I started the process in early April (2022), met with the accountant and provided all the documents the same day. After numerous attempts, the accountant, Mr. Nader Shahid, finally, in late July, sent me a draft. It was full of errors and inaccuracies. I noted and highlighted all the mistakes within a couple of days. I never heard anything back despite calling more than ten times, sending fifteen emails and opening an escalation case with H&R Canada. Not a single word. Now, after more than six months from the beginning of the process with Mr. Shahid and H&R Block, I'm late in filing my taxes for the first time. I have unauthorized them to file my taxes. Very unprofessional, disorganized and unreliable. Save yourself and your reputation and run away from them. --------------------- Update: Adding additional context. I have filed a support ticket the HQ in June, (reference number: 1232144). had to do multiple follow ups myself, till eventually received a call from district manager late July. Got one response from the accountant and he disappeared again. Now after 6 months of chasing the H&R Block, I'm giving up. Unauthorizing them from filing my taxes.

What was said would take 1 week is now 5! The lady that answers the phone is rude...and they keep saying they will call us back and never do. Terrible service, worse ever and still waiting!!

Detailed, and very responsive (as long as it is during their opening hours). However, you need to know what you want from them and be direct.
