I want to say that I like shopping here because it's only one block away from me. I also enjoy shopping on their website, which is not only convenient but also efficient. Their products are often on sale, and they provide Guarantees Best Prices in Canada -price matching Policy 。Taking the above advantages into consideration, I should give them five stars, but this is the first time I want to give a store zero stars. It's because of Marcel, an employee in the customer service center. A few weeks ago, I went to the store to pick up my online order, but I wasn't sure where to pick it up, so I queued up at the customer service center. However, Marcel was chatting with the person in front of me about many things related to the Philippines, and they chatted for a long time without any intention of ending the conversation. I had to say, "Excuse me, can I ask a quick question?" She looked unhappy as if I was bothering her. She should have checked how many people were in the queue while chatting and had skills on how to end conversations with talkative customers, rather than ignoring all of us in the queue. Today, I went to the store to buy a big bag of MiracleGro soil. I went to the customer service center and said, "I want to buy this bag of soil, but can I price match it?" She widened her eyes and said, "Of what?" Oh my God, what kind of conversation was that? It's as if I was asking her to do something illegal or I asked a foolish question. I have never encountered this kind of customer service attitude. Unfortunately, her behavior ruined my good impression of the company because she was standing in the company's most important customer service center position. I hope she can improve.
Today I was at LD looking at vacuums. A sale sticker was in front of a display one, but I could not find the boxed one. I found a staff person who seemed bothered by my asking for assistance. She said the sticker was not for the displayed one but rather the one beside it, for $369. I mentioned that could not be it because the sale sticker said $269 on sale for $149 & the one she was pointing to was a different one & a much higher price. She realized I was correct & proceeded to aggressively pull off the sale sticker & went to a nearby computer, couldn’t get online & disappeared, never returning. I asked for a Manager who was very helpful. I explained what happened but she could not figure out who it was. If a Store Rep cannot figure it out, why am I expected to? That’s what they are there for. To help. The Manager agreed. I left and did some shopping at IGA. I returned to see if she was back on the floor and she was. I asked her if she remembered me from a hour earlier at the vacuums to which she replied no. I reminded her of how unhelpful and rude she was & that you don’t leave someone standing there & not return. I asked for her name as she was not wearing her name tag. Her name is Ruhnana. She needs some additional customer service training on how to treat people.
Thanks to Daniel and 2 other team members this November6/23; apologies for missing those others' names. First they helped identify the right cords and adaptors to enable a back up to my Mac, from a Samsung note3. Then Daniel tested the SD card that had been giving error messages, and, I thought, had disappeared 1000 pics. The card may be corrupted, but not necessarily ruined; the data appears to be accessible. (valuable new info). And removing the card, allowing the phone to operate independent of it, has helped its functionality; it's not shutting down constantly. Fortunately my research into data recovery helped me appreciate the help the tech staff provided; and the money saved; to be applied to new phone purchase. They helped provide a few days breathing room for that decision. Thank you!
I have been prescribed my medication with London Drugs on Vine location for last five years. There are a few noticeable pharmacists who are approachable and helpful. Among these, AMBER, is stood out to the top to me. The reasons I say that she take the time to answer and to look up the information with details for me. She gives me a thoughtful advice and to lay out some options to me to choose from. As well as, she has a sincerity and patience to listen my concern that I can tell. I feel comfortable and trust with her warm care toward a patient like me. It is the best medication after all.
99 percent of the time this store and staff are good, just one negative experience. I was at the self check out, purchasing my bag of coffee, the self checkout wasn't working so I asked for help from a staff I had not seen before, she was horrible, rude and dismissive. So I put the coffee back on the shelf and left without purchasing. She made it clear that my question at the self check out was not worthy, she was not interested in solving the issue I have not seem her since, (so glad), the woman who is usually at the self check out is totally fantastic. I wanted to write and acknowledge and recommend the most amazing customer service Ella at LD Broadway and Vine just provided my son & I over the phone to help locate and secure a specific iPad we were looking for . You seldom see such great professional , friendly, helpful, & efficient service.... her great effort just ensured I shop at LD much more....Kudos to Ella, & Kudos to LD for having such a great employee....She is a great representative of the company and they are lucky to have her
My neighbourhood London Drugs, love it. Clean, staff are friendly and helpful especially the ladies at Customer Service. Good prices and easy price matching, a little disappointing to learn that when Pharmacy closes early some products are not available like over the counter sleep aids which is strange. Didn’t like that they carry my Uncle Lees green regular tea anymore but Safeway does. All in all a great store!
This London Drugs is amazing, its location is helpful for people close living nearby, and price-matching allows its prices to be minimal. The products are plentiful and offers a wide variety of items. Definitely recommended!
