If you are looking for a good dentist around Kangaroo Point/Woolloongabba area, look no further... Prior to walking through the doors of Kangaroo Point Dental a month ago, I had an emergency wisdom tooth extraction somewhere on the north side of Brisbane about 5 years ago. And prior to that, all of my dental work had been done in the US (where I was born and raised). All of my visits to the dentist had one thing in common: they were borderline traumatic, and this made me an avid avoider of the dentist for many years. Other than the emergency wisdom tooth extraction I had 5 years ago, I had not properly been to the dentist in a decade and was super nervous when I came to my initial consult/full check-up with Doctor Nicole. Although she was lovely and really took the time to explain the necessary dental work, I was still skeptical because of past experiences. I was also nervous when I was informed I would be transferred to another dentist in the practice when Doctor Nicole needed to go on leave. However, a much-needed clean and 4 fillings later with Doctor Zen (2 of which were massive), I will not go anywhere else. The team at Kangaroo Point Dental took special care of me and I cannot recommend them enough. I felt as though I was dealing with honest assistants/staff and doctors who truly care about their patients, who want to ensure that each experience is as positive and as comfortable as possible. I never felt rushed and sensed that Doctor Zen was extra gentle because he knew I was so nervous. He made sure to keep reassuring me, letting me know what he was doing throughout the procedures, and gave me breaks as needed. Doctor Nicole, although she didn’t do my fillings, took the time to thoroughly address all of my concerns - and nerves! I appreciated that she was honest and upfront about everything, which helped set my expectations so that I wouldn’t be in for any surprises later. Both parties were extremely caring and professional. Thank you so much for everything, team! You guys have restructured a part of my world that used to be so scary and it means more than you will ever know. :)

Dr Grace Sha and her assistant Tiffany are a fantastic team and I'm very glad I found them as my new regular dentist. Dr Grace is very thorough, gentle and explains everything I need to know about my oral health clearly supported by the use of photos and xrays as well. I found her explanations of how to clean my teeth and how to care for my general oral health very informative and helpful. It was great to see a positive team dynamic between Dr Grace and her staff, and their entertaining conversations made the whole dental appointment more fun and enjoyable (even though I normally do not like seeing dentists). Thank you Kangaroo Point Dental.

10 stars, hands down the best experience I've ever had with my very long dental journey. Dr. Nicole and the team have taken me from being an absolute nervous wreck ashamed of my dental situation to being excited at my upcoming appointment to touch base, move forward and being proud to smile! I can't recommend them highly enough. The dental chair is now my safe space. Thanks to the whole team for their care, incredible patience, kindness and terrific skills. Don't put it off any longer!

Wanted to try a dental practice in this area after previous dentist, who I still travelled to after we moved here, has now retired. Very pleased with first visit for overdue check-up and clean. Dr Zen and staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. Their spaces are also professional and stylish, and their processes seemed smooth and efficient. I'm happy I have got around to making the move, and to have chosen Kangaroo Point Dental. Booked in again for 6mths from now.

I recommend coming to this dental practice. Dr Nicole helped me overcome my gum disease and beautifully fixed up my molar which needed a crown. She’s been great at explaining everything to me along the way, I was clear on what was wrong, what needed to happen, what I needed to do and what the costs were going to be. Dr Nicole has offered me the support I needed and I would recommend coming to see her with any teeth problems you may have. I look forward to my visits here

Kangaroo Point Dental is an easy recommendation. I avoided going to the dentist for quite some time as I'd had a few visits elsewhere that weren't so great. My visits here have been very comfortable and educational around maintaining my oral health and preventing further issues from arising. There were no surprises or unnecessary work done, it was all very clear each visit. If you hate visiting the dentist, give this place a try!

Easy to book online, instant confirmation and great follow up from reception. ❤️ Dr Zen didn’t race through a consult like a checklist, that was my first impression! I usually feel like there’s a ‘procedure’ at the dentist and the time limit. He took excellent photos (if you can call tooth decay photos excellent) to show and carefully explain what my treatment plan should look like and most importantly why!!

I had a wonderful experience today with Dr. Grace and her assistant. She made sure I am comfortable while doing the procedure. She's nice and She' explain well the things I need to know and even help me watch my 5 year old son who was with me from time to time. She also give me a quotation, to give me a heads up of what I am paying because I don't have insurance. Very good service. Recommended.

I'm writing this for my Dad who visited Kangaroo Point Dental recently (in fact we have all seen Dr. Grace Sha as a family for years before she started at this clinic recently). Both Grace and her assistant were exceptional - they took great care in the examination, explanation, and devising a treatment plan for him. Couldn't be happier with everything!!! 5/5 for sure!!

Attended this practice for the first time after moving to the area last year. Dr Zen and team are friendly, polite and thorough. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible and I now feel that my teeth/mouth are in very safe hands. The suite is stylish, and I enjoyed listening to jazz piano during the appointment. Booked in for my check up in 6 months.

Zen D”Souza was very thorough with his initial consult. He uses all the latest technology to get a very comprehensive picture of your dental health. I was particularly impressed with the 3D camera which means that you don’t need to have that awful gunk in your mouth when you need a splint or mouth guard made. Highly recommended.

So pleased I found Dr Grace! She is extremely professional and knowledgeable and made sure that I understood exactly what she was doing. I did not feel like I was being ripped off. All the staff are so lovely and you can tell they take pride in what they do, which makes for a very comfortable and enjoyable experience!

Love the practice. I am one of those people that are not a big fan of going to the dentist, however Kangaroo Point Dential makes me feel at home with every appointment. The staff are amazing and truly do everything to make you feel comfortable.

I had a filling with dr Yuen and Summer, they were both great. Dr Yuen was incredibly informative which made the process much more comfortable. They were great during the procedure, easily the most comfortable I've felt in the dentists chair!

Saw Dr Nicole on monday for an emergency, while removing the pain she has taken the time to provide a lot of information into why this has occurred and ways to protect my teeth in the future. Thank you and will be seeing you again soon.
