Tonight I witnessed a young male in his 20s extremely drunk to the point of not being able to stand on his own two feet,he was with another male friend who was semi drunk. The mate tried helping his drunk friend to walk but lost balance and the drunk friend fell to ground and cracked his head . At this stage I didn’t see what was happening until he got up ,I called ambos straight away and as I hung up two police officers walked around corner obviously seen the guy bleeding from his head and literally walked straight past him !!!! Omg !! What the hell i was in disbelief at there lack of empathy they completely ignored the situation!! I then called hindley street police station and the officer on phone basically told me everyone was too busy to attend (even though two just casually walked past ) and if I was so concerned I should call ambos myself (which I had already) . I’m writing this review as I’m disgusted way he spoke to me on phone and police lack of care for community. Isn’t that there job To attend to ppl in these situations ???

So rude over the phone, they gave me some misinformation legally, and they made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to ask for information and kept speaking in a rude tone and hung up on me just because I wanted some information and to ask a few questions. I wanted to ask for more information on what reporting an incident would involve and got hung up on the first time and the second time a different person was still a little annoyed to talk to me but at least they answered my questions. Edit: later I found out I got misinformed and they also made me feel like I couldn’t call here for advice or information. I’d never call again and would avoid as much as I could.
Lazy and absolutely hopeless when it comes to lost property and tying to request look back on public transport CCTV seeing if anyone has picked up lost property .They are not crime fighters they are more a debt collectors. SAPOL ARE just don't give a stuff about about the community some are just arragnt sods. Exstreamly disappointing with SAPOL with there most disgraceful attached. Hindley police station should be named and shamed.
I was held at knife point, and robbed of my disability pension, I was homeless, the man ran past the police station after he robbed me. I went into the hindley street station, and I asked them to check the cameras, the 3 police officers laughed at me, and said we're just here to man the station. I asked them to check the cameras, and in one second without checking he said, I did, there's nothing here, and laughed at me. Shame on you
Police were called regarding an incident between a man against a child. A 6’3”+ man yelled at a child, stood over him, and raised his arms at a four year old child in the Hutt Street Library. The officer called me to tell me this is not assault and the police do not attend these issues. According to the Hutt Street Police station, it is ok to threaten a young child.
Having just visited the station to apply for a gun licence I could not fault the service I received. The 2 officers who served me were both very polite, cheery & helpful. I phoned the station before I went to ensure they could help & the phone was answered promptly & the officer was friendly & helpful. Excellent service!
Some of the police who work out of this station are great people who I really respect but ultimately I am deducting 3 stars because the man is keeping us all down. Personally, I would like to see more hoons / 'engine revvers' fined for their antisocial behaviour at which point I'll improve the currently awarded rating.
Been here to report something, the police officer very helpful. thanks for asking my wife about the English level at the first time and let me explain properly for my wife. Sometimes it is very hard to explain the complicated things using second language. Thanks police officer, u are reallly trying to help people.
This is the worst police station in Adelaide. They do not take police reports seriously. I came in not long ago to make police report because i know someone who is being abused. The officer obviously didn't want to do the report and started accusing me of harassing other people.
Had an incident at 6:30am cops that dealt with it were quite rude and weren’t prepared to listen to myself or partner and refused to give badge number or name. Could not believe the way we were treated. Officers at the desk were quite nice and helpful.
Had to get a stat dec signed and the 2 officers that helped me where super helpful, even faxed it off for me then and their. Really friendly really helpful highly recommend if you’re in the city and need a JP
I was given false information by the police on the frontdesk when I pusuit the matter of honesty, an officer insulted me, calling me a “retard” and remove me from the station.
Tried to call call call call. No Answer. Tried 10 times in an hour. It just rang off the hook. Who the heck is there? Noone? This was actually Adelaide police station
Really feeling low bike got stolen near to your station in a day time but you are unaware as always . Really you need to change and see the details
We came to get confirmation for our passport and visa documents but the receptionist was just got frustrated for no reasons.
Extremely efficient at raising revenue but when you need them you call 6 times only for the line to ring out. . . .
Absolutely terrible customer service. Super unhelpful & even gave misinformation in regards to filing a report.
Great group of people here, very helpful and great at what they do for the community, thanks guys!
