EDIT: I've since upgraded my original review, and having shopped at Konto again I think my first experience was an unfortunate aberrancy that is not reflective of the general customer service at this store. After I posted my review I was contacted by the store manager, who apologized for my experience and offered to make things right. Subsequent trips to Konto have gone off without a hitch and I greatly enjoy their products! The service at Konto was pretty good, but the build quality leaves much to be desired. We recently purchased two Mako nightstands from Konto and have had nothing but issues with them. The first nightstand we set up had very noticeable scratches and dings on the side, so we asked for an exchange, which (to their credit) Konto was happy to provide. They even sent out their delivery truck to facilitate everything. Our mistake, however, was assuming that this would be a one-off event, and not checking the second nightstand before exchanging the first. Of course, that nightstand was in even worse condition, and had several drawers that were absolutely stuck and misaligned. We ended up having to wait a month for the nightstand to be back in stock, before driving it back to Konto and getting an exchange. Thankfully my wife asked to see that nightstand unboxed before we took it home, because amazingly, it too had a defect - it was missing a peg and was wobbly. I must say that through this all, Konto has been easy to work with and willing to exchange without hesitation. Part of me wonders, however, whether the reason they're so willing to exchange is because they've had a track record of defective furniture. We just don't have time to keep calling and driving back and forth to get two nightstands set up, especially when those nightstands were $400 each. There are many other furniture stores in Edmonton, and in the future we'll take our business elsewhere.

We were in need of new bedroom furniture and checked out a few stores but always left feeling overwhelmed and confused about getting solid wood or not. . We ended up at Konto one day and found the sales staff to be helpful in explaining to us the advantages of solid wood and assisting us in determining what we wanted in a bedroom suite and they happened to have exactly what we were wanting. Not only did we end up with a brand new bedroom suite, we also ended up purchasing furniture to set up our home office. The sales staff isn't commissioned, which is great because you don't feel like they are trying to pressure you into a sale and you are able to go back to the store at any time, convenient for you and not just when your sales person is working. Another great thing was the delivery of the furniture. The delivery men came, assembled the furniture, placed it exactly where we wanted in the rooms and then took away all the packing materials. The guys were also very friendly and patient with us trying to decide where things looked best. I will definitely look at Konto when it is time to invest in more new furniture. Hopefully very soon.

I went shopping for two occasional chairs for my living room. Sofa Land referred me to Konto Furniture, where I was greeted by a friendly salesperson - Peter Field. Prior to showing me any of the floor stock, Peter took the time to inquire about the other furniture in my room so that he could show me suitable pieces that would blend and compliment. I did not feel any high pressure to make a hurried decision as he realized that selection takes time and that I needed to feel comfortable with my final decision. I left on Friday afternoon with Peter's card with the understanding that I needed to reflect and think about the purchase. On Monday, I received a gentle follow up call which prompted me to make the final purchase. I would highly recommend Peter Field and Konto Furniture for any purchases. There is a wide selection for all life styles and the sales persons are understanding and accommodating without any high pressure for purchase. In addition, the delivery process was smooth with friendly service persons.

Beautiful furniture; great prices; best of all is the care and attention you receive when there. Absolutely no sales 'tactics' ever used. They are there if/when you need help. And will bend over backward for you, whether you purchase or not. I recently had the pleasure of spending time with Wes, and felt as though he were a friend there just for support. My purchase details were handled by the store manager, Jorge, and he went so above and beyond (even manhandling several area rugs so I could match with the sectional I was purchasing, without a complaint and with a very agreeable sense of humour) that I was actually reluctant to leave. I could have spent the entire day there and been extremely happy. And to top it off, they deliver outside of Edmonton for a very reasonable price (including set up). If you are tired of being treated with indifference and /or downright rudeness, please go see Wes and Jorge at Konto. You will be happy you did..! Donna S

First time customer and am very happy with our experience so far with the sale staff & with customer service/warranty. We purchased a dining set and opted to pick up ourselves at their warehouse. Everything was brought out wrapped up already so we couldn’t exactly inspect it prior to them putting it in our truck. When we got home and noticed there were some obvious cosmetic flaws on the bench, they were super fast in making sure the issue got rectified after I reached out to them. Samira in customer service/warranty gave me a call within an hour and arranged for a replacement to be delivered in the next few days. Samira even sent pictures of 2 different benches that I could choose from. Considering this all happened on a Saturday, I was seriously impressed. The delivery people who came to take away & exchange the bench were very professional and did a great job as well.

Bought a bedroom set from here for 3300$ and it scratches so easy. I had the repair guy come out to fix it when we first got it and he told me himself that the quality isn't good anymore from this company they cheap out on the paint. Also was told I had a year warranty with any problems so I dealt with Kendra who works in that department and she gave me nothing but a hard time and said it's not covered and I also called the store and told me the girl who sold me the set no longer worked with them so they didn't provide me with much help. Then again the paint chipped from just walking into it or pulling a blanket on it and again they didn't even want to cover the paint tears on the furniture they said they'll give me markers to fill it in. They never once apologized for anything.. worst customer service. Would never buy here again. Worse place ever!

I have had the best experiences on both sales and services fronts with Konto. Dino Ganic, the manager, was so helpful in my selection of both in-stock and custom-ordered furniture. The staff was prompt in notifying me of arrival of all my orders. Dino looked after all my orders from selection right through to scheduling of delivery. He was personable, attentive to all my requests and provided exemplary customer service. The delivery and installation team composed of Mike and Tracey was awesome. They were so careful with my furniture and being very conscientious about not damaging the walls or floors. They were pleasant, courteous and worked hard to get everything right. If I need to purchase more furniture in the future, I would not hesitate to go back to Konto. The furniture are of great quality and the services are second to none.

This rating is based on overall experience. We had an issue with the color of the table we ordered. It appeared so different in the store than when it arrived to our home. I appreciated the quickness in which Fay Choy handled our return and reorder. Fay ensured our experience with Konto was a good one despite the table not being what we expected. He respected our space in allowing us to look around the store and answered all our questions without hesitation. He was professional and kind and was a pleasure to deal with. The delivery team of Mike and Luis were great. They called to advise me of the time window for delivery and were pretty spot on with their arrival. They respected our home and were efficient setting up our new table and taking all boxes and wrapping away.

My husband and I went on the hunt for new bedroom furniture not long ago. We visited several stores and eventually decided upon a bedroom suite at Konto Furniture. The sales staff was knowledgeable and no pressure, they really just tried to help us find what we wanted. The entire sales experience went great. The delivery team that showed up a few days later was also great (not the biggest boys but they sure were strong). The only hick up we encountered was one night stand showed up with a scratch in the top. We called the store and they offered to exchange the night stand or send out a service tech. Since the scratch wasn’t that bad we opted for the tech and he did a great job, now you can’t tell it was ever there. I would definitely recommend Konto to all my friends

We had a great experience with our sales representative, Fay. He knows his products, and listened carefully to what we said, so as to match the product to our needs. No pressure whatsoever! No attempt to upsell or add products to our purchase. We bought a dining table and 5 chairs after looking at a number of different options. Fay thought we were done and was pleased for us. Then the next day we changed our minds and went with a far more expensive option! We came back to reassure ourselves, and Fay took us through the two products again, patiently, to ensure we got what we wanted. He really listened well and in the end we were very satisfied with our experience with him. If we are in need of other furniture, Konto and Fay will be our go to store and person!

My experience with Konto Furniture was impressive. Starting with our sales person Peter Field who was so helpful and calming to work with. He showed me all the options available to meet my needs. I ended up buying a most beautiful kitchen table and chairs and a small tv cabinet. I had been to at least 15 furniture stores in Edmonton and couldn’t find what I was looking for. By chance I stopped at Konto. I ended up returning with concerns the tv cabinet might not fit in the space. He helped to see it was good and offered 48 hours to return if not a good fit. The delivery guys were the next great experience. They even took time to adjust the shelves inside the tv cabinet and I let them use our screw driver. Went over and above. Very helpful crew.

Buyer beware. I just made a very expensive error. I ordered 4 counter stools and was dissatisfied with the quality. I would never put something like this in my kitchen. The welding was very poorly done and looked sloppily painted over. It was very noticeable by all who saw my stools and they were surprised they came from Konto. I took pictures to Konto and showed them the poor workmanship. They said there was nothing they could do for me because they were a special order, made specifically for me! Yes, you read that correctly. If you special order something and it comes defective, you are stuck with it. I’ve learned my lesson and would never order anything from Konto again. I’m assuming that if I buy something off the floor, I can return it.

Konto furniture was so amazing in every department we delt with. Originally we purchased furniture from the newly opened outlet store and there staff were so helpful. When the delivery crew came to the home they were careful, polite and informative of maintenance of clean! Unfortunately I did not love the purchase that I choose. Phone immediately and they were will to refund me my money and help me find something that fit my needs better! The whole staff at Konto were so professional and polite! Nobody pressured us but they were there if we had questions. Thanks for the amazing service I will be returning to Konto in the future just because of their amazing service.

Peter at the St.Albert Trail location is FANTASTIC!! A+++ My husband & I just bought a brand new house. We were shopping for new dining room & bedroom furniture. Peter was amazing at giving us suggestions, to find exactly what we needed & loved! He wasn’t pushy at all. He was very sincere about helping us, find what we wanted. He explained the stain protection plan, really well. We decided to go with it, it’s an excellent value! We will for sure refer anyone looking for furniture, to Peter. There are a few more pieces at the store, we have our eye on. Once we decide on those pieces, again we will deal with Peter.

I had driven by Konto Furniture so many times and never went in - I thought it was about time to see what they were all about. I was greeted when I first came in and never for one moment felt pressured to make a purchase. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a variety of bedroom ideas from Canadian manufacturers. It just so happened I was looking to surprise my wife for Christmas with a King Size frame for our bed. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for - at a very reasonable price and ended up also getting the matching end table. Let's just say I have a very happy wife all thanks to Konto Furniture.

Our experience with Jalal at Konto furniture in Edmonton was very satisfactory. Jalal was most helpful without being the least bit overbearing. He assisted us with measurements and fabric choices, and was very personable, knowledgeable, patient and courteous throughout the process. We were able to sign out fabric swatches for a few days, which really helped us come to a decision. I feel that we were very well-informed about all our options, and am confident that we made the right choice for our living room. Our salesperson, Iris was very helpful and accommodating. Pleasant, professional and easy to work with! She helped make our experience a positive one! She worked closely with her manager to be able to get us the best deal possible on our furniture. The manager was also very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. He followed up immediately with finding us a replacement piece for our chair and was successful in doing so. We are very happy with our purchase and even happier with the great deal! It was a very positive shopping experience and we would definitely shop here again.

Very Poor Customer Service. Put a down payment on furniture in the spring and was promised that the furniture will be reserved for us, when our scheduled delivery date happened and furniture was delivered, we noticed the whole order was not there. We contact the store and they tell us mid-July we would see the rest of our furniture. Now its August and they tell us September. Very poor communication and practice from sales and management, selling items not even available. Worse than a used car sales person...atleast those people have the product they are trying to sell.

As always with Konto , service and the staff are above excellent. Went in to the outlet and we were greeted at the door by Peter ( which is always nice to be welcomed). We had an idea of what we wanted and Peter gave us the time to browse the store and explore on our own. No pressure whatsoever ( major turn-off in certain stores/outlets ). After browsing, we bought what we initially went to buy plus a couple planters and stands. Very pleasant easy experience and only gave 5 stars as 6+ wasn’t an option. Highly recommend either of their stores in the Edmonton area.

Let me be clear: quality of furniture is great and staff are awesome. However, when we got the couch delivered, they messed up the configuration and delivered the wrong one wasting everyone’s time right before the holidays. Contacted the sales rep, and they will be figuring out next steps. Will be updating review accordingly. Update 1: they set up a new pickup/delivery date and offered a small credit back. Will update review when new couch gets delivered. Update 2: they worked quickly to resolve the issue (same day). Also, their delivery people are great.

I have been dealing with Konto Edmonton North for quite a while now and have purchased many pieces of furniture. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the great quality of furniture but more importantly the exceptional customer service. Both Kevin and the Manager have always bent over backwards to help me out and have always come through for me. It's really great knowing that you are going to be taken care of and also get quality furniture at the same time. Every time I want to buy any new furniture, I always go to Konto first. You won't be disappointed.

Peter was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and the practicing of social distance was not an issue nor did it hinder the purchasing of a new couch. John who handled the payment and pick of the couch was fast, friendly and as well very knowledgeable and it was ready to go with minimum contact. Payment was not an issue to do to reserve the couch, as the deposit can be done online. The pricing of the couch was extremely fair and a great value. I would recommend shopping at Konto, great value, great style, and great to support local business

My wife and I are impressed and highly satisfied with Konto Furniture. We recently purchased home office desks and bookcases. The furniture is well made with many useful features and looks modern and stylish. Sales staff member Mr. Fay Choy was excellent to deal with, knowledgeable, helpful and provided great customer service. The delivery staff members Kobe and Jarryd were excellent, efficient and meticulous in setting up and installing the furniture. We have purchased furniture from Konto previously and have been very happy with our purchases.

We bought a table and chairs from Konto from Fay. We arrived just before the store was about to close and Fay stayed late to walk us through the store to see almost every table. We also bought an side board that was on sale and looks amazing in our dining room. When the table arrived the base had a few imperfections which I discussed with Fay. Within a few days he had another table delivered that was perfect. Can't say enough about how attentive the staff have been when we have visited the showroom. I would definitely recommend Konto Furniture!

Once again Peter and the Konto team were amazing. We had visited and purchased two chairs for our new home and needed an additional lamp to add an ambiance to the room. We strolled the show room and Peter walked us through the options and helped when ever we had questions. After a few looks at several lamps we had it down to 1-2 lamps and eventually fell in love with a beautiful brushed nickel corner piece that had three shades. It not only looks sexy but it looks amazing and adds a certain pop to the room. Great product and service, thanks.

Konto furniture has excellent customer service and a great selection. I purchased three "barstools" from them and mistakenly forgot to note that I needed counter height stools and not "bar" height. I called Jennifer my sales rep and explained the error and she immediately said no worries bring them back and we'll swap them out quick. I came in and they had everything ready to go. No questions, no problems, on my way in minutes. I was worried it'd be a problem like some other places but it was no hassle. I will definitely be coming back!!

Fay the salesperson was extremely professional and extremely helpful I was referred to this store by my son. I came back to see Fay due to the time he spent with me while I was shopping for my bedroom furniture a couple months prior to making my purchase.. I had a question and the manager came to respond to my question I was not impressed with the manager's disposition and response to my request. There is a nice and professional way to say NO and Yes. I will come back to see Fay again and make another purchase with him..

It took a few trips to the St Albert Trail location to choose the pieces we chose to updated our home. We were always met by Keira B and other staff members with great professionalism, product knowledge and amazing customer service. It has simplified the process of renovations we have undertook recently, including warehousing the items chosen until the home has been structurally updated to receive the new furniture. The flexibility has been appreciated! We are extremely pleased with our overall shopping experience!

Great experience! Konto was the only place we didn't feel we were being followed around while couch shopping. Fay was so knowledgeable, helpful and is just a great human. We ordered a couch in June 2021 knowing it would take a few months to ship (custom order during a pandemic). There were a few more delays due to covid but we were in no rush going in and expected delays. The couch arrived February 2022. Delivery people were also really great. Couch is amazing and we couldn't recommend Konto and Fay Choy more!

We found the Dining Table we were looking for at Konto. The Mariposa is the size and has the features we wanted. The set including the table and 4 ladder back chairs were offered as a package. We did not like the ladder back style chairs but another option was not offered by our sales person in the warm grey. We found chairs on the display floor with another table that was the style we preferred.These chairs could be purchased separately in warm grey. We made our own package. Thankfully we are resourceful.

Great places, didn't walk away buying anything, but with a quote on an item. Sales person was really helpful and took us to items that met our specs and priced stuff out for is. Was just a little disappointed that one of the items that we wanted was on clearance and were told that clearance items aren't covered under warranty. So they fix any issues with the furniture, but out of our pocket. That is probably going to be one of the main reasons why we are buying from their sister store Soda Land.

We purchased furniture from Konto and Keira B. helped us out. Keira is very patient and attentive to our needs. She is also a graduate from interior design so she definitely has the skills and eye for what looks good. She's also responsive to emails and she goes above and beyond putting together photos what goes together and and what's in stock. She also is good with giving you ideas. We love the furniture at Konto. Thanks Keira, I'd highly recommend Keira if you plan to stop by at Konto.

Konto St Albert - absolutely amazing . Every time my fiancé and I go there we are always helped immediately but never pushed ! Great customer service. We were helped specifically by PETER and WES and they are absolutely fantastic. Also to note that all the other employees are welcoming and helpful as well. I had other employees help me even though it was someone else’s sale. Overall I love this location, I bought a lot of items from here and love their customer service and products !

This is my first purchase from Konto in Edmonton. I won’t be using my sectional till late Spring so I won’t be able to give a review on it. However, I can definitely say that the service was fantastic. Peter was patient and very knowledgeable. He knew what he was talking about. He took me around the store and showed me pieces based on what I was looking for. Most important, he stayed with me the entire time. I’ll definitely be going back for furniture for other rooms in my home.

My Fiance & I went furniture shopping here at Konto and were very pleased and happy with the service we received by Faye. He answered all of our questions without any hesitation. Always took the time to understand the question we were asking so he can better assist us. Overall we are very happy with the furniture we picked and Faye made it an easy process. Amazing service!! We delt with Sage and she was so wonderful! We had alot of needs for the space we were working with and she made our search a breeze! She was very helpful and was one of the reasons we ended up buying our sectional! We picked up the sectional ourselves so I cannot review the delivery service, we live out of the city so it was going to cost too much for us to get it delivered. Very happy with our purchase and the service we received!

We looked everywhere for the right dining room set and counter stools. Konto had by far the best selection in terms of style and sturdiness. The staff (Peter was our agent) was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attuned to our wants. Delivery of some custom pieces was quick, while others took the standard few months to arrive. This said, it's worth the wait. Will definitely return to this store the next time we're looking for furniture.

My family and I were at Konto in St. Albert for the very first time. We were greeted by Marlene. We had vague ideas of what we wanted but Marlene was always there to guide us through. We went back a second time after deciding what we wanted and like the first time Marlene was there to welcome us back. She was very helpful, attentive, offered us style options and answered all our questions. Awesome service and we never felt rushed.

I liked the selection of good quality products. The showroom was full but not over stuffed to discomfort. Our sales associate greeted us quickly, gave us the basic info we needed, then left us to look. She kept an eye on us while leaving us space and checked with us when we had settled on an item. Best sales person I have witnessed in awhile. We will be back and buy our couch set as soon as we know where we are moving to. Thanks.

We had a great experience shopping for dining table with Jalal! He was so patient with us and showed us several different models that would fit the style we were going for. He made sure to note down all the models we were interested in and answered our questions without a problem. More than that, he was lovely to chat with. We are so glad we made our purchase with him and would ask for him should we come back for more furniture!

We had ordered a sofa set and it was delayed I was devestated because we had a house warming party in early November without a couch however Jorge did an unthinkable thing he lent us a sectional at no extra cost and he even delivered it personally. Jorge went above and beyond to help us celebrate our home we are beyond grateful to Jorge he is truly a great person. He treats his customers like family the way they should be.

We asked many questions and he was able to easily answer AND show us the quality product we were looking for! On top of that, the delivery team was as great. The SaintAlbert store is very clean. Fay Choy was our salesman. Showed me what I was looking for, let me take final measurements. Very polite and professional. After I told him I was going to pickup the sleep chest I bought he suggested an easy way how to get to the warehouse. I highly recommend this store as I have been in there a few times. Every time the salespeople are not pushy,very polite and helpful!

I bought a large sofa from this store. The purchase was completed quickly and the payment was divided into several payments. Thanks to the seller, I forgot his name, but he was just cool, many thanks to him. I received the sofa in two days, the movers installed everything. Shopping at Konto was very straight forward. We were shopping for a dining table and they had exactly what we wanted in terms of style and function AND it was in stock! The salesperson, Fay, was very helpful and patient as we struggled to choose the right colour and size for our new house. I have previously shopped at Konto and had a similar experience which brought us back again.

Amazing service. The salesman ( phillipino fellow) was fantastic. Took his time to measure the setting of furniture to match my drawing measurement on my paper. He explained the several options and how the who living area would look, even drafting it on paper to help me understand. I loved the whole experience. Jalal assisted me in purchasing a new couch. I was looking for a smaller sectional and he showed me all of my options. He answered all questions easily and was very pleasant to work with. Jalal was amazing! My friends and I came into the shop looking few new pcs for our new home. He went above and beyond trying to look for something that would suit what we were looking for. Great experience at Konto Furniture once again, our sales associate Sage Kennedy was so helpful and patient with us while choosing our sofa. Wide variety of unique pieces that you really can't find in any other furniture stores. There is a clearance section with such low prices that the minor cosmetic damage or just one of a set doesn't seem to matter. The staff are friendly and always asking to help you find something in particular. Overall a good furniture shopping experience.

Great experience with Jalal. We came in thinking the item we wanted wouldn't 1. Be in stock for a ridiculously long time and 2. Be overpriced as we found in other locations. We were pleasantly surprised to only have to wait a few months for our item and the price was right!
