Main bus stand of Bangalore city. Needs a lot of effort to organise the stand for making it convenient for the visitors of Bangalore. The stand should be marked for the correct route in English and the administration should impose the bus drivers to follow the traffic rules as well as parking vehicles in the right stand. Many buses are parked for hours which cause a lot of inconvenience to the public. There is lot of room for improvement to make it a good standard bus stand. The bus stand has to be improved for the variety of eateries and food outlets. Currently the choice of eateries is very limited and they are also not good. Enquiry in languages other than Kannada should be provided for the benefit of the people coming from other states.

City buses are stationed on one side, while inter-district and inter-state buses are on the other side, making it convenient for passengers to locate their buses. There are lots of platforms in this BUS STAND. It is also very crowded. So it might be confusing and difficult to navigate for people from other states as they might not be used to this much traffic. Even the police officers don't know the platforms properly and they barely understand languages other than kannada. When with kids, it is easy for them to get lost in such a crowded area. One should always be aware of their belongings and valuables. I have noticed people carrying bags in front of them to prevent getting robbed. The bus stand is very systematic and one should stay in the designated/allocated place to get a bus to a particular place.

This is the major hub of transportation in Bengaluru as it connects all parts of the city. You want to go anywhere and don't know how, just come here and you will find the destination. There are two bus stops here, one is for BMTC buses( blue ones) and another for KSRTC buses( red ones). It's very clean and well maintained. If you have any doubt regarding the bus routes just take the help of the staffs, no language barrier. Nice place.
