I first visited Montreal West Dentistry on a rainy, very gloomy day. This seemed very appropriate as the weather matched how I was feeling. Even though I had been reading wonderful things about the clinic, visiting a new place for the very first time was enough to make me feel nervous. But the biggest reason for feeling a tad anxious, even sad, was that I had been putting off seeing a dentist because of the pandemic for way too long and was slightly worried about the state of my teeth. But already stepping inside the clinic was like seeing a ray of sunshine. The clinic alone is very cozy - and I definitely never thought I would use that word to describe a dentist's office. But what's more important, the staff is professional, friendly, and just super lovely. And I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Shaat. He is definitely really good at what he does - not only is he a pro when it comes to doing the actual work on your teeth, he is also encouraging, compassionate, and straightforward in the most positive of ways. I also really appreciate him and his team explaining what's going on and explaining why and how something is/was done (I'm a geek, so I am interested in all these details). I feel like they are on my side and that's a nice feeling indeed! Also, I appreciate how the clinic implements their COVID protocols. 5 stars for that as well. I've definitely been very happy about having found Montreal West Dentistry and I would absolutely recommend Dr. Shaat and his team to anyone looking for a good dentist. Thanks to them I feel much better about my teeth and even the gloomy, rainy days now look so much brighter.

J'ai fréquenté toute ma vie la clinique de Docteur Drummond & associés et l'endroit ainsi que le fabuleux personnel chaleureux et accueillant ne décevront jamais, vraiment. L'endroit se spécialise en la satisfaction de ses clients qui comme moi n'hésitent pas à faire confiance en leur professionnalisme et leur équipement de pointe. J'y suis récemment allé avec ma première dent cassée, encore sous le choc du traumatisme, et ils ont su gérer le facteur humain et technique de la procédure avec brio et efficacité. En 2 heures, par un service hors pair, j'ai eu 5 radios, un remodelage de dent impeccable qui dépasse largement mes attentes et un nettoyage complet. J'en ressors avec un respect renouvelé envers l'établissement, ainsi qu'envers Dr. Maria El-Husseini, Dr Drummond et Jennifer O'Neill qui m'ont redonné le goût de sourire. Ma nouvelle dentition est littéralement plus belle que celle que j'avais avant. Il y a des millions de manières de se casser une dent, mais juste une seule clinique qui assure un traitement aussi satisfaisant. Merci à toute l'équipe!

The most friendly and caring staff I have ever experienced in a medical office. They make you feel very welcome from the minute you walk in the front door. They're always smiling and interacting with you in conversation. At the end of your procedure, and just before you leave, your bill is review with you and your next appointment (if needed) is booked at a time that is convenient for your schedule. Dr. Maria is an incredible Dentist. Everything is explained to you in great detail so there are no surprises. I have always been terrified of going to a dentist, but Dr. Maria has a very calm and reassuring voice and always questions you during the procedure to make sure that you're doing ok while she works on your teeth. "Kelly gave my teeth and gum line the most wonderful, thorough cleaning I have ever had. She has a fantastic approach - making me feel comfortable by giving me autonomy over the water suction during my procedure and explaining everything clearly and precisely. She gave me a tremendous flossing demonstration and I learned more about gum health than I ever knew before. Thanks to Kelly, my flossing has changed for the better and my oral health is sure to be better as a result. Kelly gave the best first impression possible and I am so grateful. I want to express my thanks and gratitude to Dr. Shaat, his assistant, Susan, and the rest of the staff. My son has severe phobias, and they took the time to talk to him and find out what his fears were about, they explained to him, every step of the way what he would feel and hear, and they answered each of his questions. Not once did they rush him or push him to just get on with it, even though it took more time than would normally be required (they actually scheduled in extra time just to be sure that the next patient would not be delayed). Because of the great care, compassion, patience and kindness that they demonstrated, my son was finally able to have his procedure done (without sedation!!!!!!!). I give the highest recommendation possible for Dr. Shaat and his staff.

I went to this clinic today and I have to say that their Covid protocols are very well in place and I think it’s a really good thing. The staff are so friendly, they made me feel very appreciated and also took the anxiety out of dental exams which let’s face it aren’t the most fun thing in the world. The hygienist and the doctor were excellent, very thorough and took their time to explain things to me. I really liked this clinic, so much so in fact I will register my son with them next week for his annual checkups and cleanings. Thank you for being so amazing it truly is hard to find such a wonderful group of professionals in this day and age!

I am a new patient. My father has been going for a while now, and he recommended Dr. Drummond and the staff to me. While I cannot say I love going to the dentist (lol), I look forward to the warm atmosphere, the discussions, and of course the dental advice of Dr. John. The technology is state of the art, the office is always clean and quite, and sometimes you may even forget your are at the dentist! The also send the invoice through email and send email appointment confirmations. There is really no trouble at all. I highly recommend giving them a call. I know Dr. John, but there are other incredible dentists there as well.

I had a bit of tooth troubles, and was looking to make an appointment very quickly, and randomly ended up calling Montreal West Dentistry. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and was able to find me, a new patient, an appointment that same week. It was a great experience! My hygienist, Linda, was very kind and thorough, leaving me with the cleanest-feeling teeth I've ever had. And the dentist, Dr. Diamandis, was friendly and thorough as well. Going to the dentist may be my least favourite thing to do in the world, but everyone at Montreal West Dentistry made it much more pleasant. 5/5, would recommend, will be back!

I wish I had switched to them sooner. The office is beautiful and centrally located. The staff are so nice and the most professional I've ever met. My dentist was Dr. Shaat and I have finally found my dentist for life! He explained everything to me in plain language and told me all of my options. He then helped me choose a plan that fit my circumstances and he was very conscious that dental work can be expensive, unlike many dentists who make you feel badly if you cannot afford to do a procedure. I cannot say enough about Dr. Shaat and the team. If you go to this dentist office, you will not be disappointed!

Very professional staff from the front desk, to the hygienist and all the way to Dr. Shaat who blends a great experience and talent to draw a confident smile on your face. The appointment booking and admission process is seamless, featuring an automated email confirmation to update my calendar. Impressive equipment as well. The digital x-ray film is my favorite, kept my engineering mind thinking of what's needed to replace the wired film with a wireless transmitter :) I found Montreal West Dentistry to be the Cadillac of dental clinics in the Montreal area. Very reasonable prices as well.

Dr. Sarah is a gentle, caring and knowledgeable dentist. She has been treating my children (ages 5 and 7) and myself for the last few years, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of care we have received. Dr. Sarah is very thorough. She takes the time to explain each step of the treatment, checking in with the patient along the way. Her kind personality makes one feel at ease in the chair. My children are comfortable having fillings done as well as freezing, as her approach is gentle and discreet. We feel lucky to be in Dr. Sarah's care and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Today, I had my first dental procedure with Dr. Shaat and he is absolutely wonderful. I arrived very anxious and both he and Shymah at reception put me at ease. It is the first time that I have no anxiety while undergoing a dental procedure. Dr. Shaat is very delicate when working on your teeth/mouth and he explains every step of the procedure which I really appreciated. The receptionists and staff are very kind, thoughtful and pleasant. Who ever thought that getting dental work would feel like a warm hug?!

Amazing place! Staff are extremely diligent about covid safety and I really appreciated that. Staff are also very very kind, communicative and nice. I don't know about their French, but they are all native/fluent in English. As an immigrant who is trying to learn French, I generally don't want to do very-important things like this in French, and it wasn't a problem at all here. I had not been to the dentist in years but they made me feel comfortable, so I will definitely recommend!

Dr. Diamandis is an excellent dentist. I am always nervous when I have a dentist appointment and she makes me feel welcome and relaxed. The front desk also greets you with a smile and kindness. Dr. Diamandis explains my management procedure for the visit, and gives comprehensive information about what will be done at the visit. She patiently answers my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Diamandis!

Montreal West Dentistry came highly recommended to me, and I, having been a patient for the past 3 years, cannot recommend it highly enough to others. Other dental clinics that I've been to are well versed in their trade, but few are able to marry the technical expertise with just as high a level of attention, care and customer service as Montreal West Dentistry. Dr. Shaat and his team went above and beyond for my son before the World Irish Dance Championships! 9 days before the Championships he had an accident in the playground at school and broke two of his front teeth. John is extremely knowledgable, friendly , and takes the time to explain and give recommendations in detail. I normally do not like going to the dentist, but I really can honestly say that John puts me at ease every time. The dental hygienists are also extremely professional and friendly! The staff is so nice and friendly! I went in for my first exam and they performed X-rays and took photos of my teeth. Not only was it super easy but the hygienist Andrea talked with me in depth about teeth and what they look for during an exam and answered all my questions! Highly highly recommend!

By far the best dentist I've ever had. Since moving away from Montreal, I've yet to find a dentist as good as Dr. John in the two other cities I've lived in. I sometimes think of travelling the 3.5 hours to Dr. John, but it's little too far. I can't recommend Dr. John enough.

John and his crew are great people. I've been a customer for over 20 years. It's never a problem to schedule a visit or re-schedule if required. John takes the time to explain what the issues are he's watching and what I can do to improve (floss more often...)

A great clinic! Very accommodating and welcoming staff. The only downside is their pricing. I found their nightguards tp be very expensive compared to other clinics. Otherwise, fabulous in terms of bedside manner, cleanliness, and patient care!
