I originally made contacted with Home and Cottages in the spring of 2021 - for some advise on paint colours for a home renovation. The owner of Home and Cottages (Kathryn) came to my house to ascertain what my vision for my renovation was all about. It quickly became clear that I needed her expertise and inspiration on far more than just paint colours. Her ability to take my thoughts and turn them into colours and textures that represent who I am and the energy I was looking for was uncanny!!!! Since that time Kathryn been involved in the renovation of my business office. My business partner and I have not stopped hearing the complements on the transformation of our space.

This shop and its pieces are stunning! Kathryn came highly recommended by a colleague. She was beyond helpful, warm, knowledgeable, and super hands-on while redesigning my office space in lightening speed. The vibe I was looking for was executed professionally and beautifully. I was a bit nervous to ask for help as I wasn't sure it would be possible to improve our house. But then I met Kathryn and she is putting all of these worries to rest! I had the most amazing experience hiring Kathryn of Home & Cottages re-decorate my condo!! She made every step of the process incredibly EASY and the end result was perfection!!! I went from living mostly in my bedroom because I didn't love the rest of my space, to living AND loving ALL of it! This place is phenomenal! Such beautiful high quality products that are the perfect additions to my home. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help. I am so happy this little place is in my neighbourhood and will definitely be going back again and again!!!

Just completed a Mosaic Tile/Table workshop and loved it!! Great afternoon activity with friends and great value. Kathryn provided excellent instruction and guidance on design ideas when needed. I would highly recommend as a fun, creative activity for an individual or group.

This is a wonderful, locally owned business, full of great gifts large and small. I took a friend to the store last week and she could not keep telling me how she loved it. I have also bought a rug, tables and an ottoman from H&C and love them all. Thanks Katherine

Love this shoppe. They have moved farther east to a new much larger location with lots of parking. Great friendly folks to assist you. Very nice furniture as well as home decor and interior design services. Well worth venturing out to see them.

I just finishes my first piece of furniture at a homes and cottage workshop. All I can say is I'm hooked on creating, and hooked on this amazing store. Really amazing people to help with decorating my home. Love the place.
