What an awful human Tom is to deal with. He had my car for a few months on commission. I decided to get it back and sell privately as he had no interest at his ridiculous price. After getting my car back I asked if I could have my genuine Toyota cargo mat and dash mat back. He told Me that he had no idea what I was talking about and that they weren’t even in there to begin with. In the next phone call he tells me “oh, they sat here for ages, I don’t know where they went”. He refused to reimburse me for the mats and said I could take the ones out of another car he was getting “in a few months” or go up the road and buy some more! The whole experience of dealing with Tom was unpleasant and I would NOT recommend dealing with this car yard at all. He was clearly bullied in school and now has to make himself feel superior by ripping off decent people.

Needed a car short notice so ended up at kings, found a car in price range, gave me a service book that was up to date (everything seemed sound, ran nice, etc). Took it to a garage to get checked and only a couple fixable things came up (they also said it was okay to drive so that was not necessarily on Kings). Barely 2 months after having the car, the gearbox transfer case had a giant hole in the side. Car completely broke down. I called back to see if there was anything to do and he blew me off immediately. I fixed the car, went back to see if they would take it back (as I was also leaving Tasmania) and he made excuses about them not having the funds and it’s not what they’re looking for, etc. It ended up being a very scummy business situation. Also when I sold the car I found out there were illegal modifications on it that I had no idea about.

Do not trust Tom the dodgy sales man what so ever! I did a contract to purchase a car at an agreed price with Tom, I then paid for an inspection for the car which it just passed, he then went and sold it to some another person who offered a higher amount, Tom is the lowest of the low for doing this to a customer, I am now out of pocket because of the inspection contracts mean nothing to Tom! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! Oh and lied for a few days saying he was ill and not in the office when trying to make full payment on the car.

Friendly sale but a complete rip off. Bought a car from here which one week later turned out to be a complete dud, with $10,000+ of things to fix. I got a refund under consumer guarantees, which I was very happy about. But these things should have been disclosed before sale. Later saw the same car up for sale 2 days after I brought it back, selling for $1000 more... good luck to it's next buyer...

Bought a Jeep Patriot rego K57BQ! Took it back 3 times. They switched the engine light off twice. Major engine issues. Be sure to check this before you buy it. He wouldn’t refund me. Charged me an extra $4.500 to swap for another car that we would not accept back after one day. The car didn’t suit my needs.

I can’t fault Tom, I bought a car from him that presented a common problem with modern diesels. Tom paid for the issue to be resolved and lent me a car so that I had transport. The car he lent was faultless also. One very happy customer …

Brought a car , and just over 24 hours it broke down. The guy over the phone, acted as if I never brought a car off him. Next day he offered too look at the car after I paid for a tow. Fixed the car a week later.

Never deal with him....he lied to us and never kept his promises. Very costly and he does not live up to his company's customer statement..very poor service.

Fantastic experience this morning. Honest, friendly and well priced. Best that we have dealt with. Will be back when we are looking to purchase another car.
