I never thought I'd find a mechanic that would delight me enough to write a 5 star review, but this place is different than any other auto mechanic I've ever dealt with. I came in for regular 30K service and spongy brakes, expecting a costly brake job, among other things. After dropping off the car, my phone rang a short while later. I answered, going into my typical defensive mode that I've grown accustomed to from past experience with auto mechanics, ready to question every single thing "wrong" with the car and the thousands of dollars about to be estimated to fix it. "Your car's fine," said the voice on the other end. He explained that the brakes had plenty of life left and just needed to be bled. The only thing needed was an oil change and new air filter. The honest diagnosis was the most refreshing words I've ever heard coming through the phone from an auto mechanic. I arrived later to pick up the car, prepared for the typical damage to the wallet. The bill was about 1/3 what I expected, and they did the brakes for free! These guys are awesome. We've got a new mechanic for as long as these guys are around. Next time I come in, I know I can completely drop my guard and toss them the keys. They've earned my trust.

If your car needs fixing, look no further. These guys get it done with ease, professionalism, and quality work. I shipped my 2002 Subaru Outback from Hawaii and it failed the CA smog test. The check engine light has been on for a couple of years and my trusty mechanic in Hawaii found that I needed to replace the breaks but said everything else was fine and offered to write a note to give to Matson shipping in order for them to let me ship the car with the check engine light on. After shipping it here there was also a shakiness when the car was in gear and also in neutral. I got in touch with another repair shop and they said I should see a Subaru specialist. So I called My Mechanic. Jhovanny (Joe) helped me through the whole process. They did a comprehensive inspection checking everything and found that I needed new tie rods because they were loose. If these break then you lose steering ability. The catalytic converter had to get replaced too. They found there was a faulty sensor which was causing the shakiness. All fixed and good to go. I would feel comfortable sending my grandmother to these guys to get her car worked on because I know they would be honest and do a good job. Highly recommend!

Great experience at MyMechanic. I had a TCM problem with my Mazda 3s that was difficult to diagnose. My car was having intermittent shifting problems between 4th and 5th gear (Check Engine and AT light firing). The Mazda dealership had run a couple of diagnostics and wanted to replace the Wiring Harness (~$1150) after I had already changed a speed sensor (~$450) based on their initial diagnostic to fix the problem. I brought my car here for a second opinion and Warren and his team took their time and tested out the car thoroughly and determined that it was a faulty TCM. My car is running smoothly like it did before with no problems now. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for some other recommended repairs. Warren and his team at MyMechanic are the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for auto repair work.

This is a stand up place! I was fortunate to find these guys when my vehicle broke down on the Bay Bridge in September 2017. Last week I had a soft clutch and took my vehicle back to My Mechanic. Warren had been leaving me messages and I hadn't been responding because of an unexpected illness which landed me in the hospital for 3 days. When I finally was able to speak with Warren I couldn't believe what he told me. The slave cylinder was leaking, which was causing the soft pedal, as well as eating away at the clutch. Warren told me they were going to replace them master cylinder under the warranty. Outstanding service! No hassle warranty! Great SF location!

Sophia is absolutely hands down the nicest, most professional and real person ice spoken to in a long time. I called in crisis mode needing a last minute trailer hitch installation on my Nissan Kicks S, and despite the garage being to busy to help me that day, she actually went above and beyond to find me a garage that could take the same day, late afternoon appointment. Which believe me was a daunting task that i had been searching more than two weeks to secure. I will definitely be using this garage for all of my future needs and short of wishing car trouble on myself that time cant come soon enough.

Friendly, professional, clean, and fast. We brought our 2004 Subaru Forester here for double head gasket replacement. We couldn't be happier with the work. Jhovanny stayed in communication with us throughout the process, sent us photos of the engine as it was being reassembled. The mechanic's work is clean and precise. We just took the car on a 300 mile trip and it purrs and runs smoothly - it is like driving a whole different car. I highly recommend this shop.

I have been living in the city for just about 6 months now. As a female trying to find a legit mechanic that you can trust and not get ripped off MIGHT just be the most stressful thing ever. From tune ups, oil changes, major repair and to even tire and alignment, everything can be done here and most important Great Service! The people at My Mechanics squeezed my car diagnosis in on the Thursday before a long Holiday Weekend, and then when it ended up that "what was wrong" would have cost a very serious amount of dollars to repair (even by SF Bay area pricing standards), they didn't charge me anything... perhaps out of pity, but they've now won a repeat customer in me for any future repairs I will need.

Really great and honest mechanic. Another shop had told me my car was dead, and they could not figure out how to fix it. Had it towed to my mechanic for a second opinion, took some work but they figured it out and repaired it for a really fair price and did not try and up sell me on anything. Car is running great again. Highly recommend.

Performed a full car inspection prior to my lease buy-out. My husband brought the car in with our baby and they made sure to get it done quickly. We couldn't find the wheel lock and they happily let us come back for an included tire rotation the next week. No one tried to sell us anything, just did a great job and then some. Excellent!

After insisting that I not be late to pick up my car, and that I call them if I was going to, I leave work early to show up right on time and lo and behold, they aren't done with it yet. They failed to notify me they would be late because they somehow got TWO digits of my phone number wrong - they also didn't send me an email.

These people are great. They keep my old Lexus running like a top, for way less than the dealer was charging. Plus they have free wifi in the waiting room -- not that I've ever spent much time there. I have been going there for a couple of years and would not want to take my car anywhere else.

Car took three months to finish. The estimate was $500. But after all work was finished the total ended up at over $3500. The vehical is broken again after less then 100miles traveled. I have returned it and am anxious to see how the manager responds to this list of repeat issues.

Took my car here to fix my brakes and they changed my oil without my permission and tried to charge me 100 bucks for a simple oil change. Don't go here they'll try to steal your money.
