I went to the DFO store today and was rudely served by not just 1 person but 2 ladies. I was there to drop off my ring for a clean, rhodium plating and check. The first lady loudly asked if I had paperwork, the second lady took on her attitude and asked me how they were meant to find me in the system with no paperwork. I asked her what she needed. Proceeded to provide my name and phone number. I was asked when I bought the ring, (2018) and there was a sigh because that was so long ago, and she had to check different systems. I then offered to go away if it was a bother. The first lady came back saying it wasn't a bother and started to look me up as well. I told them both i had never been asked for paperwork before dropping off my ring. Long story short, they couldn't find me, and I have to go to the city store where I purchased from. The second lady then offered my ring back to me with a fake apology. This is the first time in so many years I have been treated like i didn't belong in a store. I have been going to DFO and the ladies have always been helpful and engaging. Common courtesy shouldn't be offered to only particular kinds of people because on how they look, or their complexion. If any of these factors are inferred in my interaction, then i rest my case and will go to another shop.

I went shopping today at the dfo store, was rudely served by a younger lady with blonde hair and glasses. She wasn't interested in helping me. I saw a gold necklace I liked and wanted to have a look, but before I could have a look the lady rudely asks for ID as if I was going to steal or something. I have been in here multiple times and purchased many pieces from Michael hill and have never been asked for my ID. I wouldn’t recommend this store, poor customer service.

My husband and I hadn’t got a wedding band and it was 3 days before our wedding! We found one and the store manager Trevor made sure it was sized the next day and even came in an hour before the store opened so we didn’t have to pay double cab fare and could just pick it up before our international flight. The customer service was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much.

Tried to purchase a ring today only to be told when processing sale it did not exist in their computer system so they were unable to sell it to me. How bizarre! Won't be going back as money doesn't seem to guarantee you can leave with your chosen piece.

Its been 2 years since my bf proposed me and ring is still shiny and bright. Everybody compliments my ring. I love it. Great customer service. I was really confused about choosing my ring and the lady she helped me out with lot of variety of rings.

It’s depressing here, i managed to walk around every cabinet in the entire store without being greeted by any of the 3 staff working… no other customers inside. No wonder they’re working at the outlet site.
