My friend and I went to Miracle last night and received HORRIBLE service. My friend and I ordered a Christmas cocktail which was $15 each. We order the same drink however hers comes out in the festive cup as you would expect. Mine came out in a plastic cup? I ask why that is and they say because they didn’t have any clean? Why would you not advise the customer of that and ask them if they still want it or another drink that they have the cups for?! Then once I advise I will wait for a clean cup because that is what we are paying $15 for not a simple plastic cup, at a CHRISTMAS POP UP! The bar manager brings the drink out and talks to me as if I am the issue for wanting the drink/ cup that I paid for (not sure why he’s the manager if he talks to people that way.) You order your drinks through the app, so I order a vodka soda. I ordered a total of 3 by clicking the button ORDER AGAIN. This RUDDDEEE female waitress brings me a drink that doesnt even have the same color as what I’ve been ordering and I tell her that’s not correct she tells me to CHILL and rudely walks away. Then as I’m leaving the guy at the door proceeds to say, ai heard you’ve been causing problems?! EXCUSE ME!! That was my first and ABSOLUTELY my last time going there!!! Horrible establishment with horrible managers and employees!

I would like to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on the recent experiences at HIDE bar. As a patron who has visited this establishment on three separate occasions, I must express my disappointment in the level of service provided each time. My most recent visit to HIDE was particularly unsatisfactory. Upon arrival, my friend and I waited approximately 8-10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the staff for our initial round of drinks. This delay was especially frustrating given the fact that the bar was almost empty at the time, and there appeared to be ample staff available to attend to our needs. Furthermore, this is not an isolated incident. I have visited HIDE on two other occasions, and each time I have experienced similarly poor service. The staff seems indifferent and uninterested in providing prompt and attentive service to their patrons, which has left a sour taste in my mouth. Overall, while the atmosphere and drinks at HIDE are enjoyable, the consistently disappointing service has left me with little desire to return. It is my hope that the management team will take steps to improve the service experience for their patrons, as this would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience of visiting this establishment.

One of my favorite Happy Hours in Deep Ellum. Meticulously crafted cocktails are at the forefront of HIDE, but the HH food menu is super affordable with great portions and are full of just as much thought-out flavor as the drinks they make. I usually end up getting a Tom Collins because I can, and it's very, very hard to pass up the $6(!) double burger and fries; although the Tabasco(?) ketchup comes off a little bitter and not an enjoyable spicy to me. Best yet is the popcorn on their menu — it is so so good. It's $2, and a heaping mound of herby, salt/umami-crystal flaked popcorn. Tons of buttery flavor that goes well with/aligns some of the focused aromatics they use in their offerings. Seriously though, had everything on the HH Menu at some point and each item is nothing short of a knockout when based on my classic Cost per Cal by Flavor ratio or soon to be seen in dining out textbooks as the formula — CPC x F. In a couple of visits, I've never had bad service. Even if I had something they forgot or omitted, the staff there was always super helpful, courteous and made sure I was taken care of. They have a new brunch menu from what I remember so I can't wait to give that a shot some weekend soon. Great place.

A disappointing experience. My fiance & I selected Hide because of multiple reviews about their pet-friendly rooftop seating, with views of downtown Dallas. We were celebrating our recent move to the DFW area when we brought along our 9-lb Aussie-doodle. Neither the website or Yelp page mentioned the rooftop being closed, so this felt like a 'bait-and-switch.' Upon arrival, we instructed to seat out front because their restaurant isn't pet-friendly. Note: it was 49 degrees & very windy. We sat outside for several minutes before anyone attempted to start a heater. After 2 employees attempted, they abandoned the effort and tried to take our drink order. We left, went home and ordered in. I'm not upset, and in fact I own a rooftop bar (in another town). But if my best asset was essentially "offline," then I would feel the need to disclose this; it didn't seem like Hide cared to meet our needs. Inside the restaurant was fairly quiet, and our dog is small & well-behaved. If I were the onsite manager/owner, I would have invited our party to just dine inside. But that option wasn't extended to us. Perhaps we'll try again, but not for a LONG while.

The old bait and switch! I went for the Makhachev fight. I go straight up stairs and they are showing the fight on half of their TV’s. As soon as the main fight card started, they immediately changed the channel. When I went up to a bartender to ask if they’d be showing the fight, he snapped at me with an aggressive NO, as he quickly turned away. I’d understand a little I guess if they were slammed, but they absolutely were not (likely because they weren’t showing the fight). Anyway, the staff that I encountered was typical of any grunge bar or club I’d visit. Not friendly at all and not cute enough to act the way they do. I would expect a little bit more class from this joint, but hey ‍♂️ In hindsight, I think you’re going here for the name. Dallas tends to promote places that, for the life of me I cannot figure out why, are simply not that great. I’m often underwhelmed with venues like this that people seem to speak highly of. This is just another copy paste establishment. Nothing special. Id probably tell out of towners to visit HIDE as to keep the actual gems to myself ha.

I did some research prior to arriving. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the experience that most reviewers had. The only people who were friendly was the hostess and the manager. The bartender who waited on us was not friendly and never smiled. I asked for drink recommendations and his response was “All the drinks are good. It just depends on what you are in a mood for.” I didn’t get a good vibe from him at all. I observed him interacting with other patrons and we were not treated the same way. My guest and I did not genuinely feel welcomed. A part of my entree came out ice cold. The manager was notified and came over, corrected the situation, and was certain everything was to my liking. I appreciated that. The food was just ok. The restaurant was not crowded so I don’t understand why service was not top notch. Nevertheless, this was my first and last visit to Hide Bar and I will not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I have visited the inside multiple times and the upstairs Christmas bar twice. While I've gotten 5 star service and decent food inside at the bar, I've gotten 1-3 star service both times upstairs at the Christmas bar. Inside: Attentive bartenders. The food is super mediocre but the vibe, service, and drinks are good. Upstairs: They have drinks on the menu that they don't actually have but since you order on your phone, the price doesn't change. My pizza was brought out and put down on the table while others who ordered pizzas got little stands. We were given no napkins, no water, no utensils, no plates ... just a pizza on the table. The tip is already filled in and I wonder what I'm tipping for but then had the nerve to request additional tip. FOR WHAT?! Definitely won't be visiting the upstairs ever again ... Christmas or not.

What an awesome place! A group of gals got together to celebrate a friend getting married. We met when they opened on a Sunday, and the restaurant had plenty of space for us. Our waitress was kind, patient and extremely helpful when offering drink suggestions! (Go with the electric lemonade for the win! Skip the promenade!) The appetizers were delicious, especially the monkey bread. Although the prices aren't necessarily cheap, I feel the quality is high. The salsa that comes on the chilaquiles was delish! I would definitely go back. The vibe was relaxed, you don't have to dress up but can if you want. Fantastic service and clean bathrooms! I wish I had caught our waitress's name, but I arrived late and missed introductions. She was so attentive and helpful, and kept the table clean! A very gracious host!

Restaurant is super cute and has a great vibe, however food is nothing but ok. Our server was very unhelpful. When deciding what to order we asked for recommendations and his response was “I just drink here.”Then asking which out of two pizzas he’d suggest he proceeded to reply”whatever you pick will be good”. I ordered the ribeye scramble and it came out very cold, they did reheat it upon request but the flavoring was still bland. I had to add a good amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce to have any kind of flavor. My spouse ordered a Caesar salad and bbq pizza. The salad was good but came with pickled jalapeños on it which left an unfortunate vinegar taste that didn’t compliment the Cesar dressing and was very overpowering. The pizza was the best off the three but still very bland overall.

On a trip to Dallas, for a wedding; we decided to stop by Hide via the recommendations of a trusted friend. We started with shots of Uncle Don (Blanco) given the nature of our visit we had to get things started off on the right foot! The ambiance of this establishment is very chill and I definitely enjoyed my time here. After the shots, I decided to go with the "Always on the Rind"; good but not as refreshing as I was made to believe. After the Rind, ended up selecting the "Electric Lemonade", now we are talking, as this was truly delicious and packed a punch, if you know what I mean. For food: The Double Cheeseburger, literally melted in my mouth! Well done, here team! I will definitely be back and I recommend this establishment to any and all looking for a great time. Cheers,

I honestly think that the crispy chicken & hot honey is a great tasting pizza BUT the thin crust is WAY TOO CRISPY. I don’t know if the kitchen crew over baked the pizza or it just comes that way but I kid you not, I had a headache from trying to chew it. I enjoy thin crust pizza but this pizza would be better with a thicker crust. Hear me out, the chicken is already fried and crispy on top of a thin crust pizza that is baked so hard the cheese is brown. That’s a pretty dry combination. The paper planes drink was tasty. Overall the restaurant is in a great location. Love the outside patio and the inside is nice as well. Please consider this review with the best intentions. I genuinely want to order that pizza again but I simply wouldn’t.

We made a reservation at this dining place as the first stop of our bar crawl to ensure we didn't drink on an empty stomach. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was exceptional. However, we had an uncomfortable experience due to the non-working AC and being seated in a corner near the wall, squeezed between other people. We noticed some guests using the menu to fan themselves. It would be great if they could change the layout, perhaps removing booths and opting for a more open seating arrangement. Nevertheless, overall, the place is good, and we'll definitely be back for the food and drinks.

Luckily they weren’t hiding away their ability to make a fabulous cocktail served by friendly bartender Chris! I see why they won best bar in Dallas for the last couple years. I had a delicious spot on rye Manhattan with a luxardo cherry while chatting with a knowledgeable bartender and while sitting in their relaxing room. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other concoctions. I highly recommend this place if you want a great drink in a great setting with the fabulous vibe. Go! Went a second time & will. DEFINITELY return again and again. Colby is the best bartenders house can speak knowledgeably about Amaros. Try his recs. $6 delicious cheeseburgers in addition to amazing cocktails. Why not?!?!

Christmas tiki “experience” review: walk up an ungodly amount of stairs, seat yourself, order yourself using a QR code and table number, never speak to any servers, be charged a mandatory gratuity for “large group” even though we were a party of 2. They had a large group gratuity mandatory which is surprising since no one talked to us or did anything for us. The charge was named for the love of tiki, to be honest charging customers for Christmas decor is painful. I would have preferred if they said up front no tip needed/ tip included, wait staff should be paid well and those fees should be more transparent at the start of service. $18 for a cocktail with no service or wait staff, and mid decor is a pass.

Went last night and was really disappointment considering the reviews were amazing. Had to wait for a table outside because we brought our pups. When we got the notification our table was ready the hostess forgot to input we had dogs so we had to wait another couple of minutes until an outside table was ready. Nobody ever came to serve us so we had to serve ourselves at the bar. Bar service was great though, just unnecessary considering a waitress was helping out everyone else on the patio except us. Not sure why we were excluded, but the only time we spoke with a team member was when they brought out our food. Obviously had to close out our tab inside at the bar and then we left. Food was okay.

Was such a great experience for my wifes birthday event here! We reserved for a group of 32 people at this location and Mike Backlund was very quick on communication and getting us setup with ease. The event itself was a great time and would highly recommend Hide Bar and would definitely consider planning future events here again. The GM Scott Melton and the wait staff/bartenders were super accomodating and made for a very pleasant and fun experience. Food was top notch; pizza was great, eggrolls were great, etc. They were also very reasonable with pricing. Wife had a very good birthday at this location.

I’ll start off by saying, good cocktails, definitely a good place if you want a lot of liquor in a drink. However we only had one food item and so glad we didn’t order more. The crispy rice spicy tuna is lacking so bad. I mean it’s finger food and it’s basically tasteless, just because you slapped some tuna with a jalapeño on top doesn’t make it spicy tuna, and the little cucumber piece you stick between the rice and tuna doesn’t make it more refreshing it makes it even more bland. Really disappointing for a finger food so popular and so easy to execute well.

They trick you into leaving a massive tip. They automatically apply 20% tip to your bar tab, but then they prompt you to leave an additional tip beyond that. It is confusing, but if you only want to leave 20%, you have to press "no tip", which is misleading and makes you seem like a cheapskate. I find this very disappointing because I like Hide a lot. But I am not a millionaire. I'll gladly pay 20% (or more) for a tip, but I do not like being hustled into paying a 40% tip. For example, we ordered a $25 pizza. But after all of their shenanigans it came out to costing $37.88. At a certain point going out is just not worth it.

I remember Hide of Deep Ellum and I came here expecting this place to be similar with the same vibes. It's not. It's still a great bar and their new cocktail menu is expansive and well made, as well as their menu. However, I which they would have re-branded themselves when they moved - maybe called them selves "SEEK" to play off the name? In short, if you are looking for the original HIDE, this will remind you of it slightly - while they still have the HH burger and popcorn, it's just not as tasty. What they are doing here is new and fresh and bright and I'm sure it will do well. I just miss the old Hide.

My group came by for a family brunch on a Sunday. We were greeted right away, and our server was very attentive. The entrées were equally wonderful. Each dish was very flavorful & the pancakes are so light & fluffy they just melt in your mouth. I would recommend trying them out. They were not overly crowded as I expected for brunch (however, we did arrive early at 11:30). My only disappointment was the price for a mimosas is $12, almost as much as their breakfast plate. They should have a drink special to go with brunch, in comparison to the very many competitive prices around the same area.

  • Zipporah Bryant

The decor is beautiful. I wish I had gone at a time where I could have gone up to the rooftop, but I was there too early. The food was really great. My burger was very good, but the thing that stood out to me was the ketchup that I had with my fries. I'm obsessed with it at this point. My cocktail was amazing. I really appreciated that the bartender came over to make sure my drink was ok for me. My server was also really attentive. I will definitely be going back.

I can’t speak for the restaurant/ bar downstairs since I only tried the rooftop bar. The atmosphere was ok but they had a very limited menu. I ordered a tall boy but ended up getting a half-empty cup beer (seen in the picture). I brought it up to the waiter and asked him to at least fill the cup but he said that’s a full beer (not it’s not). Ended up getting charged $8 for this. And the app they force you to use when ordering also automatically charges you a 20% tip. We left after an hour and went to HG supply, which I thought was a much better experience all around.

Went there for brunch at the new location on Greenville Avenue, this breakfast was amazing the biscuits are incredibly homemade the sticky buns were crispy and covered in icing the white goose steak and eggs was absolutely delicious everything came out great pineapple juice mimosas and everything just was amazing the staff was great service was fast food was fresh it was everything we’d hope for prices are moderate for Greenville Avenue if you’re familiar all in all this was definitely a great brunch spot and I will recommend to friends and family.

  • Jordan Tomenga

We had an okay time at HIDE for their brunch. They have a small brunch menu that didn't personally impress much. I had a spicy chicken bowl with a mountain of tater tots, 2 eggs, and about the equivalent of 1 chicken tender diced up in the mix. Among our party, there were complaints about light pours on their mimosas, but in general they have an enormous collection of creative cocktails. I wouldn't say I'm in a hurry to get back, as I believe better brunch options exist. Its important to note that the staff was eager to please and very friendly.

From the moment you're greeted when you walk in the door this place has a soul and ambiance that make it a must-see when you go to Deep Ellum. The craft cocktails are intricately designed to leave you searching your palette for different flavors. The drinks are quite strong and this place is more about the experience then doing shot after shot. While ordering a drink from the menu would be suggested during busy times if the bartender had a few minutes let them decide a craft cocktail for you and I promise you won't be disappointed.

  • Abigail Jones

Cool vibe. Very open space. The waitress knew her stuff and gave us honest opinions about drinks to get and which ones were her fav. I LOVE when people do that. I had "The Sith Lord", the red drink. It was a little sweet for my disposition, but I had to order it with a name like that. I could tell that several of the whiskey drinks were using good whiskey and not just run of the mill stuff. I would prolly go here again... At the same time, with so many other good happy hour spots, it doesn't stand as a all time fav.

  • S B

Good food and great service. The green walls were very inviting and made the place feel like a wonderful brunch spot. We came for happy hour and they have a good happy hour menu and drinks. We had a French 75 and a Moscow mule which were delicious. For entree it was the burger that was wonderful. Fries were good and hot but more basic. Would recommend for an afternoon outing for drinks.

Yooooo! This place is pretty great. I went with some friends and got the double cheeseburger, but I regret not getting the spicy chicken bowl. My friend said the spicy chicken bowl was spicy and he didn't even eat the jalapenos with it. We also tried the monkey bread and needless to say that was pretty great. Got the bottle of champagne for mimosas and it was enough for 3 people. Might be pushing it for 4 people. I would recommend this place. It is a bit on the pricey side for drinks but the food is good.

  • Andrea Childs

The atmosphere was super cool. They played a lot of 90’s hip hop which I loved. We got appetizers so the portions were literally snack size but food was pretty good. The server was a super cool dude too. The drinks were also well made and got to our table pretty quick. The parking was a little tight but we went for Happy Hour so it wasn’t to bad.

Loved the Deep Ellum location, however, this one...a huge PASS. The rooftop bar sucks, the music isn't loud enough and the playlist is dull, the drinks are served in plastic containers with no decor and look and taste very bland, they never have what I order and if they do, they take over 20 minutes to bring it to us, the servers are unfriendly and rude. Will not be returning to this bar ever again, I've been to the new location 5 times now and every time I do, it gets worse. Thank you, but no thank you.

  • Kimberlee

I can appreciate a good cocktail and HIDE has a lot to choose from! Went for brunch and although good, it wasn't spectacular. Be warned! The pulled pork bowl is S-P-I-C-Y! The menu only states "peppers" as an ingredient without mentioning you'll sweat your way through the meal. Luckily, I like spicy food. Unfortunately my friend who also ordered it does not and couldn't finish the dish. Staff is kind, patient and helpful. I'd go back again, but maybe to enjoy the bar vibe instead of brunch.

  • Briana Lee

Oh, HIDE! You never disappoint. For starters, the ambiance is awesome. Although, the staff dresses very casual (like SMU t-shirts and khakis), there's an industrial, minimalist and chic vibe to the restaurant creating a nice imitate dining experience with friends or a significant other. Second, the food is good. I believe their fries are heaven sent! Third, cocktails galore! I enjoy watching the bartenders create drinks using non-traditional techniques and equipment and their good too!

  • Jennifer Gordon

This place was SO COOL!! The decorations, the outfits the bartenders had on and the drinks are all festive. There aren't a lot of tables inside but, they have another seating area. We talked to the 2 female bartenders they were really nice. One helped me put on my taco temporary tattoo. It was our first time visiting this bar and kaylee (I think) explained the holiday menu and regular menu. Basically she answered any questions we had eventhough they were super busy she was patient.

  • James Lentz

Service was good and the cocktails competent, but I expected more creativity, both in flavor and presentation. The ambiance was unexceptional and the crowd seemed both less sophisticated and less interesting than I'd hoped for what I was told was one of the better bars in the city. Our server did tell us that they were making the transition from a downtown popup location and were operating from a limited menu, so perhaps once they get themselves back together things will improve.

  • Joshua Bell

I don't typically write reviews, but I felt like this place deserved one. I've been here a few times and every time has been a great experience. The drinks have enough classic cocktails going for it that it shouldn't intimidate, but it also has some very unique ones as well. I'm usually pretty picky when it comes to Old Fashioneds, but this place has one of the best ones I've found here in Dallas. Also, the food was surprisingly good. Chicken sandwich is highly recommended.

  • Chamelia Jefferson

Been going since they moved to lower Greenville and quality of food has already changed. The manager and server did not accommodate our needs. The nachos & ground beef we ordered didn’t fit the description. Requested more meat and cheese, they wouldn’t remake it so added meat and cheese to an existing cold plate of nachos. Charged $16 for nothing. Order the egg rolls ($13) basically 3 large egg rolls cut in half. Not worth it at all. Only stick to happy hour and drinks.

  • Natalie D

I came here during the month of December and the decor was awesome! Very festive for the holiday season with snowman, stockings covering the seats and Christmas lights. The cocktail menu was unique with fun names to read for the season. They weren’t outstanding but decent. They also gave us a complimentary mistletoe shot to brighten up the mood. They didn’t offer us water but also we didn’t ask. The servers were attentive to us. I would return due to the cool ambiance!

  • The Artist

I got the Ahi tacos and they looked like something from a kid's plate on a Melissa and Doug toy menu. They were super tiny, not as tasty as I thought they would be, and came in an order of 3 but definitely not worth $16! I wish that I would've taken a picture but didn't. The cups of water were small and had to ask for more but our server was nice even though they were busy. Overall the food was not enough for 'me' to want to return. However, the atmosphere was good.

  • J Gentry

This was my first time visiting and I have to say the atmosphere was wonderful; moderate size, not overly crowded and very clean. The bartenders were very knowledgeable on all beverages being served with great customer service skills. I had the Turbo Quaker and Hold Me Close both were very enjoyable with a good flavor. The cocktails are carefully crafted and some infused with essential tincures, very unique and lovely. I will definitely visit again!

  • Alex Dagley

Ordered 2 $11 drinks, the Green Tara. They said it was $33 so I asked if she accidentally rang in an extra drink…. She said no that it was a “20% roof tax” bc we were on the rooftop area. Didn’t warn us, and that math doesn’t even add up. Beware Edit response to owner: no I didn’t and it wasn’t a mistake, I showed the bartender the price was $11 per drink and she said the roof tax thing like i was the idiot. It was intentional

This was our first stop of the night while bar hopping downtown. The upstairs was suuuper packed so we all went downstairs and enjoyed a few drinks. I had one of the worst meals that I’ve had in a long time here today. Had the pimento cheese balls which were cold in the middle. I let them know and they returned them luke warm. Ordered the burger, which was $15, and the meat was smaller than a Jr burger. It tasted and looked like a burger from sonic. Fries were not properly cooked. I never give reviews on restaurants but this was awful. Will not be going back.

Great place, bartenders are friendly and know there stuff. fantastic cocktails pair excellently with the food. My favorite is the steak and my current favorite drink is the old fashion served in a clear flask, you can taste the notes in the blend of spices used, off the hook. Place is clean, modern and classy, you won't be disappointed, looking forward to bringing my daughter here she loves cocktails.

  • Cyrus Baty

Went here with some friends for a cocktail after a busy day of travel. This area is a great hangout place but hide was a cool little bar. The food was pretty good! I love tater tots and they were yummy. I also had some Philly cheesesteak meatballs that were good and filling. The cocktails are fancy craft and run about 12 bucks each, normal for fancy bars there days. All in all a good visit.

  • Jordan McGowen

We went on a Thursday night with a large group and it was pretty busy. I think it's a great spot for a double date but not for more than 6 people since the bar had people sitting everywhere so it was hard to get drinks. They have a great cocktail menu with unique options but be prepared to spend ~$13/drink. I had one with mezcal and some other smokey charcoal stuff and it was delicious.

The staff and atmosphere is great! We've tried several food items and all were amazing except for the nachos. It was the worst appetizer! The chips are so small and the cheese is so hard that nothing sticks to the chips. While the roof deck has nice atmosphere, the service is extremely slow. They need to offer servers just like the first level Great addition to Lower Greenville.

Absolutely the best bar ever!!! I am very much so into gin drinks. The best gimlet ever is the Southside cocktail. I will come here ever Friday from now on. I see they have brunch so I may just have to sleep here on the weekends. The food is great... the vibe is great... the drinks kill. I see why this place has won the awards it has. My brother said it's our new spot!

  • Kelsey Solow

10/10 would recommend for brunch! I had the breakfast plate, which was reasonably priced and delicious. I don’t eat pork, so finding out that they offer chicken sausage was a huge win. The tater tot hash with the rosemary was *chef’s kiss*. Even the butter had a slight sweetness, and the jelly tasted homemade. Great local, neighborhood spot that we plan to revisit soon.

  • Nicolette Miller

Never coming back. This place deceives you into getting sucked into a 20% “large party” gratitude on top of your tip without telling you - even if you only have 1 person. Paid $60 for 4 drinks that i went up to the bar to get myself. Two of which were vizzy cans. Bartender couldn’t care less knowing they trick everyone like this. Don’t recommend this place to anyone

April 14, 2019 @0819 Most of the food is over the top. Eg. Chicken soaked overnight, custom made ketchup (who tf does that?) Etc. Drinks are a little above avg on price but quality and presentation def make it worth it. Under the bar coat hooks and cell phone charging ports add a we give a s@#$ vibe. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place. Will revisit.

Very SLOW service, lady behind the bar wasn't interested, wasn't friendly, doesn't know how to smile, 1st drink took ages, 2nd (no idea why we ordered a 2nd) took even longer and we waited ages to try and pay, she was to busy sitting at a table talking to others, there is better bars in the area that are happy to assist you and take your money.

HIDE is a really great addition to DE. The cocktails are not only delicious, but really creative - even the classics are stepped up a notch - and the bartenders are happy to tell you about how it's made if you're the cocktail nerd type (me). They make all their own flavorings from scratch... it's nice to find a bar that doesn't take shortcuts. We'll be back!

Stopped in from the airport for a quick cocktail and bite to eat. Johnny had some excellent recommendations for drinks and they were delicious. We got the Paloma and the Lucid Dreams. Food was fantastic! Only recommendation is to include more guac with the nachos. We didn’t get meat on ours and were out of guac before half of our nachos were gone.

It was getting late so my memory was fuzzy but cocktails were good, not great, and the tater tot dish that we had sounded much better than it actually tasted. The atmosphere is very nice, the best feature. Really I should come back and try more items to make a full decision. Happy hour sounds good but what are the deals?? Rhetorical. lol

  • Matthew Barber

Was there last Monday and had probably the best martinis made by Andy. Good bread knots and other food. A little pricey as I spent a little over 100 on 3 drinks and 2 food items, but great food, vibes and attitude from the tiny bartender downstairs.

Bad service. Took forever to get served. Then the bar tender told us our cocktails would be better if we drank them fast bc they would get warm. My husband ordered a vesper and the bar tender made something else. Drinks are marginal. Also feels more like it should be in uptown or Deep Ellum. No toilet paper nor towels in bathroom.

Have been here a couple of times. Brunch is a great lowkey spot with great food options and comparable pricing to other places in the area. Came on Friday evening and the place was packed. They still had seating at the bar and bartenders were attentive. Great espresso martini.

The service is terrible. Every time we come here we get the same waitress and she’s beyond rude. Order is always messed up. They automatically added gratuity for a party of 4 and when you go check out it auto selects to add 20% on top of the added gratuity. If you’re looking for a Christmas bar there’s a better one down town.

  • Kevin Phan

This place is just delightful, they handcraft just about every ingredient in their cocktails. They have great knowledge of their drinks and their drinks are all wonderful. The bartenders can tell you the fine details of their craft. The simplest drink like gin and tonic is even dissected and made above and beyond the norm.

  • Andrea Torres

Had such a fun and unique cocktail. Under the Brave category, made with tequila, aguardiente and Tamarid. The bartender explained it well, not spicy but full of spices. Wonderful flavor profile and great balance of tropical flavors. We ordered the Spicy chicken sandwich and it was good. We will be back for more drinks.

This is the 2nd time we have been to Hide. The first time was in 2019 at their old location. I got a mocktail this time and it was great. My wife got two cocktails and 1 was undrinkable. It was a gun rhubarb with a champagne acid balance. She couldn't tell why it was not good. For sure check out but slip that drink.

Terrible service. Bartender was as rude as rude gets. I asked for a straw and he was right next to them and did a sarcastic point and walked away. He was also very impolite when he couldn’t hear the drink order. Cool rooftop though. Go to the pizza company next door instead. They have rooftop seating as well.

Some guy was not letting me use the restroom and I was there at 7pm!! He told me u couldn’t use it unless u were a customer but I was on the waitlist I had a reservation at 6pm. Didn’t get served till 8pm and was refused to let go to the bathroom

Never fear, Chance is here. Honestly, we live in the area and this place has been hit or miss for us. Some of the bartenders have been quite aloof and surly, making the experience pretty negative. Chance was a breath of fresh air. Quick service. Great drinks. Too it off with the amazing tots and it’s a 10!

Cannot get enough of this place. Best old-fashioned I've ever had. Best limoncello I've ever had. It's a perfect atmosphere - great tunes and not ridiculously loud. The drinks are absolutely out of this world and each seems to be hand crafted. The food is phenomenal! Get the burger. You won't regret it.

  • S Smith

This place has really good food and the drinks are pretty good as well. Their brunch is great! The mimosa carafe is a bottle of champagne and a bottle of juice to mix yourself which I like. Only reason it's not 5* is because it's kind of expensive in comparison to other places and the drinks are small.

  • Evelyn Munoz

Bartender Jonathan served me a French 75 (made w/ brandy), which was absolutely delicious. We also had ordered Knots as our appetizer along with an espresso martini and a 50/50 martini. All during happy hour! (3-6pm)

We are from Iowa and were looking for a place for craft cocktails. Hide did not disappoint. Everything was top notch and very well thought out. The staff was very helpful with answering all our questions and making we had a great time. It was the best cocktails we had while in Dallas. You need to go.

  • Ryan Maynard

Really glad they opened on Lower Greenville. The space is quite large, and definitely feels more like restaurant than bar. The drinks we had were all excellent, with creative and complex flavor combinations. Service was a bit slow and inattentive on our visit, but we still had a good experience.

  • Deidra Lashmet

Pork bowl was very spicy despite being ordered mild. The "baked eggs" are a small cast iron pan with a soupy cheese sauce and a griddle fried egg on top... most bizzar thing I've seen in awhile. There is not 1 healthyish option on the menu. Brunch needs some work. Wait staff was great!

  • A.T. Green

Good food and good (and strong drinks) happy hour is until 7pm weekdays. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The good menu is super limited but you can likely find something you'll enjoy. The double cheeseburgers are a dream. The mixed drinks aren't overly sweet or watered down.

  • Jason Scott

Stopped in for the Christmas craft cocktail pop up bar and can't wait to come back for the regular menu. Super knowledgeable bar staff. But even better, friendly and welcoming. Cocktails highlight the ingredients and not just sugar like a lot of places. A very strong recommend.

  • Bruce O

We grabbed a seat at the bar. Super clean. Great vibe. Wide selections of your favorite drinks. Awesome bartenders who are knowledgeable in their handcrafted specialty cocktails. The appetizers were great and you can't go wrong with the burgers! We'll be going back very soon!!

  • Kristen Wiley

Charges $16.50 for a shot/drink of casa migos tequila. For the math fans out there that’s over 41% of what a bottle at the store costs. I’m used to Dallas prices but that seems outrageous for a lack luster rooftop and just human decency in general. Clearly we won’t be back.

  • J. Ell Cato

First time going to HIDE and it was a great experience. The drinks were amazing especially the guava passion. The restaurant/Bar was very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful with suggesting cocktails to try. I will definitely be going back. Great dimly lit atmosphere.

The food was bad, salty and oily. The brunch menu was deceiving. The ribeye scramble was roast beef, the burger thin like McDonald’s. My friend got a cocktail and that was good, so this is a good vibe if your going to drink only but I wouldn’t eat here again, maybe pizza.

  • Kimberly Taylor

I’ve been to Hide twice. Once for happy hour and once in the evening. The happy hour menu is great! Several $7 cocktail options from 3-6pm. When I went for evening drinks we weren’t as impressed. The vibe was more club like than classy and the outdoor patios feel crowded.

  • Melissa Shippers

All the bartenders were fantastic, very attentive, and very willing to share the procedures of making certain cocktails, which were fascinating to watch! The several cocktails we tried were great, and the food was stellar! Will definitely return if we come back to Dallas!

  • Edward alonzo

Hey nice place I came after work which was before 5 PM and got the happy hour. I had Miller light for seven dollars a glass. My wife had a couple of cocktails. Can’t remember what they were but she seem to enjoy them. Had a good time with some coworkers, while being here

  • Melanie Parker

We went Dec. 23 hoping to do the Santa Beach theme for girls night but the wind storm the night before messed that up for us. We did have a great time regardless, had cocktails and the beef and chicken nachos and loaded tator tots....which were all AMAZING.

  • Keara

Went for a Big Brothers Big Sisters event. Was upstairs so if you have ANY mobility issues, it would be difficult to navigate 2 flights of stairs. It was very muggy and hot although they had massive fans. The pizza was tasty cu customer service was good.

  • Nate Chertack

I'm not a cocktail person usually...but these are some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The bartenders are very knowledgeable, give them tips on what kind of drinks you enjoy and they'll come up with something you're sure to love. Great ambiance too!

  • Marlene trejo

Came up here for the first time thinking I was going to have a good night. Bartender upstairs over charged me and I only got a beer and a 12 dollar drink charged my card for 37.99. If you come up here just make sure to check what your paying for.

  • Cristiano Ferreira

The brunch was very poor! I ordered an OG hide double cheeseburger. I got an MC Donald’s quality burger. Very thin patty burger. The food was very oily and lacked sophistication when preparing it. Besides that, Aperol's spirits were very lovely.

  • Raven Jordan

We stopped in for drinks, but also ordered the chicken and hot honey pizza. It was surprisingly good and enough to feed 4. As for the drinks, they're good. Not too strong and creative flavors. It's kinda overpriced, but good for the experience

  • Vera Andrews

I had a great date night here! I noticed a lot of couples meeting up here for drinks.. They have a good happy hour and super cheap bar snacks.. great craft drinks. The bar tender is nice and the vibe is nice and I'll definitely come again.

  • Samantha Steele

Easily my favorite go-to bar for cocktails, knowledgeable bar staff and oh-so-good food! This is not a pretentious cocktail bar. The cocktails are approachable, yet as exotic and adventerous as you'd like. Everything on the menu is there

  • Ryan F

Didn't think I'd find something quite so unique here. This place is legitimately one of the cooler places I've been in Dallas. Stellar cocktails (high attention to detail) amazing food with huge favor. Definitely coming back. …

  • Wannee Panmunin

Super swanky decor which provides a great atmosphere. We were given a small complimentary shot when we arrived. Not sure what it was, but it was tasty! I ordered the Pretentious Mule and was not expecting it to be served in a champagne

  • Abhimanyu Rana

It's kinda ok, nothing great unless you have good number of friends along with you. I won't recommend bringing someone on date. We went on Friday night around 11pm, they ran out of food so we had to BYOF from nearby pizzeria.

  • Ele J

2nd visit and I'm loving the food. Easy to make vegan. Today Iwe had the Shredded Kale Salad with no cheese and added avocado. Our cocktails was the Ameretto sour hod the egg white and the beautiful purple Sister's Paradise.

  • Shane Pape

Place was decent. Photos on Yelp and Google had food from before the place changed. I was sad to find the charcuterie wasn't an option. We got happy hour apps and some drinks. Drinks were top notch and the food was tasty.

  • Jessica Brown

I really liked the vibe at Hide, the space is different cool. The bartenders are really knowledgeable. The food is AMAZING best bar food I have ever had. The sherry based drink I had called The Fond Farewell was Great!!

  • Mike Monnat

Burger and Dirty Tots were outstanding! Lively atmosphere with great drinks. Staff were very friendly and I had the pleasure of meeting the establishment owner who was extremely hospitable. I'll be back with friends!

  • Aisha Johns

The bartender was rude and never asked us if we wanted to order just stood in front of us for 10 seconds then walked away. We ended up leaving after about 10 minutes because the vibes were not it.

Really impressed by this place. The cocktails are refreshing and different but you can still get standard pours without feeling out of place. I've only had the brief and onion toast to eat but YUM! Perfect bite!
