Diane the principal got on the phone the day after they offered my daughter a spot here. She listened very attentively and asked very detailed question to make sure my daughter will get with a teacher in coming September which will help my daughter thrive in the program. She took notes even. This differ drastically from my experience with the current principal of the vsb school catchment school my daughter attended September 2022/23 year. When I made 5 attempts including in-person appointment visit to ask the principal which of the 2 teacher I wanted for my child and the reason for this (due to her social and outgoing personality), that principal just tried to brush me off every time and told me all teachers are equally good. My daughter loves the teacher she is assigned to. She likes going school more than missing school to go Hawaii for a week. That tells you how fun the teacher makes learning at school.

Doug Roch has been the principal here for about 2 years and I personally love his style. He is very approachable, he listens to you when you have a concern and he always has a smile on his face. He does his job well and I think we're lucky to have him as our principal.

Very good school half the kids are stupid but it's fine. The teachers are ok apart the fact they can't spell french correctly themselves.
