Car wash
"I am happy with the shopping here as it is local for our family HOWEVER it is very hard to get in touch with management as they rarely answer the phone! I have been trying to contact them re an ALDI shopping trolley full of rubbish dumped outside my house with no luck, even though I went there at 9am to find an out of office sign on the door, left a message on their machine and spoke to the security guard on the after hours number"
"Just Ok"
"Would give 0 stars if I could"
"The Car Wash staff have been swapping out the trolleys in the trolley return bays with the smaller trolleys to prevent Woolworths customers from correctly returning their larger style shopping trolleys to obtain a gold coin refund"
"Brought my car for wash today , there was a guy , he said he'll finish the wash within 1 and half hours and said its $55 for suv two wheller ,i said that's fine and when i return after the time he said tomcomeback "
I am happy with the shopping here as it is local for our family HOWEVER it is very hard to get in touch with management as they rarely answer the phone! I have been trying to contact them re an ALDI shopping trolley full of rubbish dumped outside my house with no luck, even though I went there at 9am to find an out of office sign on the door, left a message on their machine and spoke to the security guard on the after hours number. And another thing, I have nothing against the band QUEEN but WHY WHY WHY must they blast the same Queen songs day and night through the town centre speakers I have spoken to several shop keepers who are sick to death of it and they have said many customers complain about it also. In particular somebody in management seems to want to tell us he/she is single, as the words "Can anybody find me...somebody to love???" are belted out over and over again. PLEASE respond!!!
Just Ok. Let me explain. The Standard $32 car wash will take about 10 minutes for them to complete. During this time they will quickly wash your car and wheels. However, they will NOT: - pay attention to detail to any dirty features e.g. bird poop (will just get wiped over, and most of it usually remains) - dont expect them to pay attention to your paint. They reuse their towels (hopefully they will wash them, but i see towels on the floor etc...) So after the wash although your car will generally look "shiny" - due to the high gloss car wash product, but it will still be "dirty" - i ran my fingers over the car after it was done and it still picked up dust. Therefore, would believe that this is NOT good for your paint as they are drying your car rubbing dust across your paint.
Would give 0 stars if I could. I bought a Groupon for an express wash - i showed the attendant who told me to remain in my car and he would quickly wash it and it would take only 5 minutes. I told him it included a dry, tire shine etc... and it surely wouldnt take 5 minutes. Plus i wanted to leave my car and go do some shopping. He told me I needed to stay in my car so he could give it a quick wash. I wasn't bothered to argue so I did so. He then BANGS on my window yelling me to move the car... i asked him to where and he just says MOVE IT. Needless to say it was the worst car wash experience i've ever had... thank god i didn't pay full price as the wash was dismal. Shocking service - if you don't want to do your job then quit don't give a paying customer attitude.
The Car Wash staff have been swapping out the trolleys in the trolley return bays with the smaller trolleys to prevent Woolworths customers from correctly returning their larger style shopping trolleys to obtain a gold coin refund. This often means many shoppers are forced to abandon their shopping trolleys and foregoing their gold coin trolley deposit. The car wash staff then "return" the abandoned trolley with a large trolley they have in their compound, netting them more money per hour than they make "washing" cars. No wonder many of the reviews for the Car Wash have suddenly gone from 5 stars to 1 star. The Car Wash employees are more concerned about running their little trolley scam, than they are about servicing their Car Wash customers.
Brought my car for wash today , there was a guy , he said he'll finish the wash within 1 and half hours and said its $55 for suv two wheller ,i said that's fine and when i return after the time he said tomcomeback .The car wasn't even started to wash ,waited 40 minutes more , he finished the wash and gave me the key but there were all rubbish inside ,as i said the car is still dirty he replied we wont clean ,i said if you dont clean why you charge money , at last i have to clean myself and even charge 5$ more to me.. at first he said $55 but charged $60.... worst service ever , such a lazy guy , if you dont want to work stay home , dont waste others money and time . ✖️BAD SERVICE✖️
The guy determined for me the service that was required for my car, by just looking at it. He said I needed to pay for their top High End Polish service to clean my car, and wouldnt let me choose the service that I wanted. I would've been happy to pay for the Platinum service, however he kept pushing me to go the Polish, otherwise he wouldnt wash/clean my car. I asked him the price of the Polish service, and what he said was actually more than the advertised price on the board. So I left and went to another car wash down the road on Princes Hwy - which I paid half the price, and was very very happy with their service.
Everything you need in one place. Woolworths, Aldi, tobacconist, sushi, hair and nails, cafe, seafood, pharmacy, bakers delight, delicatessen, phone repair, pop up stands...shall I go on? If you are a local this has got to be your "go to" destination. Parking is cheap and easy. $1 rooftop parking for a couple of hours - I always am able to get everything I need done within that time so never have to pay more. I would suggest paying for parking, as dragging all that shopping around the minimal street parking around Kogarah is a hassle. Just use the $1 from your trolley to pay your parking ticket. You won't miss it ;)
Its a nice compact center right next to kogarah train station. There are some decent food options around and a few fast food places like orportos and a subway not far outside the center. There is a medical center , woolies , deli and some other random shops. The good thing is that the center is directly conneted to the train station. You also have the option of $1 parking on the roof if you struggle to find parking on the street if you drive here. The entrance to the rooftop carpark can be hard to find but its right next to the Post office. Look for a big ramp going up!
Good variety. shopping wise but you have to pay for parking not happy at All you going to spend enough money inside the sopping anyway and on top of that you have to pay for parking??? because is not free... It should be free for 2hours as long as you buy anything there as any other shopping centre. And the toilets are terrible with yellow urine stains the cleaner does nothing there and management I think they don't even care toilets should not be like that, I'm so disappointed with this shopping centre where customer deserve only the best for the har earn cash!!!!
Didn’t like the service guy arbitrarily telling me the cost of service looking at my car. There was only one car before me which was already half way through and he asked me to come after 1 hour. Came after 1 hour and still not finished. Interior was not done well. Later when I came home, I realised that they broke my toll tag bracket. Didn’t bother to call them as I could easily get another one for free. But they should’ve told me earlier.
If you wanna get your car washed this is the place to visit, they do a really good job and it's not that expensive than other places you can relax and have a coffee while they do a amazing job, the car is washed and vacuumed to your need and I bet you will come to this place more often to get your a car washed and looking good this place they do a excellent job and you will thank me for this review, try it out you won't be disappointed.
Kogarah town centre is as your suburban shopping centre goes, quite reasonable. Is well serviced by Woolworths, Aldi, pharmacy, and a medical center easily accessible from the Kogarah railway station concourse. But sadly is lacking in the fine eating department, with no ladies or gents clothing locally. But is well represented by St George private and public hospitals, fire station, and St George Local Area Command Police Station.
A convenient shopping mall located in Kogarah, built around the Kogarah railway station entrance. Very handy for commuters wanting to buy grocery items on way home. You exit the station and you have Woolworths, Aldi, BWS, Kogarah Quality Meats and much more just a few steps away. There's also coffee shops and very nice patisserie. This is just a short walk from both St George Private and Public hospitals which is also very handy.
I enjoy shopping at Kogarah town centre as I have the convenience of shopping at ALDI as well as meeting my friends and dining at a Nepalese restaurant where the meals are cheap and the quality is good all within a minutes walk from the railway station. I cannot ask for more than that. Also there is a great cafe at the top of the station stairway great coffee and great food and not expensive.
Writing in behalf of my dad, he took his car there for a detail clean on the 2nd of June. Attendants were friendly and accommodating. They did a fantastic job on the detail clean, the car almost looked brand new. Worth the price in my opinion. Although there's a slight issue about the parking. There should be a validation offer of some sort. Other than that. I highly recommend their services
Very congested. Hate the parking. Had to pay for the meter not only that because it was raining... I had roll my window down and the machine is so slow... you need to pay as you leave.... and my right side was drenched.... never again am I going there. It's a useless place to be... everything else conveniently located in great areas.
this town centre has reaked of raw sewage for months.. its infiltrating the station down stairs, it causes the woolworths and bws to stink, particularly the front end during the evening when ppl are getting off the train. surely its becoming a public health situation.. yet it seems like nothing is being done about it
This little shopping hub is very active during the week day. Supermarket, hairdressers, butchers, florist, phone shop, cake shop, chemist, travel agency, clothing shop, delicatessen, bakery, chicken shop, coffee shop, fish shop, tobacconist, bottle shop, lifts to lower ground and train station.
Park on the roof but be prepared to pay a dollar for 1 hour. The centre has an Aldi, woolies and Christopher's cake shop as well as a good deli and various food places. The nail salon does great powder coated nails and the coffee shop has $3 medium coffees week days before 9am
The judgemental idiot in black hassles my girlfriend treating her like a crim. Even telling her to leave. She's not a thief, and doesn't bother customers. She's heavily tattooed. She's coloured, he's black. Difference. She (we) don't care about his colour. Kogarah u really suck.
Harish asked me to leave a review - I'm very unimpressed. On the phone I was told an interior detailing would last 1h30, when I dropped it off they said 3 hours. They gave it back 50 minutes late, but the seats and mats were all still wet. Very bad service. Go somewhere else.
I went to this car wash and they left all the seats in the car wet and thats it i will not be coming from now on trust me everyone wasb my ride is way better good customer service and lower prices they also do a better job and the cafe is very relaxing at washmy ride
I do not recommend this car wash (Star Car Wash Kogarah) ... I washed my car here and paid $60 for an SUV. I took back the car with unclean windows and full of dust and dirt inside. Very dissatisfied with their services and for this reason I intend to sue them!
The inside of my car was absolutely trashed due to doing deliveries and eating inside my car. They cleaned it immaculately and unlike other car cleaning services did not leave weird residue or ruin the wax on the outside of the car. Will definitely come again.
Really friendly staff on my car wash and they did a great job on the car. Add to that the gentleman found my gold ring i’ve been missing for months, i’m a happy customer. Proof in itself they are honest reliable staff members. Really happy. Nice job guys!
Website says open till 5:30, sign on the window says open, I arrived at 4:50 and was waved away by the attendant who said they were closed. I had to pay to enter the car park to go to this car wash, to be told they'd closed 40 minutes early
Groupon $12 express wash not worth it. Machine wash is far better for the same cost. In addition, there is a $2 parking fee to pay as carwash in rooftop carpark. Doesn’t validate parking ticket. So definitely not coming back anymore.
There's a big Woolworths inside and couple of decent cafes and restaurants but nothing extraordinary. Coffee club does good coffee and is a nice place to hangout and the fried rice from Mirchi, particularly the lamb one is fantastic.
Charged $1 for half hr parking on a Sunday in a centre with no alternative parking and home to 2 supermarkets. There are enough supermarkets that provide free parking, (for several hours for patrons), I'll be giving it a wide berth.
First time customer for a wash and it did not dissapoint. The employee, Jobar, not only he was friendly but also went above and beyond looking after my car. Will definitely come back in the near future. Keep up the good job.
i love this place how its so close to the station!!! and it is renovated so you should definitely check out the coffee club! it has trivia on wednesday nights and the woolies is so convenient as well. and i love the oportos!
Over the last few years this relatively small local shopping centre has improved a massively with the refit going a long way into improving the existing complex, inside and out. It's mainly, but not exclusively food retail.
Honest staff and great customer service lost my $100 note in my car like ages ago when I picked up my car staff member handed me my money back couldn’t believe love this place. Great service guys would always recommend you.
NO STARS ITS HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IF YOU LOOSE YOUR PARKING TICKET AND HAVE ONLY BEEN THERE 10 min THEY CHARGE $4.00 to get out of the car park!! biggest rip ever and dosnt have good shop never go there again
Good place to get all your shopping needs done, if you are a local. Nothing too fancy, but just has about everything to get under one roof - with woolworths, Aldi, a meat market and train station under one roof.
Not worth it for a 4x4. Took the car in today and was a semi decent job, but still had dirt on tyres and above the tyres/wheel well - when I told them they said they don’t clean there. For $60 not worth it.
Small shopping area but everything you need. Great butcher and greengrocers. Aldi and Woolworths are there. Parking can be bad sometimes so best to pay in the car park above the shopping centre
Good stop to do your shopping. The train station is below the shopping centre. Good for people who need to use public transport. They charge for parking even if you park less than half hour.
First time in Kogarah, place looks nice and friendly, the best surprise was to find free WiFi also mobile repair specialist are more reasonable then in CBD. The only thing I miss is Coles...
Small but a lot of shops. Very busy on Thursdays. And being the part of Kogarah train station is also a busy thing as well. Both Aldi and Woolworths are small store but very full with items.
There's a big Woolworths and Aldi for groceries. Baker's Delight has a presence here too. I like Terry's Chemist shop for their offers. A few eateries that I've never tried but look decent.
There is Woolworths, Aldi and few cafes and butcher shop so you can do your grocery shopping here on your way to home from train station. And there is also few cafes and other shops too.
Decent service at a decent price. Recently opted for premium wash for my sedan. Definitely would recommend this to everyone. Timely service, friendly staff and value for money.
Just along the Kogarah Station, it has a good ramp, multiple lifts, Aldi and Woolworth for groceries, pharmaceuticals, restaurants.. So almost everything for daily needs
Small variety of stores, less food options than in Hurstville Central but boasts two supermarkets and better views. Highly accessible to the integrated railway station.
An exterior details service I requested for, the gentleman has done a grate job in understanding my car and his cleaning exceeded my expectation! Highly recommended!
You pay $1 for 1.5 hr parking while you are shopping there. $4 for more than 1.5 hr stay otherwise you out and in and pay $1 for another 1.5 hr shopping there.
They upgraded the parking ticket machines ! So much less stressful than the old ones which were always stuffing up! Much more pleasant experience shopping now.
Woolworths and Aldi in one centre. Convenant if your catching the train . Bad for parking easy access with its lifts and also good places to eat on main rd .
Tried different car wash shops in Sydney but this one is different, friendly people, excellence care and wash... I definitely recommend them.. Thumbs up guys
Medical,Cafe.Groceries and News stands,if thats what you are looking for.Wollies is not so big,but only option in Kogarah as ALDI never plans to go big.
Convenient for bus or train. Shopping centre has a Woolworths and Aldi. There is a fruit market, butcher, bakery, chemist, newsagent and eateries/cafes.
This is the place where i live. I can find easy access to each and everything in this place like retail shop, restaurants, hospital, schools etc.
Not a lot of shops, but good enough for the Kogarah community. Much better after the renovation. Hopefully more shops could open in the future.
jalvinder Singh done excellent detailing job. I'll recommend to my friend as happy customer. I've done this detailing after 5 years! Beauty!
Very small. Almost nothing is here except of a woolworths and aldi. I don't recommend this place especially during 8am-8:40am and 2:30-3:30.
Waste of time. Don’t fall for 5 star reviews. Went there today at around 3pm, its Wednesday and on body was there attending the business.
Located right in front of kogarah station. Woolworths and oporto available. Few other eateries available. Good for daily quick shopping.
This little shopping complex has plenty to offer & if you can't find what you need there are many more shops with in walking distance
It's big, with aldi, chemist and other shops inside. It'd be great if they allowed at least a minimum time frame for free parking.
Great value. The speedy, $20 job was a very good wash. Certainly great value from friendly staff in a very convenient position.
Very limited number of shops. Bare essentials really: a pharmacy, a grocery store, a new agency, some small shops and a bakery.
Carpark is a nightmare with boom gate ooerating only when it feels like it. But shops are great. Small and Personal atmosphere.
Convenient location, train, bus, supermarket, medical centre, post, other retailers, wish they can expend more and bigger haha
It's a nice town center with some Asian variety stores, small cafes, chain restaurants and train station with free parking.
Don’t even try your luck, I am stupid enough when people already said that no one attended and the business hour is wrong.
I was here Friday 27/1/23, 14.00. No one was there. While it says ‘open’ in Google. I Just wasted parking fee & time :)
It's a little local shopping centre. Nothing fancy but handy stop off for supplies on the train trip home from work.
I like this place If you have a look around You will find some good shop's and good food And a couple of good pub's
Great shops, great food, nice people ,great service, carpark free for first two hours only, great transportation
Suburban shopping plaza, not quite a centre. Has Woolies, BWS, ALDI and Christopher's Cake store as highlights.
Perfect for small town but would be best if the range of shops(clothing, mobile phones JB Hifi) are expanded.
Nice shopping centre, has everything you need with a big Woolworths here aswell as everything else needed
Easy parking good business for the shopping. Bakers delight and Japanese take away are particularly good.
Limited shops, parking can be difficult. The Woolworth there can be lacking in variety. There is an Aldi.
Hours wrong. Not open to 6pm Sunday. Wasted a lot of time to get there to find it closed and unattended.
Needs a revamp, however Woolworths and Aldi are here. Lots of parking available. Train station here too
Nice place for a coffee, buy grocery and few nice eat out joints and pubs that are open till late
It's a town centre. It has usual shops, and the people only bump into you on Sundays. Decent.
A good variety of shops here. Parking is available. Railway station and bus services nearby.
Good shopping but parking in the street could be difficult unless you go to the carpark.
Very convenient next to train station a goid range in good court has a nice Nepal lunch.
Good local shopping centre with Woolworths. Has a great cake shop and a Baker's Delight.
Really friendly team and exceptionally good work on my car. Also great value for money.
Good plase for shopping. Small but you can find all item what you need.
Good for car wash service, cars come out new and polished.
Full car wash using hand and satisfying service
superb response and quick as well
Easy and no waiting
