Reasonable price and cheap owners, easy parking but all kerala rice not always in stock. More than all make sure NEVER TAKE KIDS THERE. They don't like kids touching their display or even taking lollies in. My 7 year old (not a baby) had a lolly when we went for shopping there. They want him to sit outside (chairs are provided outside on a 37 degree day at 2 p.m) and finish it outside before entering the store. They said some kids two days before dropped a lolly in store and was hard to clean it. If you want to shop with your family, look for another place like me. Basically one staff will be following kids to make sure they basically don't touch the display. I will never recommend this place for shopping with your family.

Avoid this store if you can please. They are very rude to their customers including my family. They will shout at you and berate you for something simple as holding items in your hand and not there shopping basket. And mind you, this is even if you are willing to pay your hard earned money in return for old and inedible items that theyre selling. Instead of ensuring quality, the lady who owns the store will rudely shout at you in a horrible screeching voice because of something so trivial. My family will not be giving this store anymore visits that's for certain. The owners will humiliate you at some point that's for certain!

I would give this store a negative 5 star if i could. Extremely rude owners and very sarcastic. I have given this store 2 tries before and now I am done as they lied to my face about a product which was very much so available in the store. I was asking questions and the owner made me feel unwanted and wouldn't even look at me and continued doing what he was doing. Disgusting! I am never going to this place and I will ensure that none of my friends/family go here too. Plenty of better options in Brisbane. Try out Swades in Toowong. Small store but far larger respect and customer service.

Hi guys, today I went for shopping at this store as I was passing by. I bought an item for $3:75 and told the lady politely that it costs $3:15 at the other shop. Lady at the shop said, " why don't I buy this at the other shop". I replied her back to say that she has given me a very good idea. I'm so sorry to say to you lady that you lost a customer who wanted to spend $40 at your shop today. I miss Sami's shop. Very poor customer service and rude. I think its owners wife, she should understand Customer service better before opening this shop

The shop is well-stocked and has a good selection of spices. The owners have always been friendly and helpful. There is a comment of them being intolerant to kids: perhaps the fault lies with the parents who can't control their children. The owner has a sign asking parents to keep an eye on their children, and this would have not been necessary if they were well-behaved. After all, he is running a business and not a creche! I have been shopping there for years and Samy has always been good to my children.

Very rude owner/ staff. Had a very bad experience. The front desk man is very unprofessional and extremely rude. Initially, I rated with four stars regarding the quality of groceries..but the behavior of the owner made me not to shopping anymore. You are not allowed to touch any things unless you buy them/ you can't take your kids to this shop/ you have to spend a minimum of 10 minutes. Very poor customer service. There are plenty of options available in Brisbane to buy Indian and Sri Lankan groceries.

I have been going to this store for the last seven years. Honest and straight forward owners. Not only have the owners been friendly and considerate, but also been helpful in times of need. They always ask about my kids when I go to the store without my kids. They have also given me contacts of good local service providers when I was new to this country. If you do what you are not supposed to, they are stern and they have every right to be.

I would give a negative infinity if I could. Worst customer service ever!! Extremely arrogant and followed us yelling all the way to our car literally saying, I DON’T CARE FOR MY CUSTOMERS AS I AM HERE FOR A LONG TIME”. Will never ever visit again. I haven’t come across a more rude person ever in my life.

  • Lavan S

Very reasonable price compared to other Indian grocery shops in Brisbane. Groceries are nicely displayed at the shop and very easy to pick what we want. Very genuine couple running the business. But only negative thing is they don’t know how to behave with customers.

I had a shopping event in there, it's was the worst customer experience that i had in my entire life. The guy who run this shop so rude and mean to me. He was came around and disturbing me all the time while i was doing the shopping. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!!!

  • Nathan Campbell

Great little store and has everything Indian/Pakistani etc that you could probably ever need. I only found this shop accidentally one weekend driving the streets of Chelmer. Located in a residential area so you wouldn't expect it to be there. Thumbs up!

I have been shopping at KKN Spices since 2013.Till date I have never seen any outdated product. The store is very clean, always stocked up with a variety of products to give you an option to shop as per your budget. The isles are marked and

  • Budhikka Wijeyaratne

Really bad customer service. They think someone is trying to hack their prices so if you spent little more time in the shop, then owner's wife will starts to follow you to every corner until you reach the cashier. So insane …

  • Biju Paul

Small store with reasonable stock of products. Rude and unhelpful owners/staff. Unfriendly to kids. Would not return. Try some of the larger Indian stores for wider range of products. Samis on ipswich road is great.

  • Neeta Wilfred

Unprofessional and lazy front desk staff/ owners. Extremely intolerant towards children....ud think their aisles were stocked with high end crystal! Plenty of other options in Brisbane. Would definitely not return.

  • Simon Curran

A small little (all?) Indian supermarket. Very cheap with a massive selection of food and spices to add into meals. I love Indian food, this will be a great place to visit if you like cooking this cuisine as well.

  • Paul Varghese

Visited this shop yesterday for the first time and will definetely be my last. Very discourteous and not customer friendly at all. Someone ought to educate the keepers of this shop on how to deal with customers

  • Kailash Subramanian

It is a nice clean shop with bigger (South Asian Shops near me are smaller) room for display. Placed right in-between residential area. Location could be an issue if you mind walking a kilometer from bus stop.

  • Chiranjeevi Gudibanda

This place is by far the best Indian grocery shop I have been to in Brisbane. Well maintained and clean aisles. Has every variety of grocery I ever wanted. The Shop owner is friendly and is very helpful.

  • Pethigamage Lami Perera

The lady who works there (wife of the owner) very unhelpful and arrogant. We understand they may be busy, but being rude to customers was no excuse. We'll never go back to that shop again

  • Michael Fernandez

Massive range. Very tidy and clean. Surprised in the middle of residential area. Great little shop. No need to go elsewhere as it seems to have just about everything for indian cooking

  • Anto Chacko

Plenty of Indian products with reasonable price, well arranged. Also the good thing is, each and every product is marked with the price which we can't see in some other stores...

  • Asanthi Perera

Very bad customer service. The manager’s wife was very rude when I asked where I could find one of their products. Will definitely won’t return to this shop to buy anything.

  • Vijaya Kannan

The new management is quite friendly and approchable. The products are clean and fairly priced as usual. A great place to rely on to buy indian groceries and snacks.

  • carolle Lewis

Little gem in the suburbs. The shop is spotlessly clean and always well stocked. The owner obviously takes great pride in his shop. Plenty of street parking.

  • Kamalakkannan Jayaraman

Fantastic place to buy Indian groceries. One stop to buy all the Indian groceries. Clean environment and friendly staff. Quality products and good price.

  • Jean Seah

Excellent range of Indian and Sri Lankan food and drink for very affordable prices. Friendly and efficient staff. Parking available at the front.

  • Loganathan R

We've been shopping here for few years now. We like the pattu brand products, seems to be sold only here. Owners are very good. Highly recommend.
