Love this place! First had them do a repair after my car was vandalized - their estimate was a good price and didn't change after they started the work. When I picked up the car, there was some debris left from the vandalism but as soon as I pointed it out they did a thorough job cleaning it all out at no cost which I appreciated (it was a small thing compared to all the repairs they'd done) Recently I went back for a minor problem and they fixed it same day and only charged me for 30 min of labor and replaced a brake light that was out free of charge. Normally I'd expect to pay for minimum 1 hour of labor and maybe extra for an estimate. Will take my car here forever

I can not recommend this shop enough. They have a giant garage and even allowed my friend to bring in his RV one time. This is almost unheard of in the city. I have many cars and despite being able to do small jobs on my own I regularly fall back on these guys to lift the heavy weights. They are so fast and reliable and very fair labor costs. I am probably a very annoying customer trying to fix things myself with my novice skills and Darren has never once gotten mad at me. His soft spoken assistant is adorable too. Theoretically if he did have to bite my head off the nice young lady would probably make me smile even if it were 7am. We all know I can’t make a 7am tho.

At my last service at the official dealer for my car I was told I needed my front breaks replaced. I shopped around and B&W quoted $100 less than the dealer for the same service. Scheduling a next day appointment was super easy. I took it in and within 30 min I got a call from the service tech saying that my breaks had at least 6 months left in them. When I went to pick it up, they refused to charge me for anything! I've never had better auto service and won't be going anywhere else for my car while I'm in SF! Extremely honest and highly recommended!

Love these guys. One of the only places in the city that'll work on my cargo van (2013 ford transit) and it just so happens to be right around the corner from me. They always get me in relatively quickly and are good with making sure you know pricing before they go in and do the work. Got tires, brakes, transmission, and engine work done here so far. The one time they couldn't do the repair (some crazy detailed transmission stuff) they recommended a shop down the way and they ended up being really solid too. Great shop, 10/10.

B&W has been my go to “garage”:for 15+ years—because they keep my Prius running optimally—and safely—and I implicitly trust them! A case in point: today my Prius’ warning lights suddenly flashed on my dashboard screen. Of course, I was wary of driving it far, So i took it direct to B&W. They were booked solid! Yet Still, B&W made time to check my Prius to ensure i could safely drive it to a nearby garage they recommended who could fit me in that day. All this kindness…and no charge. Like i said…I trust them implicitly.

First mechanic shop to ever give money back! I first took my bmw to the dealer and they wanted to charge $400 for a diagnostic check even before knowing what the problem was. I instead took it here and they were able to diagnose the issue and not charge anything since there was nothing wrong with the car! Will gladly bring my car back here. I also did my brake fluid bleed here since the costs were much more reasonable than the dealer. I highly recommend this place!

I found myself stranded after the studs on a hub of my boat trailer sheared off. I was able to do the work myself except for these stubborn broken studs that I couldn’t extract. I showed up at opening to B&W, which was super busy but they took my ask anyway. They were quick, courteous, and effective. They gave me an old school, high quality vibe and would recommend based on how I saw they treated other customers.

I’ve been bringing my cars here for over 10 years and they are always fair and reliable. The prices are reasonable and they don’t try to sell me extra repairs I don’t need. I think that is the sign of a good repair shop. Trustworthy and friendly staff, reliable services, and when they can’t reproduce the issue they don’t charge me. If you’d like a repair shop you can trust I’d come here.

Made an appointment online to drop off at 8 am. They were able to receive my car a little earlier than scheduled. They were friendly, fast, and efficient in getting back with me on points of maintenance during the day and the car was ready for pickup around midday! Also, their prices are great too. Not far from BART either so easy access to transit. I’ll be back for sure.

These folks don't know what they don't know. I drove my car in to get the brakes fixed on one wheel. They said it also needed a "parking brake actuator"; I gave the OK. After they installed it, the car wouldn't drive and had to be towed; it is now a useless heap of metal and will be junked. On the upside, they didn't charge me for the work.

Their service is amazing. Called this morning and they slipped me in right away bec there was a cancellation. Brought my flat-tired-car, they fixed super fast and so cheap! I couldn’t believe how easy they made my ordeal to rest. Thank you so much! Now I have a mechanic shop in my neighborhood that I can trust and will be my go-to from now!

I have been coming here for 10 years and cannot speak highly enough of their service and professionalism. They have done an excellent job repairing high mileage Land Rover and 4Runner. They are transparent with costs, fit the issue the first time and on time. I will be a loyal customer as long as I live in the State.

I've had all my vehicles serviced here. Only exceptions are oil changes. Otherwise I've come here for all repairs and tire replacements for nearly 20 years. What I like is that they'll always call you before doing any work. They always give you their estimates for your approval. Thanks for being there.

Very pleased with the service we received! Our problem was with the ignition switch, it was diagnosed and repaired within a day. We dropped off the vehicle in the morning and had it back at the end of the same day. Pricing was very reasonable!!! Would definitely use B & W again for other service needs.

This is the first time I went to B&W service Center. My car was serviced very quickly at a reasonable price. The young lady at the front desk was both helpful and friendly which was not the case for the other persons. Not a single smile, not even a good morning!! Not a pleasant welcome.

I brought my 2002 Honda Accord in today at 8:10am for an oil change and tire rotation. I was out by 8:50am. Good and efficient service by the staff at B&W. This shop really takes care of their customers. They charge a fair price for the service they provide. I highly recommend them.

My go-to mechanics for 27 years, through 3 Hondas. These guys have gone out of their way several times to help me in ways that the Honda dealership can’t do—such as replacing my dashboard after a sound-system thief broke it with a crowbar. And their charges are always reasonable.

I went in thinking I had to repair my brakes. After their inspection, it turned out my brakes were fine. I was very grateful they told me how my tires were cracking and needed to be replaced. Inspection was free and everyone was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
