I had the great pleasure and experience to rent 2 cars/rentals (2 different periods of time : July 2021 pick up Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos drop off the same & August 2021 pick up Piraeus Main Port drop off Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos) and the only thing that I would like to post here as a review is that "Kosmos Rent A Car Greece" is and must be your only option for renting a car in Athens!!! I strongly suggest to each and everyone of you that you are interested in renting a car in Athens and the area of Attica to select Kosmos rent a car as there are many reasons for that and according to my recent experience : 1. The communication with the personnel was perfect all way long the rental process (before, during and till its end)! 2. there was honesty between us and whatever has been agreed as any parameter related to the rental was fully and 100% kept for both parties! 3. the cars that I rented were as described, as agreed, new and in top condition! 4. the prices are very competitive -something that I strongly suggest to the company to preserve and/or even try to provide their best- and the service provided is the best indeed! For me everything therefore is a strong plus and Kosmos rent a car is from now on my only choice for renting a car in Athens/Attica without any doubt or second thought! 5 Stars no doubt! Keep up the good work Kosmos Rent a Car!!!

Kosmos is the only way to go when renting a car in Greece. We looked at many options for our long term (4 month) rental, but in the end followed the advice of Greek friends and rented from Kosmos. We are so glad that we did. Every step of the way they were wonderful to deal with. Mr. Kostas suggested a different car than we had planned on (at the same price) when they learned of our travel plans, and they were right on target. The car was perfect and served us well. We left with a map of suggested things to see, helpfully marked up by Nikos, and Nikos even gave us his personal car USB adaptor when we asked if the car had one (it did, but he loaned us his as well). We touched base with them during the course of our rental and they were always friendly. The return was smooth and efficient, and we left with the Sales Manager's business card for future trips. Thank you Mr. Kostas, Nikos, and Christos!

Good company. Kyros at the airport was great on arrival and departure. I had rented an automatic and received a manual instead. It caused some stress (and some stalls) but for the most part it was fine. Drivers in Greece are very patient most of the time so I managed the driving just fine. Upon return, I pointed out the mistake to the company and they gave me a small refund. All in all, a positive experience. The Peugeot 108 they gave me was modern, with a huge sunroof, lots of space for me and my stuff and was fun to drive. It had a "upshift" and "downshift" indicator light which was very handy for someone who hasn't driven a standard in 20+ years (although it wasn't always correct with its suggestions). I highly recommend Kosmos for service. efficiency and quality.

Never going to rent again. We had no issues before so we booked a car last minute for Easter holidays. When we went there to collect it, they proposed us a different deal from the usual: instead of keeping 800€ and paying 24€ of insurance, we could pay 44€ and they only kept 100€. We thought that it was a new deal, partially also because we had rented car from them a couple more times before and they remembered. Instead we found out why. The car was apparently okay and looked only a little bit old, but it had in fact a very worn out clutch. This changed completely our trip and we couldn't enjoy half of the things we wanted to do, because the car was struggling at every small hill, and Greece is a very mountainous country. Very disappointed.

I rented a SUV in which i explained upon inspection the tires were not good and unsafe. The agent agreed however said it would take >1.5hours to get another SUV in. I did not have time to wait and took the car on my journey. Where I was, it rained and the tires kept skidding. I emailed the rental company explaining my frustration of how this vehicle was not safe for my family and I. It wasn’t until I emailed the company 2x did I get a response. The response was the car was inspected and no issues were found. The car not only had bad tires but shook at higher speeds. This company will lie to you just to get your money. I have provided proof of the tires. Point is:spend a little more elsewhere to know your safety isn’t at jeopardy.

This particular car rental agency in downtown Athens Greece provided one of the best car rental experiences I've ever had. The entire staff process and particularly the helpfulness that was extended by the staff was fantastic. I would like to thank Theodore in particular who provided excellent service. Upon return I might add, that when feeling the guests up I had to get it to the halfway point, however gasoline stations in Athens pump the gas versus cell service so they filled the entire tank up which was 60 euros. The person who checked us back in said no problem I'll refund you 30 Euros! That certainly doesn't happen every day. I highly recommend this agency specific in Athens and thank you very much to all those reading!

Excellent service. When we booked our two-week rental, we asked via email if we could meet them at the Sofotel at Athens Airport since we were spending the night before needing the car. They said it was fine, and at the appointed time, our car showed up at the hotel. The employee who greeted us was friendly and professional. The car was what we ordered and it was in excellent condition. We had no problems with the car and felt safe in the rental, which has not always been the case with other car rental companies here. We dropped off our car at the airport as we prepared to continue our trip via ferry. The drop-off went as smoothly as the pick-up. We will always use Kosmos in the future.

Kosmos’ customer service is awesome! Rented an auto sedan at airport for our trip carrying sports equipment for a competition in Patra. However one of our sports equipment had caused a crack on the windscreen. Called Kyros (super friendly & efficient Kosmos staff) and he directed us to his team in central Athens to help the situation. The fantastic team in Athens central Kosmos office offered to prep an auto van to replace our rental car at a great price and more spacious ride. They even took out the passenger seats in the van to make ample space for our sports equipment. We thank you sooo very much!! This was customer service at another level.

Our experience was fantastic! We asked our concierge at the Hera Hotel to assist with a car rental. The staff at Kosmos were professional and efficient. Less then 24 hour notice, Kosmos was able to provide an automatic car with GPS. They delivered to our hotel and ensured that everything worked properly for our drive around Greece. We chose the unlimited miles since we went from Athens to Delphi to Sounion all in one day. We took scenic routes down the coast to watch the sunset in Sounion. The car handled all the roads and mountain driving. It was a wonderful experience and would recommend Kosmos to anyone who is inquiring about transportation.

Overall good experience. We reserved an automatic and were prepared to pay extra for it. Upon arrival no automatics were available. Luckily I can drive standard so it was fine. Car didn’t have Apple car play or USB charger so bring a cigarette light converter. Car was fairly dinged up and had 60k miles on it. We arranged for airport drop off. This means you meet an employee at the departure area, not a super clearly marked thing. Would do again but wish i understood all that we were getting into beforehand. Shoutout to Kyros he was great!

We kept our plans open, so we ended up on street one morning looking for a car to rent. Long story short, Sixt guys were too busy and arrogant to talk, AVIS was out of cars, Enterprise was closed... and then we ran into this place right in middle of other rental companies. They were extremely helpful in helping me decide the car depending on my plan. They were willing to work with my schedules. It was refreshing to see such an excellent service in a touristy place like Athens. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff saved our 2019 trip! We didn't have an international driver's license and were rejected at the corporate franchise a few doors down. Found by randomly searching the map, Kosmos staff showed empathy with our situation and recommended looking into applying for the international license online. This worked smoothly and they got us on our way quickly. Easy drop-off at the airport with coordination over the phone was another great benefit. Thank you, Kosmos!

Just back from Greece and this company was a refreshing experience. Turned up at the airport, met by a cheery gentleman despite a delay to our flight, given the keys and was off in 5 minutes. No queues at a rental desk here. Return was as simple. Met another cheery gentleman at departures, handed the keys and off we went. Their English was very good and they gave us a phone number to call should we have any difficulties.

Great experience with Kosmos! We rented a car for one week for travel around Greece with our family. It was an easy process. The staff all were very professional, and the cost was exactly as quoted. The return process was seamless. In fact, I forgot my glasses in the rental car, and one of the very friendly and kind employees drove them to my hotel with his motorcycle. From reserving the car online to pick up & drop off, the experience with Kosmos was seamless. A friendly rep was there to meet us at Athens airport. Car given was clean and new. We drove to Nafplio and returned the car to Athens city office. The route mapped by Google was an easy drive back by taking the exit "POSEIDONOS INTERCHANGE".

Great experience. Pickup at airport and returned to their Athena office near the Acropolis. The guy pointed to all scratches, asked to take photos, explained the car in details. I got automatic small car. Returned without any issues. Easy to contact via phone or text messages. I will rent from then again in Greece.

Friendly staff with great customer service. Sixt wasn't able to rent a car to us despite having a reservation and we would have been stranded. Kosmos rented us a car on the spot AND at a cheaper price for the same class. Vehicle was excellent on all roads and had upgraded amenities. Would highly recommend them.

We needed a car since our original rental cancelled our reservation and we called Kosmos and got a car the same afternoon. Process was very easy, and return was the fastest ever. Everyone we interacted with was very nice and friendly. The main office was very neat and clean with good health measures in place.

Helpful, responsive and service minded staff. We picked up the 2 cars in the center of Athens and returned them at the airport after a week. The process was very smooth. The cars were in good conditions and the rental prices were very reasonable. Next time I travel to Athens I will rent my car at this place.

Picked it up at Athens, dropped it of at Thessaloniki (+250€ fee, a bit expensive). + The renting price itself is on point. + You can pay with prepaid creditcard here. + Warranty refund went very quick. + Good help and explaination from the staff. - Price of other drop Point is a bit hard.
