Like some earlier comments indicate the whole processing is actually quite rapid. Including the waiting time outside I spent about 2h at the embassy and I have got my visa within a week. The security personnel and staff are very kind and helpful. From the time perspective (this is my second visa) I see a gargantuan leap in the right direction. I still find waiting for over an hour in front of the embassy in winter really a humiliating and very unpleasant experience. Nice and not overly expensive gesture could be 3-4 infrared lamps or even a ticket system so that one would not have to stand in the freezing cold. There are a few coffee shops nearby where one could wait... anyway at least families with small children are let in without this ordeal. On more technical note, one really has to follow the rules of admission. If you try to sneak some forbidden items in you slow things down for everyone. Just better leave these items in a hotel/car/wherever, just try to make this experience less taxing to everyone. In other comments there are already good advice's about places nearby where one could leave a bag.

If you go for a Visa, you'll find there are always a lot of people. The process is very streamlined and efficient. But there is no actual time to look at the individual cases. My experience is that they take one look at their computer screen and make up their mind. If they decide to deny you, there is nothing further they want to know or see. It's a little annoying because they simply assume something and can't be bothered to look at the actual stories, on the other hand they have to process a lot of applications and probably simply wouldn't have the time to look at each case individually. I know in my case their assumptions were very wrong and my paperwork would have shown that, but who knows maybe they are usually right and my case was just a one off. Either way I am no longer pursuing a B Visa. As for the people working there, I had no bad experience at all. They were always very nice and friendly, but they do close their mind when they deny you. My guess is they get a lot of verbal abuse so I really can't blame them either.

Absolutely amazing friendly environment.I feel like I am in nz for a while.Going back to nz after spending one and half years here in Germany.I applied B2 visa to see some of friends in Texas.supercool visa officer, was young gentleman at counter number 4.Asked me just 3 questions and visa approved on the day.But unfortunately got an email saying that they need more time to take the final decision again.send me a background check form I guess.filled that on same day and send them.In the mail it was mentioned they ll get back between 30-60 days but unfortunately it’s been now more than 4 months no reply no feedback lol.I couldn’t attend my friends wedding because of unpredictable visa delay. I think there should be a minimum and maximum time frame to update the visa case.absolutely frustrating for me. Just an issues, there are no locker for your bag and phones. So there is an option to HBf.u can find a small kiosk who can keep your bag and all items.need to pay 5 euro. It’s just opposite of the embassy.best of luck people .

I had an exceptionally positive B2 visa interview experience at this location in Berlin. The entire process was quick, smooth, and remarkably efficient. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff. They were not only highly competent but also friendly, greeting applicants with warm smiles that instantly put me at ease. It was clear that they genuinely cared about ensuring a positive experience for all visa applicants. One key takeaway from my experience was the importance of reading and following the instructions provided before the interview. This proactive approach not only made the security check and screening much smoother but also saved me from any unwanted inconveniences. Overall, my experience at the U.S. Consular Department left a lasting positive impression. The combination of a well-organized process, professional and friendly staff, and the emphasis on preparation and following instructions made the visa application process a stress-free and rewarding experience.

What an amazing experience, the German embassies in South Africa can really learn from this embassy. Unfortunately the waiting time for an appointment is quite long, we had to change our flights since it took 6 months to get an appointment for a tourist visa. Once you have the appointment, everything is great, well communicated and efficient. I wish the online system indicated the waiting times for an appointment before you pay and apply. I can imagine it creates a lot of frustration to find out that there’s no availability after you sign up and pay. 1. Communication is on top of everything, they give you reminders that your visa appointment is coming up soon. Digitization is great. 2. Visa came out in less than 2 days, super fast processing. 3. Everyone was lovely, professional and kind. Recommend checking the info they give out in their emails. Do not bring anything else except your documents and passport. No bags etc.

My wife requested a J2 visa with a valid DS2019 and all documentation requested from the website. She was asked a copy of my visa which is expired because as J1 the DS2019 is being renewed with every contract, but not the visa. However, I have a valid J1 status which of course allowed her to have a DS2019 extended from mine. They told her I need a non expired visa in order to process hers. They want me to leave the country and get back in just to have an updated visa. This of course causes me to stop my activities at least for a week to go back to my country get a new visa and then go back to US. They did not want to listen to her and see any other papers to support her application. I highly recommend to avoid this embassy to the best of your possibilities. By the way they give her the visa after 2 months so I changed my review, still not happy that they used my expired visa as an excuse.

Pretty well organized, everyone's extremely polite and friendly. As an opposite to what some others had experienced, the entire staff spoke clear english. I was a bit worried about driving and parking the car down there, but there's a designated space right before the Embassy entrance (there are no signs, but I assume it belongs to the embassy) where I parked without any problems. The only downside in my case was that my photo turned out not good enough. The good part is that there's a photo booth on the first floor, the bad part is that it takes precisely 6 EUR. All this could've been mentioned in the previous communications. My suggestion is to bring your biometric photo if you have one. And bring coins just in case: since this building is in the middle of nowhere, if you run out of coins, there's no way around it.

Just looking at all these nice reviews and wondering how could this even be possible.. Long story short, but a student was refused a F1 visa for NO reason, no documents were taken into consideration or even looked at. We are from Ukraine and USA is so known for helping Ukrainians, well clearly not at all! Having all required paperwork in order, having savings, and speaking English made a student “not meet the requirements of the classification of the nonimmigrant visa for which you applied”. How is this even possible? You are a shameful organization, who has no understanding of others, who just sarcastically wishes to “have a good” day when asked “what’s is the reason for denial?” The true reason of denial - your citizenship! This doesn’t happen to any EU member F1 visa applicants. I hope you sleep well at night…

Dear applicant, Due to unforeseen construction issues at the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy located at Clayallee 170, Berlin, all Nonimmigrant Visa appointments have been cancelled indefinitely. For urgent travel, you may reschedule your appointment at the U.S. Consulate in Frankfurt or Munich. We apologize for any inconvenience. Sincerely, US Visa Service Desk

YOU CANNOT BRING LAPTOPS INSIDE THE EMBASSY Seriously, you can't even leave them with security. This should be posted on the website and communicated when you make an appointment. This was communicated to me only when I arrived by a security guard who suggested I leave my laptop in the U-Bahn station... Anyway, US Embassy Berlin, if you are reading this... the fact that laptops are not allowed should be clearly communicated when an appointment is made/confirmed. The security guard was unnecessarily rude, but ultimately this issue could have been avoided if the laptop policy was clearly stated in advance. *I will say that everyone else working at the embassy was lovely very easy to work with, especially the other security guards. Super friendly and efficient once I got inside.

I got rejected today exactly after the officer realized I was Iranian. But it’s ok, their behavior was so good and he kept saying sorry for the situation and he said that he hopes things change in the future. Getting rejected because of Nationality is something I can never ever understand, but it’s not the embassy’s fault. I was a bit sure it was gonna happen because of the situation with America, but I wanted to try and take my chance. It’s truly sad how someone doesn’t get to do something only because of the place they were born at, and birthplace is not something we choose, but unfortunately I have to deal with it. Anyway, nice staff, I hope I go there again in the future when things are changed, and finally visit lovely America this time! Much love

Staff members are friendly and professional. In my case, my assistant made a mistake submitting an old photo. The consulate staff emailed me the next day after interviewing asking for a new one and upon receiving it issued my visa without delay. Also, the guards outside are very friendly and helpful. Worrying about whether I could receive the passport in time for my flight back to US, I went to the consulate to check if the passport is ready for pickup, Ben - the guard outside - helped pass my message to the consulate and told me the passport was on the way for delivery. I finally got the passport Friday afternoon and was able to catch my flight the next day. A big thumb-up for the staff and guards of US consulate in Berlin!

I went to the Embassy for the US visa interview and before entering the building the security lady told me that I am allowed only with the documents inside but not the bag. I asked her if there is a locker where I can put my bag and she said there isn’t. Then I asked where should I leave it and she asked me to go the hotel next to the Embassy and leave it there. She was sending everyone to that hotel. The hotel receptionist seemed to be aware of this and she was charging everyone a 5 euro cash fee to hold their bags. I cannot believe this is happening in a civilised country in 2023!! The experience with the interview was very pleasant, everything went smooth and quickly and I liked how everything was organised.

  • Max Fiebig

Achtung keine Taschen, Handys etc.!

I applied to visas many times in the past and I can state that I had the best visa procedure ever. All the policemen, security, staff, and interviewer were very kind and friendly. Everything went smooth with no issues. Yes, of course, you have to go through substantial security check before you go in, but that’s how embassies generally work and there are certain reasons for that. Bag. As it is stated on their website, you can’t bring any bags, phones or any other unnecessary things with you. You can leave your belongings at the near UBahn station which in 5 minutes from the embassy. There is a small kiosk on the right side when you enter the station. They charge €5 so have extra cash with you.

Overall, a positive experience - big thanks to the staff, security, and the consular officers. They all were smiley, ready to help, and friendly. This is the reason for the 4 stars. My feedback is on two counts: 1. There is no concept of appointment times. Then why call us at a particular slot if it doesn't even matter and people with a slot later than you can enter before you? 2. The no cellphone and no smart watch policy. It's true I should have been aware and figured out a way to arrive without those things, but it's 2023 - surely there must be a smarter way to figure this out without sending your customers away to scramble to find a place to leave their belongings when already there.

  • Gabriel Tasigeorgos

Seamless process for the travel VISA. In and out in approximately 30mins. Friendly and polite staff. They even provide a photo service (I believe at a cost) in the booth in case they don't approve the provided photo. Just follow the instructions given at the appointment service. Only grievance is the fact that there is no locker for your electronic devices (nothing whatsoever running on battery is allowed) so you have to leave them somewhere (your car being the most convenient choice) before showing up for the appointment (don't show up more than 10mins early and don't show up late). You can find city parking just across the embassy in the convenient stores or in nearby streets.

My wife just went for an appointment and to her surprise they don't have a locker there for the phone and handbag for her essentials. Is it the 1950s? A phone and a wallet (handbag for women) is essential for daily travel and they asked her to go to a nearby hotel. On the contrary I visited the Frankfurt embassy and they gave me a locker and the same for the Karachi, Pakistan embassy. This is really unprofessional and stressful for mere ordinary people. Update 1: She just called and told me the hotel is just a guest house and no one is there. Of course it's getting late. So now they asked her to go to a nearby Metro station and find a locker :)

Have been here many times, each time was positive. It helps to have a positive and respectful attitude. Bringing the correct paperwork, and being prepared goes a very long way. It took minutes to go in, apply for my families passports, pay, and leave. Not sure what to bring or not bring? Check the official website. I went just after Christmas 2021, and so many people in the waiting area were very angry or short tempered. The workers were nice, but looked very stressed out. Make sure to bring €10 in coins just in case you need to retake your photo. Make sure you have a US payment option or Credit Card (EC karte isn't accepted here).

  • Viktoria Saveleva

Positively surprised about the experience. Have applied for a US visa before, though this time in Berlin was far more superior. Staff is friendly, process is quick and straightforward. Windows opened exactly at 8.00. There were roughly 15 people in front of me, and I was done by 8.30. Indeed no belongings are allowed upon the security entrance. I was let in with a tote bag with only documents, BVG card and a mask. For those who arrived with a phone, a smartwatch and other not permitted items, the security personnel points you to either a hotel or a shop where your belongings could be stored. I believe it is a charged service.

  • Tushar Thorat

I am from Munich but since appointments in Munich was not available I opt for Berlin, apart from traveling to Berlin from Munich the total experience at Embassy was good, the staff was professional and soft spoken. It took some time for some candidates before me but my interview was fast and I got my approval immediately unlike other candidates before me. Also try to carry same photos which you uploaded while applying for visa, so they will not ask you to take new photos. Tip: Please take someone with you, who can wait outside with your stuff as there is no locker facility and its always best incase you forget anything.

  • Çağıl Gümüş

Here are the things you need to know. 1. No electronics. Either leave it at home or go to Wiener Conditorei across the street to leave your bag with all your electronics for free. ( Also try their cake and thank them since they are doing this for free) 2. Don't be so early. They really take few minutes before your actual appointment. You might need to wait outside. 3. Take a recently taken passport photo with you just in case. 4. Staff is friendly. Interview usually takes few minutes. 5. Everything was done for me in the span of 45 minutes. 6. They said my visa will arrive in 1 week via post. Good luck.

  • Sabrina Yamaguchi

I wanted to leave a thank you for this embassy - I lost my passport and realized only the day before I was meant to fly back to the US. They were beyond helpful and gave clear instructions for coming to this location to have an emergency passport issued. Everyone was so friendly during a really stressful morning - from the security guards to the people helping me behind the desk. I was able to take passport pictures there at the photo kiosk and have everything processed same morning…and was miraculously able to make it to my flight. Thank you so much for being so kind.

  • Suzana

IMPORTANT: you CANT take ANY bags with you in the building. The only thing you can is your passport, money and your documents. No phones, no wallets, no bags, no credit cards - NOTHING. Of course I knew this only when the officer refused to let me in. Got really stressful because I was about to be late. Next to the embassy, 2 min away there is a hotel where they can keep your bag for 5€. It is a solution but it would have been good to know it before. Otherwise, everyone is very kind and professional. Everything is very well organized and goes smoothly.

  • John F McClellan

Just to clear up some things to help! 1. They have a place to store your bags and belongings including cellphones, so you don't need to leave it at home, they also have small lockers if you don't have a bag. 2. There is a small wait before security outside, dress appropriately. 3. Bring something to read in hard copy form while you wait (although my wait was short). Overall from security staff to the staff inside, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Cannot imagine a better staffed embassy. They make everything simple and easy to understand.

  • Linus Moser

I recently had the privilege of visiting the US Embassy in Berlin for my B1/B2 visa application and I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding level of service and professionalism that I encountered. I was amazed by how swiftly things were handled. Every step of the visa application process was clearly delineated, and the email support I received from the staff ensure that I had all the information I needed to navigate the embassy's services effectively. Overall, my experience at the US Embassy in Berlin was exceptional.

  • Daniel Li

Needed a visa because I've been to Iran. Everything has been been very uncomplicated and people are very friendly. You are only allowed to enter with wallet and documents. Leave tabacco, liquids, bags and and electronic devices at the small shop at the U-station exit. The nice elderly lady will charge 2€ for that. Had appointment at 8:15, could enter at 8:15 and then it took 15min of queuing and my visa was approved. Interviewer asked 5 questions, which took maybe 2 minutes. I did not expect it to be that quick. Good staff!

  • Leah Rae

Why do y’all care now? After how you denied my boyfriend who I’m trying to marry? He went to the us embassy at clayallee in Berlin at 9 am on February the 6th 2018 to have his interview meeting to get his us visa. When he went to speak with the interviewing consular officer, the officer did NOT ask my boyfriend for one single proof of documentation and denied him after only one minute of the meeting. He should have been asked to see his papers. I don’t care where he’s from he’s a good law abiding citizen of Germany.

  • Mark Turner

I had an appointment to renew my passport at the US citizen services department. If you have all of your documents together it is really quite quick and painless. You must have cash or a credit card to make your payment. Make sure to read the information on their website carefully to avoid any problems. The personnel are friendly and helpful. Oh, there is still a photo booth in case you need to get a passport photo taken. They can't give you change so make sure to bring Euro coins if you need to use the machine.

я приїхав з україни і сказав, що метою моєї поїздки є поїхати у відпустку, тому я не отримав візу, я просто отримав синій аркуш із написом, що я не маю достатньо доказів того, що я хочу робити в Нью-Йорку, яким видом країни - це те, що насправді говорить не про нас i come from the ukraine and said the purpose of my trip is to go on vacation so i didn't get a visa i just got a blue sheet that says i don't have enough proof of what i want to do in newyork what kind of country is that that really says not to us

  • Leonardo Antiqui

I had a visa appointment here. The whole process took like 40 min, because there was a line inside with about 15 people. They don't allow you to get in with backpacks or electronic devices and they don't store them while you are in either. They suggest two places that "offer" the service. One of them, the hotel, charged me 5 euros. I found the staff friendly overall. The interview itself took 5 minutes at the most and they approved the visa at once. I received my passport back by mail after 4 days.

  • pundrich

We are thankful for all the staff at the consulate - from the people replying to emails in a timely and kindly way, the security making sure everyone is safe in a polite way, the consular agents that are fair, respectful, and very keen to help. We couldn't think about a better experience, and during a period of crises such as COVID, the consulate excel in providing a mint service. Thank you, consulate of Berlin, my family, and I will never forget how kind, respectful, and helpful everyone was.

  • Gabrielle

I went for a passport renewal due to a name change. Although my 1:15 appointment turned out to be closer to a 2:15 appointment, I had a very positive experience there. The security team were all friendly and the woman who handled my application was very helpful. I will be traveling to Belgium in 2 weeks and they gave me the option to keep my current passport (since it is not expired) and mail it to the consulate to be voided for the new one when I return to Berlin.

  • Amiri A

F1- Student visa process was quick and well organized. If you just bring all documents as indicated on your confirmation page you should be good to go. Staff is friendly and professional. I am surprised by the amount of people complaining about the storage. The instructions clearly indicate what items you are allowed to bring inside the embassy and which ones you shouldn’t bring. The instructions also indicate that there is no storage / lockers inside the embassy.

  • Alexander Beridze

Been yesterday on that Consulate. No service you cannot leave the bag or your phone. You need to go near metro to leave all stuff. Inside when you enter no to seat. People stay on feet's. Provide all my documents and consular worker did not ask why I am going to us. No respect to people. First time I saw like that consular worker, looks like a clown. Stupid questions and finally refused visa. Mr consular worker God will decide what to do with you.

  • TIAN JIA

I'm the last applicant before lunch time. The staff is so arrogant and ignored everything I mentioned. I brought everything that can support my application but they refused to look at!! REFUSE!! And don't even listen to what I said and what I'm asking, leaving me at the counter and rushing to her lunch! I have to wait for additional 1 or 2 months or even longer because of that and miss my business meeting. What a lovely VO and embassy.

  • Ten Nyima

It’s first and last time!! Such a bad experience. My GF got wrong visa and there’s no way to contact them directly through phone. We wrote email since 1 week and there’s no reply at all.. She’s flying next month and that basically means she won’t be able to fly due to your amazing job!! People who work there are nice but not doing their job well!! How comes that someone can give a wrong visa and won’t even help to solve it

  • Ahmed Kazim Fakih

Easily the most friendliest and organised consulate I have been to. I was expecting the staff to be strict and for it to take a while but from the security guards to the consulate staff, everyone treats you nice (as decent humans should do) and make you feel welcome and comfortable and process is efficient and fast. You can store your bags in your car or at Edeka opposite to consulate as phones are not allowed

  • Nelly Dudukalova

The procedure is great, but the interview was very disappointing. My visa was denied on the basis that my parents are living in the USA and apparently because I’m Russian. I was in the USA 5 times, have 4 visas, enough money, great job in Moscow and etc, but nobody didn’t even look at my documents nor asked additional questions to realize that I only want to see my parents and not to move to the USA.

  • Dennis Watson

I never give reviews but felt todays experience at the embassy deserved it. I can't remember a time when I've been to an embassy with such happy, friendly and helpful security and understanding consulate staff. Yes, the wait was quite long but at which embassy is it ever short? They also have extensive rules about what you can't bring but they are all well communicated prior to arrival. Thanks again!

  • Jason G

I have visited this location 4 times in 2 years and it is always an extremely smooth a pleasant experience. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I've communicated with several of their staff via email and over the phone, and literally every single interaction has been a positive one. Thank you for your U.S. Citizens Services/passport staff. I can't speak highly enough about my experiences.

  • Valeria Bekhtereva

Successfully submitted the pass for a tourist visa which got approved by the officer right away. Totally recommend the Arab guy at the "local doener" at the Otto - Helene - Heim station who will keep your bag while you are entering the embassy for the appointment. Spoiler. You're not allowed in if you're carrying a purse, so don't bring anything but your pass / papers for processing

  • Sally Dollman

Sehr gut organisiert.

Vielen lieben Dank!

  • Miranda

Had my appointment on Monday. Everything was quick and smooth. Make sure you have new passport photos with you. (otherwise they will ask you to take new ones right then and there with 2 €5 bills) I received my tourist visa today (took one day to be processed and delivered). could also be due to being a visa renewal and not the first time. Thank you!

  • Carlos Alves

Very polite people. I applied for B2 visa. My interview took less than 3 minutes and my interviewer was very kind. Be honest and everything will be fine. Please don't take bags with you, you won't be allowed to have them inside the consulate. Read the form. it was unbelievable how many people with bags and having to run to leave them somewhere.

  • Yael Y.

  • Richie Kraft

Went to the embassy in summer for a J1 visa, the guards outside were really helpful and everything was smooth and pleasant. Staff was friendly and professional. Great experience! It would just be nice to have a proper storage space close to the embassy to leave the backpack etc. as many people need to travel to Berlin for appointments.

  • Alaa Aldeen Abo Sailah

Woow is being refugee in Germany a reason for not being qualified for the visa. I was in shock, I didn’t even ask any question. I have enough income and a long history of traveling and as he just heard the word refugee, he went like: sorry you’re not qualify for the visa. I guess this is what the American dream all about ‍♂️.

From the security guards to the US staff, everyone was kind, understanding and just generally amazing! Even with unusual issues arising, they made it a pleasant experience. Special thanks to my hero, a short, redhead with glasses in citizen services. Thank you all again for making a horrible situation easier and bearable to handle.

  • Benjamin Schell

I am a US citizen so only familiar with American Citizen Services. I have gone here twice for documentation when I had children born in Germany. Both times I was impressed with the overall friendliness, competence, and professionalism of the people at the consulate. I wish all government interactions were so smooth and helpful.

  • Maria Jose Flores Macias

They respond emails in a timely manner and are helpful. Make sure to arrive with no more than 10 minutes before your appointment as you will be waiting outside, no cellphone or any electronics allowed (you can leave them in the train station nearby). My passport was sent back 3 days after my appointment (visa renewal)

  • Masoud Aqil

I had a very positive experience dealing with the staff, who are really very helpful and careful in doing their job. I had the best visa procedure ever, all the security and interviewers are so friendly. Everything went so smooth. The security checks before going inside give you a safe feeling inside the building.

  • Joel M

Not really a pleasant experience. Expect a bit more friendliness from people being paid by our tax dollars. Have to go back in 5 years for kids passport and then hopefully never again. On the upside; parking was easy and not everyone was unfriendly, mainly the paperwork clerk and the zombies at the entrance.

  • Wendy Bell

The process was exceedingly efficient! I needed to renew my passport. I had an appointment and was in, through security, processed my request and out of the building within 20 minutes. My new passport went out per post in less than 2 weeks. Getting there with public transportion, however, DOES take a while!

  • Bill Jackson

Lost US passport in Berlin. Got appt day after email to Consulate US citizens service. New passport in afternoon on day of appt. Staff was kind, empathetic and efficient. Extremely happy with experience. My government took care of me when I needed them. Guess I’ll pay my taxes with a smile this year.

  • Siav Tork

The embassy doesn't provide lockers for non-Americans, but there is a kiosk on the opposite side of the street next to Edeka that lets you leave your electronics and pay a small tip. You are not allowed to bring in water bottles even if they are plastic; there is water available inside though.

  • Adem Ahmad

Von Anfang bis Ende super organisiert. Innerhalb von 20 Minuten war ich wieder draußen. Sehr nettes Personal.

  • Di

No one tells you you're not allowed to take a bag with yourself and then they tell you to go to the bakery and leave your stuff there. They also take your passport away without saying before that they will and they send it back per post so you're left without it for a couple of days..

  • Alexander Pacha

  • Jim Olivo

Lost my passport (stupidly) in Berlin on Friday before three day weekend. Was at consulate at 1015, seeing someone by 1030, emergency passport in hand by 1145. Everyone from security to passport person was as NICE as could be. Made all my anxiety go away. Thank you so much!

No te dejan pasar nada. Lean su hoja de confirmación. Ahí dice lo que se permite llevar!!!

  • Arthur G

Informative and helpful security guard. NOTICE: As of today Feb 19, 2019, all consular services including passport services are still suspended at this location (and in Berlin) until further notice. Photo of notice attached. Send an email to the consulate for assistance.

  • N Agrawal

Very efficient processing for visa application. Entry is permitted only with documents. There might be other possibilities of storage, but there is also a hotel at around 100metrs which offers luggage storage with just walk-in against a fee. This was super convenient.

  • Kais Jami

  • Cait Murray

I visited for the first time today. I arrived early and prepared. The staff was very friendly and informative. I was in and out in about 10 minutes for a passport renewal! Honestly, it couldn’t have gone smoother and the kindness of the staff made my day! Thanks!

  • Forouzan Valiey

  • Rizwan sheerazi

Overall, had the best experience. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. You just need to carefully follow the instructions mentioned on the appointment letter, literally everything was mentioend on it very clearly. Visa officers were doing their best.

  • Stefan Steinmetz

Ich erwarte kein "Welcome how are you" aber einen respektvollen Umgang.

Work on your Kundenservice!!!! Thanks

  • B. C.

  • Vicky Lara

The US consulate was really a unique experience, it was very well organised! Very friendly and professional staff as well. Applied and interviewed for my visa on a Wednesday, got my passport back 2 days later on Friday.

  • Viktoriia Osipova

I had a very good experience applying for a visa at this embassy. All employees are polite and ready to help. And despite the large flow of people, everything is done very quickly and efficiently. Thanks for your work!

  • Necati Kabil

Danke

  • Ahmed Mahmoud

It was good ,people are so friendly , they respect time .I had to go early as I have to go after to my Uni klinik , in 45 min everything was done .well organized and every thing was clear .thanks a lot for everything

  • Velma Kivali

The best embassy experience ever ! All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The security officers politely directed me where I could leave my bag and electronics . It took less than 15 minutes and I was done!

  • Pallavi Agarwal

I was there to apply for the visa to the US and the process was smooth fast and very organised!! Got done with everything within 20-25 minutes. One of my best visa application experiences. Thanks a lot!

  • Viancy Arias

I’m amazed, people always say it would be a rude interview, but NO! The staff is incredibly friendly. Everything was very fast. Maximum 20 minutes. Only 5 easy questions about my life and that is!

  • S a

Incompetent and useless staff would be putting it nicely. Nothing positive at all. I didnt expect anything more to be honest. Truly dreadful experience. Do you have a complaints procedure?

  • Ronny W.

  • Ahmed Chabi

Everything was ok, the organization was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Do not forget to leave your electronic devices at home. They are not allowed in the Embassy.

  • Michael Salmon

Note there is a color photomat in American citizen services, but you need 2 x 5€ bills. Would have saved me a trip to a photoshop if i knew this in advance maybe will save others time!

  • Kennie Roy

Very quick and easy procedure. The security guards and the officers were really nice and helped me get through the appointment with no worries. No facilities to store belongings tho.

  • Sven J

Vielen Dank.

  • Ashish Raj Sharma

Getting appointment was a challenge during to the pandemic situation. However, the interview experience was wonderful. Organized, friendly staffs and quick procedure.

  • Tom

Sehr unfreundlich.
