This mall is always good to shop and catch a movie if you like. Stop in the library and get what you need. Plenty of stores that will be eager to help you with what you're looking for get something altered in more than one place to choose from and the food court is open to help you with your hunger cravings and don't forget the pharmacy will be able to get you what you need and the largest Grocery store with absolutely everything from everywhere making it impossible to leave empty handed. Banks restaurant's and the spot to go if you are looking for designer sunglasses or fill a prescription. Need a cell phone you won't be disappointed you'll just have a problem picking where to go next. On the way through get your haircut or nail's done you can do both. Underground parking and if you are tired and decided to stay overnight the problem solved get a room! Like it's really nice and clean public washroom and more than one coffee shop to get your fix. Love it

Shopping Centre in Hamilton’s Downtown Core with indoor connections to Convention Centre, Main Library Branch, Farmer’s Market (Open Daily, Indoors), and Sheraton Hotel and Restaurant. A former gem for Hamilton’s central neighbourhoods, the mall has gone substantially downhill. Virtually no high-end or even discount chain stores remain. Only Bluenotes and regional chain Anna Bella remain. Food court decent with multiple worldwide chains. Otherwise, can be very sketchy even during the day time. Many businesses closed with only office towers and new international farmers market remain open. Nations, a new market experience opened less than 10 years ago at the Bay Street Entrance to the mall. Very modern and well kept. Otherwise head to Lime Ridge Mall for a wide selection of your favourite retailers and Eastgate Square in the suburb of Stoney Creek for Budget and low-cost shopping.

Jackson Square Mall is a hidden gem in the heart of Hamilton. What makes this mall truly special is its diverse range of stores catering to every shopper's needs. From trendy boutiques to well-known brands, there's something for everyone. The mall's clean and inviting atmosphere, coupled with friendly staff, creates a pleasant shopping experience. The variety of dining options is impressive, offering a delightful break during your shopping spree. Additionally, the mall hosts community events and activities, making it a vibrant hub for both locals and visitors. I appreciate the mall's efforts to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for shoppers. If you're in Hamilton, Jackson Square Mall is a must-visit destination for a day of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Was able to get the item at Power Deals that I went there for. But the mall seems to be a hangout for crazy people. Safety precaution. Peculiar woman like thing in dark glasses and trench coat always shrieking and claimed someone following them when no one appeared to be etcetera.. I usually try to avoid this mall because of reasons like that. Always something untrustworthy about some patrons of this place. The food court is usually alright except this time when I purchased a meal in the food court from the Chinese food vendor the eggroll seemed to be very tough and stringy. The next morning I experienced diarrhea.

My friend and I came here and the lack of professionalism was absolutely insane. My friend didn’t want to know her weight and turned around on the scale, she let the clinicians know of this as well. The girl had problems doing her job, she was fairly new so had to get another clinician to help. He proceeded to SCREAM her weight across the clinic. Absolutely repulsive. They seemed scrambled, chaotic and unorganized. I normally don’t leave reviews like this but I was absolutely repulsed.

Very simple shopping center. Positives: Landmark cinema Food Nations TD bank Large parking Good book store The library Good fast grabs food including - Tim H., Fresh juice place, many fast food locations Nails for you Some good clothing shops Hilton Educational center Negatives: Expensive parking Busy Uncomfortable situations regularly happen like fights, and police are often invited to solve issues Some sketchy shops lol

Once you figure out the layout of this indoor hiway, you can get just about anything. Octopus, clothing, movie theatre, most basic services... are all here somewhere. The patrons are from all walks of life, so it tends to seem like an unfriendly area, but the staff in the stores are great (especially Ardennes). They've seen it all, so don't feel bad asking a question or two about what you're looking at or for directions.

Nations and landmark cinema are the only real highlights. It is unfortunate to see empty commercial real estate across the mall when it is in the centre of Hamilton. The crowd hanging around can seem intimidating. However, they are harmless for the most part and security is posted across the mall. The nice fountain used to run on the Bay/King side by Nations but has not since Covid hit.

This mall has gone down so much. I came here for the first time after 10 years and as soon as I walked in, there were two people shouting at a homeless man threatening to beat him up if he didn't leave. Alot of homeless people do hang out inside and outside. Not many good stores left in there. It would be nice if they could somehow revamp it but not sure if it's possible.

This mall has drastically improved in recent years. Much of the mall is newly renovated, and the lighting has been improved greatly. Jackson square has most of the "typical mall stores" as well as some local and specialty shops. The mall is always busy and alive. It's great to see this mall, as well as the attached office towers being renewed to their full potential.

The convenience shops in general could do better. There are some sketchy and scammy shopowners. One was trying to sell me phones at quarter the full price, the catch is he owns a convenience shop. There are some good things, such as the Nations, honestly, if it was not there. I wouldn't even go to Jackson Square that often. And the food court is great too.

I enjoyed my time with my granson. We went for lunch. The market .I checked out alot of stores I even got some shopping in And took a rest at starbucks and enjoyed a drink..Their is entrances that wheelchairs can get in.Their are ramps you can go up and down aroun TD They have elevators to go upto what level you need. Great mall.

Jackson Square isn't a bad place for shopping. There's plenty of stores and merchandise. Lots of places to go for lunch. As a long time resident of Hamilton I've seen it go through many changes with many closures. If you're new to Hamilton or have never been to Jackson Square, you'd never know so that wouldn't be an issue.

Jackson square and it’s employees are great, the farmers market and library are beautiful. It need more businesses at no fault of the mall. The population of undesirable people causes catastrophic damages to the mall’s businesses, be kind to the employees here as you have no idea the things they deal with on the daily

This place has alot of the usual stores you'd find in a mall. It gets a bad a rap. The farmers market and movie theatre are great. However, the bathrooms leave something desired. Last time I was there during regular business hours only one washroom was available. I think that might be against certain bylaws.

Sharing is Caring. When possible I like to remember the Sincere importance of having something extra or available to offer and share with whomever I may have the mutual privilege of interacting with, when out and about. Good Vibes Only❣️From Jackson Square And Absolutely Everywhere. ➖➖

I know many have problems with the atmosphere and complaining about homeless people.. but I don't see any harm from them, also I like to walk in active places. There are many restaurants and a spacious dining area. The only downside is that they all close at 7:00pm which is so early for me

  • Nathaniel Root

It's places like this that make people think Hamilton is a scary and dirty city. I don't want to speak poorly about the individual shops, but there's a real lack of overall quality at this mall. I do like the cinema because it's cheap and comfortable, but it's not the easiest to access.

Jackson Square is a staple in the Downtown area. This mall has a theater with the best seats in the city. Sadly many shops and stores have closed. Plans to tare down the mall are up in the air. Sadly I expect to see this location change greatly in the upcoming years.

  • Joanne Brigmantas

I went into Nations grocery store. This place has an incredible variety of foods from all different cultures. The fish and seafood room had lots to offer at great prices. I did not have time to peruse the whole store but I will be back for an excursion!

  • Darrell turner

Really dead inside. Alot of wayward people hanging out . Inside and out . Major construction going on to the upper deck. Sad because I remember back in 1975 when I first visited Jackson Square it was hopping and streaming with people .

  • Peter Sobolewski

The Mall has been going through some changes and restoration and it shows that they have a good improvement and even the food court got much better and less of the kids running around are more under control Great work staff

Jackson Square is ok. I love that the markets( both the international & the local markets) are in close proximity to each other. I also love Suzie Sheer and Limited, so I go in and browse through each time I visit. …

  • Zorana

It’s a decent mall if you just want to grab a drink at timmies or wherever and just walk around. Or sit down for a few moments. Only downside is nations fresh foods always reeks up the whole mall with the fish…

  • Marge Hughes

If there was a closer book store, I would definitely go to it. The washrooms in Jackson Square are riddled with needles while the security guards sits on a chair outside of them playing on his phone.

  • therealtaylorbieber Bieber

The security guards are great and they will protect your stuff from anybody to steal it. I don’t like Jackson Square, at the beginning but since I got used to it, I’m giving it a four-star rating.

  • Margaret Lynn France

It broke my heart to see the closed business. The number of street people outside also drugs being sold is scary for a disabled senior. The stores and staff are very helpful.

  • Brian Mahoney

Cramped. Too many stalls, for me anyway. If it's like this in November, it must be a zoo in the summer. Sales stalls, not many eat-in food stalls. Dismal, actually.

  • Ana Patricia Asgill

This mall is ok, doing lots of renovations, and i hope its for the best because for a downtown mall, there isnt much to see which sucks, espe ially fortourists

  • Jenne Stark

It closes way too early, and there is a lot of illegal activities in and around the place. Security guards are necessary for the place to run at all.

  • Scott Bouchard

Jackson Square is a great place to shop, eat and socialize with family and friends! Great Downtown Location and its always busy which is great....

  • Ravi Kapahi

The mall has improved greatly since my last visit earlier this year. There are less vacant shops, and every establishment had pleasant staff.

  • allan carty

Lots to see. Including a movie theatre. A food court, drug store, dollarama. Toby's restaurant. TD Bank. Close to home. Very convenient.

  • Glen Follett

Decent sized indoor mall in downtown Hamilton. Eating and shopping within walking distance of city hall, entertainment venues, etc.

  • Joel Sandink

I like this mall. Yes it's gotten dirtier over the years and a lot of shops have closed but it's still a cool place to explore.

  • Luke Jan Aleksiejuk

It was great fun and I ate KFC chicken it was hot and delicious so were my French fries hahaha KFC takes all chicken hahaha

  • Zahra Moghimi

It is a nice mall, has nation store which is one of my favorite. Lots of brands such as suzie, ardene, sephora, etc.

  • Christopher B

It's okay. Didn't really have anything I couldn't find at home in Toronto . Washroom is awful. Like porta potti bad.

  • Jorge Barasa

Washroom is a basic human right. Open your washroom. Ir stop allowing food outlets in your mall.

  • Aparna Bhatnagar

good deals during thanksgiving and black friday, parking is difficult sometimes.
