I had Miss Grudman as a teacher back in the 6th grade. I just graduated high school this year, and looking back at all my years Miss Grudman was by far the ABSOLUTE WORST teacher that I ever had in my history of attending school for so many years of my life. I've attended Kerrisdale from Kindergarten to grade 7, then attended about 4 different high schools before i fully graduated this year. So obviously I went through so many teachers. I've been through about over 100 teachers and MISS GRUDMAN was actually the worst teacher ever and I still think about it to this day. I had a lot of anxiety in the 6th grade and she did not make it any better. I remember she would have favorites, particularly, the popular boys. Which is completely ridiculous for a teacher to treat students of which whom are more popular and treat them better than the quiet kids. She would also never try to teach all of her students, as in she would send the ones she didn't wanna deal with to the Young school resource teachers. Every time my mom dropped me off before school, I would get major anxiety and feel sense of hopelessness and felt terrified. Every time I walked into her classroom, my heart would start bouncing. She would always glare at me, stare at me, and overall just made me feel very uncomfortable. I would always be so scared to ask for any help with my school work because when I did, she would always give me a bad vibe and make me feel like she was tired of me, and that she didn't want to help me. I remember one time the class was about to go to French with Madame Tula and we were all sitting at our desks. Grudman was in a bad mood, (and when she got into her bad moods she would act crazy and bipolar, it was so odd) she started pacing around the class complaining about god knows what. Like we were all so sick of her complaining because that's all she would do was complain about us not meeting her expectations. Anyways like I was saying we were all at our desks, and sitting down about to go to French class. She all of a sudden snaps and starts yelling at this one girl named Linda, I don't remember what exactly about. All of a sudden she picks up a desk and fully shoves it at Linda, and it hit Linda's feet. I was in complete shock, I couldn't believe my 6th grade teacher threw a desk at a kid. I remember the whole class had their arms crossed on their desks because they were so terrified of her raging at Linda. I felt so bad because Linda was such a nice girl and didn't deserve a teacher to do that to her. Especially in front of the whole class. I can't imagine what the poor girl was thinking. Another time I remember we were doing a project study on slaves. We had this helper named Lana, who was black. We were all sitting at our desks and she was teaching the lesson, when all of a sudden she used Lana as an example of being a slave. Remember again, Lana was black. She said something along the lines of "this is how they looked back in the day" something very similar to that. I was completely shocked and thought that was very inappropriate. But then again I didn't say anything because I was terrified of her, and neither did anyone else because they were probably also terrified of her.

My daughter had Miss Grudman, as a teacher. Reading all these reviews, I can't help but agree. My daughter had her for the 6th grade. Every time she would come home from school she would complain about Grudman. She asked me multiple times to switch schools, but I decided to keep her there since it was the most convenient for us. A few years later, my son had her as a teacher also for the 6th grade. My daughter warned her brother about Grudman, and he had to switch classes because of it. I do not like sending my kids to a school where they complain about their teacher, and it wasn't even one kid, BOTH MY KIDS COMPLAINED. My kids had a overall terrible experience at Kerrisdale, and i'm pretty sure that one teacher named Grudman ruined it for them.

don’t mind the name it’s not mine. anyways this school was torture it was terrible every student was so terrible and mean kids would leave school crying and nobody would really actually care many of these teachers and students made it much worse, not to mention the amount of super vision aids who have let literal fist fights happen they are not helpful, the learning is not easy and the bathrooms are extremely messy, i definitely do not recommend going here NOT TO MENTION someone tried to set our school on fire in grade 4 that’s just my personal experience but i’m pretty sure others can agree i do definitely miss the good parts because it wasn’t all bad but it could have been better

I didn’t have a very fun year in Ms Grudman’s class. I had a lot of anxiety around her and she made it worse. It was my first year at kerrisdale and it gave me a bad vibe for the school. I decided to move because of it. I wish I could have stayed because it was closer to my house, but I just got bad vibes from the whole school being in her class and having her as a teacher. She even hit the students with pens.
