Unfortunately we did not have a great dining experience when we visited. If the experience could be defined only by the wonderful lady who greeted us and took great attention throughout, we’d have had a wonderful meal. As it happens, she’s the only reason we can give a couple of stars. The chicken souvlaki we ordered was over cooked and dry, not flavourful and consisted of some pretty poor cuts of meat. The worst I’ve had by quite a distance. Having had many of these dishes, including in Greece itself, I feel fairly safe in saying it needs improving. The zucchini was pretty oily and we didn’t like it. The pita bread was quite nice and the potatoes were OK. For a simple table for two, it was also a bit strange that the stuff we ordered couldn’t come at the same time. As a local I really want to get behind these types of family places so let’s hope we can see an uptick in quality.

I was pleased to find a restaurant that was open in early January. My son was very keen to try Greek food and he is very happy that we chose "Kafe Meze at Gracieville". We thoroughly enjoyed the Garlic and Plain Pita Bread, the Grilled Calamari,the Lamb and Chicken Souvlaki and for the fussy eater, the hot Chips got a thumbs up. The lady who served us was very nice and cordial. A nice pleasant kid friendly affordable restaurant. Would come back, for sure.

The atmosphere was great and the staff were very helpful. I booked a table for two and we had our choice of sitting inside or outside so we chose outside. The special that was on for the night was great and was plenty of food and was quite delicious. Just for something different we ordered a serving of pastourma (spiced paprika sausage), which was a total let down which was unfortunate (this is the reason for the 3 stars, other wise I would give 4-5) Overall for a small place in the suburbs the greek food was ok, not the best in brisbane but not the worst either by a long shot. Will go back and try again one day

We came on a Sunday afternoon and had a totally enjoyable experience. All 5 of us were very much impressed with the various meals. The service was so friendly and kind. We will certainly come back. One suggestion (or two): please play some nice soft Greek music to create more ambience. Soft so that people can talk without straining (yes, I am hard of hearing :-) ). Also; just add a little warmth to the already very nice decor. But really, well done! I forgot to take a photo, my photo is of three of us going for a walk afterwards to aid the digestion :-), but the presentation of the food was very good too.

Quaint environment and we were seated promptly. Drinks ordered but took some time to arrive. The meat in all the dishes was overcooked and could not easily eat the calamari. The sides were okay but overall it was an overpriced and underwhelming experience, will not be back. * Have tried to reply to owners feedback. Appreciate they want to understand where we had concerns. However seems by previous reviews they ask after the fact. Maybe have someone approach us during the meal or when settling the bill. Seems incencere to wait for the negative review to ask what went wrong ‍♀️

We have wanted to try this place for ages. Another great find! Staff are friendly and on the ball. The food was amazing. Don't have a single complaint. If your looking for something new and like Greek style food then you have to try this cute little place.

We visited this place due to the great reviews it has.We had three main dishes which were served reasonably quickly.They were all quite tasty and good sizes but the octopus was quite tough .We then ordered three desserts which we very nice also.I also ordered a red wine when we ordered the desserts but that never arrived and unfortunately the waitress made some poor excuse as to why it never showed up.I would like to try this place again.

The best Greek restaurant in a Brisbane. If you want classic flavourful Greek Meze dishes this is the place to go. Forget all those other fancy Greek restaurants that are pretentious. The menu items here are true Greek classics that will make you feel like you’re on a Greek island taverna! The chef does a great job and the service staff is the best!

Wow great food and presentation. We ordered the meat plate for two and the baklava through Uber eats and was so surprised to see how amazing the food still looked. To be honest, I just expected to be given a few takeaway containers or something. Flavour and seasoning was all there and everything was cooked superbly. Best Greek food and baklava I’ve had so far. Looking forward to my next visit here.

Had a $96 meat platter between two and just managed to finish it :) Well presented and plenty for two adults. The only downside would be the 'oily' and overcooked chips, but otherwise good table service - granted we were there on a weekday lunch so it wasn't too busy but there were others sitting outside with us. Highly recommend :)

Such a lovely, family run, authentic Greek restaurant. My husband and I go there at least twice a month. The owner and staff are so warm and friendly. They know our order the moment they see us. The meat is always tender, well seasoned and they're so flexible with customizations. The portions are very generous. Highly recommend!

As a local I been here several times and love it. Was there again last night with my 2 kids who are 12 and 13 and they love it too. My son and I shared a meze plate and my daughter had a wrap and she ate some of the pita bread, haloumi from our share plate too. Heaps for food :) Can highly recommend

Terrific food and not badly priced. Service is friendly but clearly swamped by the sheer number of people. I've gone with five stars based upon our terrific experience, but it could so easily have gone south... strongly suggest adding additional serving staff before the complaints start racking up.

The food is tasty and fairly priced, but whatever time they say closing is subtract 1 hour from that if you want an order. Delivery closes even earlier, and they won't answer the phone. Edit* Another order arrived deliver cold and 2 person platter way smaller in quantity than previous orders

Lovely little restaurant (opened on a Sunday night too!) with friendly staff and delicious food. Hubby & I enjoyed a Meat Meze platter, iced chocolate, and a caramel milkshake. We couldn't fit in dessert, so took some home for later! ;)

What a great example of Greek food very delicious and good things that I tasted highly recommend it must try everything and make sure you have a Greek coffee too fantastic anyway must visit this place again very soon they have the best table service and they make you feel at home

Friendly waitress doing her best. As a Greek, the food was below average. Ordered a calamari salad which arrived in a small side bowl with shredded lettuce and a couple of olices and onion. Over priced for what I received and was not presented or flavoured authentically.

Love sharing the Mezze platters with friends, always fresh salad and a range of meats. Keep meaning to try other dishes but when you find something you like it is hard to go past it ‍♂️

It says something about a restaurant when you go so often you aren’t given menu’s anymore, they just bring out your order. Fresh, delicious, excellent value and always with a friendly smile. Great to see the aniseed lollies back too after a Covid hiatus.

Casual with great food and wine. We were 3 and we shared a seafood and meat platter whivh was more than adequate. Calamari melted in the mouth and the cuttlefish was lovely. We had left over for lunch the next day. Can't wait to go back.

It's a great place. Had great lunch there and I'd go back. It's a great location, food amazing, staff are nice and welcoming. The lamb wrap took me back to the Greek islands. Will return for sure and next time bring the family.

Well first of all good is great tasting! Secondly we ordered a meze meat platter for 3 and we were only served 2 lamb cutlets extra for $92 so we charged $50 for 2 cutlets, service and cuisine were 5 star …

I wish we could give 10 stars! The best Greek in Brisbane! The owners are so friendly! It is our go-to dinner for Friday night takeaway but also so nice to sit down and have a meal as well.

Food was incredible! Full of the flavours of Greece. Do not skip dessert, the Orange cake, baklava and Turkisk delight were all delicious. Yes, I ate three desserts.
