My wife and I recently visited Kokopelli Sweets and had the pleasure of trying their Rocky Road cake. Let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! The moment I took my first bite, I knew I had stumbled upon something truly rich and delicious. The Rocky Road cake was a perfect blend of flavors, with its rich chocolate base, fluffy marshmallows, and crunchy nuts. Each bite was a heavenly explosion of textures and tastes, leaving me wanting more. The cake was moist and indulgent, striking the ideal balance between sweetness and decadence. It's safe to say that this dessert alone is worth a visit to the eatery. Apart from the outstanding cake, the staff at the eatery were exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly greetings. They were attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met and answering any questions I had about the menu. What impressed me the most was their efficiency and quick service. In conclusion, I highly recommend Kokopelli Sweets to anyone seeking a memorable sweet treat. I will definitely be returning for another slice of cake.

I recently visited Kokopelli Sweets in Dallas, and I have to say, this place is a sweets lover's paradise. I enjoyed my experience so much that I went back for a second visit, and I would go back for a third time if possible. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering suggestions that made my visit even more enjoyable. The store itself is a candy wonderland, with a great selection of bulk candy, handmade truffles, and a variety of different chocolates. But that's not all - they also have homemade brownies, cakes, and cookies, as well as ice cream. I tried some of the chocolates, which were absolutely divine, and I also indulged in a slice of their delicious strawberry cake, which I enjoyed on their small patio. Overall, I had a perfect snack and a wonderful experience at this cute bakery. I highly recommend Kokopelli Sweets to anyone looking for a sweet treat in Dallas.

Though it's definitely after the traditional candy shop style, I must say it doesn't have the same feel. Besides the prices being rather high, there is very little notice on the windows to identify what/where it is. After 10 minutes of exploring the shop with the company of a VERY mildly interested cashier, I walked out without purchasing neither the taffy nor truffle I came in to try. So if you are in need of different flavored taffy or just need a candy fix in West End, try it. Otherwise, skip it.

So good. I got the mint chocolate chip and vanilla for my 5 year old and I. He ate all of it. Both scoops. I had to go back and get myself another double scoop to share with my husband. He loved their mango sorbet and pistachio ice cream. The mint was delicious. All their treats look absolutely delicious. Their chocolates are decadent. Their cakes and pies are fabulous. There's something for everyone here. The vibe is also great. I enjoyed coming here and would suggest it to anyone else.

Was excited to find a bakery near me. This place has several options, but I only tried the cheesecake. The cheesecake overall was 3/5 for me, but it threw me off when they poured Hershey’s chocolate syrup over my cheesecake. For a place I’m paying $9 for one slice I would think they would have more of an authentic chocolate sauce. Overall tho the place is super cute and clean. Has several options, I do want to try one of the brownies one day.

OMG, I took a walk around the market downtown west end area for exercise and found this quaint sweet spot that makes everything from pastries, cakes, cookies, brownies, pralines, and has a variety of specialty chocolates and candy. As the say, CHOCOLATE can be a delicious way to cure a bad day, so come one or come all to sample this sweet spot you’ve been craving for! Great for being the kids after school and any event for a treat!

Gelato was good. But for the price of $5.75 you get a small serving, which seemed like 3/4 cup. Wished the servings were bigger, but that is usually expected from a place like this (boutique candy/ice cream shop). We got 3 pieces of chocolate that came out to be $8.40! which, again, is also expected... but still. Spent approx $22 for; 2 small gelatos, 1 peanut butter cup, 1 turtle cluster and 1 orange peel., WOW!! pricey place!

I had the strawberry crumble cake and was very good. The people working were very friendly. Only downside was the plastic forks were a little flimsy which made the cake slightly difficult to eat, but aside from that it was extremely good. I would highly recommend to anyone in the downtown area

Visiting from Australia and saw this place on our walk. Amazing looking cakes and flavours. Purchased a couple of different Brownies and they were beautiful. I had an Oreo Brownie and my wife had a plain Brownie and a Salted Caramel/Butter Pecan Gelato. The lady that served us was really nice and made us feel welcome. Recommend to anyone who wants a quick sweet treat or needs a cake for any occasion.

Delicious gelato, coffee, and cakes! It's my first time in Texas, and this is a nice local store. Huge variety of options and super friendly service!!!! They have tons of cakes, brownies, candy, gelato, wines, teas, assorted chocolate treats, and assorted desserts! Highly recommended for all of the above and the quiet and friendly atmosphere. I will be recommending this place to everyone!!!! :D

  • Heather Carpenter

Such a cute spot, but small inside and was a little crowded when we first arrived. Due to the crowd we missed some options like ice cream and brownies. We were also never greeted or asked if we needed help which would’ve been nice considering we weren’t familiar with the place. So we grabbed a few fresh baked candies and a cold drink. It was a bit pricey for what we got. But delicious!

  • Guy Byars

Amazing fresh ice cream, new flavors each day. Mint chocolate chip malt ball is my favorite. Great candy and truffles. If the guy is there he stuffs your ice cream cone all the way down, instead of just putting a scoop on top. They also keep their ice cream at a softer temperature, ready-to-eat instead of frozen too hard. Definitely one of the West End's best-kept secrets!

This place is soooo cute it has many impulse buys so be careful! It has bulk candy and a aray of chocolate of which you can grab yourself! Amazing cake flavors, Gelato, coffee, Popsicles, and some interesting alcohol bottles! It's got inside and outside tables and seats as well it's the best little café I've been to so far you should definitely try it out!

In order to leave a comment I had to give it some type of rating. The lady bragged about how long they have been open and who bakes. ALL OF IT IS NASSSSTTTYYYYYYY FOR THESE PRICES IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD. JUST NASTY AND DISGUSTING. My friend and I were so disappointed. I mean so nasty my friend threw the whole cake away. DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL!!

  • Carlos Cuesta

Horrible ..how is a cup that size 7 something for two scoops,,thats a child's size or a sample size ..I could have paid less for over a half gallon at the grocery store for the same flavors..I don't mind paying when its worth it..I feel robbed and when I paid it asked if I wanted to give a tip?! Save your money and make something special at home.

  • Barbara Kilpatrick

We stopped in this store while on a field trip with 20 children. The owner set out the gelato early just for us and was incredibly kind and patient with the kids as they chose their ice cream flavors. I had a butter pecan gelato on a cone, and it was delicious! I would highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for something sweet!

  • Reagan schwab

We went on Saturday night ordered several items. Should have been charged around 28, which is very expensive. However they charged us 51. I told kiddo to get what she wanted. I gave her cash and let her order and lady workiing took advantage of her and us. I would never recommend anywhere who takes advantage of people especially minors.

  • Jamaal Steamer

Upon first walking in, I must say the place is nice and clean. I ordered a slice of red velvet cake and a slice of oreo cheesecake. To say the least, the red velvet wasn't what I expected it wasnt moist, tad bit of icing, and no flavor. The oreo cheese cake was decent. For the the price for both I was expecting more but recieved less.

  • Griffin Trading

Stopped in for some ice cream and gelato. Wonderful selection of baked goods and candies. Looking forward to returning and trying other desserts, like their red velvet cake.

$10 for a thin slice of cake is a rip off. The German Chocolate Cake tasted ok, but the size of the slice pictured online was much bigger than the itty bitty slice I received. I ordered through Uber and with fees and tip paid $16 for a few bites of mostly frosting. If you're craving a hunk of delicious cake, order elsewhere.

  • Andrew Chalk

Large selection of superior dessert cakes and cheesecakes. Turtle cheesecake is a gem. All the ckaes are light and fluffy and the fruit fillings appropriately intense. Could not be confused with supermarket cakes. Try tres leches and strawberry shortcake. Service is friendly and chatty. I enjoy visiting this place.

  • John Meade

I was off today and was just wondering around downtown. My friends and I came in… no one acknowledged us. We just walked around looking. The main lady was very rude and did not care. My friend ended up ordering a lot of things from her but she was very rude to him. The desserts were fine but I won’t ever go back.

  • Lawrencia L

This place is super cute and has a ton of options. I also like that they had an outdoor seating. The options ranged from candy, to brownies and of course ice cream. The line moves really quickly as well. Everything here looked delicious and the presentation was really nice. Yummy delicious treats! I will be back.

  • Allison Armstrong

The bright florescent lighting and blaring country music makes the atmosphere feel like I am in a Walgreens. The atmosphere is NOT conducive to $40 a pound chocolate. The lights should be dim, like a coffee shop instead of bright florescent like a drugstore.

Hey so this place is really good gelato, cheesecake, pie, pastries and cake for any and all occasions. The owner is just a class act and his staff is always nice!! I highly recommend to anyone looking for some good, fun, sweet stuff in West End / Downtown Dallas. Also they deliver on Uber Eats . Pretty kewl.

  • Robert Stites

The place appeared to be very clean and there was a large selection of sugary treats. It's expensive and the items we purchased were okay, but not great. A heads up, this confections shop does not have a restroom available for customers - so no place to wash your hands or to releave your self.

  • Jillian Jiggs

ONE gentleman was working here with a line of 25+ people and literally knocked it out in under 15 minutes with a polite and friendly attitude. Super competent and delicious! Did I mention the AMAZING smell of fresh-baked waffle cones when you walk in? Get the pistachio almond ice cream!

  • Brandyce Roberts

Cute little place. They have a lot of sweets. Chocolate, ice cream, cakes, hard candy. The rock candy and chocolate were pretty good. This place is VERY expensive. I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back because the prices are so high.

  • Elizabeth Kirwan

Fun little spot. Gelato, chocolates and candy! They have some old school candy that bring back memories. Not a big fan of serve yourself these days, but most of the candy is wrapped. The chocolates looked good, but they were also sitting out in the open, so we passed on those.

  • minorka2

I was initially impressed with the cake I bought but second order had a piece of staple metal in my cake. Not cool. Luckily I saw it before I had the chance swallow it. How the heck did piece of metal from a stapler end up in my slice of cake?? You guys need to be careful.

  • Chris Foster

Absolutely delicious housemade desserts and chocolates! The Dulce Cheesecake is WONDERFUL! The owner Adonis is great to converse with and super passionate about his business and customers, I cannot wait to come back and try more of his astounding confections!

  • Tee Bee

Friendly staff, the brownies are so good, wasn't to excited about the carrot cake cheesecake. Prices are a little on the high side but seeing the old skool candy was fun..I would definitely go back and try a different cheesecake and the icecream..

  • David Inguanzo

Easily the best ice cream I've ever had. I got the chocolate peanut butter and every single bite was the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter. On top of that, the waffle cones had to have been hand made, they were very unique.

  • Lynnette Boykin

I ordered a slice of Vanilla Butter Cream cake tjis past Sunday and unfortunately it was horrible. It was waxy. I have never had a cake whose texture was that of wax with no taste. I was very disappointed as this is normally not the case.

  • Kesha Jones

I took my son. We both enjoyed our visit from picking out different candy. They even had some "Throwback" candy that I use to eat as a kid. I love the smell coming from what was baking. Go check them out and don't forget the kiddos

  • Lucas Capone

Great quality and effort put into all of the desserts, and a pleasure meeting Adonis, who gave us excellent attention and information on all the pastries. Awesome location to check out if you're in the mood for some unique sweets.

  • shay Anderson

Absolutely terrible cakes. We had a couple different kinds of cakes and they ALL looked and tasted exactly the same. They were nothing but white cake with frosting. They are charging $10 per slice and it’s worth $1.06 a slice.

  • Ellie Cruz

I always purchase sour belts from here, as I’ve found that they have all of my favorite flavors. The staff is wonderful and patient, they always bring a smile to my face. Or maybe that’s just the candy I’m about to devour.

  • Jon Pounds

Ordered 3 slices of cake. Oreo was decent. Took one bite of the red velvet and confetti cake and had to legitimately spit them out. Inedible. Tasted like plastic mixed with week old cake mixed with old refrigerator smell.

  • Leilani R

I took a risk and ordered from the store on DoorDash. They sent me a cheesecake that was completely burnt on the top and bottom, and also under cooked in the middle. It was so disgusting. Never ordered from this place.

  • Queen

I ordered the powdered sugar brownie, red velvet cake, some chocolate bites, ice cream and the carrot cake. EVERYTHING was delicious. You can't go wrong with anything in here! Oh and customer service was top notch.

  • Isaac Romero

Kokopelli has become a tradition every time I come home to Dallas! I normally stay for a week and we always go at least once a day! The white mochas are the best! It doesn’t get much better than Kokopelli Sweets!

  • lupita H.

I tried this place twice, not impressed. I was hoping by trying different things it would change my mind but no. Cheesecake factory cheesecake are way better than these and are far less than what they charge.

  • PsychoSmart

Great out of the way gem, while still being close to down town. Half a mile from the Omni. Quick walk and all the tasty things you could want. Fun thing to do with kids or as an after dinner treat.

  • Lilian Wang

We walked over after visiting the Dallas World Aquarium and were blown away with the variety of chocolates, gelato and cakes. The chocolate gelato wasn't too sweet with lots of chocolate flavor.

  • Addie Hudnall

Tried multiple gelato flavors and the chocolate turtle and toffee. Enjoyed the gelato and candy selections more than the chocolatey confections. Owner/staff was very friendly amd welcoming.

This shop is fabulous!!! The chocolate and gelato were both delectable, and the owner, Adonis, was sweet, inviting, and extremely warm! Check this place out if you get the chance.

  • KS Burt

We stopped in had a snack enjoyed the service and the explanation of Gelato vs Ice cream. Worth the stop. Great place to visit if you are out sight seeing for the day.

  • Everth Alv

the lady who work here is rude ! she has not respect for costumer, If you want something sweet go elsewhere... the cakes taste like if they pick it up from a dumpster.

  • Jess

Such a rip off for the price and the quality of the food. I ordered peach cobbler that was $15 and it arrived completely frozen solid and nothing like the picture.

Great sweets. Waaay overpriced. I can appreciate the handcraft but the cost took the wind out of my sails. We rode the train from FTW especially to go there.
