Went into the store today after deciding on a piece of art from their website. Literally took one step inside the store and the lady shouted from the counter "Babe you cant come into the store with food". My two older kids had frozen yogurt in a cup. I mean fine if there are rules but maybe try waiting till I take a few steps inside and ask how am I before saying sorry we dont really allow food in store or better yet just say could your kids stay away from furniture with food politely. My kids were completely calm also. Anyway worst customer service and will buy the art elsewhere, will never return.

The worst customer service in Adelaide. Visited 5 times in the last two months because the do have nice things but not once has anyone ever greeted me, talked to me while I've been looking for things to buy. Always 2 women chatting behind the counter and no one else in the store but they can't be bothered to say hello to their customers. Thank God for Ond Rundle Trading. Will go out of my way to shop there as the customer service is great. Won't bother dropping past here again. Funny enough I was discussing this with another shops assistant and she said she's heard this before frim her customers.

The shop had plenty of sm to medium sized cussions but I was after a 70cm x 70cm square cussion for the Royal Adelaide Show. I need it for the dog benches,so that I don't get a sore backside,before I get judged on that particular day. The benching area at the Show is not very wide but its a deep in length. I think its 70cm x 1.2m in size. So that is why I need it. The cussion must be washable & made out of Bamboo fibre. I don't like synthetics at all. Is it possible to order one from your Company or go somewhere else? I have several months until 30th August,2019( which is a Friday). Thank you.

I always enjoy my visits to “Home Basics & Design” & I never leave emptied handed. There are so many great homewares & variety. Everyone is always friendly & helpful. It’s great to have such a fabulous shop at the Bay. Well done Home Basics & design on a great looking & well set out shop that is a pleasure to shop in !

A great shop, Never failed to get exactly what I needed. The highest quality at excellent and very competative prices. I have trouble keeping myself out of the kitchen long enough to do other things. The staff are all informed and informative extremely helpful.

I regularly in for both kitchen and giftware. Good range and pricing, and the range changes with the seasons, so there is always something different. Great service too.
