WORST pharmacy experience of my life. I spoke to them before memorial weekend started and I let them know that I was having a medical emergency and I needed my medication tomorrow if it would not be delivered by Saturday I wanted to just change pharmacies, instead they scheduled it and charged my card. Saturday came and went and they NEVER gave me my medication, I waited home ALL weekend for it the phones were down until Monday for the holiday. Do you know how crazy my days were because of them? I spoke to someone Tuesday morning all they did was say sorry, my entire weekend was gone and all they could say was sorry. They could “possibly” get me my medication in 1 to 2 days… why would I wait one to two days when that would equate to waiting an entire week. I’m disgusted with my experience and if this is how you treat other customers their business will not be around for much longer, what a poor horrible sad experience to have to go through with a pharmacy that should be helping people and didn’t even help when I told them how angry I was smh HORRIBLE been a customer for over 5 years and I will never be using these services again good luck if you use them.

I’m happy I got my prescription but It was a tough process. I had received a call from the pharmacist letting me know that my insurance denied my prescription and I would need to pay $130 out of pocket. I asked her why and she advised that the insurance doesn’t cover it. After making a few calls, I called my insurance and they advised that there wasn’t enough medical history for the medication. I called all my prior dermatologist and had them fax over all my information to my insurance and then it was approved. I’m only writing this review because I almost paid the $130 had I not called my insurance I would’ve never known. My only thought was what if someone else who isn’t well versed in the medical system needed a medication and was just told their insurance doesn’t cover it.

I can easily say that I am very please by my interactions with Manhattan Apothecary. They are very helpful, providing low cost prescriptions with extremely quick delivery. I received three prescriptions from MA for ~$160. Whereas, at my normal pharmacy, they would have cost over $1,100 after insurance. As a law student currently without income, relying on my parents for higher medical expenses, my experience with MA was extremely appeasing (to both me and my parents). I am grateful to have been referred to them. Without their help, I would not have been able to afford my prescriptions, even with financial support from my parents and fairly good health insurance.

Received sample of a cream from the Dr which had a smooth texture/consistency. When I received the cream from the pharmacy after paying $35, consistency was uneven. I spoke with rep from the pharmacy who explained that due to the heat, the consistency was getting ruined and a refill could be sent out(with ice pack) for addtl $35 cost. I requested a discount due to ruined bottle not being my fault and was told I would need to pay the full price. A rep contacted me a few days later to try and resolve the matter. I appreciate the effort taken. Every other interaction has been pleasant and helpful.

It seems that I was receiving DOUBLE the messages without need (on top of double reminders to answer messages) I confirmed today that it was indeed sending twice when I was asked to review Manhattan Apothecary within minutes of the first text. Thanks again!

Overcharge for the prescription- charged about 20 *** dollars more than Rite Aid and then refused to provide an adjustment or credit . Spoke to an individual named Arlene who said that there was nothing they could do. The individual who took the order told me that they provided the cheapest option , and clearly they misrepresented that because a quick Good Rx search shows its significantly cheaper by 20 *** dollars. I do not recommend at all.

This pharmacy is excellent. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly. I got real time updates on the status of my delivery by text. I also received my delivery one day after I made my order even though it was supposed to take at least 2 days. I also appreciate that a staff member called the day of the delivery to reconfirm my address and tell me the delivery window. Manhattan Apothecary provides 5 star service!

I made it clear when I ordered the medication that I needed it by a particular day and time, for a scheduled medical procedure. Manhattan Apothecary didn't have it in stock, and didn't inform me of this. I'm giving them two stars instead of zero because (1) I was able to reach them by phone and (2) when they got the medication they delivered it promptly (though not in time for my procedure).

The big problem with this place is they are not open on weekends. I ran out of my medication and they could deliver it till TUESDAY. So I tried to call them and say I would come pick it up but although their Google listing says they open until 6:00 pm on Friday when I called at 4:00 pm on Friday, the voicemail said they were closed! Guess they decided to take off for the beach early!!

The person who called me to get the confirmation of the order from me had a hard time communicating clearly what he needed from me. Also, when they called, they sound shady like a spam call. I almost hung up on them. So keep that in mind when you are expecting a package from them. Delivery left in mailbox per instructions. No issue there. Prompt and fast service.

The apothecary called me promptly, was knowledgeable, and arranged the mailing of the two medications. I requested that each med state the name of the prescribing doctor and where on the body it was to be used (2 things the Big Chain drug stores do not do) so that I don’t confuse which drug I’m using and where to use it and that was done. Excellent service.

Wanted to give 5 stars but couldn’t because of delivery issue. I spoke to someone on the phone who assured me the medicine would be delivered on Monday as I wouldn’t be home over the weekend. All the receipts said Monday delivery yet they delivered it on Sat and the box with cream sat in the 100 degree heat for two days. Hopefully it still works.

Prescription was filled and delivered as promised. Co-pay was very reasonable in comparison to what our local pharmacies wanted for a co-pay. Pharmacy kept us up-to-date of delivery time… package was delivered right to our door! We will continue to do business Apotheco Pharmacy Manhattan Appthecary. Excellent experience!

Great communications over refills, questions, etc. Additionally had great and friendly service with Jasmine over the phone; answered all my questions and promptly resolved a technical issue with my account. Manhattan Apothecary is a very well run pharmacy by professionals who really understand the business. They are efficient in theìr delivery system, coùrteous and very helpful when called up on the phone. They have no holding time - they answer immediately! I love this pharmacy! For me, they are the best there is.

These guys are great. They always get it right, (how rare is that today!) prescriptions are delivered on time AND they are super with follow up and getting you another med if your insurance doesn’t cover what the dr prescribed. They are awesome and get the job done! Highly recommended!
