though. We shared a melted parmesan appetizer and it was tasteless and very runny...in a watered down version. Not a rich thich savory parmesan melt. A family friendly establishment with an array if choices. Just make sure you're not in a rush and stay away from the cheese !
This is a real good deal. Have been my first time, I was surprised to see that their minestrone was delicious, as well as the ravioli. They even had a bread bar inside! Mine was whole grain bread with tomato & basil on it. Not gonna lie, this is a must in Montreal. Go check this place out if you want a filling meal.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is not the Pacini I remember from the 90s. The food is really quite good. There is a good amount of gluten free options, too, for the Celiac crowd. Gluten free pizza was quite good, so was the veal and the goat cheese and beet salad. They also have gluten free pasta, but we didn't try it. They still have the signature all you can eat bread bar. It's a little bit pricey, but I'll give them a pass given the dearth of options in the area. I will definitely be back.
A beautiful place that has been there for several years, which has aged quite well. The food is good, but the prices too high. The bread bar is still just as friendly. However during my last visit the wait was too long for breakfast. 20 min to receive a coffee. Once the food was ordered and received no return from the waitress to find out if we needed anything. It was good despite everything and that's why I give a 3. When there is nothing around well Pacini does the trick.
Pacini brings me back to my childhood with its self-serve bread bar. This classic feature alone will keep me going back. Pacini has also put together a creative brunch menu that adds an Italian twist on many favorites, such as frittati, breakfast pizzas and baked dishes. Needless to say, pasta and meat comfort dishes are always available as well. An added bonus is its large gluten-free options. It's nice to see Pacini has not simply rested on its laurels.
Sad, went there hoping to have some authentic Italian food, enened up getting stuff from student being exploited, zero taste, ordered spaghetti, got about 3 grams of meat (lol) ready mades have more stuff and flavor, ordered chicken, eneded up getting meat balls and beef instead, to be honest, the people serving are good but the place trying to be premium is just a rip off selling frozen goods with no ingenuity, don't visit
BE WARNED!! This place charge exorbitant amount for EXTREMELY small portion of food . I paid 16$ for 4 pieces of chicken wings ...AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. Then I ordered pasta with shrimp, 4 pieces with whole pack of pasta which costs like 1$ , and the restaurant charged a whopping 23$ for the plate. RIDICULOUS!!!

This Pacini serves as some sort of ghost kitchen for Tok-Tok Langelier as well as Queues de Castor (Beavertails). I had to order online and you can either do take out or delivery. The choices are limited compared to the actual stores and the portions are a bit smaller. However, the korean hot dog and beavertail travelled well and stay warm in the packaging as well as tasted delicious.

Take out
Not an authentic Italian restaurant but it is a good place to eat for pasta. Decor and style was revamped a little while ago and helped the franchise to keep up with competition. Food is tasty and portions are of good size. The real plus is the bread bar grill. Choosing your own kind of bread and style of butter adds a twist to a great bread that you cook yourself on the grill. Fantastic for bread lovers!
Love the idea of the toast grill with different butters, ordered the risotto pesto with goat cheese and it was absolutely delicious, the portions are big like an italian mama served you, perfect.

Food was TERRIBLE. I have never sent back my food in my 27 years of life but there was no way I was paying for that travesty of pizza with barely cooked mushrooms and pasta that I could have made myself. They don't even shred the Parmesan! It's like dust, cheap cheese that you get from the store for one dollar. Save your money and go to East Side Marios. At least they won't rip you off.
Food was average,fast-casual Italian fare, as was the service. Missing beer options and they had to send someone out to buy de-alcoholized beer. Waiter didn't seem well informed on the menu options, referring to the Caldo Verde as am Italian soup when it is in fact a Portuguese soup. They were also missing some choices. First visit in a while, but not inspto return any time soon.
Prices have gone up quite a bit since the last time I was there. And the lasagna was ok, but not as good as I remember. Mostly pasta, not enough sauce and cheese for my taste. A friend had pizza that looked great, and the bread BBQ is wonderful.

Took 12 minutes before we were asked if we were ready to order. They gave us mineral water the first and second time we went there. And the f pizza i hste with oils it came with were worst than McDonald's Edit: Cant believe you took 4 years to answer this review. If not for google telling me I wouldn't even have known. Just don't to begin with after that long.
Love Pacini, they had a great vegan option. I went with Lasagne mille-feuille tomate Rôtis, noix et shiitake and they had a vegan option for it.

A bit pricey but usually good food. I haven't been here in years. It used to be one of my family's favorite spots. The bread bar is still excellent. I have the mushroom with truffle sauce. I didn't quite realize what it was. The sauce really wasn't to my liking, but that's me, not the restaurants fault. Music was a touch too loud.
Saturday night around 8pm - arrived. Waited 10 minutes for server to come over, then another 30 for our food. Poor quality all around and even gave my daughter pepperoni on her pizza when told cheese only. Chicken Romain was disgusting in cliffy sauce that tastes like Asian VH sauce. Very disappointing for the price and the wait.
While it's not exactly fine dining it's a pleasant place. Pros: Scrupulously clean from what we could see. Coherent modern looking dining area. Very pleasant and efficient waitstaff. Excellent pizza and good portion size. Conveniently located. The bread bar is included in the price of the meals. Cons: A bit pricy.
It was really bad my pasta was tasteless and their parmesan cheese is disgusting i dont believe is real parmesan, dessert was ok and service also

Great food and ambiance. But this is where bar à pain goes to die. Seriously, you need to let the bar à pain go or rebrand. Sweet Jesus. It is worth it to eat there just to see the bar à pain sarcophage. It's like dinner theatre. But overall food is decent and not overly priced.

This restaurant is definitely over-priced for the quality of food that they serve. The ambiance at the restaurant feels classy and nice but the food is tasteless and appears to be cheap quality. The all-you-can-eat bread section is a joke.
Delightful. Weirdly, it's been 30 years since I ate at a Pacini. The bread grill was still like I remembered, so nice, with different types of butters. And the food was delicious, everyone really enjoyed their meal, and friendly service!
Service just alright, Food was so long and taste just ok ! Very disappointing. What restaurant don't have ketchup! I'm sorry to say if you want pasta go somewhere else then here!

Very expensive for a bowl of average tasting pasta. Texture and taste felt like it was just reheated, vegetables had no color or crunch to them. I'll go somewhere else next time, as it's not even authentic Italian cuisine.
Great location for pasta! Service is quick, dishes are tasty, atmosphere is cozy and there is a free bread bar with an oven where you can choose your type of bread and butter among many choices and toast it to your liking.
Vegan pastas were really good, but unfortunately they didn’t have any vegan butter for the bread bar. Sad since they do have a few vegan options on the menu. We asked for oil and balsamic vinegar instead
Great service, good food, convenient location even if you are using public transport. It seems to always be crowded when I go, so I would recommend you make reservations if your party is larger than 4.
Nice varied menu and the food was tasty and nicely presented. Contemporary decor even at lunch time it was not too noisy. We were a pretty big group and we all enjoyed our experience and would go back
What a lovely breakfast place, very well made menu. Capucino was wonderful and staff member very courteous and professional. I will for sure go back there. Also they have Mimosa for who is interested.

Overall the food was good, the staff was friendly, and the bread station was pretty cool. But there was a longer than expected waiting time to get our meal. I would probably eat there again.
Not many menu options and pricey. Kids menu options also for dessert and entree more for adults my boys didn't like it. However the caesar salad was delicious and the service was excellent.
Well, its Pacini you can't resist their self-service garlic bread, i ordered a meal for 2 and the presentation was nice.. as for the food itself wasn't bad but it could be better ..
Service is always friendly and professional, food is consistently good. Nothing negative to say, if you like Italian food Pacini is one of those franchises that has got it right...
A nice place for lunch and dinner. Just a little disappointed with the recent changes in the breakfast/brunch menu... hopefully they will come back with a good menu like before.
Service was great. However I asked for eggs without milk and I received eggs with milk... Followed by an argument with the waitress who told me she was sure it didn't had milk
Great selection of freshly made pasta and pizza's to your liking. Very good value for the money and free parking near by. Knowledge well trained front of house staff!!
Food here is always good. Drinks too. But prices seem comparatively high. 2 adults 2 kids. 2 sangria 1 Pepsi 1 Orange juice = $116. But the kids love the bread grill.

The best Pacini in Montreal. My favorite restaurant. Fantastic ambiance, beautiful music, friendly staff, great quality menu for reasonable price. The best pizza!
The breakfast was good and the people were kind I just wish the pesto, tomato and garlic butter were still out for the bread since we were there for brunch.
It's good as always, they revamp their menu from the old times. I've had great service and experience there. The only thing I can say, is that it's pricy.
Decently priced, and cocktails are good, but the food is kind of meh - though I guess expectations of generic/chain Italian food are not especially high.
Good but to spensive ,the plate was to small, witness was very nice and good service its not they at 9:30 everyday food ordinary for the price …
Fun family restaurant. Grill your own bread bar is a hit with everyone. Basic italian food and friendly service (3 star food but 4 star service)

Very good, admire the presentation, every time I go, very good price and nice environment for meet ups.
