THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING QUICKER THAN MY OZICARE CLAIM ASSESSMENT (an adventure tale!) I had my first ever car accident in November. Still waiting for a simple assessment of the vehicle let alone a decision apparently? I'd never dealt with insurance before so I was in for a real treat. 1) Had several online purchases from China delivered to my door without hassle. I guess all my wishes doooo dot come! 2) Had my damaged vehicle towed to at least five known holding locations but without any communication as to what assessment has been done to the vehicle. 3) Asked to keep paying said insurance in case THEY damage the vehicle in holding. Then they asked me to pay a fee to cancel the policy when I requested to do so instead. 4) Purchased another vehicle to have use for work, because these guys are too slow. Had another unfortunate Bingle in it (yeahhhhh I can't even think about that luck right now) but! The second car is insured through a different company.... A bigger one that maybe does roadside assistance (cough cough cough) guess what. It only took them a week to fix the damage. CONCLUSION - I guess you really do pay for peanuts and get OZICARE ?

bought their travel insurance before. First day in London my suitcase broke. Came back and had the worse experience trying to claim it with ozicare. Back and forth they kept asking me for more and more information. To claim a broken suitcase, they asked me to write a statement of what happened, RECEIPT OF THE SUITCASE, online link of a similar suitcase and current price/worth and even asked for a suitcase repairer to provide a statement that my suitcase couldn't be fixed?? I sent them photos of the broken suitcase and then months later of back and forth emails, when I finally threw the suitcase out, they asked if I still had the suitcase. It was beyond ridiculous. I gave up eventually. I couldn't believe buying travel insurance and it didn't even help me.

Horrible company for auto insurance. I paid for "choice of repairer" but when I went to make the claim, they kept pushing me to use their repair partners as "it would be much faster". It took >10 days for them assign someone to review my case, and apparently another week to actually approve the claim. They are punishing consumers who do not opt for their repair services. How is this not illegal?

Worst insurance ever, made a claim over 4 million mths ago I had to call ever week to check on my progress to get told each week that someone will get in touch with me. No one does 4 months hoping that someone will call and tell me what’s gong on, still waiting. What a disgrace they happy to take the money but not to honour their policy and commitment.

worst ever car insurance experience, they ask 1 million questions for a minor accident, claim lodged long time ago haven’t resolved yet, very unprofessional people, call waiting is minimum 1.5 hour !!! avoid OziCare car insurance please, Thanks

Poor experience - quote increased by nearly $200 from what was "offered" on compare the market, even though no new information was added. After reading other reviews, feel like I dodged a bullet anyway.
