Customer service here is nonexistent. I order a cologne and perfume gift set each year for me and my girl. I recieved a promo in the mail to receive a free gift bag and mini cologne set with purchase of a large bottle of cologne, but when I went into the store, the pink haired lady didn't know what I was talking about and was being so rude, awkward, and weird when I asked her if I could be shown colognes and gift sets. She just stood there and I had to ask her everytime for spray cards and she wouldn't even give us a sample or tell us anything about the colognes. I left and ordered the gift set online. upon receiving the shipments I never received any of the free gifts. I call customer service and they say they are sold out. Weird. I go back to the store and talk with the same pink haired lady and they have one of the gifts that was in promo but they refused to give me it. I talked with another customer service rep and they try to tell me a lie. Said they would ship it to me if it comes in stock even though it was marked as being delivered but was never in the shipment box but I know they were just lying out there mouths and not really wanting to help. Don't advertise something and then call your customers liars. I told the customer service rep I wouldn't come back and he just shrugged and acted happy. I knew they didn't care it's obvious businesses are just ripping people off this holiday season. Good luck with your retail career.

I initially had a good experience shopping for a suit for an awards show with the help of Carolina. When I returned 2 days later to return the (unworn) suit I was treated extremely disrespectfully by this same employee. I specifically asked her NOT to complete the return unless it would be returned back onto my debit card in which she told me IT WOULD. She proceeded to complete the return anyways and return the items back onto my Macys card. I had initially signed up for a Macys card to get the discount and was not given the proper information about returns although I was very specific. Due to this, I lost $400. Carolina then brought me over to customer service to help resolve her mistake. I told customer service what had happened and she became extremely discourteous saying "Well it looks worn anyways" and "the tags aren't even attached". She also denied making any mistakes with was a complete untruth. The clothes were in perfect condition. The general manager Marlene was a witness to this behavior in addition to another customer who will be mentioned in my letter that I am drafting to corporate with the full details to the event. Marlene was amazing throughout all of this and is truly an amazing. I have never been treated so rudely by a Macys employee as I was this day and I will not be stepping in that store again.

What an unprofessional, degrading, embarrassing shopping experience at this location. My toddler decided to have a full on tantrum while we were upstairs. I sat in the furniture area to attend to him and diffuse the situation. This unpleasant employee, Lori, walks up to me and asks in an annoying voice if I needed help. I replied by saying no and that I was just letting my toddler’s tantrum phase out. Also, I was checking on my other children to see if they needed anything. She tells me to “Get out” and that I was “bothering other customers” in the store. Proceeds to leave the area as soon as I asked for her name and that I would be calling corporate and her supervisor. Lori also had the audacity to call security on me. I’ve never been so humiliated and degraded in my life. What a piece of artifact you are. Another customer, which you were helping, asked if I was okay. If my child was okay. She had more compassion than you. This employee needs to not be in this type of position. Thanks to Katrina (Jewelry Employee) and Mario (Supervisor) for hearing me out. According to Katrina, this is not the first time Lori is unnecessarily rude to customers. Probably the worst Macy's that I've ever been to. There is a young man that he is very not friendly in his dealing with customers. I picked up some pieces of clothing to buy. When I came to pay, this guy didn't even asked me if I have a Macy's card. However, I inserted my card into the machine and I was waiting for my rewards to come up so I can use them. But he completely ignored me and finished the purchase without even asking me if I have rewards want to use. I made him return everything and start over, so I can redeem my rewards. He didn't like my request and I can tell from his body language the way he was upset despite it's his fault.

First time came shopping for a couch and found a good variety of styles, fabrics, and sizes. Sadly, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I left empty handed. Next time I was there to shop for a dress for a formal event. So many beautiful dresses to choose from! Well organized by colors. Price points for all shoppers. Dressing room leaves a lot to desire. Clearly the oldest, most ignored part of the store. Flimsy walls. My door had trouble closing. But it provides privacy, so it achieves its purpose. Also want to comment that Christmas is slowly invading the store and it isn't even Halloween at this time.

I was walking in the door with a huge box of shoes when Tess said, "Do you have a return mam?" Tess was working in the dress department ,she carried the box to the register, processed the refunds for a total of 5 pairs of boots! She was so kind,helpful,kind and efficient. Then I went to the jewelry department to pick up a diamond ring that Natalia had sold to me. She is so knowledgeable, and seems to know what I like! In fact, I bought another diamond ring from her! She makes sure that I get the best deal and the most Macy's points possible. She is my friend and simply exudes the Spirit of MACY'S.

This very sweet woman was on her way out, I'm almost certain she was off the clock (she was an employee with Macy's) and I asked if where I could go to ask for proper help at the fragrance counter, she was kinda bothered at first but then put all her stuff down, including her food she was eating on the go, and had a pleasant chit chat with her and she grabbed the perfumes I was getting my wife, gave a complimentary juicy couture gym bag, rang me up and I was on my way. Such an awesome sweethearted woman. This was last minute shopping Christmas eve to add. Always a pleasant experience at Macy's.

I love shopping at Macy's! This store has something for everyone. I appreciate being able to always find something to wear here, even at the last minute. Trendy kids' clothes are available in a variety of styles and sizes. Coupons are amazing and sales are the bomb! I shop discount stores, too, but I've never found one that consistently beats Macy's prices. Most of the sales people are knowledgeable and patient, even when your 15 yr. old has to text each outfit to his date for her approval! Consistently offers quality and bargains for shoppers willing to peruse their quantity of merchandise!

"Blast from the past" was what I thought as I entered this store. The store had a feel from the 90's and I can't put my finger on why. Maybe it was the old look of the place or how jammed packed full of stuff it was. Even the entrance doors screamed "Outdated". The staff were helpful enough in directing me to the proper desk for picking up items ordered online. Checkout was relatively quick with no lines and no wait. I don't know if this was due to the time of day I was picking up or if there are just small crowds at this location.

Nice people, I feel like they did a pretty solid job of service, product was a little lacking, but I'm not sure what to expect from a department store anymore. It was a trip down memory lane oh, because it reminded me of my youth and how much we would look forward to going to the department store, because they had everything there! It's amazing how much things have changed now. Anticipation really seems like it is a thing of the past, doesn't it? Nothing like a little philosophy and Analysis in the middle of a review, right?

Their carpet section is horribly managed. We visited them twice, and they never have prices available on half of the items and make you wait for text response from a vendor who quotes whatever price they want depending on timing of day. The management (Lori D. and Natalie F.) just shrugs off responsibility claiming this is a leased area. Even if you look past your frustration and try to buy something, they then claim that there's no one to pack or help bring the carpet off the floor and just tell you to come some other day.

Unbelievably BAD SERVICE. DON'T EVER BUY FURNATURE FROM THEM. Long, long story short, we've been sitting on a rug in our living room for a week waiting on a sectional couch to come. They've missed 3 different delivery dates and do so with about as bad a customer support and communication as possible. They really don't care...and they are horribly inept. Never left a 1 srar zero review before but that actually seems too high. They deserve a zero but Google won't let me post a zero star review.

We were visiting Austin from out of town and used down time during our visit to do some necessary shopping for my husband who will be escorting our daughter on the football field for Homecoming weekend. The store was laid out very nicely and was merchandised well. We were able to find everything that we needed and then some. The staff was very friendly. It was a great feeling to get all of our shopping done in one location while taking advantage of a great sale.

One of the greatest shopping experiences I’ve ever had! I was greeted and assisted by Angel Martinez. Amazing knowledge of fashion and astounding customer service skills. I hope the woman working in shoes on Wednesday 11/17 (morning and early afternoon) is paid well. She was doing the work of several people and was waiting on quite a few people at one time but still managing to help everyone out. I also bought a purse in another adjacent area, and I found out the woman in shoes was also ringing up the purses! They had a lot of good deals on these items, and I found what I needed for a very reasonable price.

These out of town Macy’s are good to visit. This is the largest store at Barton Creek mall. There is a lot of parking outside with an entrance on the women’s section and an entrance onto the men’s section. Macy’s does exude high quality, yet has sale items year round that bring some high quality items within the price range of cheaper stores - always worth a look. The best Macy’s still remains the one on W 34th street, NY

I love this department store! The make up and parfum department had plenty of samples, the store was organised and clean. The staff was wonderful and there were plenty of people to help. The staff were all dressed professionally and with attention to detail. I especially enjoyed the employee working the dine jewelry counter, Tatiana. She was very helpful and new her product. Her customer service was outstanding.

Had to return some jeans that I mistakenly bought thinking they were another pair. I didn't have the receipt so I thought I that at best I might get some sort of credit but I wasn't expecting anything. Got a full refund to my card and I immediately bought another pair that was actually right for me. I will gladly continue to shop here just because of how easy they made it to correct my mistake

Nice and supporting staff helping patiently to chose every items on the display. Sometime later we had an change of heart and the staff was able to pick the preferred item. With Macy card we were able to get additional discount on top of current offer and it was around 20% further of the discount price. Good choice to visit while planning for an gift/gift card option. #HappyShopping

If I could give this place zero stars I would, everyone there seems so miserable starting with the manager (Angel) he was not helpful at all despite my best efforts. And I got a major attitude from (Marlene) at the At your service station. Never have I been treated so poorly in a Macy’s. Not professional at all and it makes Macy’s really look bad because they represent Macy’s.

While I'm definitely not a department store shopper per say, Macy's has always provided a consistent and overall good experience. The store was clean and well stocked and the staff was helpful enough but their point of sales system was a little antiquated resulting in a slow purchase process. Still, it was a way better experience than most of their competitors

We were at macys at Bartom Creek Mall, in the cosmetic and lotions department, the lady who attends us was amazing, her named is Maria Villegas. All the tine we spend with her she was great, gave us advices on what to buy. Also she did a make up test on my mom and she looked great. She told us that it as her last three day cause she's moving to Nordstrom.

I normally buy everything at Macy’s, but the shoe clerk at the little Finish Line here is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. He’s not friendly or helpful with customers at all. He just watches anime instead of helping customers and then is rude if a customer interrupts his show with questions. Definitely buying shoes & socks elsewhere

Ms. Kim is the sweetest Lady. She helped my Mom and myself get our necessities for my daughter's wedding in the hosiery department. She sure can move fast between the register and the dressing room. I only wished someone could have helped her but she was a trooper and handled it very well. I recommend Ms. Kim highly to anyone!

Would definitely come here at Macy’s at Barton Creek and ask for Maria Villa Cortez. She recommended the best men’s perfume and know how to do make up so well! She speaks Spanish and English perfectly just in case y’all are having trouble. She’s moving to Nordstrom in a few days so hurry! 10/10 best experience ever!

However, my friend needed a nice outfit for a dinner in size XL and came out with no luck, hence why I have it 4 stars - win for me but not for her, and that's no fun when you're shopping together.
